Excellent 8.0
Pros: The beach view was stunning.
Cons: The extra bed wasn’t comfy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location, best beach on big island, nice service, good food for asian(especially grill and ulu), room Service also good
Cons: No
Good 7.1
Pros: Location from KOA Airport, nice selection of pools, own private beach.
Cons: Found a LIVE cockroach! plus its egg. This was in the ‘Ohana Suite (room #1501). Also, during their Tuesday evening luau, we were shown to our Table #3, got our food, sat down and started eating, then the host asked us to move to the next table. These things were not acceptable when you paid a premium for the accommodations and service. Lack of attention to detail and cleanliness.
Good 7.1
Pros: Wonderful sunsets. Gorgeous gardens and landscaping. Beautiful walks/runs/jogging tracks. Like the little touches like sunscreen and leave in hair conditioner at the pool area. Lovely spa.
Cons: Food wasn't great. Room wasn't made up till after 3pm each day and the amenities (cotton pads) were not replaced despite requests. The washroom at the Grill weren't clean. Pilates class was cancelled at the last minute with no explanation and after sending us on a goose chase.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Restaurants were outstanding. Tv was HUUUUGE!
Cons: Breakfast overpriced. No continental with pastries available 45$ buffet ridiculous.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet, the pools, on the beach. The Hualalai Grille was amazing food.
Cons: The Ulu restaurant
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very beautiful setting, and top-notch facilities. I loved the spa
Cons: The food was quite good in most instances, but I expected better preparation from a hotel that has such a strong reputation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Absolutely magical place. One of the best resorts I have visited in a long time. As a gay couple I would highly recommend it. The service was top notch and all the rooms faced the ocean. It's best to stay at the resort and experience all the services and restaurants to get the full luxury experience. We got upgraded to an ocean front room and enjoyed the stay so much we defiantly will be coming back.
Cons: The prices are very high to stay at this resort and I searched the Internet for the best rates and honestly found the best prices on Kayak.com

Pros: The view, the facilities, the breakfasts, the grounds, the hosts- were all unforgettable. We highly recommend this BNB!!
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hawaiian Paradise. From the moment we arrived our hosts Robert & Daniel made us feel most welcome and throughout our stay were always on hand to give us information and advice on places to visit, things to do and restaurants to eat at. The room was beautifully styled, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. From the chocolates on the bed every night, fresh fruit daily, and drinks and snacks in the fridge, you will want for nothing. The large well appointed bathroom had everything you will need, From toiletries, robes, fresh towels daily and the best shower I’ve ever used. Breakfast was served on the veranda with views overlooking the ocean and can only be described as a truly amazing culinary experience. A huge thank you to Robert & Daniel for making our stay, a special and memorable one at this little piece of paradise.
Mediocre 2.5
Cons: Beware their extremely inflexible cancellation policy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: New remodeled high end

Pros: Attention to every detail! I really appreciate that! Breakfast was delicious and hosts were very kind and attentive to our needs.
Cons: N/a
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My husband and I stayed at the Ohi'a Park Estate in early August of this year while attending a wedding in Kona. We are frequent travelers and enjoy staying in boutique hotels with local flair. Hosts Daniel and Robert exemplify what it means to be gracious hoteliers. Their own extensive luxury travel experiences influenced every decision they made while converting this lovely property into a bed and breakfast. The property is immaculate, from the rooms to the grounds. There are four rooms at Ohi'a Park Estate, running in a linear fashion along a gracious porch outfitted with supremely comfortable chairs and tables set with huge orchids. Jet lag had us rising early each morning, so we had ample opportunity to relish sitting on the porch, enjoying the cool breezes while admiring the beautifully landscaped property with views to the town of Kona and the ocean beyond. Daniel and Robert were quick to bring us endless cups of rich, delicious coffee, espresso and tea. Breakfast is served at your leisure on the lower deck, which is outfitted with four tables, yellow umbrellas, and beautiful place settings. Daniel and Robert took note of all of our preferences in terms of sun or shade, drinks, favorite foods, and so on -- like magic, the following morning our table would be placed in the shade, the tea would be black, and the bread basket would be filled with extras of what we had chosen the day before. The breakfast was both delicious and abundant -- we could easily wait until dinner for our next meal (not that we did!) First course is a beautifully plated fruit plate, followed by a continental breakfast of breads, butter, marmelades, meats and cheeses ....and then eggs and bacon cooked to order. The meal concludes with sweet muesli and a chat with the hosts about what you would like to see and do for the day. They offered us excellent suggestions for daily itineraries, complete with maps and directions.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Trina and Shai were great hosts. Shai is a wonderful chef. Best breakfast on the Big Island. Trina and Shai are very knowledgeable about the island and happy to help guide you with all there is to see and do during your stay. We hope to return one day! Great vacation 5/19
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Shay was an incredible host. Morning coffee grown on the plantation was great, the rooms were comfortable and the standout were the breakfasts and personalised advice. Only a short drive into town. Would recommend to other guests easily.
Cons: Can't complain
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great bed, awesome food. Great hosts. Very comfortable.good view of the bay. Our time was not long enough.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Shai and Trina are amazing. Especially shai’s Cooking and storytelling!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Breakfast is awesome, coffee is awesome, view from the deck is awesome, location is awesome, hosts are awesome. Lots of tips given by the hosts on surroundings, what to do, where to go. Much appreciated. I would recommend getting to the Inn before darkness sets in, otherwise it may be difficult to navigate the drive up to the Inn. Note that the driveway is very Hawaiian in that there's a steep incline. You don't need a 4WD though to get up or down.
Cons: It is a bit inevitable given the location and having lots of green around you, but there are lots of coqui frogs that can keep you up at night in case you are a light sleeper. Other than that it is wonderfully quiet, very relaxing. Luckily we were tired enough to sleep without losing sleep. The room we had was a bit damp, which you could easily feel on the curtains, and some of the towels.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast made by professional chef/owner with products from the estate Great local knowledge and insights on activities and excursions tailored your taste Great views from the property to chill in a calm area
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Shai and Trina are just amazing hosts! We have never been in such a beautiful place, where nature, love and family are combined. The view was amazing, the breakfast delicious, the coffee oustanding and the house wonderful! We enjoyed every minute at the lilikoi inn and we can only recommend it! It is not only the good quality of the products served that are incredible, but also the service given by Trina and Shai. They spread happiness, love and joy of life and make everything to feel you comfortable. We adore them!
Okay 5.4
Pros: My partner and I are seasoned travelers who have stayed at many B&Bs around the world. While the scene was set for an an amazing experience at Lilikoi Inn with its lush surroundings and incredible vast views, we left feeling insulted and robbed of an ideal ending to our vacation. We returned late to an aggressive note placed on our bed, claiming we spilled wine on the bedding. We did have wine opened in the room, but no spill occurred and we spent several minutes looking at the linens to understand the issue, finding nothing. We left a note to tell the owners we would speak to them the next day. Before we were fully awake, an owner approached me in the morning saying there was "grease" everywhere, to which I said, we did not see such a thing. Finally, after much insistence, the owner came into our room to show us where the stain was, now claiming it had looked like a "hand print". First, we were horrified to know that the owners were intrusively inspecting our linens in detail during our stay. Second, when the owner came into our bedroom and began physically inspecting every inch of the linen for several minutes before we had checked out, it became HUMILIATING, and felt like he was "accusing" us (a gay couple) of doing something "inappropriate" in the bed. He was literally looking at every part and every side of every linen, sheet and the bedspread for at least 3 or 4 full minutes and did not find ANY STAIN ANYWHERE. When we asked if daily bedding inspections were a usual part of the guest experience, he could not respond. In our years of travel, we have found that accommodations routinely wash linens and towels, rather than interrogating guests about the origin of every residue left behind. When we left, the owner said "nothing personal, but we've had a lot of issues with spills lately." No way to treat guests. (continued below)
Cons: Without this incident, we would have grinned and bared it, but the rest of our stay was by no means perfect. The hosts violate their own quiet hours with loud talking, heard in our room at 6:30 am. We (35 year old men) felt treated like children in the moments before our "bedding inspection" when we were told we no longer were allowed to bring coffee into the bedroom as we were packing. We found the 1.5 hr group breakfast experience with the majority of that time devoted to one of the hosts monologuing about her life without even feigning interest in what anyone else had to say and her extensive disparaging comments about tourists of various nationalities to detract from our positive, peaceful Hawaii vibes. As a result, we decided to skip the next day and pay to eat out in order to have a more zen, upbeat start to the day. Not to mention, in a land of fresh tropical food and a B&B that has a fruit farm, we couldn't understand why guests were served processed juice, fruit with unnecessary sweet condensed milk on top, and eggs with literal slices of hot dog within. Everywhere else in Hawaii, we experienced healthy, natural food. Amazing location and beautiful views, and one of the hosts was initially kind and helpful with providing us tips of things to do in the area, but overall, we would say that staying at the Lilikoi Inn was simply not worth the negative energy we had to recover from when we left. We waited in the hope that we would hear from the owners with an adequate apology but have received nothing.

Pros: If you're looking to stay somewhere away from the loud touristy areas and prefer the natural sounds of insects and birds, a gorgeous view of the sunrise from your bed, and a home-cooked breakfast, this is the place for you.
Cons: Be aware that you'll need insect repellent for the morning and evening as you're surrounded by a large variety plants (it is a coffee farm after all, though they grow a variety of other fruits and vegetables as well)
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We liked the view, the breakfast, the recommendations from the owners
Cons: I will highly recommend to change the mattress
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Food was excellent. Loved the pets.
Cons: The twin size bed wasn't comfortable for me so we traded beds the second night. That was much better.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast were good, did not leave the table feeling hungry. Plenty of food to eat and nutritious. Quiet and good location to get to various locations. Good view of the ocean and birds singing in the morning.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The back patio, gazebo and view are lovely areas. Hans and Marsha were very hospitable and we enjoyed hearing their stories.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Exellent place! Friendly and interesting hosts. Very nice experience to have breakfast together with hosts and have academic discussion simultaneously. We enjoyed very much. Thanks Dr Eckert and Marsha.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Every morning, Marsha served us a delicious home cooked breakfast on the lanai that overlooked the coffee farm and valley below which extended all the way to the Pacific Ocean. They served their own Kona coffee every morning which was wonderful! Marsha was a gracious gracious host and we learned so much about Hawaii and it’s history from her. Thank you so much!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Quiet old Hawaii feeling
Cons: All perfect
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This location is just gorgeous. The tropical flowers, the view of the ocean, the convenience to the airport. You walk out onto the patio from your bedroom and overlook flowers, coffee trees all the way out to the ocean. Breakfast was delicious, the host, Marsha, friendly and sociable. This will be my go to place whenever I go back to the Big Island.
Cons: I loved absolutely everything about this place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice place to stay and escape from the touristy section. Breakfast was fantastic!
Cons: If you want to stay closer to the shops probably not the best choice, at least not without a car rental.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly hosts, comfortable and quiet location, easy access to Kona sights
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was my favorite place I've ever stayed at. We will absolutely be back! Scott and Caroline really did an amazing job with stocking/amenities. They have everything you might think of for enjoying a trip to Hawaii. Food stuffs, beach equipment, cooler, washer/dryer, bathroom supplies, bags for market shopping; you name it, they have it. The bed was very comfortable as well and plenty of covers for those chillier nights. Location could not be better; it is private yet still only a 15 minute drive down to the city. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful foliage and has the added benefit of a nice hot tub on the back deck. We enjoyed popping up for the Mountain Thunder coffee tour as well! They also have cable and wifi if that is your jam. The cottage feels like your home away from home.
Cons: I didn't like that I was unable to stay for more than 4 days.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything exceeded our expectations. This is a awesome place to just relax. Very cozy and enjoyed the native birds. We will be planning our next trip very soon
Cons: A wood burning fireplace and local style...need a rice cooker.

Pros: Complimentary Breakfast
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing. I will not stay here again. And I have nothing nice to say about it to anyone. This was supposed to be a Birthday Gift and flopped with this experience.
Cons: Hotel charged me 3 times, when I already paid months prior. Said they weren't charging me but did and only refunded part of their charges. They put me in a handicap room that smelled dank and wouldn't go away. Carpets need replacing or cleaning.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: just great all around
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staying at your hotel was one of the best parts of our visit. The staff were friendly, breakfast was great every morning, even the workers assisted us in finding spots to visit. The location was great, we were able to access the beach, stores, food whatever we wanted was within walking distance! Our next visit we will be staying with you again!
Cons: We only had bacon once for breakfast.........joking! There wasnt anything that we were not satisfied with our on stay, it really was perfect!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view
Cons: Would be good to have a microwave in the room.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Food location
Cons: Mostly everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fluffy
Cons: Everything was fine
Excellent 10.0
Pros: New facility, very clean and up to date. Very close to the water front, easy walk to tourists shops, restaurants, and waterfront. Also close to highway access and waterfront scenic roads. Great breakfast selection. Very good value for the money.
Cons: Current construction was underway on one section of the building, so stairs and elevator on that side of facility was not available.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The security and amenities. Convenient location.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location was great, close to the bay in lively downtown area, easy and fun to walk around. Room was large and comfortable, though cookie-cutter. We had a problem with noise next door, and staff was responsive and gracious about moving us to a different room. Breakfast was plentiful.
Cons: Hotel is on a small street, no sign on main street that we could see - we passed it and had to backtrack when our GPS told us we were "there," but we couldn't find it. Breakfast food was standard Holiday Inn/motel type fare, commercially mass-produced - would have been nice to have local produce, fresh bakery. Sorry to see ecologically unfriendly plastic cups and utensils.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was great, the staff was helpful and courteous and the room was clean and had plenty of room. We were allowed early check in which was great and in check out the staff on duty let us have breakfast a little early.
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very well planned hotel. Had all the creatures comforts from home. Free breakfast was a great addition. Front of house staff very helpful, especially Donna. Great location.
Cons: Room was very musty when we first got in, but we just opened the windows and that helped a lot. Can’t help this with the humid conditions.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I noted on my reservation that it was my birthday, so when we checked in they gave me a box of candy with a nice note.
Cons: We weren't happy with the view of the parking lot from our room. My husband called to ask about a room change and they didn't have any other for the first night. However, they did call back later that night while we were out with some options to move to a partial oceanview. At that point, we were already unpacked and didn't take them up on it. We did appreciate the effort though.
Okay 5.4
Cons: Now charges a $22 amenity fee along with a $25 daily parking fee. Just changed a few months ago, and was one of the last places in Kailua-Kona that hadn’t followed the resort fee trend.
Okay 5.0
Pros: They charge me for parking
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Pool, beach, and proximity
Cons: Facing main road with full windows... had to keep the shutters closed a lot.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The view from the lanai of our oceanfront room was amazing. The staff was very prompt to respond to our special requests!! Thos property probably has the only private beach in the area. The complimentary snorkeling gear and beach chairs and umbrella, made our time down at the beach worthwhile!!
Cons: They went the grounds for parties and weddings, so there were all those noises on at least one of the evenings during our 4 night stay.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location. Close to all the amenities, restaurants, shops etc.
Cons: In suite bathroom was extremely small and tub didn't drain properly.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The front desk was fast and accommodating.
Cons: The bed sheet was torn, the bed was not made neatly, there was a used wash towel hanging on the shower curtain rod. The spa is terrible. Worst massage I ever had.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved that we can hang out at pool bar while kids played in pool. Location was great walked around had shops and restaurants near by.
Cons: There was an event going on at the beachside. so we didn't get to enjoy the beach area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location! Lots to do with the kids. Amazing luau! Nice staff! Will definitely be returning in future.
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautiful views from lobby.
Cons: Ridiculous "hotel fees" and parking. This adds over $50 per night, so beware!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: We thought the parking fees were steep.

Cons: The bathroom was clean no big issues, but the toilets are very low, as are counters, and tubs. It's like walking into kindergarten bathrooms!

Pros: perfect ocean view, beautiful garden, and many kinds of fruits.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Awesome property. Very helpful hosts. Loved our visit & will definitely be back sometime!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything! The place was warm, friendly, spotless and comfortable... And the view from our room was spectacular. Strictly vegan, and free fruit in the common room. One of the best values on the Big Island. Clothing optional nighttime pool and spa... If you're brave enough to go "commando".
Cons: A bit "off" the GPS grid... But the directions we received by email were spot on... Must have a car... Nothing is close by in this strictly residential area.
Excellent 9.2
Cons: Solitude in nature. The birds singing in the trees.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Views were stunning, staff were so friendly and lovely. They helped us out so much and upgraded us to the top room for our engagement. The grounds were incredible as well. Very relaxed vibe and simply a wonderful place to stay. Lovely room and balcony. Perfect!
Cons: No real negatives at all. Only thing to possibly mention is the site is vegan - this was fine for us and we enjoyed eating this way, but it wasn’t made clear on booking.com. Visitors might need to know this in advance so they can prepare ideas for food if eating on site.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This property features an amazing garden, a nice refreshing pool and spacious community kitchen. Bungalows are scattered around the garden in comfortable distance from each other. It was a calming and restorative experience to stay there. I’d definitely book it again if I come to Kona.
Good 7.1
Pros: The room was lovely and the best was comfortable. The property was really beautiful. Lots of greenery, the pool and other common areas were really cool spaces.
Cons: When you arrive you are presented with a 3 page rule book with some slightly strange requests in regards to the way the dishes are to be cleaned and put away. The shared bathrooms are nice and rustic however when another guest was showering they didn't like anyone else using the SHARED bathroom. We has nowhere else to go to the bathroom.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Place is not not near town or things to experance in area You have to travel in to the long distance on back road to get there and There is no manager there all the time they leave you a note where your cabin is and you have figured Where it is
Cons: Location location
Excellent 8.8
Pros: I loved everything, except the cockroaches.
Cons: The cockroaches. I like fresh towels everyday, since I do hand laundry and the towels are wet. Fresh towels should not be extra.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, the ocean view was beautiful.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Pam was a very friendly host, and provided a great breakfast. The room was comfortable, and had a great shower and sauna!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable place to stay. Pamela is just great and treated me like an old friend. There was too much food on the table for breakfast each morning just for me.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Pam is a wonderful host & her breakfasts will keep you fuelled for the day. Nice grounds away from busy hotels so you really get peace. Room was very spacious & there's also your own sauna! Nothing like sitting on the back porch at night gazing at the clear sky stars & listening to nature.
Mediocre 2.5
Cons: Was expensive for what it was. Room smelt, wasn’t very clean, and costs weren’t clear
Good 7.1
Pros: Host Pam was very kind. During my short stay she told me about the great places on Big Island. Thanks to Pam, I was able to do meaningful sightseeing.
Cons: Because I am Japanese, I could not make a check-in call. However, I met a man at the farm at the entrance and he took me kindly to the host Pam.

Pros: I got the best room!! Ocean views!!!
Cons: I couldn't connect to the internet on my phone and no internet in the room :(
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Right on the main strip of Kona, but you probably won't see the water from your room.
Cons: I accidentally booked this instead of the Royal Kona and they wouldn't refund me even 10 minutes after I made the reservation. I got there and there are gates on all the doors and just feels depressing. Instead of looking out on the water, you'll be looking at what feels like a project development in Detroit.

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Never got to enjoy it
Cons: Show up and they wouldn't give me access unless they talked to the owner who apparently was on vacation. Wasted 3 hours trying to get a hold of the owner tell I called and canceled. The guy at the front desk was probably the rudest person I have ever met in Hawaii and refused to help me or let me in even with all my booking confirmations
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: This wasnt the condo I rented before and the this condo was the konaislanderinn not the kona island shores condo. Very disappointed.
Cons: False advertising in the name. Kona islander inn and kona island shores condo two different places.

Good 7.1
Pros: As always the location of the hotel is the greatest. Everything was in walking distance. The price was also good.
Cons: They now charge for parking and they do not serve breakfast anymore. To get ice you have to get a key from the front desk.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The beds were great. Ac on point.
Cons: Paying for parking it should be included with the room
Okay 4.5
Pros: the view the location
Cons: unhygienic The rooms almost in ruins The doors do not close, they fall alike what a pity, it would be a very nice hotel
Good 6.3
Pros: No eggs. The bed was fine
Cons: Hotel ok, but needs a lot of work as it must have been first class when it was built. It was ok, but too pricy for the accommodations
Good 7.0
Pros: I did not have breakfast. The air conditioner worked and the bed was comfortable. The unit and especially the bathroom are outdated.
Cons: The bathroom\ms are outdated.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Big room, located oceanfront. Everything like in description. Beautiful area.
Good 6.0
Pros: Great location. Very nice staff.
Cons: Phone in room broken. Bathtub was 4 inches lower to step out of than standard tubs. No hand rails on wall to grab hold of for making getting out of tub safe. No microwave. Housekeeping knocked on door at 8:30 even though Don''t disturb sign was ou
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location is great
Cons: I booked a room with 2 queen beds, paid more. They gave me a room with one bed and a hide a bed on which it is extremely uncomfortable to sleep, causing terrible back and neck pain.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Good beds.
Cons: Cockroach in room that came home in suitcase! Staff overcharged above the price quoted to us, still trying to straighten it out. Breakfast was uninspiring, canned fruit, and no protein (i.e. yogurt or eggs). They were late in setting out breakfast.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The view was nice and the bed was comfy but it was dirty.
Cons: One staff member at front desk did not finish completing our booking and left. Another kind, older woman (who claimed that she doesnt usually work at front desk) had to complete our reservations and give us our keys. The beds were too small for 4 people, bed sheet was dirty containing hair and insect body parts. We paid almost $200 for our stay and was told that we got upgraded to deluxe for "Free". We've always loved staying at uncle Billy's. We are returning customers for many years. Never had problems. We've made so many awesome memories here in kona and in hilo uncle Billy's. Mahalo nui for many years of service and allowing us to make awesome memories that we will always cherish. A hui hou!
Mediocre 2.5
