The rooms are really comfy, clean, everything works properly. The hotel is located quite central for the sightseeing and navigation, including Taksim station and İstiklal street. It’s easy to find, and the street is quite a calm one. Alexandra, the owner, was extremely polite and helpful, thanks to her for being such a nice one. Also, the guy on the reception was very nice to prepare us some tea at no cost when we came back late and wanted to warm up. I would definitely recommend staying here and will come back next time I’m in Istanbul.
Everything that I mention next didn’t affect our stay - I just mention some things that might become crucial for other travellers. The floor is squeaking as it’s wooden, so you would hear everyone going up and down to their rooms. We stayed on the upper floor (4th) with windows overlooking backyard and it was fine for us to crawl upstairs, but the place has no elevator - only a spiral staircase, so it might be challenging for others to reach the room. If you go to bed early, be prepared to listen to people partying on the basketball field outside if it’s Friday night (they finished by midnight or so).
You feel like home very friendly stuff and ready to help
All stuff are old, bad voice isolation
