8.3 Excellent
Pros: My family of 5 stayed here for a quick weekend trip to Mammoth Caves. Check in was super easy, all we had to do was call when we arrived and Sherry walked us through what to do. She was super friendly and so was her dog Lulu. Was close to our destination. We didn't really have time to walk around, so can't comment on the downtown location. Was quiet, traffic didn't bother our sleep. My children's first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast, and this 200 yr old home did not let us down. Was charming. Breakfast both days was delicious. Pancakes, bacon and eggs the first day. Biscuits and gravy, eggs the second day. Fresh fruit both days.
Cons: We stayed 2 nights and didn't have fresh towels for the following day, but did find them on our own. Also we couldn't lock our bedroom doors. Keys were provided but didn't work to lock the doors when we weren't in. We decided to take anything valuable with us to our outings. Honestly, no one bothered our room when we weren't there. The furniture in the room besides the beds were very old. You can't sit in them. Beds were fine.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect for my daughter and I (two beds) and the sheets were super comfortable! The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. For a 200 year old building, it is in excellent condition and the bathroom was modern and lovely. Cherie was a gracious and lovely host and accommodated us in every way. The breakfast was excellent. The B&B is easy walking distance to many nice restaurants and Cherie gave us some recommendations to good ones.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Pros: Lovely restored older home. Lovely Cherie, the owner. The beds were good. The bathrooms were good. The breakfasts were homemade! We loved it! Cherie went out of her way to make our family feel welcome!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean and especially bathrooms were above expectations. Very good breakfast. Courteous and friendly staff.
6.8 Good
Cons: The hotel is advertised as "no Pets". Our first morning we encountered a lady in the breakfast room with a dog on a leash. She was handling the dog, then handling the food without using the tongs. On the second day the same lady came into the breakfast area after she had obviously taken the dog out for a "walk" because she was carrying the bag of waste in her hand and thus going through the line and handling the food. The lady working in the breakfast area saw this an didn't bother to confront her. At check out, we relayed this information to the person who checked us out and was assured that we would get a call from the hotel. At this moment, no call.

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpfull. More like a log cabin than a hotel room, 3 walls were paneled. clean, shampoo, soap and plenty of towels. There is a 24/7 mcdonalds back out at the highway, about 2 miles. I
Cons: I really liked this place. Nothing I didnt like, well except the only place to eat within walking distance was a pasta place. Only regular coffee provided, but thats what I wanted, so np.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was a clean room. It says pet friendly but doesn't tell you they charge for the animal too. The bath room was very tiny. I don't think a large person could fit in it but it was very quite and I felt very safe there. we had to leave early and there was no one in the office to check out so we left the key in the mail box because there was no where to leave it. I would go back; it is 6 or 7 miles off the exit.
Cons: the bathroom was very small. A large person could not reach the toilet area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We needed a clean safe place to stay the night and this place was great!
Cons: Bathroom was small

Cons: I was told I would get my deposit back and I didn't and birds in the a/c woke us up
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was fantastic and so friendly. It was close enough to attractions and restaurants that it was easy but not so close that it was noisy. Value was great and we would definitely stay there again. We had a king bed that was separate from the living area. There was a fold out couch for the kids. Our room was nice and big so that we could use a pack and play for the baby and still had plenty of room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Price for room verses competitors was great. I got two rooms for the price of one. Also rooms were very nice.
Cons: One toilet in one of our rooms did not work as well as others.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Despite the dated room, it was very clean and had a new TV and mini-fridge.
Cons: The walls were paper thin, so we could hear the neighbors' TV all night. The rooms haven't been changed in the least since the 70's, including the bedding.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the attraction we were interested in visiting
Cons: Extremely outdated. Rooms appear to have been furnished from Goodwill or a rummage sale.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice, rooms were clean, affordable!
Cons: Wound up having Coworker's child come as well and was charged extra for this. I told the guy I had confirmed my booking at a certain price and he showed me the rules of the property. I understand, I just thought it was strange.

Pros: Good location to Mammoth Cave. There's not much else to do around there but visit the caves.

Cons: The bed was really hard.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel was close to all the attractions but so are all the other hotels in cave city. For the price it pretty much met our expectations of what it would be like to stay in a hotel in cave city.
Cons: For the price I didn't expect it to be a 4 star experience. The beds and pillows were somewhat uncomfortable. The AC made it either freezing or warm in the room. The day we arrived the pool was very dirty but looked as though someone cleaned it the next day. We didn't try the breakfast because it ended at 9am and was very crowded.

Cons: noisy,dusty,smelly room
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The woman at the front desk was very nice and let us check in almost 2 hours early which we appreciated because we brought children and the breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like is that they ran our card to put a hold on the funds for the entire 2 night stay the second we got there. I wanted to use my debit card but couldn't because the funds would not be there til the next morning. I don't recall this at any other hotel.

They were very helpful and kind and they put us together. Our room was very big and AWESOME. The room temperature was excellent. I loved my stay. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever had at any hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We Highly recommend this place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was wonderful. What kind of sheets were on the bed and where can I get them? Seriously.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: I like that it offered a pool, hot tub, gym, and free breakfast.
Cons: I did not like that my stay was very noisy. We could not relax because our neighbors above and beside us were stomping, running, and hitting walls. The hotel would not do anything about it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Seem to be Family orient. Great service and breakfast had numerous choices and was very good. Love the cinnamon rolls!!
Cons: Very satisfied with our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: I booked this reservation through booking.com. When checking in, the desk clerk didn't ask me to confirm the rate. When I got to my room, I received a message from my credit card company stating the charge that the hotel applied to my account. It was about $47 higher than my confirmed rate from booking.com for a two-night stay. I showed my confirmation email to the desk clerk, and she adjusted my rate. It seems that there should be better coordination between the hotel and booking.com to be sure the customer is charged the correct rate.

Pros: The breakfast was ok.
Cons: no mini- fridge in the room. for what they are charging people they could at least have a fridge to help keep our drinks cold, They did not even have a microwave. I came across two states and the traffic was great and we made it to the hotel at 8: 30 instead of 11:00 to 12:00 like I had thought. These sand camel people would not let me go ahead and check in. I would have to pay $30.00 for early check in. I could have seen that if they where booked up, but no more than 5 rooms where rented out. Even though my check in time was for 11:00 to 12:00, I had to wait until 12:00 to check in. before these ragheads took over all of America's hotels we use to be able to check in at 11:00. Did I mention I had three children all under the age of 12 with me. I told him I had pins and screws in my back and needed to rest. Still the answer was no to checking in. I will not go back to this hotel anymore.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was great, had to chan
Cons: Had to change room, because it was to hot even with the air conditioner on. We movies to rent was out of order. There was no refrigerator or microwave or coffee pot in the room. Would not take the aarp.

Cons: Beds were very hard. Outside looks very run down.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: We got there late at night and they had us wait in a weird lobby and talked to us through a window. Didn't tell us not to unload our stuff because our room was far away. Then took 10 minutes checking us in away from us. Wasn’t sure what was going o
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, they even had bacon! Plus fried eggs. Location easy to find and close to mammoth cave.
Cons: My only frustration was checking in. We arrived slightly after 10pm and nobody was around. It was not until I used my cell phone to call the hotel that there was a person to talk to. As soon as I said I was in the lobby I was helped right away. Polite and efficient, wish I would have called right away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly at check-in, at breakfast and at check-out. Breakfast was adequate. Rooms were clean. Pleasantly surprised!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My family stayed here after a visit to Mammoth cave. The hotel is only 15 minutes away which was great. There is an awesome BBQ joint directly across the street that we all loved. Hotel staff was friendly, and the included breakfast was very good quality, although not very much variety.
Cons: I would say the overall housekeeping is very good in the rooms. Outside property maintenance could be better with some ceilings peeling, and doors that could use painting. Inside the rooms was overall good. The basic linens, carpet, counters were all clean. The bathroom was OK but could use a grout scrubbing and replace some caulk. My biggest complaint....... THE ROOF WAS NOT RED..!!
7.0 Good

Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: Very old, very dirty, also totally empty the entire weekend we were there. Felt like an abandoned nursing home with all the old decor and the musty smell.
7.0 Good
Pros: Owners couldn’t have been nicer
Cons: It’s time to remodel
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Pretty view.
Cons: My fiancée and I considered leaving. We don’t mind old and rustic, but the place raised health concerns. Vents in room were caked w dust and rust. We thought the mirrors had steamed up, but the coating was dust. The blankets on the bed probably hadn’t been washed. I dislike bleach yet the smell gave me a little security there might not be bed bugs. However, he woke up w bites all over him. The guy at desk didn’t ask us how our stay was when I checked out otherwise I’d have told him.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The free coffee by reception.
Cons: The hotel is very aged. The dead bugs on the window need cleaning. It smelled very musty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: An older facility with character and charm. Our adjoined rooms made traveling with children easier. Plenty of room and having a refrigerator, microwave and fold out couch were wonderful unexpected bonuses :)
Cons: Beds a bit too soft but other than that we really enjoyed our stay
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location as good, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: We thought it would be kind of like a rustic lodge. Unfortunately, during the 3 days we were there, the restaurant was closed, the bar was closed, the winery was closed, there were no staff members on site, and the Lobby was locked except the morning we checked out. The hotel seemed like it was abandoned except for the 2 other cars in the parking lot. Generally disappointed.
4.3 Okay
Cons: 1. No smoke detectors in our room. 2. Window unit Air Conditioner powered by extension cord. 3. Initial reservation specifically stated we will had an emotional support dog with us. We were booked into a pet room, but at the last minute, our room was changed to a non-pet room. Room had first two items. 4. Carpet felt and smelled dirty/soiled. 5. Some woman knocked on our door at 9:30pm the night before we checked out and asked if we had a pet in the room. I replied we did. She stated it was a non-pet room and we either need to move into a pet room or pay a $50 pet fee and our dog was not a service animal, even though it was identified as an emotional support animal on our booking.com reservation. 5. The woman was unpleasant. I do not know her position at the resort as she never had an Identification Card, nor did she volunteer any information. 6. The restaurant was closed due to a grease fire recently. 7. Ended up paying a $50 pet fee the night before we checked out because we were assigned (not chose) a non-pet room. 8. A visit from the state fire marshall would get the resort to fall in line with the NFPA.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location off the beaten path.
Cons: Hasn’t been updated for several years. Our room had a busted window that was taped.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was really great, friendly and extra accommodating.
Cons: Pool was out of order and would have like a balcony facing the woods.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Did not have breakfast.

3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The only real plus side was hot breakfast and the fact that they had nice pillows.
Cons: The first night there we found spiders and bugs in the room. The chair in the room was all stained and needed to clean along with the flooring in the room. The bed was awful and very uncomfortable. the overall aroma of the room was very musty and was very hard to tolerate. The pool was indoors and in the shade making the pool water very cold. It was 95° outside and The pool was practically unusable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not eat breakfast. Enjoyed early coffee. Enjoyed pool if only for a second. Enjoyed staff because they were smiling and conversive. Location was great to what I was doing.
Cons: Location fit all my needs.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, property less than spectacular.
Cons: Was told my friend, who I had come to visit, could not come swim with me in the pool. Very disappointing!
6.8 Good
Pros: Basic breakfast. kids loved making waffles.juice and coffee provided. Variety of muffins and bagels. Scrambled eggs and sausage.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The pool looked clean
Cons: Well the pool don’t open up til 10 so you don’t get to enjoy it! The pool should open early so families like us have time to relax in it before checking out. Also too the management was arguing with a customer for over a hour then cops were Called. It smelled like a skunk had been inside the building. I had my 7 year old granddaughter too and we couldn’t even enjoy the pool because all of This was Going on right in front of her. I am very disappointed and I will never recommend this Days Inn or will I never go back there!!! We travel and Use motels quite often but this one was far from being a nice one!!! Also that evening there was about 10 guys out in the back parking lot partying and it was loud and no one said a word to them. Not a family setting at All!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Most importantly the staff was very helpful and courteous.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The kids loved the pool. I liked the location and all the stuff you could do around the area
Cons: I wish there would have been delivery places number for food in the room. I had to go ask the nice man that worked there for the best place to eat the number.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Our room had a bad fruit fly problem. We told the lady at the desk, she said she was going to notify the manager but we never heard anything. I bet we killed over 100 fruit flies while we stayed there. We would have left but it was July 4th and finding a hotel on the 4th wasn't easy. It would have been nice to be moved to a different room or when we checked out to have been given a discount on our bill. I will never recommend this hotel in Glasgow to anyone.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: nothing I'd give no stars if I could
Cons: 1. Lumpy pillows that were probably 20 years old 2. Paid extra for breakfast which consisted of toast and coffee and one muffin (at 7 am) 3. Air conditioner ran all night and was loud 4. Old smell 5. Barely lukewarm water not hot 6. 2 threadbare towels for children that could barely be considered ample for 2 adults 7. Empty Miller light 12 pack left in fridge (do the cleaners check that?) 8. toilet paper holder behind door which the door barely cleared the toilet so imagine the navigation upon discovering that 9. noises! 10. crappy bed linens!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was all amazing. The room was a little small but EVERY member of the staff we spoke with was so friendly and polite.
Cons: We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers so the room was a little small but it was clean and well maintained so no big complaints.
