10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can't tell you how special our stay here was, for both the beautiful hospitality and location. It's one we'll never forget! The riad... It's simply outstanding. Very elegant & tranquil. It feels like a wellness retreat! Luxurious too which we didn't expect in the Atlas - hot water, good electricity & wifi. Perfect for the hiker, adventurer, couple wanting romance, family, or those just in need of some relaxation (my stress literally melted away like magic here). It's much like a cosy home-stay living with a family full of kindness in a sweet village along a dusty path from Imlil's centre. Their hospitality is out of this WORLD - the best we've ever had! They cook you wholesome food grown from the land... Fresh, delicious, perfect. Portions are indulgent, breakfast is large, dinner is 3 courses. In the day they bring mint tea & nuts as you sit enjoying the view of mountains, villages, pretty mosques and Toubkal itself.... oh wow that view! The location's excellent as it's far enough for the views and close enough that the short 10 minute walk isn't strenuous at all. If you're like us and not up for a hike, you can relax on the terrace or walk into Imlil for a lazy day. It's a peaceful town with fresh mountain air, gorgeous trinkets and calming Islam traditions - when the adhan calls, it echoes through the whole valley and is truly a beautiful sound. Then there are the little touches the hosts add to go the extra mile: the traditional berber clothes you're offered to wear, the coffee and tea in your room, board games, books, walking you into town, greeting you with warmth and a huge smile every interaction. This is such a personalised, unique experience that's so difficult to come by. Pure bliss. We will definitely return! Thank you Rashid, Ibrahim & your family.

Pros: The Road runs by a family and it really makes you feel like staying at home here. Ibrahim and his brother are super nice, food (esp. the breakfast) was great! The room are well equipped, the view from balcony is amazing! After the chaos in Marrakech, Atlas 4 Season @Imlil would be a great escape! Btw, the shower was GREAT! Hot shower with great water pressure!
Cons: The only problem during my stay was the breakfast was so good and BIG!

A very friendly owner! It is possible to order meals, tea. Plenty of room in the eating-room (with a fire-place) as well as on the terrace on the roof.
Cons: The location requires some walking from the town centre (cafes, taxi), which I assume not every visitor might find comfortable.

Pros: Unbelievable stay, I have been travelling around the world for 6 years now and this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. Hassan is an amazing host, such a pure and gentle soul and so relaxed. We ate dinner at the guesthouse for a very fair price and it did not disappoint (we had the Tajine). The view from the guest house is phenomenal, thank you Hassan for having us, it’s been an unforgettable stay!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the riad is superb with beautiful views of the Atlas mountains. The hikes are amazing and many different routes on offer. This is the second time we have stayed in Atlas prestige and as always great host and amazing food. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We couldn't ask for better hosts, Ibrahim and Yusuf couldn't do enough to help you. We will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad Atlas Prestige has a beautiful location with a view over the valley. Although it is cold at night, they provide heaters and hot water for each room, and the beds are cozy - I felt warm inside the bed. The food was delicious - the best food I've had in Morocco so far.
Cons: If you're walking from the center of Imlil, it's a bit confusing to find the place for the first time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at riad atlas prestige was simply amazing and we loved everything about it. The riad itself was very nice, cozy, warm, clean and it had perfect terrace with a breath-taking view on the High Atlas mountains. Dinners and breakfasts were served in a nice common area with fireplace where we met other super interesting guests. All of the food was really tasty and fresh, mostly traditional morrocan dishes. The location of the riad could not be better as it was directly on a path to Toubkal and also other daily treks such as Tiz Mizik. The best part about the stay was however the lovely host Yussuf who was so friendly and welcoming that he made our stay unforgetable. He was always in good mood and helpful, he even gave us warm bottles for the night, so we slept like big babies. Lastly, the riad provided us with a shuttle transport from the airport, which was perfect since it was a privet ride in a new and safe car. The driver was also extremely nice and made the ride enjoyable. We would definetely come back to this riad! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, staff amazing, food was great, the best breakfast on our trip. The little touches like a hot water bottle and tea to our room made us feel very welcome. We will be back for sure. We did walks each day and were happy to stay in the riad each evening and eat there, amazing value. Thanks to you all see you again soon
Cons: Nothing we loved it here
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic. One of the best places we stayed in all of Morocco. Very friendly atmosphere, cozy communal space. The room was perfect. Lots of space, hot shower, great heater in the room. They were happy to reccomend activities. Staff carried our luggage and helped us get out of the parking lot when we left. Allowed us to pay with credit card at another location, but please try to bring them cash as its preferred and there is no ATM in imlil. Very accommodating people and fantastic property. They even gave us hot water bottles at night! Can't say enough good things.
Cons: Can be a bit daunting to drive to the property (and to Imlil in general).

Cons: Nothing. We loved everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want to experience a completely off the beaten track village in the Atlas Mountains, this is your place. The Berber lodge offers comfort above expectations, it has everything you need, at a basic but great level.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The people are great, it is a family project. Ask about walking to the next villages and to Imlil proper, it is a really interesting walk (2 or 3 hours) and there are other short walks to take (3 hours) . Give yourself more time than we did. You really need to take a couple of walks 3 hours or 4 hours each (not difficult). Beautiful spot. It is a real village, with chickens and donkeys and real life and construction going on all around. If you are game for that you will like it a lot. The stars from the roof terrace are great.
Cons: A few thoughtful touches, such as hooks to hang up clothes in the room would be welcome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we loved everything and totally recommend everyone to come here at least for one night! the owner is super welcoming and helpful, he also advised us about what to see and where to go for a little hike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want an authentic Moroccan homestay, then this is it. By walking up the village steps at the end of the road (turn left where there is an 'x' sprayed on the step), walk about 2 minutes through the village. Any person in the village can tell you where to go though, everyone is so friendly. The bedroom we had was extremely comfortable and warm. There are a couple of toilets and bathrooms to share, but all reasonable for this type of accommodation. It's amazing to see the view down the valley, sipping mint tea and waiting for the delicious dinner. Highly recommend if in the Imlil area!
Cons: Although not a major issue for us, if it is full then there will be quite a few people having to use the bathrooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing one night stay with Mohammed and his family. Such a beautiful location. We were warmly welcomed with breath taking views and delicious traditional home cooked food. We would highly recommend staying in this stunning, off the beaten track gem.

Pros: Village location away from the touristy bustle of Imlil. Warm welcome and helpful staff for walks and guides etc. Great views from the seating area and terrace for star gazing. Good food and breakfast. Walking options from the hotel.
Cons: Parking at sister hotel and a tricky 5 minute walk on paths leading up to the village. Delighted Mustafa carried our suitcase!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved the place and the view. We booked a tour to Mount toubkal directly with them and stayed in tents there. It was very nice and the quieter option to the refuge hut. Just one thing...the start of the track is another 4km walk. Since we had a hire car we could have driven there and parked. Would save you 8km in total of a very long hike...just as an idea.

Pros: Lovely staff and gorgeous terrace and breakfasts. View is incredible and well worth being outside of the main town for.
Cons: Being there in January made for a very very cold experience even in the hotel.

Pros: The Kasbah Imlil is located above the town and you have a great view of the mountains around Imlil. Our room was on the top level, roof terrace, and we had a big window front in front of the bed so we could see the stars by night. The food was traditional Berber style and tasty.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, warm room. Great views. Super value and homemade food to order. Internet good. Arranged good taxi and guide for us.
Cons: Poor water pressure in shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This beautiful Riad had the most wonderful view from the rooftop, which is where we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner! The room also had wrap-a-round windows so you could gaze at the mountains from your bed. It truly was a peaceful wonderful stay. So wonderful we decided to stay one extra night. We took a tour with Mohammed and had tea in his traditional Berber home that was so lovely and such a nice treat. Mohammed was very attentive and ready to make our stay the very best it could be.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. It was a bit of heaven.

Pros: Amazing views over the mountains. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of room and good facilities. Hassan was an amazing host with good English and extremely helpful. More than you can eat at breakfast. A very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Hassan is also an amazing cook providing thoroughly delicious different suppers each night of our stay.
Cons: The property is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Imlil, where other places to eat and shops are located, but this isn't a particular problem as the food provided by Hassan is exceptionally good and the tranquil location makes up for the minor lack of alternatives.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love it! We had great time in Imlil! Hassan was very friendly, he recommend a great trip to us and then we got a perfect dinner. Thank you!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Authentic village, helpful and friendly owner, breathtaking view from the terrace, tasty dinner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time on his birthday at Dar Aymane. We spent the day hiking and visiting the waterfall, we per Hassan’s excellent recommendation. At the end of the day, we ate dinner at the hotel and were treated to a scrumptious birthday cake; he says it was his best birthday yet! The hotel is absolutely clean and has stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. It’s a little bit outside of the main village, making it very cool and quiet. We would absolutely come back to see Hassan and stay again at Dar Aymane (and actually did, at the end of our trip around Morocco).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was exceptional! The place is very clean and very calm - exactly what we were looking for. Hassan hospitality was exceptional, he helped us with everything we needed (expedition to Toubkal, equipment etc). He is also a great cook! (He prepared dinners for us). The view from the room to the mountains and the village is precious. Hopefully we will come back! Thank you! Ps. The place is a little bit difficult to find so be sure to have the contact number (after all it is an advantage of this unique place)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, comfortable bed. One of the most beautiful room we had during our Morrocan travels. Nice bathroom, only the shower had low stream (for washing hair) and you had to wait at least 5 minutes for the warm water. Otherwise the room was perfect with nice view. The location is not as claimed on the booking offer. It's about 10 extra minutes of walking from the route, quite hidden, impossible to find without the help of locals but locals are very nice and used to navigate the tourists (without expecting money as it is in the cities). For us it was nice, but for some it might be to much of walking from the centre. But it is shorter for the start of your hike. We were there in December so provided heating was very appreciated. Breakfast ok.
Cons: You cannot prepay online so only cash or via paypal on the spot.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Good things: Hospitality, nice views, they do and look for anything you need (they are also interested in you take the things with them). Nice and big terrace to have the tea or the breakfast in summer. Shower was very comfortable and hot water worked very well. The host speaks english very well and is experienced organizing anything you need in the mountain… Regular things: For the price you can't be very exigent, but climatisation is not good, It is cold in the room, and living room. You have to stay with blankets when eating, because they don't turn the heater enough at afternoon, and nothing at morning. At room, being patient, you finally get comfort, but it takes some hours with the heater. Food is very tasty and so abundant. Because of the dinner I felt sick and I got a very hard stomach flu (2 days sick), but nobody else felt bad, it was only me. But anyway, I would recommend to avoid it, if you are not used to this food.
Cons: Worst thing: Location. It is false, it's just a lie, a cheating. It is 40 min walking from Imlil, in the mountain, crossing a river, etc… The cheating: Location is not in the road, as it is said now (november-2019, when I start the procedure to they change it). You'll not be able to get it by taxi/car for example or with baggage. They even say that they have free parking, what it is also a lie because it is not in the road. You can only get it by walking 20 minutes from the road (40 from Imlil), along the mountain (without indications), crossing a dry river, the snow if it is winter… It is even another village Ait Souka, not Imlil. It is just a cheating to get more clients, because they wouldn't get them otherwise. I wanted to visit Imlil in the afternoon, but I was not able to because of the distance, time, and tiring. Another Bad things: When booking my room, there were 2 bed options. I requested one double bed, not two individual beds. It is not mandatory to accept this request, It is optional. But they accepted it and confirmed it. Even so, they didn't fulfill it. Exchange rate to convert to Dirhams: They charged me a commission, not the exact rate. And they don't give you the detail or invoice.

Pros: the manager Hassan is a great person

Pros: Super great spot. It’s a bit out of town so you can enjoy the quiet. The staff were so friendly and made me feel so welcome. Extremely clean and great views overlooking the mountain. I thoroughly enjoyed having mint tea in the evenings out on the balcony watching the sunset. Honestly wish I could have stayed longer!
1.0 Poor
Pros: The lodge is situated in a beautiful village called Imlil. It is a bit high up so you will to walk a lot. However the lodge itself gave us a few problems.
Cons: A few shocking things here: 1) REFUSAL TO ENTER THE HOTEL. I had come here with my wife 3 years ago and we liked it so wanted to return. We got to the lodge at 10pm after a long flight and long car journey only to find the manager of the lodge (Mohammed) REFUSING US ENTRY until we provided an ORIGINAL MARRIAGE DOCUMENT !!! I found this truly shocking. Eventually they let us in by showing a picture on our phones of the document. We had never been treated like this. We had never been asked for a marriage doc let alone an original copy AND refusal to enter our rooms. I have NEVER been mistreated like this from any hotel in my life, and I have booked over 300 hotels across 32 countries and a huge member on booking.com. I spoke to jamal (owner) and he had nothing to say. I am disgusted. 2) The room I booked and the pictures provided did not match the room they gave us. But eventually they gave us what we booked but reminded us that it is usually double the price but the lodge was empty. Again, Jamal had no response. 3) On another day there were a Dutch married couple and they booked the exact same room as us, and they said they were given it immediately, AND they said they were not asked to provide a marriage certificate. So that highlights the favoritism and hypocrisy of the management of this place. Horrible. Never again. 4) Also might I add that there was blood on the bed sheets... AFTER ALL OF THIS AND JAMAL THE OWNER DID NOT EVEN APOLOGISE !!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They allow us to check-in one hour early and served us welcome drinks and tidbits at the roof top where the view of Toubkal Mountain is amazing. Breakfast served was simple and superb. Hot shower was made available throughout our stay. Parking space available at their premises. Their service was pleasant and always accompany with a smile. In summary: Best Lodge with the Best View
Cons: Maybe the room allocated to us for 5 pax is abit small but small matter to us
7.5 Good
Pros: - The staff were great, they were very nice - Food was great
Cons: - 20-30 min from the center walking - Ordered a double room with a balcony i got 4 bed room without balcony Anyway all was good except this two things
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hamid, the hotel manager was very kind and caring. We loved the facilities and and our room which was very big and offered an amazing view of the surroundings. Food was excellent!
Cons: Due to islamic rule, this hotel doesnt accept unmarried couples. As me and my boyfriend are not married, we had some argument with Hamid. In the end he was so understanding that he let us sleep in the room, but this was rather an exception. Be aware of those regulations and double check with your hotel as we didnt know about this when we booked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast-coffee/tea, fresh orange juice, pancakes, eggs, yogurt, fruit, plus bread with jam, honey etc. Also cooked us a delicious dinner on our first night. Loads of hot water for showers, good WiFi, and beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. Hamid looked after us really well, arranged a taxi pick up from Marrakesh and back to airport, organised a guide for a days walking in the mountains including lunch in a traditional Berber village, lent us walking poles and even escorted us to and from dinner at the nearby Kasbah du Toubkal.

Pros: Lahcen has been a great host. He was super helpful and friendly and would organize pretty much anything for you. He'd always make sure that I have everything I needed. I felt very welcome. He speaks a decent English, I didn't have any communication problems. His wife is a great cook. Breakfast is included, I loved the fresh bread she made every morning! The tahin and the couscous I had for dinner were delicious and I never made it to eat the whole lot. Nobody is gonna leave the table hungry! The house is a little bit outside of Imlil, but it's no big deal since the town is pretty small. I liked it a lot and would stay there again. Highly recommend!

Views of the mountains from the room and terrace were great and the shower always had hot water which was much appreciated after a day of walking
Cons: The wifi in the room was quite weak and there were no curtains/blinds for the window

Pros: The property host (Abdul) was amazing - very attentive to our needs and a superb cook. Made what was easily the best Tagine I tasted in Morocco, in ample quantities. Very friendly and gave a lot of good advice for walking around the village and the mountains. Though it gets very cold at night he provided us with more than enough blankets to stay warm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Abdoul was such a warm host. I hope to come back some dayand spend more time in this beautiful area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, helpful welcoming owner. Beautiful, peaceful location. Good suggestions for walks. Within walking distance of Imlil town centre where basic supplied of groceries can be bought and lots of options for food and drink. Also option to buy meals at Gite Tamsoulte, which was tasty and good value. We stayed in the top floor roof terrace apartment, wonderful views. Shared kitchen facilities are available in the basement, including fridge and hob. There is not direct access to a washing machine, but owner's family will wash stuff for you in their machine. Imlil/Atlas mountains charming. So peaceful and so different to Marrakech (where we stayed immediately before) and to London (where we are from).
Cons: Wifi wasn't working; owner kindly offered to share his mobile signal with us. This wasn't necessary because some of the cafes/restaurants in Imlil had wifi, so we stayed in touch that way.
7.0 Good
Pros: The price couldn't be better. The view is incredible and they are incredibly friendly.
Cons: Doors didn't close. Very loud talking even after midnight. Hard to sleep in these conditions.

Pros: The owner is one of the loveliest and most dedicated people I have ever met. The place Is cold which is not a surprise when you visit the mountains in January and he was as kind as to move us (me and other two guests) to his own house which was a bit warmer. If I'll have a chance to visit Imlil again And I sincerely hope so, I will do it in the summer and definitely stay here again. Thanks!
Cons: Get ready to be cold during the winter time.

Mustafa who is the owner of Riad Jnane treated us with upgrade for his best bedroom for the last night the view from the room is amazing! Definitely we like to come back!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mustapha was an absolute gentlemen, he exceed more than our expectations, views from bedroom was astonishing, views from the terrace were phenomenal!! Enjoyed our stay, staff were kind and friendly, gave all the support you need, any issues they would be there to help right away. The food was just as lovely aswell as the breakfast too. He made our stay one to remember and definately recommend others to do the absolute same, this was done through a recommendation by mohammed our tour guide when we visited atlas 2nd time in morroco, so now being our third trip we made sure we stayed in imlil which is in atlas and were glad we did g ahead for the experience. For us it has been one to remember but im sure it would be the same for others too. People are nice, environmental friendly, felt safe, good food, good views and also they also offer excursions so theres always something to do. Would highly reccomend to others too.
Cons: Nothing i can think of, only that when making trip to atlas or even morrocco itself around from jan till end of feb it is cery cold towards evening throughout the night so do bring a jacketand jumpers as a standby to have with u but during day the weather is lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are great.... large room with balcony, terrace with a view of the surroundings to die for!!! and has a large pool with a view. The Riad is set back from the road so is quiet. Good food and owner is very service oriented.....when I asked for a coke and he did not have one. He sent one of his staff to fetch me one.....will organize a guide for a hike or trek for you. We had our own guide. They kindly offered him in for tea as he was waiting for us to finish breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Great hospitality, beautiful views and very good food! Thank you especially Hassan, you are lovely and looked after us so well
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really helpful, food was lovely and the swimming pool is lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want to experience warm, authentic and generous Berber hospitality - this is the Riad to be! Our room (Casablanca Suite) was spacious and comfortable, in traditional style and had great views of Mt Toubkal from the room. We had a fireplace in the room which was lit for us when required. We had all our tajine dinners at the Riad and all were delicious. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The views from the terrace and public areas are AMAZING! The Riad has the best location for exploration of the Atlas Mountains. Moustafa, the owner, and manager of the Riad is one of the nicest, accommodative and most generous host you will come across with. The same warmth is passed on to the staff who are all friendly and lovely and can't do enough for you. Moustafa can organise almost anything as well - we had a couple of tours (first, a short trek and the other a drive through the mountains and villages) and both were excellent and good value for money. All in all, our stay at the Riad was just perfect and amazing. We felt like we were staying with a good friend that pampered and spoilt you. We cannot recommend the Riad highly enough!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful and Mustapha was kind enough to upgrade our room. Beds were comfortable, roof top views were magical. We enjoyed a wonderful tagine dinner and met some interesting fellow travellers. There were lots of seating areas both inside and outside. We were amazed to find that this is a very productive fruit growing area - so interesting to see how the farmers have overcome the challenges of the slopes.
Cons: I found the lighting a bit dim in the rooms. I think more attention should be paid to cleaning in the bathrooms especially. It would also be nice if the pathway leading to the Riad was clear of litter. However, I understand that this is not directly in the control of the Riad.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good views, nice pool( too cold for us). Nice staff. Near to waterfall, good excursion on foot.
Cons: Mattresses were old and soft. Sheets didn’t fit. Only 1 night, so ok.

Pros: Fantastic. One of the best places we stayed in all of Morocco. Very friendly atmosphere, cozy communal space. The room was perfect. Lots of space, hot shower, great heater in the room. Allowed us to pay with credit card at another location, but please try to bring them cash as its preferred and there is no ATM in imlil. Very accommodating people and fantastic property. They even gave us hot water bottles at night! Can't say enough good things.
