When visiting Helsingor, B & B By The Sea is a great choice to consider. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails. Other highlights include a terrace and a garden.
Cons: No Air Conditioner!?! At the very least, a hotel needs to have Air Conditioning. There was a fan in the room!!
Pros: The location was great (easy walking distance to central station) and the rooms were were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was great as well.
Cons: A false fire alarm went off at 4:30AM the first night of my stay.
Pros: Small room, without a/c so we open the window and it was a little bit noisy, breakfast was really nice in a big and nice room.
The stand was very helpful
Pros: Great location, steps to the central train station (15 min. ride to the airport). The room was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean, while and the lobby a great place to relax and the garden and sidewalk tables and chairs are perfect for smokers. Excellent value for the price.
Cons: Rooms do not have air conditioner and, while the city's temperature in August was cool, keeping the windows open at night was not an option because of the street noises generated by people. The staff graciously gave us a second room, which was significantly better in terms of noise, but you still could hear people eating breakfast in the garden
Pros: No complaints whatsoever. Room waa very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Loxation is aupwr convenient for getting to/from the main train station.
Pros: It's within easy walking distance to the central station . Loved the room! Clean, functional and modern.
Cons: I liked everything about the hotel.
Pros: The hiotel is very well lcoated, minutes away from Tivoli Garden and the central station. It's clean, with very pretty rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, in a big, bright room. It also has a very welcoming reception, where you can sit and relax while planning your day or waiting for your friends to get ready.
Cons: The wifi signal in the bedrooms was weak. At night, the area is a bit noisy and in the middle of the red light district.
Pros: It was a nice room, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast, and convenient location.
Pros: We stayed in the annex, Absalon City Hotel's cheap section. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Copenhagen, especially Tivoli Gardens.
Cons: Part of staying in the annex is shared bathroom facilities - the only downside. However, this is what you pay for in the cheaper lodging in the annex, so it's definitely a good value.
Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very pretty. My room was small and expensive, but reasonable compared to most places in Copenhagen.
Cons: My room didn't come with a breakfast. It's not a big thing, I'm just saying.
Pros: Clean, comfy, nice rooms. Good location, right near main metro but in a quiet area.
Cons: They put us in the Annex rather than the Hotel-- so shared bathrooms and shared shower for 20 rooms (instead of the hotel's usual private bathroom). We had booked via kayak for 'hotel' at their lowest room price ($96), but there was no mention in the booking that it was just for the Annex, so I felt downgraded without notification-- the price was a bit high for a hostel (but not totally unreasonable-- the place is very nice). The Annex is more like a Hostel and was fine for 1 night, but probably not useful for folks who want their own bathroom.
Pros: The location was great, along with the lobby and staff.
Cons: Nowhere on the website did I find pictures of the part of the hotel where I stayed. Different rooms.

Pros: Loved the decor. Great location blocks from train station and Tivoli gardens.Fabulous but expensive breakfast.
Cons: Older bed, creaked as we rolled over. Loud street noise as a restaurant is just across the street. Room was very warm and because the street was so noisy didn't open the window.
Pros: Our flight landed in Copenhagen super early (0700), so we were a bit nervous when we arrived to the hotel well before check-in time. The front desk was super welcoming and had a room ready for us immediately! Check-in couldn't have been any easier, and our stay was wonderful! We were able to drop our bags in our room, and begin roaming the city (all within walking distance) immediately. There is plenty of room to lounge around either inside or outside on the beautiful terrace. We only ate breakfast there, but it was delicious and full of options for the picky eaters. Late night we grabbed a glass of wine at their bar and were offered fantastic recommendations by the bartender. They also had free organic apples every morning sitting by the front door for anyone to take. This place went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Some reviews complain about the lack of AC, but we had a room with a balcony overlooking the terrace, and a gentle breeze kept the room cool the entire time. Noise was never an issue for us either, and we slept quite comfortably at night. Other reviews also complain about the towels, but they were perfect and the bathroom was beautiful. 5/5 stars!! We hope to come back soon!
Cons: Nothing but good things to say about this place!
Pros: Location, service, food, spa
Cons: thin walls, creaky floors so you can hear your neighbors go down the hall and enter the rooms.

Pros: Location good near metro stations and easy to access from airport.
Cons: Incredibly hot in the summer. No AC. Rooms pretty uncomfortable.
Pros: Good room layout, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Location close to Tivoli gardens, and bike rentals available!
Cons: No air conditioning, though opening a window with the provided fan was just fine. Rooms were clean, but not best maintained over the years.

Pros: Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, in the near of the central station
Cons: The double bed room was very uncomfortable,
you can not lock the room, its like the cellar room:
The waste pipe of the upper room is in this room over the bed and when it is used very noisy!!
The bed is very uncomfortable.
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Very, very basic accommodation

Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this hotel is steps from Hans Christian Andersen Fairy-Tale House and City Hall Square. Stroeget and Tivoli Gardens are also within 5 minutes.
Cons: This isn't really a dislike, just be aware the smaller rooms are REALLY small, if this is an issue, opt for one size larger
Cons: We received an email prior to checking in asking what time we would arrive . We explained 10 am due to leaving cruise ship they said no problem we will have your room ready . When we arrived they had no knowledge of letter and no room until late afternoon and a lobby full of people. They asked if they could put us in another hotel. We agreed. The location was not nearly as good . They double charged us for a room. It was hot . No hvac on top floor. Very dirty carpets and furniture. No wake up call as requested .
Pros: stylish, good location
Cons: Similar to other reviewers, had problems with booking through Kayak. Getaroom.com did not forward $$$ to hotel. Double charged. Had to call credit card company to put a hold on kayak charge made 2 months earlier.
Pros: Good location, interesting design
Cons: I made a reservation via Kayak for November 28th, and arrived from a trans-atlantic flight in the evening to prepare for a dinner at geranium. The lobby is a confused wine-bar/check-in hybrid and between serving drinks, and chatting with a friend the person at the desk told me after 10 minutes there was a problem with my reservation. After another 5 minutes she told me that due to issues with the online reservation agent the hotel had decided to no longer accept bookings and had cancelled my reservation. After approximately another 5 minutes of me trying to understand how this could have happened with a confirmed reservation and reservation number in hand, she told me that the online agent had been informed and that it was their responsibility to inform me - predictably this turned into a she-said/he-said with the online agent subsequently stating that no such conversation had occured. Finally another 5 minutes in, I prevailed upon the person at reception to call my favourite hotel in Copenhagen (which was supposed to be fully booked) and beg for a room. This was finally done and I left. Sadly I was forced to return and actually stay at sp34 due to a strong masochistic streak and a non-refundable booking made prior to my first dealings with them.
Sadly sp34 continued in what I can only describe as the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered in Europe. The check in again was confused. The hallways were frigid and the rooms cold. My room a deluxe double, apparently one step below their suite was exactly 11 feet by 15 feet and was tragically decorated in a style you could charitably call "Danish hipster" but which I would relabel nonsensical uncomfortable and bourgeois. The room was claustrophobic and looked out over the main street where at exactly 4:30 AM deliveries began and garbage was removed. The water pressure was poor the shower difficult to direct and the towels appeared to have been remade from recycled cardboard. Having to check out at 6:45 AM to make a flight I inquired since I had paid for a breakfast and thought it started at 6:30 if I could take something to go? Sadly by this point I was not surprised to hear that I would be charged 15 DKK for a danish and no rebate would be offered for uneaten breakfast.... I left not feeling hungry at all.
I would beg those of you who expect a contemporary tasteful danish hotel experience to stay ANYWHERE else. The sp34 may be in its infancy but I anticipate this hotel is never going to amount to more than mediocre service and offer pretentions to ill-defined danish cool.
Pros: The hotel was in a great location and had a convonvient bar in the lobby. The rooms we clean and the bed was comfortable!
Pros: Hotel didn't have the reservations I'd made with Kayak and double-charged me even though I specifically did not authorize it.
Cons: Didn't like much of what was dealt at this hotel.
Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this eco-friendly hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Light Theatre and City Hall Square. Stroeget and Tivoli Gardens are also within 10 minutes.
Havreholm Slot is a great choice for a stay in Hornbaek. The restaurant is the perfect spot for a bite to eat, and after having fun at the outdoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. A poolside bar and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer furnished balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Great common areas and bar area. Fun decor and amazingly nice staff.
Cons: Can be pricey for a hostel but it's in demand in the area so I get it.
Pros: How easy it was to check in and out
Cons: Not too much
Pros: As hostels go, this is a great one. Well thought out and hip. Attention is paid to what economy travelers on the go need.
Generator Copenhagen is within a 10-minute walk of Kongens Nytorv Metro and Nørreport Station, offering quick access to the busiest railway hub in Denmark. Guests can reach Rosenborg Castle Garden in 2 minutes on foot, or stroll 10 minutes to Strøget, a street lined with shops and restaurants.
Pros: Location in the Artists district and in a very quiet neighborhood .
Cons: The showers are weird. Even by European standards. One flat floor in the bathroom with a drain for the shower water in the middle...don't go in with your socks on after a shower has been had...poor design in my opinion.
Cons: the room is small, no comfortable chair to sit on, no soap and shampoo in the shower (I was sure that those will be supplied and did not bring with me!).
With Nansensgade’s cafés, boutiques, and galleries around the corner, guests at Ibsens Hotel have a host of entertainment options at hand. Nørreport Metro Station and Torvehallerne food market are a 5-minute walk away, and the University of Copenhagen Botanical Gardens are just a few minutes more.
Take in the views from the rooftop terrace when you stay at Comwell Borupgaard. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with hot stone massages, body scrubs, or facials. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer flat-screen TVs and room service.
Skjalm Hvide Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Slangerup. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or wind down at the end of the day with a drink from the bar/lounge. Other highlights include a garden, and rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Pros: Everything was great. They helped me get whatever I needed. Plus they had drinks and snacks available at all times. We met some great couples and families there. The view of the ocean is perfect. If you stay in the separate house the kitchen and bathroom floors are heated when it's brisk out. It's really close to Hamlets Castle and it is a must see. The main dining room, living room and breakfast nook have a great view of the ocean.
Cons: I only stayed in one other bed and breakfast so I don't know what the standard is but this one you have to pay for breakfast and because my past experience I thought it was included. It is quite a ways to both train stations but I think we were the only ones there without a car. It still would have been nice to get a ride to the train station as a courtesy but the taxi doesn't take long and u can walk but it's more then 10 minutes also it is a long ways to restaurants in the off season because the closest one is closed. If you want a view of the ocean from your bedroom you have to reserve it and the separate house is stuck in the back.
Located near a train station, Villa Snekkersten is a great choice for a stay in Snekkersten. Free perks include WiFi and self parking.
Pros: Everything works well in this hotel. Very small rooms but well laid out, great staff, nice lobby and amenities. Absolutely great location, near Ny Havn and Koneg's square-metro stop from airport. Considerably cheaper than other places so happy to forgo free breakfast and large room. Great value for the money
Cons: All was great. Long line at 11 o'clock checkout but they have express checkout or you can get extended checkout for free until noon which helps avoid the line.
Pros: Good location, close to transit and attractions, clean and bright rooms
Cons: Small rooms, unvaried breakfast
Cons: Arrived in the morning and the type of room I booked was not available, so paid for an upgrade in that there were no available lockers to store our luggage. Would prefer to pay a fee to store luggage in a storage room.
Pros: This hotel was surprisingly nice. Location was great, staff was excellent, breakfast convenient and room very nice. My only complaint is the bathroom was frosted glass. You couldn't see much (could tell where the person was and if they were standing or sitting but nothing else) but you could hear everything. it wasn't too bad but just don't expect any privacy.
Also offers to store luggage for 20dkk per bag. (Approx $3 in December 2015). We used it and it was very convenient and easy.
Located in Copenhagen City Centre, this eco-friendly hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Copenhagen Amber Museum, Nyhavn, and Round Tower. Stroeget and Frederik's Church are also within 15 minutes.
Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.
Pros: The hotel is very nice inside, the staff was friendly and relatively quick to serve you. The hotel was located right in the center of the city, so far everything is a short walk. The hotel appeared clean, it was beautifully decorated with fall decor when we stood there. The rooms themselves were clean with no odors or anything like that. Overall the hotel was a good experience.
Cons: The hotel rooms were nice but they were a bit small. Our room faced a brick wall so there was no view, nada. When we got to the hotel at 4pm they told us that the room wasn't ready, which was annoying. Aside from that our experience at the hotel was pleasurable.
Pros: Staff was wonderful, everybody spoke perfect English and were very helpful! Breakfast was worth the price. Would highly recommend it for location and staff!
Cons: Rooms were a little smaller than we expected.
Pros: Location was premium. Central to everything. I found the staff very accommodating & friendly.
Cons: There was an underlying unpleasant smell in the room. Couldn't tell what it was.
Pros: Great location, small but very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Front desk staff were a bit brusque (on previous visits, they have been very friendly).
Pros: I had low expectation as Copenhagen hotels are expensive and you don't get much for your money. We stayed at Square for $250/night including breakfast, wifi and taxes. Room was decent size for a European hotel. Breakfast buffet selection was sufficient. Location is central. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again.
Overlooking the Rådhuspladsen from which it takes its name, The Square, Copenhagen is right in the city center. Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen Central Station are only 5 minutes away, while the colorful canalside bars of Nyhavn are a 20-minute walk along Strøget, the city's main pedestrian street.
