Pros: Clean. Friendly staff and pet friendly. Drove us into MacKeans Restaurant and picked us up - excellent service allowing us to enjoy the wine pairing. Good breakfast
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The triple bedroom was clean.
Cons: The place was all locked up. No indication of which of the locked doors was the guest inn. Nobody seemed to be around, although a barking dog eventually alerted someone that we were there. The restaurant was closed for renovations. Fair enough, however we should have been notified that painting etc was going on in the place, and its not like they forgot about the booking as a hold for the full amount was put on my visa exactly 1 week before our arrival (have never had that done through booking.com before). The breakfast was Ok, but I don’t think cocktail sausages can really pass for breakfast links! The free wifi password we were given did not work, so 1 of the girls decided to just pay for international data so that we could all check in with family at home! It was a very creepy experience and I don’t think any of us slept that night!

Pros: Welcoming. Good breakfast and cosy rooms, the views are tremendous.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was lovely and it in convenient setting
Cons: I was disappointed to see the outside and rooms had deteriorated. I had visited before.and would give it 10 out 10 but this time the grounds and rooms could do with repair.A number of guests where disappointed with the entertainment.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The food was amazing view was excellent
Cons: Food very expensive.very understaffed.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel. Staff were courteous helpful
Cons: Paid 22 euro extra for a seaview room not requested on line. Cost online was €88 for room and breakfast At evening dinner limited choice told by waitress hotel was very busy when asked for chunky chips with meal skinny fries came. Waitress apologised and got a portion of mash to make up. Before booking we enjoy country music and before booking checked with hotel receptionist that there was music in the bar lounge on Saturday night. Unfortunately the music man never arrived when my wife and I were relaxing having a drink following a super sunshine day we like other customers were e extremely disappointed and retired earlier than would have liked to bed. Hotel outside patio was full of weeds untidy need of a good clean up in such a nice location.
7.0 Good
Pros: It is a lovely location and the staff are friendly....Food is also of a good standard....
Cons: Nice small hotel... rooms need a bit of decorating
5.0 Okay
Pros: Scenery and sea view. Parking facilities
Cons: Felt very little atmosphere. Would have liked better relaxing area to sit instead of being stuck in a dark area with not much view. Would have liked toiletries to have been checked on our 2nd day. Met staff member on way out 2nd morning and was asked if we wanted towels, which we said yes, would have thought that was standard hygiene practice Had no toilet roll and shower gel empty this was not checked on 2nd day ( had our own) We had one evening meal and while it was nice we had quite a wait to be served our main meal. No one explained on Thursday morning about power cut (no fault of staff or hotel) just female staff member informed us cooked breakfast, tea coffee would be a wait. That was Grand. No showering facilities due to power cut. We packed up and left at approximately 10.20am and not one staff member said "thank you did you enjoy your stay" or "goodbye" this was due to no staff being present in reception or any resident areas.

Cons: The hotel is very dated. I put on the Jacuzzi bath and dirt from the filter came through. Not cleaned at all. Pool was very small, had to wait for others to get out of the pool before going into it. Not a great selection of bar food, and very over priced.

4.3 Okay
Pros: Pool and outdoor play area lovely
Cons: Accomodation was awful. We had young children with us and the noise, poor security ( interlocking door between our apartment and next apartment), dodgy security locks on windows etc. To be honest it was very dirty.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff + it does have a sauna and a tiny kids pool.
Cons: Noise. Noise. Noise. Knuckers all over, drinking and shouting all day long. Awful place to stay with the family, loads of people coming only to drink and be insane. Staff is trying their best, thanks to them, but facilities are super outdated. Rooms are old and chubby. Presumably, owners are only milking the place and do not to spend money on any renovations.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to beach. Pool table that my kids liked a lot to play.
Cons: Na
6.8 Good
Pros: Near everything Staff were friendly Quiet during the day
Cons: Music on Friday night was so loud it felt like they were in the room with us we were on the 3rd floor Badly needs updating Bed in our room was rock hard Nobody there to check us out on Sunday No general maintenance seems to be done Have to pay extra for electricity No cleaning products like a sweeping brush in the apartment
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location within town with ample free car parking, medium family apartments with kitchen, bathroom and dining table. Have Jacuzzi, Shauna and swimming pools along with kids play area. Friendly and supportive staff, lot of good restaurants and takeaways around. Walkable distance from waterworld, adventure park and beach.
Cons: The apartments, the corridors and stairways look very outdated. The furniture slightly worn out, still very usable. I could not find a way to turn off room heating (may be my fault), had to open the windows for sleep during summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable clean.great staff .and facilities. Kids loved pool.
Cons: Nothing
5.5 Okay
Pros: Very friendly staff, great location.children play area and swimming pool great
Cons: Beds very uncomfortable, overpowering musty smell.i rely on reviews when I use booking.com so disappointed to read reviews rating high for comfort as not the case.all 4 mattresses in room needed changing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: plenty of room and acceptance of pets; location is perfect.
Cons: could have got a sea view.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The facilities are ok, play ground and swimming pool, the games rooms is outdated and filthy! Have to say, when you do see a member of staff they are extremely friendly and I liked the fact I could bring our small dog. Wouldn't stay here again, hotels/apartments need updating, this very obviously hasn't been touched in over 20+yrs at a guess!
Cons: So.... where to start? When trying to contact hotel a few days before and a few hours before to ask about check in there wasnt any answer for over 3hrs! The rooms are extremely outdated and In need of a serious deep clean! Booked for two nights only stayed for one
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The accommodation wasn’t a very good standard but the staff were very friendly. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Cons: The room was very basic and extremely outdated. The whole place could have done with being spruced up.

Cons: The shower and TV could be upgraded.
3.8 Mediocre

Pros: Location was great and receptionist was nice and friendly on our arrival. Bed was comfy. Room was basic but nice and big. Bar attached was good with live music.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the town , nice cooked breakfast and lovely staff.
Cons: Could have some fresh fruit on offer at breakfast. Closest parking is 3euro a day.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views
Cons: Bit tired bathroom
5.5 Okay
Pros: Wi-Fi was good and staff were pleasant and helpful
Cons: Room decor very old, paint on bathroom ceiling and walls was peeling and mouldy, no hotel car park.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, for beach walks and the children living in the arcades, also room had sea view. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, aiming to make changes due to an elderly relative I had not thought to prebook an accessible room for. The bar was friendly, good choice of drinks and the menu was adequate. The breakfast included in the price was good quality, the fry was great, not a lot of choice in fruits, pastries/breads and no yoghurts. For a short stay and the reasonable price overall it was acceptable.
Cons: The rooms were ok, cleanish, but old, in need of updates, carpets stained, we had four rooms so it is an element they need to address generally. The big let down for me, was the bathroom, pipes, wood splintering, that pink water mould on the tile grouting. Shower curtains that looked old, the shower was over the bath, water pressure poor, just yuk to me.
7.0 Good
Pros: Ones that can hold a drink and banging noise and 4 and 3 in the morning
Cons: Location
