Cons: When I arrived at BWI the systems were down. We waiting for 30 minutes for them to come back online, with no luck. You'd think they coudl just check out the cars and do the papaerwork manually, but they did not. I ended up going to budget.

Hidden Fees or False Advertising?
Pros: I liked the advertised price of $25 per day for a compact car, but that was far from accurate. Maybe I neglected to read all the fine print, but I don't think it was provided anywhere near the advertised price on Kayak.
Cons: After I extended my 3 day rental by two days, Dollar said they had to charge me the weekly rate which was significantly higher than the daily rate for some unknown reason. On top of that, Dollar added a mysterious list of unknown taxes and fees to the final bill. In the end, I payed almost $50 per day for a car advertised as $25 per day. I definitely feel like I got taken on this one...but never again Dollar!

Pros: Cute car, easy to drive.
Cons: When we dropped off the car, no one was at the site but a girl that told us to just leave the keys in the car and they'll email us a statement. Everything went as she said but I felt uneasy leaving a car, parked with the keys in it, without any supervision.

Absolutely the worst customer service; disorganize
Pros: That there was actually a car available
Cons: Service representative was rude. I did not receive the type of car I reserved but discontinued any resolution on that end as the customer representative was combative. No direction or available staff on the rental lot.

Great staff, good car, weak pick up/drop off proce
Pros: Really great staff to interact with; friendly and helpful. Car was a full size vehicle, very clean and in good operating condition.
Cons: Service was very slow in pick up; a long line with only one agent for too long a time; eventually a second agent appeared. On dropping off, it was not easy to determine the exact drop off location. It was NOT at the airport and being unfamiliar with the area, we drove around and around trying to find it.

Cons: The agent keep adding a lots of extra to my rental that I don't need. Now I have to take time to tell him what I don't need!
Pros: The folks at Budget were great. The system at Kayak was not.
Cons: I explained that I was arriving at BWI and needed a rental from there, and somehow you arranged for a rental at a completely different location - very disappointing - felt like bait and switch.

Great Customer Service
Pros: Car rental reservation apparently was for a location other than BWI, although I had thought I had specified BWI as the pickup location on Kayak when I made the reservation. They found a car for me at the airport location and I only had to pay $30 more for the weekend.

Pros: I was under the impression that the pickup was at the airport, it wasn't, I was charged and extra $50 but it was easy to switch reservations.
Airport and telephone bad - final rental place goo
Pros: I really liked the guy with whom we finally met and who picked us up from the hotel and made arrangement for us to get into our car.
Cons: Oh man, what a pain. I made the reservation online, not knowing too much about the Baltimore area. Our flights from Texas to Baltimore were delayed twice, so we didn't land until midnight - when it should have been five pm. Called the number for Enterprise and were assured they'd be open at midnight. Shuttle to Enterprise, then the woman at the desk pulled up my reservation number and quoted me a price more than 200% of my reserved rate. Eventually, we figured out I reserved from an offsite location and she wouldn't honor my quote, since it was at the airport location. $50 midnight cab to the hotel. Next day found my site, but they wouldn't come get me. Finally, found a closer Enterprise location - mind you, no one at Enterprise helped me with this - though I provided my hotel address. Eventually, this really nice guy on the phone assured me he'd come get me and cleared it all up - with my original quote. Great guy. Sorry I can't remember his name.

Poor Customer Service
Pros: Nice and simple as always using Enterprise, reserving the car went well through Kayak.
Cons: When I arrived, the person at the front desk informed me the car I was supposed to have was damaged and therefore, they needed to get a new car from another location. They said it was down the street and would take ~10 minutes roundtrip to go pick up the car and it would be ready by the time we finished paperwork. The person at the front desk told two of her coworkers to go pick up the car but one of them sat at his desk for ~10+ minutes because he was "finishing something". Overall, I sat in the office for ~45 minutes waiting for the car to arrive. Typically when I rent from Enterprise, the car is ready and it is nice and simple but this was anything but that. Also, they told me I received a "free upgrade" for the inconvenience but honestly, the car was nothing special at all and I have no idea how it was considered a "free upgrade".

Credit card insurance hassle and no toll transpond
Pros: It was nice that they offered a free bottled water.
Cons: I rent with Enterprise all the time in Chicago, and I always waive the insurance because I have coverage with my credit card. That's always been fine, and unquestioned. Here they made me wait while they called my credit card company to confirm the coverage.
All other times I've rented from Enterprise they have provided a toll transponder. I had left the lot before I noticed one was not provided. The inconsistency is frustrating, and given that there was a toll a very short distance from the lot it would seem to be a reasonable thing to warn renters of.

Pros: The service at the South Charles Street Baltimore location could not have been better. Jack was helpful, courteous, and had all the right answers. Highly recommend using this location for your downtown Baltimore rental needs. Also, the turn in at Baltimore went flawless and equally as impressed with the staff there. Great job Enterprise!

Overall poor experience
Positive: Location is convenient, and service was relatively quick.
Cons: Negative: Car smelled like cigarettes covered up with air freshener. Crumbs and other detritus between seats. They didn't accept the kayak brand car insurance so I had to purchase theirs which brought my $24/day rental quote up to $38/day- big difference. When I returned the car they tried charging me an additional $69 for reasons that were unclear. No.

Pros: Overall atmosphere was very awkward and uncomfortable. They wouldn't accept the insurance I purchased when I made the reservation via kayak so don't buy when you book. The car is totally uninsured you have to buy insurance from them so know what your coverage is otherwise if you damage the car, you'll be sorry. In the end I had no problems but it was a sketchy experience.

Pros: Car was not clean and had damage on exterior of car. Kind of embarrassing to drive. Made us walk through their garage in the cold dragging baggage with a baby rather than bringing car to us.
Cons: The facility was not at the airport. The facility was closed before I was even reasonably able to travel the 30 minutes from the airport to get there. They transfer you to their "sister" company at the airport and apply "airport" fees to hike up your reservation. They steal your money with a smile on their face.

Pros: The car worked.
Cons: They were rude when we picked up the car, they were incredibly rude when calling our insurance provider, whom we know personally. They were incredibly vague about the drop-off policy and threatened an abandonment fee when I even brought it up. I called corporate to resolve the issue and the people I spoke to, serveral people, we're even more rude, dismissive, and insulting. I was out in hold mid-sentence and transferred without any notification to the stor, which had no idea why I'd been transferred. I completely regret using them.
The car had an air freshener hanging from the nirror, but still smelled.

Pros: The car was decent but smelled funny, change the oil light was on.
Cons: Service was terrible, was promised unlimited miles before booking but it wasnt true, they said faster checkout with a major credit card but still had to jump through many loops to prove I had my own insurance even after acknowledging that my credit card would cover me, a way for them to try and sell me unnecessary add ons. Tried to explain it to the associate but she shrugged me off telling me it's policy, false advertising is what it is.

Safety issues !!!
Pros: Nothing to like in this place
Cons: The cars are Filthy inside out. they don't take time to clean them, i had to change 3 cars to finally agree on one. the first one had a bold tires, the second one had scratches all over the car but you can't determine the damages as the body is dirty. the last one was OK with a bad tire sensor that kept displaying an error every time you start the car plus a change oil message that kept prompting. If i have time i would report them to the BBB. Not worth the money i paid. VERY disappointing that kayak list them on their website. i use to trust kayak!
Pros: Compact car efficiently able to navigate city/suburban streets and parking.
Cons: The USB connection did not work. Hopefully this can be repaired for the next renter.

Pros: Did like how the car drove, it was very clean inside, the value was not worth the amount paid for a compact car.
Cons: I dislike at customer service, and i book threw Kyack, I was held up at customer service for over 2 hour trying to get the rental, and i dont know if it was Kayack or Hertz customer service that held up the process of the rerntal. I was very dispointed in the service.
