Overall the service was good.
Like most rooms in Hawaii, the hotel needs to be updated.
Nothing at all
the location of the hotel is perfect! Centered in the heart of Waikiki, everything was within walking distance. There is a hotel resort fee, but is nice that it covered the parking fee. justin was our check in agent and his service was superb, easy to talk to and very informative.
Hotel is slightly dated, a new paint job would make it look nice, better air circulation would be good. Elevators are slightly small and run slow. Elevators in the parking garage are only located on the very top floor. Makes it a small hike to get your luggage to the elevator.
Not on beach but very central.
Rooms and beds need updating.
My family enjoyed a great stay at the Sheraton. All the employees that I dealt with were amazing. A certain front desk person I believe named Andy was awesome. He remembered my name upon checkout and also saw to it that a package that I was expecting in the mail got to my room immediately upon arrival. Angie at the pool was a great server. And one day they forgot to clean our room, but after a call to the front desk someone was in our room within a few minutes to tidy the place up. All employees certainly seemed to care a great deal for people staying at the hotel.
Proximity to ocean was perfect.
Elevators slow and always crowded. Bar staff grumpy.
I like the room I had partial ocean view and it was clean. I like their lobby it's a nice place to relax. I like it that I was able to print my boarding pass for free and conveniently.
I was there to attend a workshop .I humbly asked the front desk for a late check at 12nn instead of 11am. I got locked out!!!! Fortunately I loaded my luggages into the car before I went to the workshop. When I went back to my room to get my snacks in the fridge, my key didn't work anymore. Dang!!! why did the hotel lock me out? I was granted to checked out late but they lock me out !!! Improved a little bit more to satify your customers.
Can't really say as they overbooked the hotel & we had to stay next door at the Ohana East. The Ohana East was clean and a little older, but nowhere near the Sheraton
we arrived at 11 pm, the girl at the front desk was not very personable. After taking our name & credit card she disappeared into the back office for several minutes. When she came back she informed us they had overbooked the hotel and they had out us in a room next door at the Ohana East, which is NOT a Sheraton, just convineintly located next door. My husband was upset so the night time manager came out and talked to us. He was nice enough to get in our car & show us where the parking was for the Ohana East. Unfortunately he was wrong and told us to turn onto a one way alley street, in the wrong direction. After my husband had to reverse out if there we found the parking garage for the Ohana East When I mentioned to the Ohana East front desk staff that the Sheraton sent us here because they over booked, he said they had overbooked by FOURTY rooms !!! I would suggest you book directly thru the hotel if you want to stay here. Finding somewhere else to stay would probably be best.
front desk person did not give me back my credit card till I found out and came down to grab it.
