Pros (+) The hotel looks great on the website - very high-end, ultra modern. It is ideally located near the University of Iowa campus and in the heart of the downtown nightlife. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops are nearby. Parking is conveniently located next door (although the daily rate was a bit of a surprise).

The front desk experience was fine, but the attendant was seated behind a low desk (rather than the counter) which required the guests to be seated while checking in. We travelled to Iowa City for a wedding, and we were able to get into our room 4 hours head of check-in time in order to get ready for the event! The room was amazing and the bed divine. We will definitely be returning to Vetro on our next trip!
