Cons: Cab driver was not good. Always insisted foecextra money

Pros: Staff was very nive and helpful but unfortunatelly they could not address and resolve the exisitng problems as well as those arising from the lack of adequate management .

Cons: The price per night was on a very high end ($200 per night) but the room I finally stayed in on the fifth floor (had to change the first room due to the drilling and hammering noise in the walls) had a very worn out feel, with a very ugly view of construction site and accompanied by the construction noise bellow my windows that lasted until after midnight and wouldnt stop until several interventions; almost non existing wi-fi so I couldnt work in the room at all; got stuck in elevators twice due to power outage as clery no generators in the hotel; dirty mugs in the room; a very late cleaning service for the room and for which I finally had to ask for etc. etc. In my opinion, hotel was not able to provide the quality of the stay for the price they charges - it advertises itself as a conference centre but it was not able to properly function when in a full capacity or to provide the quality of not just a room but even of some basic elements - the hotel toilets were most of the time not a pritty site and lacking main elements like toilet and hand paper. And finally, they were not able to accommodate my leaving early due to the family emergency and still charged me for the two nights that I couldnt use. Staff was very nice and polite and tried to compensate for the lack of overall good management of the hotel by appologising all the time and offering small discounts but unfortunately, they were not able to provide timely and satisfactory solutions and services for the overall stay.

Pros: The location and food was excellent! The staff were polite, concerned and very helpful. The wifi was good and the water hot every day during my 6 nights there. In a rather quiet part of Thamel, which was also pleasant. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and some local attractions.

Cons: The bathroom and towels could be cleaner.

Pros: Location is perfect, in the middle of Thamel, the tourist center in Kathmandu. Room was clean and spacy. The shower is hot. Personnel is kind and they are glad to give service. Airport pickup service is free.

Cons: Allthough it didn’t bother us, the hotel has no elevator, which may be a problem for some people.

Cons: - furniture a bit old - bus prices to Besisahar -start of Annapurna Circuit - too elevated (1300 NPR at Eco Hotel, 600 NPR at the bus station)

Pros: Very friendly, professionell and helpful staff. Complementary airport shuttle from or to the airport. The location and overall an enjoyable stay. Felt very welcomed and taken care of.

Cons: No lift, but most people come for hiking anyway :) The facility would benefit from a lighter color.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and go out of their way for you. The best momos in Kathmandu are right next door!

Pros: The staff were amazing and very helpful for planning a trek!

Cons: This is very picky but the wifi didn’t reach my room and one of the taps on the sink didn’t work.

Pros: I stayed there for more than 30 days. The staff were very friendly. They guided me for day to day needs and also helped me to visit popular tourist locations and temples. They have guided me very well for my trip to Pokhara for a couple of days. I would like to thank Mr. Sudhin, Mr Kumar and other staff members. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Good location that it's convenient to find restaurants and go to the spots. And the staffs are really nice that they make you feel at home. It also has a cafe with 10% discount with your room key. I enjoy the coffee there very much. I have stayed there for 4 nights in total because no other places can be better than it because of the reasonable price and perfect service.

Pros: The chimney restaurant is an asset to the hotel. And Anil the waiter is amazing - such a credit to his manager.

Cons: The actual hotel was appalling. Worst experience we have ever had. Construction going on from 6am to 8pm every night of our stay, rude reception staff, bugs in the room and power cuts every night.

Pros: Travel agent in-house was spectacularly helpful. Best hotel in KTM in my opinion.

Pros: Buffet Breakfast had a good choice of continental and Indian. The staff even offered to get fresh juice from the kitchen. And then the Chef comes out and asks if all was good and if one needs anything else !! Super service.

Pros: Extremly helpful staff. I came for a visa run only for one night and got a hotel pickup. I arrived to a pouring rain and the hotel staff came with an umbrella for me and led me the way. I got inside and was completely dry. Same thing happened on the way back to the airport the morning after. Didn't get to see the city much but from a stroll at night seemed like the location is prefect- very quite and serene but a very short distance from the middle of things.

Pros: Puja and Dil are fantastic people. They helped us in preparation for our trek. The room was small for a couple but ok for a short stay. There are balconies and some space to sit outside rooms. The rooftop is lovely and the food very tasty. They have laundry service which is great. Dil's son picked us from a place as we could not find the hotel and he accompanied us to the tourists bus on the last day which was great. He also welcomed us with a mango juice which was very nice. Thank you for everything.

Cons: Bedsheets althought washed, it had lots of unpleasant stains. We just used our sleeping bags. It is situated in a residential area and by a temple so it becomes very lively from early in the morning. Barking dogs at night.

Pros: The location is excellent! Near the bus stop for Pohkara, and walking distance from the shops of Thamel. But also far enough from the noise of the busy part of Thamel. The owners, Dil and Puja, are such a lovely couple! They made sure they met us and spoke with us so they could help us plan our trip. Dil picked us up from the airport and even gave us a necklace of marigolds - we were touched by that :) Both of them recieved us warmly and helped us out with everything - from getting a good exchange rate to even personally taking us to our bus when we left for pohkara.

Pros: The owner of the place is very welcoming and friendly. The kitchen on the roof is a great place to admire the view on Kathmandu and to meet nice traveller fellowship.

Pros: Such helpful and friendly staff. Helped me organise trip to Pokhara making sure I take the right bus by going to bus station with me. Easy to find. Located far from noise of main street. Great view from top terrace. Had a great one night stop over there and good rest after long flight journey. Thank you Metro Eco team.

Cons: Beds so hard and so much noise - impossible to sleep. Dirty bedding and towels. Toilet leaks when you flush and bathroom very poor. No hot water.
