Pros. Staffs were friendly. We were upgraded to kitchen suites, the rooms were clean and decent. We saved a lot from cooking for ourselves instead of dining outside. Housekeeping was done professionally also. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed. Absolutely recommending.
Cons. This was the only accommodation available as Jasper is completely booked during the summer. The staff need to be friendly and approachable. The check-in greeting was as if she didn’t want to work at all. We walked into the room, just outside the bathroom door on the carpet was someone’s bodily fluid. Clearly this room was used for something else because there were more residue on the sofas. Good thing we got our slippers and did not walk around bare feet. Housekeeping didn’t do a good job of cleaning at all! Even the glasses were dirty with lipstick and handprint stains. That’s why we ate out and got our own water bottles. The bed sheets had stains too. The whole experience in a Deluxe Suite was not worth $380! Will not be returning nor recommending.
Pros. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchenette, pool & hot tub, nearby outdoor attractions even in the off season. Amazing value for money, very family friendly.
Cons. High chair, but we didn't ask. Maybe they had one to borrow! Brought our own play pen for baby.
Pros. Beds were comfy
Cons. Hot tub too small for facility, definite draw back
Pros. Sawridge was an amazing property. Highly recommend on several levels - room comfort, amenities, pool.sauna, etc.
Cons. Conversely, the Marmot is a very dated property located next door. We knew what to expect but booked anyway. Fortunately, they were overbooked and moved us next door.
Pros. The outdoor hot tub was nice after a cold day
Cons. The hotel room smelled quite stale
Pros. I did not like anything enough to return there.
Cons. The reception staff seemed stressed, like they didn't care whether i was there or not. The facilities did not seem clean, outside or inside. The worst were the thin walls. After an 8 hour drive, i wanted to sleep, went to bed at 9. Next door, it sounded like a party was going on. There was no way i could sleep, a man talked incessantly, kids were shrieking, others laughing loud - it was impossible to sleep. When i called the front desk to ask for help, i was told that their time rule to quiet down was 11 pm, and that i should call back if by then things had not quieted down. Since i could mot sleep, i knocked on the wall shortly after 11pm, called the front desk again. I heard someone knock on their door (one could hear everything), and finally, shortly after 1am, the crowd left.
Pros. Good people, and understanding cleaning lady's , they will come back latter if I was still on the suite
Pros. Decor and furniture may be a bit dated, but a very clean and equipped room for small town Jasper. Met all our needs including a coin laundry for our stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definately stay here again if I had the chance to return to the gorgeous Canadian Rockies.
