The external noise from the street and the internal walls were too thin!
Everything Breakfast is overpriced and should have been included in the tariff.
Great staff, available and helpful. Beautiful room , great view, great location. The breakfast buffet never varied even one item. Boring over a week stay. Also, a terrible fitness room, no weights, just a couple of cardio machines.
The lovely outside terrace - perfect for early evening drink Very expensive drink prices - one bacardi & coke = £11.00
Very friendly staff, location, private beach
hotel beautiful, great location, staff very helpful erratic poolside service, cost
Excellent service pretty hotel building spacious room great breakfast experience Ugly multistorey buildings just adjacent to the hotel small pool overall expensive
Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Concierge found a great motorboat trip for me an my two boys in a few hours bearing in mind that I asked for an evening tour at midday. The room was big and very nice. The swimming pool looked much better on pictures in a catalogue then in reality.
From your booking of the classic room, upon arrival, the room was very small. The staff upgraded us,for additional $, to a superior room, which was luxurious and had a magnificient view.
We liked very much the location of the hotell, the nice terrasse and the very nice beach restaurant, who served exellent lunches. The room was also very nice. We was not satisfied with the staff at the hotell - very bad service at the breakfast - and very unpersonality behaviar for the guests.
Beautiful location with access to the town on foot. Hotel was immaculate Restaurant in hotel was superb although expensive. All staff were helpful and suggested other dining experiences locally. Hidden costs of sunbeds etc were very expensive. During our stay restaurant was shut mon/tues, with no other dining option in hotel.
The hotel has great character and the sea view from our room was fantastic The room was very small and noisy.
Lovely hotel. Location is perfect. This is the 2nd visit to this hotel but this time we had our 3 month baby with us. This is not a child friendly hotel as has steps down to the beach so abit of a pain with prams & not too safe with the pontoon. However we did know this before we booked. A perfect hotel though for couples.
Great location and views of the sea, the reception staff (the receptionists, the concierge and the porters) were very welcoming and helpful. The building itself is charming. Of course, ridiculously overpriced, as everything in Riviera. The carpet in the room was not properly hoovered. The service at the breakfast was appallingly bad! The breakfast itself was very poor (for 24 Euro per person!). The lunch food and service was poor as well, for 14 Euros I got a small glass of warm and sour champagne. The food at lunch was just tastless. They charge you extra for Internet (in 5 star hotel! Even in most 3-star hotels free internet is a norm!)
It is beautiful, and we loved our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is romantic and lmfelt luxurious. The restaurant/drinks were very expensive. It would have been nice to get a glass of wine for a reasonable amount.
The hotel is very nicely appointed - it appears to have been remodeled over the last few years. It's off the main road, and is quieter that if situated in town. It has its own private beachfront. We arrived before check-in and and the staff, who were very nice and accomodating, allowed us to relax on the beach while waiting for our room to be ready. There is a piano bar with live music nightly. Everything is ala carte and rather expensive. Lunch at the beachfront cafe cost over $100US for 2 meals and 2 drinks. The hotels charges guests for use of the private beach. 4 drinks at the hotel bar cost over $75US, and Internet use costs over $30US per day.
Food was to expensive.
the location, the charm the noise (room on street side)
The service, the people, the conciarce, we woke up happy every day and enjoyed life the room an the hotell. Not dislike, but i would hav liked a coffe maskin in the room, Nespresso machin?
We like very much the staff and the atmosphere of the hotel as well as its position and decor. The service at lunch on the beach was sometimes very slow, probably because there were not enough staff. We did not think so well of the new chef in the main restaurant compared with the chef last year.
The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice. The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.
Historic building, beautiful lobby Rooms definitely need refurbishment
Very helpful staff; they even said "Have a nice stay" in my language that was amazing! Excellent localtion; place full of arts. You have a feeling that you stay in a museum but you really like it! Just spledid! Nothing, just perfect place.
Good taste and comfort all over + restaurant Chatecler - the best I ever experienced food/wines and ambiance. Nope.
Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Good business center with easy access. The carpet in the halls made it hard to move luggage around and did not fit the period and style of the hotel. Some of the art didn't suit the hotel ambiance. The carpet in our room was very worn and old. The bathroom had chipped sharp tiles and had not been updated which was a little disappointing for the price point. We were also disappointed that no one informed of the beach facilities available.
the interior of the hotel is exelent, very historical! The restoran is also very doog! Service of the reception and also reception manager was full boor. We planed to stay 21 day- and changed the hotel to another one on the 2 day of our stay!!!
Bad brekfast? bad plage, bad service, wery high preis - but only in this year
Perfect location, nice sea views, really interesting interiors. Some service points, at the reseption and consierge points.
The availability and efficiency of the staff. The quality of the infra-structure, atmosphere of the hotel and its location. The room bathroom could be equipped with more towel hangers. During breakfast it would be best if the service staff would not start cleaning the room (washing the chairs, etc.) while people are finishing their meal. It disturbs a bit the breakfast experience.
Location No parking facilities offered to guests, however there is a public parking with preferred rates overnight
We were made very welcome and the Hotel was very well placed for the park and shopping. The view was hardly inspiring.
convenient location, not too noisy
Location was excellent I wouldn't say it was 4 star. It was very basic and tatty in parts.
Location was good and hotel's decor fun and kitschy. Small room.
Staff is very friendly, breakfast was excellent, hotel in general (colours, furniture...) Room for breakfast is too small for so many people
I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was very central with easy access to buses and trains.
Near to the City, clean room Room was very smal
We got a good deal for the 'Privileged room' and we were given an upgrade to the next level as it was out of season and they had the ability to offer it to us. Was great to have a large room for a few days. Close to the beach and loads of shopping, restaurants, cafes and the stop for the hop on hop off tour bus. They had all the flyers of tourist things at the counter. Wifi was good. No TV reception for english channels.
Great location, very close to the Messena Place and the old town. Restaurants close by. Rooms are a decent size as far as French hotels go and for once the air conditioning actually worked. Staff spoke English and were helpful. We were only at the hotel for a quick overnight stay and didn't arrive until 9:30 pm so we didnt spend a long time in the hotel. Had breakfast in a cafe in the market.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Quiet location. Good food. Some way from town if on foot. No air-conditioning in the bar or common areas such as the lobby.
The staff - the decor was lovely.
Very nice quiet hotel just outside the hustle and bustle of Juan de Pins and Antibes, though still within walking distance of Juan's nice little centre. Staff was very friendly. Room was very nicely decorated as was the entire hotel and very clean. Breakfast is nice, but exactly the same everyday.
We like the hotel La Villa. Quite area. Swimmingpool and garden. Breakfast very good. Nice rooms. Excellent staff, service minded.
Very nice hotel with good views, private patios, and lovely decor. Breakfast a little overpriced for what it is. On a quiet street just a couple of blocks upa hill from town. Rooms are a little small, and parking is tight in their private lot.
Great quiet location near center. Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean rooms. Beautiful bathroom. Wi-Fi working fine. Nice parking place.
Clean, calm & central. Verynice staff I think the breakfast is quite expensive ...
ambience cleaning staff did not refil bathroom products when necessary
The hotel is very sentral, short way to the beach, but located in a very quiet area.
good stuff, good cleaning of the rooms, good location, quiet, free internet and parking small room, no restaurant, expensive breakfast
Atmosphere was acceptable
Staff very friendly and helpful Room was not very clean especially toilette , noise all day long.
Very warm welcome from the owner, clean room and very central to bars and restaurants in Juan les Pins, and also the beach. The wi-fi was broken when I visited which was inconvenient as the purpose of my visit was a business trip.
The girl who greeted us at reception went out of her way to be pleasant and helpful. We thought the room was lovely. No
Locality - close to beach (you must pay for Helios private beach) and close to all nightlife. In very popular quarter, but does there are no issues with noise. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Hotel not 4 star hotel - not impressed! Very old and in need of renovation. Air conditioning system put in very badly and left holes on the walls with a hole leading to balcony. Very noisy and very old system. Also, staff ignore 'do not disturb sign' - on two occasions, disturbed for a mini-bar check, despite the do not disturb sign. No swimming pool and private beach costs to swim!
Excellent location, close to beach, restaurants, train and buses. I liked the furniture on the balcony.
A great place to stay when you want to be at the beach but do not want to pay a premium. Most rooms have a balcony that gives you a view on the Mediterranean. The walk to the beach and the hotel-owned bar/restaurant there is under 5 minutes. The food there is quite good and if you are lucky, you can get a table 7 feet from the water. The rooms themselves are very charming and nicely designed. For a couple, having to share two twin beds that have been loosely pushed together is quite irritating. That is our only complaint, but it seems to be common in European hotels, so not specific to this place.
Location - the sea is pretty near; comfort furniture; shower facilities was good, lots of usefull stuff There was no music channel on TV
nice hotel, but just didn't feel like a 4star facility
The location is great. It is a 2 min walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. The keys to the room are heavy and we had trouble closing and opening the doors.
standard of room facilites, near to restaurants and beach swing doors in toilet.... don't ask!
We liked the room and environment very much; the gardens and pool area were beautiful and relaxing and the staff was caring, friendly, and personable. The hotel had elegant character and the location was terrific. The lack of porters was problematic and breakfast and drinks were overpriced for the area and other similar hotels, as was the parking fee. The room rate would have been much more reasonable had these extras not been exorbitantly priced.
it is beautiful hotel romantic it has charme it is near the beach and the town the suite room is fantastic with flowers on the terrace and cosy. the staf does not have much experience
This is really very nice Hotel. The staff is very friendly and very helpful (there are some Russian speaking). Rooms are very nice. The prices for breakfast and car parking are very high. Don’t use the recommended by the Hotel beach facilities (Les Pirates beach). This is the most expensive and inflexible in Juan-Les-Pins.
The hotel is charming, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast coffee is superb; pool a bonus. On arrival, the room I booked was unavailable due to rainwater damage the day previous. We were assigned an upgrade room at no extra charge with a smile. The lack of food/snacks mid-afternoon.
The hotel is really cozy and very well located. Big, clean room with all comforts. Great breakfast. Nice garden. Parking. Silence. Staff is kind and helpful. Will definitely go back. We paid € 350,00 a night. Maybe a bit pricey, but I guess it's because it was August.
Traditional french and very friendly, well postioned for town and beach.
Extremely attractive hotel and gardens. Very nice decor and very pleasant staff. Plenty of on-road parking. The continental breakfast is 10 Euros. The website states 20 Euros but this is for a more extensive breakfast; this should be clarified as they are not doing themselves any favours advertising breakfast as Eu20! The carpet in our room was badly marked with ( bleach ?) stains. This spoiled the look and feel of what was otherwise a very nice room. The basin tap was also loose as the tiles beneath it were broken. A shame really as otherwise this was the nicest hotel (we stayed at a total of 7 ) we used along the Cote D'Azur
The hotel gounds were beautiful especially the breakfast area and pool. The location was great as the hotel is far enough away from the shops, bars and restaurants to be quiet but is only a three minute walk away from the action of Juan Les Pins
We arrived at the hotel after 7 hours on the road and probably not in the best of humor at that point. Still, the owner and her staff introduced us to genuine French hospitality, which made all the difference in the world. For each day of our stay, the serenity of the place was unveiled as the oasis that it is, local to the excitement of Antibes, Juan les Pins, yet tucked away on a side street just a minute walk to the beach, shops and scores of waterfront restaurants.
Wonderfully quiet - an oasis in the middle of the madness of Juan les Pins. Very close to town and the beach.
Very comfortable spare bed for child free in parents' room.
Staff - Philippe, the manager on staff bent over backwards to make sure we were appropriately taken care of when a pipe burst outside our room. Older property that Marriott purchased, but needs a lot of renovations to truly live up to the 5 stars it has been awarded.
very high standards/friendly atmosphere too many children in pool - rules on no inflatables not been adhered to- paying for sun loungers a rip off
very convenient for resort ,the rooms were spacious bed very comfortable, helpful staff, goodsize pool we did not have breakfast here,(too expensive)
Nicely furnished and decorated room with a large, comfortable bed The size of the bathroom and lack of a bath ( I use Etap if I want to skimp) Plus the tone of the writing on the minibar made sure I wouldn't use it. Very counterproductive in a hotel that otherwise treats its guests with more respect.
Great pool area with helpfull attendant. Location was perfect. Front of house staff not very helpfull.
Location was great. Had everything you needed. cost of the breakfast .Pool not heated.
the price of the rooms considering the location was reasonable. Room very comfortable and modern. The cost of breakfast at 25 Euros per person was ridiculous. Go outside to a cafe and enjoy a French Petit Dejeuner for 5 Euros. My room although comfortable overlooked the area of the Hotel where the rubbish was collected. I did not like being woken at six in the morning to the sounds of the Garbage collection.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and a quiet hotel. The bar/restaurant were closed and there was no room service between the hours of our arrival and departture...so we were very hungry.
Room very nice. Outside pool Very Nice. Staff not great. very expensive. sauna broken whole 8 days.
The hotel staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Some days the room was not as clean-but most day it was and the cleaning staff also was accomodating.
Doesn't worth that money at all!!!
cleanliness & location
Central location and parking.
good location: 50-70 meeters to a free beach Front desk personal, but it''s France :) in all country is the same :)
Private beach Evening meal a little slow on a la carte menu
The staff were very helpful. We had hoped it would be as good as a UK Premier Lodge or better, but it was more basic and in need of some updating.
Very professional staff, brilliant room cleaning. Little bit noisy, as another side of closest railstation location, nothing more.
Nice position. Good breakfast. Good furniture. Missing minibar. Sometimes there was nobody at the reception desk.
the location was very good, very near to the beach and the train and bus station. the room is not very big but convenient, and the facilities are modern. the room also has a balcony. would recommend this hotel only for these reasons. however the staff was horrible, very unfriendly and unprofessional. every time we were asking for something (and we did speak French) they acted as if they did us a favour. did not want to help us for web check-in.
good value, clean and quiet
The location is brilliant. However, the room needed an up-date. Expensive for what it is and ridiculous that you have to pay extra for the use of sun beds and the swimming pool. Indeed, as mentioned by previous customers, the rooms need up-dating. Carpets were covered in stains and there was mould in the bathroom,
Great Beach with many restaurants within walking distance. Surcharges for many items that should have been included in the basic room rate.
Location Alleys, corridors and room in not clean at all.
Central location very convenient, near beachfront, great view from the hotel on the sea Given room at normal rate would be totally overprized for what it offers - the "special" price was on the high limit for what the given room offered: small room, worn carpet, mold on the bath tub. Daily parking rate high.
It's proxmity to the beach. Old fashioned, small rooms.
Good facilities, helpfull staff, great location on the beach with also stunning balcony views overlooking the sea.
Nice beach , comfort, cleanliness, pleasant services, comfortable facilities, pleasant staff Price
Superb position, with wonderful sea views and views in all directions. Nothing at all - this is a lovely hotel
children not allowed into swimming pool. this was not reported on the website, and we were very disappointed that we could not take our 2 year old to the pool with us.
The hotel is located next to the beach and in the middle of Juan les Pins The hotel is not anymore a Le Meridien-hotel and needs really a renovation. Maybe new owner will pick this up.
Location close to the sea front The Pool was very small and the sunning area was very small and could only take a small number of sunbathers - we had to instead use the private beach which cost 34 Euros
It was right on the beach front and a short walk to the two tour buses for Nice. The staff was very friendly, spoke many languages besides French, room service was excellent and very pleasant. No
Wonderful hotel. Excellent quality and service. Centrally located.
our room was facing the mediterrania, so beautiful. it is so close to restaurants in town and shopping.loved going to the casino after dinner. it was so clean and spacious (our room).
staff, service, breakfast, location - excellent, by the sea, good shopping, easy to get to railway station, old city, shopping streets by walk
Friendliness and courtesy of staff None
convenience to activities and shopping Bedroom carpets not properly hoovered, air con.not perceptily effective.
Large spacious room, robes, slippers, fabulous bath There was no blackout curtain... Luckily I brought an eye mask!
The majority of your staff could speak english very well. and they were always very friendly and professional particularily Olivier the concierge
Over all a great experience since arrival, very good complementary high speed wireless internet , great breakfast and wonderful bath and shower along with quality interior, worth every cent.
Firstly the location was fantastic, 10mins from the airport and 10 min walk from the old town. Our room was beautiful and big with a big balcony over looking the sea. Could'nt fault it.
Out of season we got a free upgrade to a larger room because it had separate beds. Staff was also otherwise helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and quite large. The setting of the hotel is nice. Buffet breakfast was acceptable but not of a very high standard.
This hotel is no frills but excellent. Alex at the front desk is a real pus for the hotel friendly and accomodating. They shoud make sure in cleaing the room to restock shampoo and shower gel everyday, did not do. All was fine except did not replace shampoo and douche gel daily.
Size of room and bathroom. Service.
Hotel is very central and conveniently located
great room , great location poor pillows but refurb is due soon
The hotel was well located, just abou half a Km through a park to the old town and even closer to the public beach. Room was as big as we wanted; in fact they upgraded us on arrival at their decision. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and of good quality. Some information from staff proved inaccurate, fortunately we found things out for ourselves. Future visitors should note that , if arriving by train, the station is about 3/4 Km away and an easy walk - taxis charge 15 Euros for this short trip!
Free wi-fi; a safe garage for the car, a good choice of very good restaurants at walking distance
The room (nice and spaciouse) and sea view Very few staff, had to wait 15 munutes at bar tender was also waiter and was also serving clients in restaurant. The decoration on lift doors and carpet where very dated, needs refurbishment.
Service is good Location is not very clear on the internet site
Comfort, location, quiet
small bathroom without practical furniture!
Nice place, nice staff
I like the location the staff very not helpful at all ,had to ask 5 times at breakfast for hot water in order to have tea
Overall style of the hotel and its superb location No parking - in a very busy and complex town
Staff were friendly, the room was spacious and the location was perfect.
Staff was really friendly
The hotel staff were very nice and provided lots of advice on how to move around, what to visit etc. Room was very clean. There is no carpet and it is all white tile which made it look very bright and clean. The sea view and sunrise in the morning is worth every penny spent. Compared to many of the hotels we visited in France this was the best overall experience.
Renovated rooms on the 5th floor are fabulous, soundproofing is great. Location is excellent, staff is well trained and friendly.
Location The noise from the road in a sea view room The breakfast far too expensive
The hotel is in a superb position on the seafront, the staff are extremely courteous and efficient. Furnished very well in a beautiful French style and very clean.
Staff most helpful
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant hotel, easily accessible to local beaches and towns. The use of the word "bungalow" was done with some degree of poetic licence! (However the room was comfortable non-the-less!!)
Very clean, a good pool, a good situation but a car is necessary. Good access to cote d'azur towns. Beaches too crowded. Breakfeast in a lovely setting. Our room was rather dark
This is an excellent value in an expensive area. It is not on the beach but you can walk to the beach and the beaches are small but beautiful. Staff and ownership were very accommodating. The family bungalow works very well for a family of four.
Friendly staff. Ample parking and a small but nice pool. Good breakfast, but expensive at 12 euro.
Very quiet and pleasant. Kind and helpful staff. Our superior room was very simple (spartan).
The pool was nice, though it could have been open later. Access to the beach was excellent, though the description made it seem a bit closer than it was. The breakfast was very expensive and not worth the cost, and the option of in-room Internet would have been nice. There was also a prohibition on eating or drinking in your room unless it was from the mini-bar, not that they could enforce it, which just seemed like nickel and diming guests.
excellent information and guidance from reception staff, great location (not on the beach but very close to, and interesting surroundings, good for family walk and stay) not applicable, all was good or excellent
Location is great, walking distance to Garoupe beach and Antibes centre. The pool is rather small but very nice and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice cosy terrace. The rooms are slightly dated and could do with a refurb but everything is really clean and well maintained. We had an extra bed in the room that didnt leave much floorspace.
We stayed at this hotel in early September '10. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The pool area is lovely and the grounds are well maintained. It was located in a very peacefull setting but a bit far from restaurants. You definately need a car when travelling to this hotel. The rooms and bed were quiet small.
Nice quiet location with its own pool far enough away from the flight path into Nice yet close enough to all the amenities in Antibes just a short drive away, as well as an easy drive along the coast road to the airport. Arrangement of loungers around the pool means only a few are in the sun in the afternoon, so you may not get a sunny one if it is busy.
Very accomodating, not too big and felt personal. The service is exceptional and the spa is a must-do.
The Incredible architecture, fantastic staff and superb rooms.
You can hear everything in the corridor. not good service at all. horrible breakfast
Beautiful hotel, good location, very friendly and efficient staff. The hydrotherapy pool is lovely
The hotel seems over-rated. It gives you the feeling of being old or overused or at least not well taken care of. Beyond the intention of design...some of the fittings seem...cheap... Plus, the idea of having the bathtub in the room could be special, but it is not practical. The lights are also not thought in a practical way...
Food and Hotel were gorgeous. WiFi 7E for 30 mins in reception! No WiFi in bedrooms. Should be free in bedrooms.
Beautiful design, good location for shopping The air conditioner didn't work well, it was very hot when we arrived at evening time. I called the reception two times, they promised to come and do something but they didn't, so we suffered the very hot room even in autumn time, +17 degree outside. They only fix it in the next morning.
the roses all around the place no service after 12 a.m. :(
great hotel ,great design , nothing
Great location. Friendly staff. great room. All extars very expensive - eg breakfast or to have a drink in the bar (22 euros for one cognac !)
Nice adjacent restaurant. Clean room with an bit odd, but original, design. Clearly visible that the hotel was renovated last year. Noise level in the room was a bit high due to the busy road outside.
The staff "you are great" fun atmosphere, nice pool, good breakfast, wonderful bar to relax in. Carpets need to be replaced.
Very clean, very friendly. Room upgraded for no extra charge.Bar and swimming pool area all new.
good facilities, swimming pool was great to swim after a day on local beach, close to town centre and restaurants and beach. no
Small and very friendly hotel. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Very nice pool and bar area. No hot or cold drink facilities in room.
friendliness of staff ; heated swimming pool price a bit high but that's not unusual in Juan les Pins
location is very central, bar and pool staff very friendly Our "superior" room was not superior at all... very small, no room to store our clothes, very tiny window with a view on the parking, the carpets were very dirty, the plugs were torn from the walls, no enough chairs for everybody around the pool, the manager was not nice at all...
Excellent location, comfortable pool chairs small room
The swimmingpool was nice, together with the restaurant area. It was overprized for what it offered - the three-bedroom is too small, looking at the parking and the third "bed" was just a sofa-bed.
Two of my sons stayed at the hotel - not me personally - but they clearly had good accommodations and found the hotle and staff very much to their liking - and I liked it because of the relatively affordable cost in Juan! No
Very bohemian atmosphere owing to the decoration style. Proximity to beach. Room very cramped, balcony too narrow, and en suite clearly an afterthought as it was the size of an average wardrobe
Stephan was the perfect host and welcomed us as though we were long lost friends. He was extremely helpful in recommending how we could use all modes of local transport so that we could see the surrounding points of interest.
Friendly owner, location Rooms on small side. Parking not easy
Great dtaff- friendly
Stephan and Nina were perfect hosts who ensured we were very welcome Being English we wanted to be able to make a cup of tea in our room and couldn't.
The ambience of the hotel and the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts, particularly Stephan who is a very decent and considerate hotelier. The rooms, particulary the one's with more of a sea view, are a little "compact" shall we say, particularly for a longer stay. We moved to a room with a terrace (which is more of a small balcony really) but the room was a little more roomy and we stayed for 7 nights on the back of this.
Great location, wonderful host and hostess made for a most enjoyable stay.
The total ambiance and its very near the great beach Room we stayed at was not that big
Close to the beach. Nearby parking lot. The room was very small, no closet space or shelves, very small bathroom too. The train tracks are very close to the hotel, the train can be heard at all times.
The staff/owners were very nice and a pleasure to have met.
Well designed rooms. Very interesting is location of shower ( on corner of room), somebody it may dislike. Far from center of Antibes, too far for every day walking.
We paid €100 a night for this hotel and it was incredible value for money. We had a huge terrace, a separate lounge and kitchen and bedroom and bathroom! The hotel staff were very nice - we were walking to the train station with our luggage and the owner gave us a lift! The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the main strip of restaurants and about a 10 minute walk from the train station so the position isnt ideal. Also, I was searching for a hotel in Antibes and this hotel is in Juan-les-Pins, so be aware about location!
All the staff were really nice and we had a brillent stay at this very comfortable, luxurious hotel. The only thing that was lacking was a pool but this isn't a big deal as the beach is a short walk away. Can't wait to return with our two kids. We loved it....
Excellent staff and compared with the competition in the area, excellent value for money. We had a standard bedroom but it was ample in size and well planned with an outside seating area. The hotel breakfast which has to be taken in your room was very good. Our room was just up from the reception area and opposite the kitchen where breakfast was prepared. As a result we were woken each morning with the sound of staff preparing the breakfasts. Only a minor issue though.
clean aparthoel in quiet residential area within easy walking distance to amenities friendly staff
Truly great value for your money. Our suite included: private courtyard, fully equipped kitchenette, two LCD TV sets (one in the bedroom), free WiFi access. Kind, helpful and discreet personnel. Parking was not a problem.
Friendly , willing to help and giving gsm number if anything goes wrong . No easy table for breakfast. You need gps to find hotel .
The breakfast, the staff and the cleaness of the room It was difficult to find
Clean- modern-comfortable- quiet- close to main facilities. Breakfast was better than usual contintental. Staff where lovely and very helpful.
Large & comfortable room with a large sun terrace/balcony and kichenette. Good value at discounted rate but would be too expensive at 200+Euro. 5 minutes walk to the beach. No lift, restaurant or bar. Difficult to find. It is at the west end of the Vieux Ch. De La Colle, which is split by a pedestrian walkway.
Everything in the hotel was practically perfect. Staff was really friendly and even gave us a lend of a buggy as our was lost at the airport. Nespresso machine, flat screen and Ipod dock were there to make our stay. Location is perfect, around 15 minutes walking from public beach (but is a beautiful walk!) and well located close to a park, restaurant, and shops. The staff, and especially the owner, were friendly and genuine. We had no issues with the noise, only few minutes of capoeira every night around 10, but even our baby girl was sleeping well with that! guys, i recommend this big time. I wish all people working in this business would follow this model of genuine customer care
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location! Our favorite restaurant was just across the street. Well equipped room, suited for family with teenagers because of free internet acces, 2 flat screen televisions, and I pod docking stations. Big plus for Nespresso coffe machine. Comfortable room with nice bed, and nice shower as well. Modern rooms with nice design. Will defenately stay here again if we go to Jean Les Pins again:-D The elevator was damaged, and even if it has been functioning it only went to the ground floor:(
We walked in and turned right around..no bed (pull out sofa) and had a cooking oder beyond explaination....we booked a superior double room, as mentioned, no bed, room small, bathroom small...in write up no mention of these kinds of flaws..aimed at very budget tourists or backpackers...enough said
comfort of the room, location are very good. Hotel Stuff is very very helpfull. Free parking options very near the lift only goes to the first floor, if your room is on a higher floor, you need to carry your stuff
the location-in the middle of everything, th ehelpful staff-soar knee and man helped me with bags as we were on 2nd floor, the huge tv and dvd player, the balcony, slippers and great shower the lift was broken and i had problems with my knee so walking up and down 2 flights of staires took me ages!!
The staff of this hotell is so very nice och caring that I must recommend this hotel to every people! They made our stay to something special! Everything was very good!!
It's location. It was located in between the two coasts of Antibes and much of the area was within walking distance. I feel that it could be cleaner.
The owner is a very friendly helpful man. It's not very clean
Pleasant and personal owner welcome, spotless and comfortable room, reasonable value for money. Recommended highly. A little noisy being on a busy road
Very good staff Terrible room, tiny bathroom with tiny shower, terribly nolsy on main road.
The central location near Antibes Upon arival, the owner of the hotel did not inform us that the breakfast was not included in the price. The rooms are very small, little comfort, and very warm as well as a bit noisy. The bed was not changed every day. The spa was not very clean. The owner tried to overcharge at check-out EUR 75. Additionally, the hotel was not completly booked, during check out and at the request to stay in the room till 17.00, the owner offered that we pay an additional day. Very Poor service in general and over priced. I would not reccomend this hotel at all.
Excellent and friendly experience as usual, a small issue with the wifi was solved quickly
