Pros: Kilburn House is located in a very quiet country location, which we really liked. It was en-route to our next destination so the location for us was excellent. Our room was impressively large, with a very large bath. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were super!
Cons: We liked everything about our stay but for those who would prefer a location closer to the center of a bustling town, this may not be the best choice for you.

Pros: woooooooowwwww I love thies B&B
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts at Tom & Eileen’s B&B offer the very finest welcome in all of Ireland. Myself and partner loved every part of our stay at this charming B&B, in particular meeting our hosts who were kind enough to show us their horses which made for a wonderful memory and a highlight of our trip. The room was superb, absolutely spotless with very comfortable bed, great amenities, hot power shower and the room had a lovely view of the stables and countryside beyond.. After a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed we enjoyed a very satisfying breakfast and then set off to explore the local area visiting local caves, walks and nice cup of tea in one of the nearby villages. For authentic warm Irish hospitality in a very picturesque setting I can’t recommend this gem of a place enough. Our stay at Tom and Eileen’s was very memorable and one of the highlights of our holiday, we will be sure to return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: No faults at all a great place to stay with lovely people
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: -The family who run the farm (and B&B) are very friendly and if you wish show you quite a lot at the farm. -Our room was very spacious -Ample choice on their breakfast menu. including very good pancakes (not the boring american ones) -the host gives excellent itinerary's!
Cons: -If going to a pub (and not needing a car) is very important to you there might be better options since walking to the pub in Castlemain takes you along a busy road without a good shoulder. For me it would never outweigh the positive points of this B&B and I would defenitely revisit this B&B if I were in the area.

Cons: Only one accessible electrical outlet that was behind a bed. Coffee was too strong. No yogurt choices, meager variety of fruit especially on our last day as none was offered. Inch View Lodge - Milltown (Kerry) - Building
10
9.6 Excellent (99 reviews)
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We wish we would have known about this place before arriving in Ireland. We spent about a week going from town to town. We stayed at a bunch of different hotels and b&bs that were pretty bad despite having nice ratings. We aren't picky but a few seemed to have really old mattresses. Walking into the Onch View Lodge was like a breath of fresh air. The hosts were friendly and talkative. The view from our room was nice. Our room was huge and was very nice. The breakfast they cooked us in the morning was also very nice. The hosts also went out of their way to help us plan the rest of our trip around Ireland. The furnishings in the room were all contemporary like at a Marriot. Best sleep yet
Cons: It's about 5 minutes outside of town. That's the only thing I can think of but it wasn't a big deal. This place is a lovely steal. Be sure to stay here if you're in the area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is absolutely beautiful, furnished with taste and it feels like you are staying at a high end hotel. The owners are the loveliest couple and are very keen to make you feel at home. It was so silent, the best night of sleep I had in months!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was without a doubt our favourite place we stayed at in all of Ireland during our 2-week visit. The owners were an absolute delight, and the B&B was so sleek, modern and tastefully decorated. The owner is a clothing designer and her sense of style and good taste was evident throughout the house. The breakfast was so delicious, our room was spacious with a super comfy king size bed, and the bathroom was stunning. The grounds around the property were lovely as well.
Cons: That we weren't able to stay longer. We were only in Milltown for 2 days and if we'd known how nice this place was, we would have made this our home base and done day trips to see the sights from here.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beds were super comfortable and the room was very quiet, and was spotless,tv had Netflix which is a big bonus I’d definitely return
Cons: Would be handy if they had a little coffee/tea making section. The owner did make us some without any hesitation it’s just would have been easier if we didn’t have to bother him

6.8 Good
Pros: Location was convenient. Bedding was very comfortable.
Cons: Standard room had poor ventilation with one very small window. Felt more like staying at a chain hotel (impersonal) compared to other similar establishments in Ireland. Basically just a place to sleep and shower and pricey for that.

Pros: Bar downstairs was great, staff was amazing. Love this place, we all said that we’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This lovely townhouse is attached to the pub "next door". We checked in with the young woman who was pouring pints in the pub and were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of our room. Everything was new and modern. Our room was quiet and we slept so comfortably in our beds. I loved the toiletries and the rain showerhead. But, the best was the breakfast with locally made granola. I had to go to the store to buy some to recreate the breakfast at home for myself, it was that good. Killorglin is small and easily walkable. We had a fabulous meal at Sol Y Sambra.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast vs the usual "full Irish" stodge. Smoked salmon, chorizo, good bread, etc. Lovely staff too.

Cons: The B&B is in a quiet and calm area within the macgillycuddy reeks, which is exactly what we wanted for a hiking weekend away however there was no pubs or shops within walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, the staff were very nice. Would reccomend getting dinner or at least something in their cafe (homemade icecream is amazing!). Great routines to Carantoothil straight from the bnb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is full of surprises - like a foot spa machine in the room or the fact that you can climb Carrauntoohil right from there (the owners gave us detailed directions that allowed us to get to the top safely). The owners, Sandy and John, are very experienced hosts but still treat each guest like a VIP. The breakfast was beautifully set up with fresh fruit and crispy toasts and the evening meal absolutely gourmet with the reachest tomato-basil soup, butter cooked seabass and hand made ice cream. A miraculous place!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome Nice rooms Great breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: Lakemount House B&B was reasonably comfortable and the location relative to the nearby city was very helpful. The wife of the couple that owns this property was truly a delight and she went above and beyond in helping us navigate to a nearby laundromat. She even walked us through the payment and cycle selection process...it was a bit quirky. The breakfast was a classic Irish breakfast and satisfying.
Cons: For some odd reason, the hot water was not "on" in the evening. We had to wait until the following morning for hot showers which was a bit disappointing. The "official" hours for providing breakfast are somewhat narrow in our opinion (7:30 to 9). Lastly, they choose to not use any form of automated or online payment ...so be prepared to pay in cash which is the only option they accept.

Pros: Comfortable bed and good location with nice breakfast and friendly owner
Cons: Bit of road noise and not too many things like coat hooks on doors and tissues for you to Use etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I spent a night at Liosderrig's and we absolutely loved the experience. The surroundings were beautiful, Maureen was welcoming, the B&B itself was clean with fresh flowers on the tables, and our room was small but nice. Also, breakfast was great! On the night of our arrival, Maureen asked us what kind of breakfast we would like and when we wanted to have it. The following morning she made us the most wonderful breakfast consisting of juice, freshly brewed coffee with milk, yoghourt with various types of fruit and berries, scrambled eggs, bacon, homemade sodabread, roasted toast and butter. Thank you for a lovely stay, Maureen. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Cons: The coffee had a kick to it, but with a little extra milk we were all good. Also, the rooms are not very big which is perfectly fine if you are only staying for a few days, however, if you are staying there for a full week, you may feel a little cramped in the end. But really, we just loved our stay at Liosderrig House B&B and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for lodgings near the Ring of Kerry!

Pros: We received a lovely welcome from Maureen and the breakfast was delicious. I was offered a fruit salad and yogurt as I didn't want a big fry. The location of the B&B is ideal as it is in the centre of the village and 30 seconds from restaurants, pubs etc

Pros: Maureen was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, near enough to the pubs and restaurants and far enough away not to be noise disturbed. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Cons: The bedroom was very small and just about contained the beds; this is okay if you are only going to use it for sleeping but if you wanted to spend anytime in the room it felt tight. The breakfast was nice bar the skimpy sausages. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
