was great all around. Staff was friendly and the car had an english navigation system, which proved to be a tremendous help. highly recommended.

Pros:

drop off was very fast and smooth.

Cons:

The transport by taking the shuttle bus from the airport to the pickup point was abit confusing. Will be better if there are signs showing where to go and which bus to board.

Terrible, they never informed me that the rental was through a partner with SK so you had no idea where to go and find the rental or which of the 20 buses to take to the off site lot. They allowed me to rent a 12 pack van on the site without mentioning I would need a class D international drivers license so they would only let us rent a 7 seat van. They also would not accept a digital license even though it was valid and I had lost my ID a week earlier. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and if I didn’t have a Korean speaker with me and someone with a Korean drivers license I would have just been SOL.

Impossible to find the Avis desk at Jeju airport. People in the terminal sent me to the rent-a-car center. People at the center said they’d never heard of Avis. Nice couple on the sidewalk outside arrivals helped me catch a taxi. Ended up doing just fine with public transportation thereafter.

Cons:

When I showed up at the Jeju airport, they had NO RECORD of my reservation. I showed them my Kayak reservation #: they had no record. The woman just laughed in my face and spoke absolutely no English. I even showed her the email from Kayak that had my reservation, and she still said no. Google Translate didn't help. I AM WAITING FOR MY MONEY
