The beds were actually some of the most comfortable I've slept in as far as Japanese hotels go.

No food nearby and it took a long 30 min walk to get there, after taking a bus. Every restaurant on the way wouldn't serve me and when asking for help from staff, they said I would have to call and weren't willing to help further. Didn't eat dinner that night and the hotel doesn't even sell instant noodles or anything, only drinks and icecream!
