4.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: room, food
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great central Kampala location. It’s on the edge of the red light District but that causes absolutely no problem at the hotel. The rooms circa 125 - 128 at the front overlook the Sheraton gardens which are very nice and are away from the Rock Garden that can be noisy at night if you are closer. Staff were all excellent.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Room service (cleaning) Shower Food menue in rotation restaurant
Cons: 1. Personal tries to put their nose into business related meetings. E.g. meetings on parking lot about sale of motorcycle was 'closely followed' by stuff. On the other hand the manager did not allow, that the receiption is forwarding interested buyers to room. 2. On last day there was no water bottle in room, receiption answered on 11pm, that there is no water possible till 6am, except for payment. 3. Rotation restaurant has bad white wine on menue. 4. Sundays the business center (printouts, copies,...) Is closed.

Cons: Internet inconsistent

Pros: Massage Parlor
Cons: View of golf course
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic pool for training in and just getting refreshed and that whole area of the hotel is very relaxing as you look onto the golf course; breakfasts were the best I have had in Kampala and the rooms are very large. It was a very good venue to check into for a weekend of hard work on the laptop.
Cons: Lighting in the rooms is not great; the aircon keeps the air fresh but not particularly effective at cooling the room; hot water was a bit erratic.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent varied breakfast and the location and the ambiance was perfect

Pros: Nice and clean room.
Cons: Bad location + huge traffic jams= a lot of stress In the bath there are only soap, shower gel and shampoo. Nothing more. Extremely expensive in room dining. TV practically doesn’t work (4-5 channels only) The staff at the desk wasn’t able to provide with simple invoice for the room!!! Left without it. Hope to get it by email. Will think twice and even more before booking again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Air con not consistent Leaks
9.0 Excellent
Pros: More clear quality TV channels needed.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were quite spacious.
Cons: The hotel staff all require serious training. From the receptionists yo the restaurant. The breakfast is a disgrace and should not be served if they can’t get it right. The rooms were very nice except for the dark shower and cold Water. It’s clear that significant investment was made on the infrastructure and they forgot that trained staff is necessary to run the place. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience despite the beautiful rooms.
4.0 Okay
Pros: pace was clean
Cons: The location was terrible, it was like like a five star alcatraz prison, the place looked deserted, you have to go through soilders before you reach your hotel. Got charged US$100 for doing a small bag of laundry 2 trousers, 4 tshirts, and 4 underwear- day light robbery. Hotel food so expensive. not staying thre again
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, centrally located and a landmark. Staff very helpful, especially in use of Board room.
Cons: Some services were limited, probably due to low patronage.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The morning breakfast was excellent. The buffet meals in the evening were superb and the staff were very welcoming
Cons: The showers were awful. The cold/hot water arrangement was challenging. This is an area which was of great concern. We didn’t have any slippers in the bathroom so if you can remedy the above I will definitely come back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the friendliness of the staff and the close vicinity of the golf course in the middle of the city, which made it much less noisy. Even the restaurant with an excellent chef for breakfast and dinner was well above standard.
Cons: -
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and ready to assist to make me comfortable. Good food
Cons: Drinks are a bit expensive
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is great, rooms are a bit old but clean, breakfast is really nice
Cons: I booked a ‘queen room with city view’. The first room they gave me was facing a wall about 1m outside the window. I complained and got a room on the ground floor facing the driveway. I tried to get what I booked and paid for, but the staff was very unfriendly and not accommodating at all. I just hit a wall. A big zero in terms of customer service. The Marriott name unworthy
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed my stay - the room was large, very quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff. I specifically requested a quiet room & was given one (upper floor overlooking the conference centre at back). The breakfast buffet was superb and even included a cappuccino. (Usually you have to pay extra for this). The room service menu was also very good and did not include an extra charge. Food arrived exactly as ordered and promptly within 10 minutes of ordering. Generally found the service and management to be of a high standard!
Cons: The shower has been designed without a door - so water tends to flood the floor in the bathroom, which can make it slippery and hazardous. There is no towel rail for hanging your towel. Would be useful especially if you don't want to use the same one again & to save the planet! Would also be nice to have a bar fridge in the room to keep water cool.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: good coffee, omelets and tasty pineapple.. nice ambiance of restaurent,
Cons: times noisy
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Food and staff
Cons: No minibar

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fruit and hot items at breakfast
Cons: More local fruit like avocado jack fruit and mango available . Turn on lights in dining area at night, too dark.
7.0 Good
Pros: The place was well located for a conference at Serena, and the breakfast was pretty good every day. The beds were comfy, and the rooms are quite large. The staff was pretty friendly.
Cons: The hot shower was not good - with any water pressure the hot water turned quite cool and kept me shivering. The WiFi only works in the main lobby, and is erratic even then, which means doing work in the hotel room can't happen if you need internet, which very much upset me (as I was there for a work conference). Lastly, the maid service was not great - they wouldn't refill the toilet paper even though it was finished, and towels had to be asked for about half of the days.
4.0 Okay
Pros: - The staff was friendly and helpful. - Room size is very big and spacious. - Nice coffee for breakfast (you can order cappuccino etc at the bar).
Cons: - I had an apple in the room that was partially eaten when i got back from work. Initially i thought the cleaning staff must have been hungry, but i have than subsequently found mouse poo in my luggage which explained what had happened... I'm kind of glad i didn't see the mouse myself and only realized after I had left. I probably wouldn't have slept well knowing. - Internet didn't work properly one of the days i stayed there.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The livingroom space was lovely and was able to accommodate guests Kitchen utensils were sufficient and enabled me to cook my own food The service was great and the staff made every efforts to resolve a situation where possible. The location was convenient as it's in the city
Cons: The decor was abit outdated and probably needed a revamp Bathroom was massive, but old and had alot of wear and tear. Permanent stain Mark's were all over the bathtub On more than one occasions the wifi will disconnect in the evening and wont come back till the morning- frustrating as I heavily relied on the wifi to call out and receive calls
6.0 Good
Pros: The apartments are very big and quite comfortable. The location of the hotel is in a safe area and in walking distance from the centre of town. The personnel was very kind and tried their best to help. Also, we were allowed a late check-out on departure day at no extra cost and even gave us a room to change into travel clothes.
Cons: The building is really ran down, especially the atrium. When it rains, you can't sit there because it's leaking everywhere! Also, the bathrooms need a serious make-over. They are uncomfortable and not always in good working order.
4.0 Okay
Pros: central location
Cons: from the window you can only see other windows, pretty close the kitchen is poorly equipped, for example, no forks The restaurant is terrible, both the food quality and service wifi didn't work most of the time
5.0 Okay
Cons: Bad breakfast service
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast area is very nice and the vibes are good. The gym area is better than in other hotels in Kampala. The rooms are very spacious and the aircon is quite silent.
Cons: The safe didn't work and never got fixed. They tried to bargain us into prices higher than list prices. We booked a room for 3 people incl. breakfast since it was cheaper than a smaller room for two people - but were denied a third towel and of course also breakfast for the third person. The worst: Wifi didn't work at all, so we had to use our mobile data. Unacceptable for a conference hotel and very annoying for us being there for business. Gym courses recommended to us by the trainer didn't even take place the next morning "because it's January". One night the water didn't work for several hours which was crucial for us since we had to shower before leaving for a business meeting. We weren't allowed to use another room but were directed to the gym area with mixed showers, and asked to take our own towel. All okay for a hostel or guesthouse, but not here. No signs of an apoligy or less a compensation for the inconveniences. Terrible value for money.

Cons: The front desk team kind of took there time to check me in, I have a feeling they looked at me and felt I couldn't afford to stay there.

Pros: Lots of traditional and European food. The rooms were big. The grounds were very beautiful and big
Cons: It was crowded and the promised balcony was very tiny.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The cleaness of the place
Cons: The parking lot..very small space..
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Because when you use the credit cards with them they will steal your money they scan it with a scanner and you wouldn’t know and how but you will see a transaction from your card without you approval
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The setup and tidiness of the place. Really lovely place to just come and unwine. You see Uganda is in different light.
Cons: The hidden costs, the restaurant menu doesn’t income VAT and you pay before checkin. Let me enjoy the pay you. Most nice places are like that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the property, the weather
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff helpful and friendly, room was clean and quite big food ordered from terrace restaurant was very good. but a bit pricey. nice area down by the lake and the service there was good also,
Cons: Some things on the write up of the hotel were not there instance needed cash according to the write up there is a ATM on site but there is NOT!! and there exchange rate for changing money is poor, Check out was very slow and long process, There is no executive lounge as portrayed in the write up, walking around the place is quite nice but was unable to use the pool at weekend as over crowed from people from outside coming in at week end so was disappointing, no facility was made for residents.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location is excellent and units were a decent size. The Sunday morning street market just 100 metres or so along Kampala Rd was an unexpected treat.
Cons: There's no elevator access from the basement car park. A Christian group has leased much of the third floor of the building and conducts noisy church services each day starting early afternoon.
5.0 Okay
Pros: location is okay. Taxi's and Boda Boda in front of the hotel.
Cons: The noise of the traffic. The locks on the doors. The smell of the diesel engine for the electricity. The hotel is really unhealthy if you stay to long.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Central, roomy, friendly staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The space and facilities plus gym access was a bonus
Cons: The flat iron was a challenge to get every now and then..
7.0 Good
Pros: Everything else
Cons: We liked everything: location, clean, good facilities EXCEPT the lack of air conditioning which turns the apartment into a sweat box. It's very airless with little air circulation even with the windows open. They do fumigate the place but there's no mosquito net which made my husband nervous to leave the windows open overnight. The two fans provided helped but it's really not enough...
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: No privacy. Workers just open your room anytime as they wish

Pros: Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating

7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms were excellent - big and with all the comforts. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location was good for our purposes.
