Beautiful house and nice staff.
It is an old house so you can hear everything that is said next door, people going up the stairs and such. Too expensive for what it is.
Very good location and near the train station Nice room, bigger than most in Japan for that price
The staff was really nice and helpful. It was a very cold and rainy day and the place was offering hot tea and a well functioning heating.
It was a bit expensive for being a hostel, but you will not find a better standard for less money in Kamakura
Nice small guesthouse, nothing fancy at all. Traditional Japanese architecture with mats and sliding doors. Shared bath is fine. Weather was still moderate when we were there, not sure about in cooler temperatures.
Lovely staff. Great style rooms, loved the themes with the animals. Really was beautiful to look at, just not as comfy to stay. Absolutely great location. Right by the station. Easy walk to the Great Buddha. So many good places to eat too. Great value for its location.
Difficult to find. Kinda hidden, we did walk past it! Could hear everyone in the place - we stayed in the Crane room. When we left our luggage the next day after checking out, it was just left in the hallway. When we returned no one was at the desk. Just felt a little like they weren't secure, however everyone is super friendly out there I guess it just doesnt happen. Plus like I said, you could walk past the place if it wasnt for a little sign out front.
