Amazing location on a beautiful reef full of wildlife. Amazing staff, very helpful and very friendly, great food and a very comfortable bed. No complaints at all,our stay here was perfect. Thankyou all at Aga Reef :)
The breakfast was satisfactory: compared to other resorts we have stayed in that were of similar price and settings. One day the tea was "finished", only coffee available. Can't get a cup of tea at Breakfast - Really! At times the fruit plates were slow to be replenished. Liked how they had some local dishes for breakfast. The muffins, pancakes and scrolls added to the variety. The cooked eggs were always nice and the food overall for lunch and dinner was very good. Credit to the Chefs. Across the resort the staff were lovely, happy and welcoming. They were always asking how your day was and if they could get you anything. Would recommend the Aga Reef Resort - we really enjoyed our stay.
Clean, friendly staff, facilities were top class, complimentary activities were a bonus!
The fact that it is Samoan owned and operated made a difference. We got an upgrade for our wedding anniversary which was a lovely surprise. The facilities service and food was great. Really enjoyed interacting with the friendly staff. All the best to Taulima and Mizpah who were there finishing their hospitality training, they will be a bonus wherever they decide to work in the future. Loved going to sleep with the sound of the surf and having a deck over hanging the lagoon was awesome. You could watch the fish from the deck. Snorkling in the lagoon was safe and we got to see s variety of fish, clams and even a resident turtle. I liked the fact the Ricky was making an effort to reestablish the coral too. You won't be dissapointed if you stay here.
I can't think of anything
The location is great. Isolated, so very quiet, yet within easy driving distance of many tourist highlights. Can swim, snorkel and kayak right at the resort. Loved the balconies on all the rooms. We stayed in the garden rooms with sea view. These were fine. After seeing the the resort glad we didn't pay extra to be on the little island. Great location for restaurant. We enjoyed the snorkelling in the lagoon. Not too expansive but enjoyable. We loved having use of the kayaks. Loved the pool near the restaurant. Thought the manmade pool in the lagoon was a good idea.
The staff are very friendly, but, We stayed a week, and decided staff got less helpful the longer we stayed. Nothing too important but an e.g. would be instead of being offered tea or coffee, juice with breakfast as was the case the first 2 days, we had to find staff and request. No information provided on tides, current or where to kayak. The security man was the person that helped us most with this information. We wanted to book a snorkelling tour, but we ended up organising that ourselves. On checkout, we were told resort bus could have driven us around if we requested it. This is not in any information received. This is the negative, but the staff were still friendly and wonderful and made our stay fun. Maybe just a little bit Samoan and this could be a good thing.
