The staff were extremely friendly and helpful
Good quiet location with own private beach area, yet also within walking distance of local attractions and restaurants.
Everything. The staff, the namnagement, the location, the absolute stunning view from the room at sunrise. I am a well-seasoned traveller and this was my best choice ever! Not a single thing.
Very kind and helpful staff and patron. Just next to the beach and very close to the harbor with all restaurants. The quadrupole ground floor room should be more specified. My rocommendation is to ask for seaview room
The presence of the beach with seats and umbrellas. The WiFi connection No satellite TV
This place is mainly about the casino. But the hotel is still rather nice, clean and useable - especially for shorter and less demanding stays.
Excellent location, close to the old city with parking. Spacious good room with superb balcony. corridors and lift somewhat tired in appearance , in need of some renovation. (The casino facilities did not detrimentally affect our use of the establishment as a hotel)
when arriving driving no clear sign to guide to the main entrance
Very welcome, nice room and we had a splendid terrace. No problem to stay one extra night which we enjoy. Small remark the breakfast on the second was served with not fresh viennoiserie.
Confortable, quiet, elegant, clean, very nice setting, lovely terrace The fact that the breakfast was served in the room. The breakfast was served on a table with wheels which was not very practical. It was a bit inpersonal although the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel is located in a casino which is their main business.
lovely place where to stay. Rooms with good standard
The apartment was close to the beach. The staff were very friendly. It was quiet. I liked that we weren't hassled by cleaning staff early in the morning. I liked that it felt very relaxed and family-run. I liked that it was close enough to the bars and restaurants, but not close enough to be disturbed by them. I liked that it felt safe. I loved the view of the beach and the sea. Bed was uncomfortable and there was no aircon. It said the apartment could fit four people - thankfully we were only two because it was very small and there wouldn't have been enough room for four. There was no safe.
Excellent position to beach, easy onsite parking and adequate facilities for family holiday Really a motel but no supply of dishwash liquid, scrubber, cloth, teatowel or mop. No microwave either.
The closeness to the beach and the view from the balcony. The noise from the road outside. No air-conditioning. Small studio room. Bed hard. Bedding and towels poor.
the position was excellent, right near the sea and close to the port for restaurants etc.
The proximity to the beach and the airport at Hyeres were perfect for us just what we had wanted quite cramped but ideal for a night or two
Good location, almost at the beach. Reception was closed many hours during the day.
Very good service attitude by the personnel In comparison with the the internet pictures there is a (small local ) road build between the hotel and the beach. The hotels opinion differed from the offical payment condition in internet in case of reservation change later than two days before arrival.
Location to the beach, distance from the other appartment blocks, friendliness of the service. Note vthat it is not a hotel, it is a self-catering studio apartment. Internet didn't work in the room, however, it as ok in the courtyard downstairs.
It was on the seaside, loved to hear the waves The towels were very old and didnt smell good.
The very helpful & friendly staff and the location of the hotel immediately by the old town area. We could walk to a number of restaurants & the interesting parts of old Grasse. I would not recommend taking the breakfast. For the same price one could easily walk across the road & buy breakfast for the same price at a pleasant cafe with better choice.
too expensive for what it is, pool is too far away via a steep slope, staff could do with a customer services training
pool was broken
The bed linen was clean. There was a large window overlooking an interesting street. The young lady receptionist was charming. The bathroom was very cramped.
good location strange stuff in toilet, plastic sheets on the bed, like I was in hospital
Right in the center of the old town area. Value for money is really good. No wardrobes or hangers in the room. Be aware that there's no elevator in the hotel.
personnel were extremely gracious and I felt very comfortable
The man that checked me in was very helpful and spoke good English. The bed was of the type that molds to your boby.Takes some getting used to.
Very central No air conditioning. No lift.
it's so central and easy to get around from the hotel! =D there was construction at the back of the hotel, waking me up around 7am.
Excellent location, friendly service There is no elevator in the hotel. The shower stall in the bathroom was very basic, not comfortable.
the check in time was 15h or 3 which was really late for us
Perfect location in the old part of the city (except that you can´t drive to the front of the hotel but parking is no problem), nicely renovated and quite charming. Rooms 18 and 19 on the top floor are absolutely lovely, with a cute little balcony and a large bathroom. It seems though that some of the other rooms have a modern glass shower in the bedroom...? Anyway, we spent a couple of wonderful days in Huyers and this was our favorite little hotel on our trip through Southern France. Everything was fine. Wish we could be there now :-)
All the Personnel were very nice. In the room there was no good smell. We have had only one big towel per person! Breakfast was very simple.
The hotel was clean, functional and had a car park. The restaurant turned out to be surprisingly good. I thought the coffee at breakfast was not good. The position on top of the motorway and absence of a pool seemed at first not ideal. Over the stay I became fond of the hotel.
Checking-in and out was very straight forward & took only minutes. They were very helpful with providing maps of Hyeres and one of the receptionists was very chatty and loved to speak English. This was our third stay there and we have never had any problems. The hotel is ideally placed for looking around the town of Hyeres and is in lovely surroundings. The hotel was ideal for our 1 night stay. I don't think it would have been the right place for me for a longer stay.
Staff (especially at check-in) were great! Ample parking. Close to highway so noise is a problem for the garden/lounge area and rooms facing south. We requested to be moved to a north-facing room & were immediately relocated & happy in a much quieter room. A bit of a walk (~10-15 min) to the old town, but pleasant.
If you come just for sleep. It is ok. Without the car it is quite difficult to find the hotel. The price is pritty high because the rooms are very basic, the batnroom facilities too.
The friendliness of the staff and also their helpfulness. The outside eating/drinking area was very clean and attractive The beds were not very comfortable
The hotel is very close to the airport. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and there was plenty to eat and drink at breakfast. The hotel is also very close to the town.
The staff was lovely and tried very hard to help us in English (our native language) as our French is not strong. Helpful advice and recommendations on activities and transportation. excellent food and great price at the hotel restaurant. We stayed without a car, while it wasn't completely away from everything, it was a good walk to get to the Old Town area and to the train station. Although, a bus stop is near and efficient.
Small sign and minor lighting made it difficult to find at a late evening arrival.
Friendly professional staff. Clean facilities. Good restaurant.
Staff were very attentive and helpful. Large room with excellent air conditioning
Kindness of the hotelkeeper The rooms are inadequately soundproofed
The friendly staff; the excellent location and view; the free parking lot The facilities were very basic
The hospitality, the atmospere and the view was fantastic! None
Good value for money, clean and calm Would have been nicer it it had been a bit closer to restaurants
Lovely garden Weird staircase to room. Long way from nearest restaurant in evening. Opinions coloured by heaviest rain in decades.
Excellent in all respects.....just very slightly old fashioned which only enhanced the charm.....can just imagine upper-class English grockles visiting in the 1920's (when it was built).....and Agatha Christie sitting on the terrace!!!......Perfect situation & perfect service.
Breakfast on a sunny terrace and tranquil atmossphere
Quaint and old with nice gardens and a view to the sea in the distance. Good location for motoring around the Hyeres-Saint Tropez area and within walking distance of a small shopping area for basics.
Choice of rooms given. Very clean room with bath and balcony. Lady owner/manager always around and aware of comings and goings. Very friendly but gave us the feeling of being observed! Afairly minor point.
I liked the proximity to the beach. It was easy to walk from the hotel to nearby restaurants and several different beach spots. We did not like the staff. The woman at the front was fairly nice, but anytime she asked us if we needed anything, and we told her, her answer was no. They also didnt tell us breakfast wasnt included and urged us to come have breakfast, only to learn it was 14 euros. Her husband is a grouchy old man and not friendly at all. For the price, we did not find this to be a good value. Also, it's not located in Lavandou as indicated by the website, it's in Aguibelle.
Breakfast is too expensive, the hotel is expensive too. Small rooms with spider webs in the corners, quite loud due to the road.
The owner/operators were very courteous and helpful and tried in evey way to make our stay comfortable. She even brought me coffee out on the patio in the morning. Hallway carpets need replacing.
The owner of the hotel is friendly and has great French humour. Clean, showers pretty good, ok bed, French TV, basic balcony with nice view. The hotel is cheap all the way up to July whereas many other local hotels bump up the price in May. Our room was basic and had obviously recently been painted because of the smell. Not delux hotel to hang out and relax in, but good as a base-camp for the lovely beaches not so far away.
Notthing. Really dirty and so small room, really dirty bath, lots of hair in the shower and bath floor was disgusting. the bed was really unconfortable and the white shift looks yellow!! We reserved a see view room but it wasn't!
Rooms with balcony and sea view offer fabulous views across the bay and are well worth while and recommended! A bit impersonal.
Excellent location, two minutes walk from hub of cafe bars then a further minute to a sandy beech . Shallow water for a while good for those with children. Host spoke good English and we were allowed use of the underground parking. Room itself was fairly small but had en suit and aircon plus daylight shutters . Overall an excellent stay.
Clean. Close to town. We were not given the room that we had booked and therefore had a poor view with no terrace or sea view. Pillows were uncomfortable.
The price The bedroom was not cleaned before we checked in. The toilet and shower had hair all over the place. The pillow case and sheets had blood stains (!!) and towels were dirty! The room had no protection (screen etc) against insects. We were bitten by mosquitos every night and had to sleep with the windows closed to prevent them from entering. No air in the room with the windows closed and no fan!!
It was Quiet and still very close to the centre of town and the beach
Very relaxed, room was very comfortable, easy access (by car) to port area
We thought the location off road and the tranquillity were excellent and enjoyed that enormously. The fact that we could enjoy the place without being interrupted fit to our lifestyle and we think the place is very good value for the money. We would have liked if there were a coffee machine next the automat for cold drinks. In our case we could have liked a fridge in the rooms. In the garden in front of the entrance, there could have been more tables and chairs in the shadow.
This is a good budget hotel. the position is good and the staff very nice and helpful. we had a good stay here, A little tired, particularly in the gardens.
The situation was excellent, situated overlooking the marina and the beach. Dozens of places to eat within a stones throw of the hotel. Little to dislike particularly. Some facilities to make tea in the room would be good. Paying for the space in the car park is essential. One night, there was no hot water.
Near the center.Cleaning.Parking car for all day x E.2,00 (but you need to book it in advance). Very small double room (my was superior at the 1st floor with hill view).SMALL Double bed and bathroom (like a small camper).NO Balcony and refrigerator on the room. no lift and very small stairs..
only the view from bedroom window Old and uncomforable. stairs very dangerous, especially for my daughter who has severe mobility problems. Her room smelled musty and stale. Unworthy of being called "en suite room" Because of these problems we only stayed one night but were charged for two
Good location close to the beach..Flexable with check-in time as were arrive very late Original booking could not be accomidated by hotel so we booked another of their cheaper rooms.they did not advise of no air condition in room & on checking out they tried to charge eur400 and not eur340 as advertised.
The window in front of the sea, a private low cost ( 2 euros /day) parking, the beach close to the hotel, very quiet and fresh nights also with the window closed, very kind people in the reception. I would allocate more space in the rear court to dry sea towels and swimsuits
Lovely hotel siuated by the port, and brekfast on the terrrace
Very friendly and helpful staff. Super clean room, great view over harbour, good local parking.
Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely view of harbour from terrace, very central for beaches and restaurants
Qualtiy of service and excellent location Parking a bit restricted in the area
Location is excellent.
Terrific staff and wonderrful facilities. Right across from the beach and next to the town hall. Easy to get to everything in town and along the beach. No
Close to a great beach, and plenty of excellent restaurants. Staff made it very pleasant, and English speaking staff was excellent. They were very helpful. The reception area had a great ambience and excellent views of the plaza below and Mediterrean right across the plaza. Had to park on the street near the hotel. Made me a bit nervous, but had no problems finding a parking spot and leaving the car for 2 days. Hotel is on a plaza, so is land-locked. You can pull into the plaza with a remote you can pick up at the front desk. This made it easier. Entrance was below reception. There was no lift until you were at the reception level, however I had help with getting my baggage into the hotel.
located right on the promenarde with godd restraunts nearby.
The hotel was in a very good location. The owners were polite and helpful. We thought that it was a shame that the owners were not available after 10pm, so new visitors who arrived after that time were given a code to enter side door and so were not greeted on arrival. Room keys were left on table near side door. This did not apply to us as we arrived in afternoon. Also we felt that the bar should be open in evening so after eaing out, it would be a good thing to be able to have a coffee or nightcap before retiring.
Fantastic stay. Close to beach and plenty of restaurants to choice from. Close to other major cities and towns. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pleasant stay.
The location of the hotel was excellent as it was right in the centre of Le Lavandou. The owners of the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice, although when we ordered coffee late in the evening they did not charge us for it.
The owners of this hotel were so accomodating and pleasant. They went to great lengths to take care of their guests and keep their hotel in great condition. Excellent location along the coast and the rooms are comfortable and a good size. Breakfast at the hotel was worth the cost. This sea town is one of the nicest along the coast. The nearby village town of Bormes-les-Mirmosas is a must to visit.
It is well placed in Le Lavandou, convenient for beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Pleasant to sit and watch the world go by with an Earl Grey. Being disabled, the flight of stairs to the reception (which is where the lift starts from) was somewhat daunting. Parking for the car was difficult and meant a long walk (for a disabled person). The shower room was verging on dangerous. A serious fall in there and the door could not be opened from the outside, it would have to be removed from the hinges.
Close to the beach and in the middle of the resort, helpful manager. no parking.
close to beach room no 9, view to a backyard
The pool area was great and clean, breakfast good, easy parking Could only buy a bottle of wine at dinner which was expensive, could not buy just a glass of wine. No selection of meal options
Setting of premises Location. No alternative bars, as hotel one closed around 21:30 !
Hotel exudes the charms of South of France. Location good close to a beautiful village. Management team very helpful. Not easy to walk out in evening as road was too busy. Also needs a choice of 2 dishes on fixed menu for half-board.
The owners were very helpful and kind. Small hotel, did´t spend much time in the hotell but don´t have anything bad to say about it. Off course it depends on the expectation you have. Location is perfect, 5 min walk to beach and the port with all the restaurants. Got a lot of god restaurant tip from the owners :)
Personal service;very helpful;2 stars but clean,local to marina,good value
The staff were lovely and helfpul, it was very clean and close to everything. I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was easy to find and the owners were very welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm, with very good bathroom facilities. Continental breakfast was fresh, ample and very good value. We spent six nights at the Mediterranee and were very satisfied.
THe Hotel offers good accommodation in beautiful surroundings
The hotel was in a beautiful situation and offered good meals and facilities. The clientele was largely older french couples during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Meals offered were of a good quality
Hotel heavily children focused (they seemed to be doing a good job of keeping the kids entertained), very helpful staff, although bar facilities limited. Would not recommend for a couple on their own. A great location. There were no comfortable seating/relaxing areas to return for a “night cap” or sit during the day. Rooms also very economical on space; whilst clean, now becoming very dated.
Easy access and parking , well positionned with seaview for some rooms , breakfast buffett fresh and tasty. Personnel is nice. They managed to provide us a seaview room with balcony. It's more a house for retired and disabled people ! As active visitors you get quickly depressed by the "sanatorium" atmosphere. It's a pitty because the hotel position is great.
Excellent spot if you arrive late in the evening at hyeres airport and dont want to travel further in the dark...its only 5 minutes away The place is crowded with elderly - old age public, you got the feel you are staying in an retirement home (though of course nothing wrong with the elderly)
