Nothing was running in the waterpark and no one disclosed this at check in. Staff was incredibly rude. Dirty sheets. Dirty coffee filter left in the machine. Tub did not drain. Ice maker broken. When requested help from staff told to deal with manager in the morning. 45 min check in. 45 min check out. All of my money was refunded after quite an argument. Complete BS! Everything.
The staff was very friendly and courteous. the deal I purchased did not include water tickets, it cost another 60$ when I got there, the hotel is dated and needs some repair work done on the rooms. Overall it was decent but was NOT happy with the water park passes not being included for such a high price.
The female staff at check in were super nice. The fact that everything can be heard in this hotel no matter where you were. We were on the first floor and had to listen to the kid in the room above us run back and forth across the room and jump/fall from 7:30am until they left for the day and then listen to it again at night when they came back until well after 11pm. I called management, said they would take care of it and it continued for the rest of our stay. HORRIBLE!! The bathroom shower curtain rod was just hanging by a thread and ready to fall off. The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to explode every time we turned it on and there was a huge chunk of ceiling missing where the fan was at. Not to mention that I somehow de-magnetized our room keys and while I was getting them fixed my husband was able to take a credit card and open our door just by slipping it into the side of the door. How wonderful that none of our belongings were safe the entire time we were there! This place needs to fix their stuff. I wouldn't come back again. Not worth the headache. Take some of that $$ we spent and put it to some good use.
The facility is dirty, has poor renovation quality, and everything was closed down. No restaurant, no bar, half the water park was closed. The water park air hurt my lungs to breathe because the chlorine and chemical levels were off. Very unhelpful staff. Called down for more blankets which they never delivered. Tried to not give us water park passes even though they were included in purchase. Pretty horrible all around.
Check in and out staff were friendly. No wifi available even though it was advertised as free. Dirty carpet in room. Clogged shower drain. Constantly running toilet. Rundown room appearance. Overpriced for a person to enter the water park only to watch their child and not partake of the facilities. Breakfast buffet was inedible and coffee was like warm dishwater.
They had everything we needed right on sight. We liked the extras that they offered for our children. They received Wolf ears at arrival and had activities and a bedtime story in the lobby. We all enjoyed the waterpark! The game room closed at 9. I think 10 would've been much better. We couldn't fit everything in. We had one staff person at check in that wasn't helpful at all and wasn't very nice. Another person apologized for her and took care of what we needed. Everyone else was very nice and helpful.
GREAT WOLF LODGE WAS EXCELLENT. THIS WAS MY FAMILIES FIRST TIME THERE AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THE LADY THAT READ THE STORY YOU COUNLDN'T HEAR HER CLEARLY, AND THE FOOD IN THE DINING ROOM FOR BREAKFAST WAS HORRIBLE. OVERALL IF THESE TWO THINGS GET CORRECTED , THIS PLACE WILL BE AWSOME.
Waterpark was phenomenal for an indoor park. Suited more for younger children than tweens. Had a hot tub that was for adults only but children were present and splashing around a lot of the time. Overall, pretty nice. Rooms could have been cleaner and they are not the "family suites" as advertised, they are double hotel rooms with log furniture.
Rooms reception reponse time to room calls people where respectful I could relax and have fun with the kids Breakfast at the restaurant it brought down the standard in my view
Hotel was clean, staff was friendly.
The breakfast was the only good thing. The room was extremely dirty to the point we switched the now new room had hair all over the shower and someone never flushed before they left
The rooms were clean & the staff was nice and helpful. Its welcoming. When we entered the room there was urine on the toilet. We told the staff and they cleaned it right away. The room was also full of mosquitos. We got bit all night.
Rooms were clean and modern. Mattress was a good one. Everything worked, tv, microwave, etc. Breakfast was okay. It was a very nice place, but not worth the money. It was $133 with tax and everything for two of us to stay one night. It was not on Lake Erie, not beach front, etc.
excellent rooms due to fact that you get a suite bad tempered staff. weird attitude
Staff was incredibly friendly and gave incredible service. This includes both the front desk and the housekeeping. I love that breakfast was free and had a lot to offer. Its actually been the best hotel service I've had in awhile compared to a lot of other places I've stayed at. Thank you much.
Friendly staff, nice rooms/amenities, great value Wi-fi slow and functions sporadically. An abundance of Trump campaign signage with no corresponding reason/event.
Spacious room, friendly staff Uncomfortable bed
Nice hotel There isn't much parking
It was a very nice room and the price was just right, the restaurant across the street was delicious and I would stay here again There was trash underneath the couch but other than that no complaints
Was nice to have a sofa in the room for extra seating. The beds were a bit small. Would prefer queen beds over the full size. The sofa should have a pull out bed for extra sleep space.
Room was very nice for the price, and the breakfast was great, they even have a pancake machine! Staff very friendly too.
The room was clean and comfortable. Very close drive to many restaurants and the park. Though having the jacuzzi split between the bedroom and the bathroom, it turned out to be a pretty cool set up. We loved the huge tub! The decor is very dated and the grounds could use some upkeep. The "continental breakfast" was disappointing (thawed frozen waffles, three choices of cereals, and pop tarts). We didn't like the outdoor seating area, since it was pretty cold that morning.
The location was awesome. We went to Cedar Point and it was super close and very easy to find. When we got to the hotel the room was so cold. I mean really cold, which was nice since we had a blistering hot day at Cedar Point, and all of us really like our rooms to be chilly. The room size was very nice for four people and we for comfortably, I would not have stayed in the room for an extended stay though. The hotel was also pretty close to some nice food resturants in the Sandusky area. The room and bathroom were also pretty clean. The hotel wasn't fancy or brand new, a little run down, but comfy. That bathroom. The bathroom was way way too small and every time we turned the light on it made a distorted ringing noise that was so abnoxious we used our cell phones for light. Also, the breakfast. The breakfast was not very good at all. There was no warm food. You could put like a bagel in the toaster oven, but it didn't work. We also had to walk to the Pavilion, which was forever away from our room and it was also outside. It got very hot and muggy in there really quick. We even left and took our breakfast to our cold room.
Cozy room with a fridge, microwave and jetted tub. Had a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms could easily be updated and be so much nicer. Coffee maker did not work.
place was very clean with no maintenance issues . the ac and heat unit worked very well. was able to take motorcycle inside court yard and park right at our doors. the outside screened in room for continental breakfast was a very nice addition. housekeeping staff was great and supplied me with extra rags and showed me where outside water hose was to wash my motorcycle because it was so dirty from being caught in rain.
easy check in breakfast breakfast - .outdoors

You are definitely feel like a guest they appreciate. Their attention to detail and cleanliness in superb. The breakfast buffet was delicious with fresh make yourself Belgium waffles. I have to say I was very impressed and happy with this hotel. There was way too much chlorine in the hot tub. My son and I were trying to sit in it for a late night soak and my eyes and lungs were actually burning. I had to get out because of this. Couldn't even be in the room. It was overkill.
Great breakfast, nice staff.
We loved our weekend getaway and the big whirlpool in our room.
The mattress Price for room quality. Room was ancient and had no pay per view
Brian at the front desk was enthusiastic about being at the hotel, very professional and courteous
This hotel was very clean and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice. The shower had excellent water pressure and the tv in the room had a very nice picture quality. The pool was clean and the exercise room was nice. Their continental breakfast was the best of any others we have had from anywhere else. They had a wide assortment to choose from including waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, english muffins, bagels, muffins, doughnuts, and a hot choice that changed daily. The ladies working at the breakfast were very friendly. The only downside to the hotel is that they do not have refrigerators, but they do have vending machines and ice machines, so you can make it without one. I highly reccomend this hotel to anyone!
We spent a great deal of time researching hotels and reading reviews before deciding to stay at this Hampton Inn. Our family (2 adults and 2 children) visited Cedar Point and the African Safari. Check-in was the quickest that I have ever experienced. Gavin was very polite and made us feel welcome. The room is basic, but decorated tastefully. The beds are very comfortable. The room was stocked with plenty of towels, an extra blanket, and more than enough pillows. The hotel was so quiet, that you would think that you had the place to yourself (in our case, the hotel was full). There were no maintenance problems and no elevator delays. The breakfast buffet provided plenty of choices for our family. Every day, there were two hot foods to go along with the cereals, donuts, muffins, bagels, etc. The hostess(es) could not have been nicer! They were constantly refilling the food supplies and cleaning up after the guests. The food was displayed beautifully and was always covered to maintain freshness - and a sanitary enviornment. The beverage service (coffee, teas, cocoa, and juice) is available 24 hrs per day. The pool is very nice and warm enough to enjoy. Our only complaint is that the jets in the hot tub were not working correctly. We were still able to utilize the hot tub though so it wasn't a total waste. The location is perfect! It is just down the road from Cedar Point. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. If you forgot something, Meijers is open 24 hours per day and they are just down the road. We would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler. As a matter of fact, we can't wait to go back!
The price of the room was fair & the location was excellent. No refrigerator and no microwave in the room.
Everyone was friendly, hotel very clean, breakfast buffet was very good and afternoon cookies was nice. Pool and hot tub were clean and beds very comfortable. Average room, bit pricey. But considering the area and older hotels, I was w lling to pay for a better hotel.
Convienient Newer Hampton Inn owned by same people was closer to the highway and they would not transfer our reservation.
Great Breakfast! They Only Had 4 King Bed rooms
Location The room itself was NOT very clean. I saw several extremely long black hairs on the bathroom countertop, another long hair on the back of the toilet seat - - both in plain sight! Alarm clock didn't work. Several lights did not work.
Staff was pleasant. Our shits had shoe prints and cigarette burns. Alarm clock was missing. The Bar/Restaurant that was located in the lobby was awful. Service was almost nonexistent. Waitress brought us wrong drinks and food...and we were the only ones there.

The location and value are very good. Being low priced, I did not expect much, but it was just fine. There was a party in the parking lot that went until 2:30 AM. I do not know if this is normal, or if it was because it was Halloween weekend.
Location. The restaurant would not allow kids after 10 pm as its also a bar.
The front staff was very polite. The room was very large and did not feel like we where on top of each other. The location was perfect, it was in the middle of everything you need. The only problem I had was with the motel kitchen manager. MY food was not cooked right at all and he was rude to me, but the owners of the place fixed it and I was happy with the results.
the staff were very friendly and helpful they even told us about a great restaurant that was open late at night after a day at cedar point they gave us a good room that was very roomy however there was no microwave or fridge in the room just coffemaker the room had ants they were pretty bad crawling on tables, counters and our shoes when I told them about them they said nothing I was disappointed if I wanted ants in my room I would have gone camping
It was easy to find and right on the strip at Cedar Point. I was a bit uneasy returning to my room at night in the parking lot. I didn't see any security.
location to cedar point is perfect. the staff was exceptional
Friendly staff cleaner room, nice view of the outdoor seats by area and pool. Much better than expected for the price!!! I will book there again!! :) The air conditioner smelled bad but the staff was more than happy to fix this it and it was great after that!!

Restaurant/Bar was actually tasty and VERY reasonably priced in comparison to other things in the area. Clean and nice for the price.
The staff was friendly, accommodating and incredible The facilities were a bit "dingy" and dated. It was as if you were stepping into the 1970's. Also, the lighting fixture had bugs in it and they buzzed... always a turn off. Otherwise a nice place.
Very clean. Breakfast bar featured a cool automatic pancake maker that has to be seen to be believed. About 20 miles off the turnpike, in a resort-type area near Lake Erie shore. Requested hotel near Fremont exit on turnpike via this booking service and among the listings in Fremont got this one in Port Clinton instead of the one in Fremont. Unfortunately I did not google map this address before booking. Got off at Fremont exit in heavy fog and was told at Fremont Holiday Inn Express that we had to drive 20 more miles to Port Clinton Holiday Inn Express. We had already paid, so we did this, worrying all the way that we would not make it there in the pea soup fog along two lane country roads. Moral of the story - always check the address on this booking website to make sure the Holiday Inn Express you think you are booking is actually the one closest to you.
The location, the view of the river, the clerk who checked me in was really nice and considerate. She made me feel welcomed when I arrived late after having car trouble on the way there. clerk who came in at 11pm was very rude, not friendly at all. I switched to smoking rooms, asked her for a map or direction, she replied 'its an outside door'. after walking around entire hotel with all of our luggage, asking her twice for help
Loved location..the grounds looking out to the lake was great Bath tubs..sauna tubs didn't work..no bars to hold on to..to get in and out..no screen on sliding door
Cleanliness was very good. And the staff was kind and very hospitable. No coffee maker in the room, and I didn't notice any coffee available at the complimentary breakfast. The side entrance doors had a card swipe security feature on it that was broke. So anyone could enter the hotel.
Room met expectation. Was clean. The outdoor space had a gazebo and wooden chairs to sit and watch the sun set over the lake. Loved it!! Had continental breakfast that was adequate. The bathtub was huge..jet tub that was disconnected. Anyone with difficulty walking or having arthritis could NOT get into the tub..me for one. There are NO grab bars of any kind and the strips in the tub were minimal. Very unsafe.

How amazingly clean it was! I would definitely recommend Fairfield Inn.
Breakfast wasn't that great. The waffles were a bit hard. Overall I will stay there again.
Clean and practical. Small room. Sink outside bathrooms.
We arrived late in the evening, after a 12hr trip, expecting lodging. The doors were closed and no one answered the phone. Withe temperature was in the single digits, we quickly had to find another hotel.
Close to Ferry. Rooms were clean. Rooms could be remodeled. Starting show age.
Felt like home No lights in 603 bathroom
the location was perfect for my trip. The main desk greeted us nicely. The room was very nice and comfortable.
Bathroom and dressing area where clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Mini fridge, microwave and 2cup coffee maker in room where nice touches. Carpet wall coverings and furniture was old and worn. One of the chairs at the table was severely stained. The room was very musty. So much so that they has two glade solid air fresheners in the room and they didn't help much. Old standard definition tube TV. Beds where OK at best as far as comfort. Needs updating.
