Pros: very clean and neat: just what we wanted at a great value price
Cons: Nothing. The decor was not very modern but that was not important to us. We wanted clean and neat and simple.

Pros: The owners were great and knew a lot about the area. The motel was located in a nice central area. Parking was good.
Cons: The stairs were very steep, and it was quite old and run down. Beds were hard and it was very noisy on the highway. Bathroom was small. Everything was old for the price of the place and there was a musty odor.

Cons: There was a bug in the bed. It was SO gross. When we told the front desk person they just laughed it off and said that's never happened- yeah right. I won't be back.

Pros: Staff was very helpful and nice. They went out of their way to make the room accessible after hours since we were arriving after 10pm when their office would be close. Room was decent and a lot better then I expected for a motel and price.

Pros: I definitely liked the price-and the quality of the room for that price was far better than I would have expected! Water pressure was great for showers; while bath fixtures were old, they were clean and worked well. Lots of fresh, carefully done paint.
Cons: I can't think of very much wrong-I guess the tub drained kind of slow during showers, but that happens anywhere at one time or another; I told management when I was checking out. Some of the cable/satellite channels pixellated from time to time.

Pros: Loved the sauna, and the room was very clean, though very dated. Overall, a very good experience and we would definitely go back. Great sleep, comfortable beds. Could use a few more healthy breakfast items--more fresh fruit and cheeses would be great.

Pros: Location to hiking and waterfalls. Breakfast was good. One of the better hotels in the area but there aren't many choices of good hotels in the area to begin with.
Cons: I think the rooms and hallways were clean but the décor and feel of it seem less clean because of the wear, it will be time to remodel/redecorate soon.

Pros: The continental breakfast was nice--many choices including bacon, eggs, yogurt, Danishes, cereal, and the make your own fresh waffles. Seating areas were limited because there was a big group at the hotel that morning. Friendly staff. Clean, nice room.
Cons: The price of the room was a little steep but it was a weekend in summer tourist season.

We have stayed here before and liked it a lot. It was clean, the staff was very nice and professional and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Ironwood, MI.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, expectations were met. Breakfast was good - a lot of selections. Pretty much met the stars and review rating. There were deer next to the parking lot; they must be used to being in town as they didn't get spooked when we shut the car doors and trunk. Helpful front desk person. Even though we did not use the pool, it looked inviting.

Cons: The pool was shut down the whole time we were there and they didn't inform us of that a head of time. We probably wouldn't have gotten rooms there. That was suppose to be our relaxation time. Disappointed! Breakfast was not the greatest either.

Pros: the location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was warm and clean. easy access in and out. the pool and hot tub area are clean and nice. The only thing for improvement would be to step up the breakfast selections, the coffee is good

Cons: The last night of our stay the bed sheets were stained with blood and it was not from us. The blood stain looked like it had been washed, so the sheets should not have been used.

Cons: Walls are a bit thin. We could hear the kids in the next room late into the night. They had a birthday party which made the pool area inaccessible until late. Pool and hot tub are very small for the size of the hotel.

Pros: liked the easy access to the restaurant in the parking lot, they had great food & the bar was open until 11:00 pm.
Cons: did not like the road construction. Also booked a "Jacuzzi suite" but was disappointed when I got checked in and it wasn't a suite at all - just a king room.
