We stayed here on our first getaway after having a baby, for a friend's wedding. It was exactly the kind of hotel we love- luxurious, modern, quiet, and non-smoking. Being in Vegas it was a nice refuge from the smoke-filled casinos, and bustling hotel lobbies. The room was gorgeous. It was nice to have a kitchenette- though we only used it to heat up our leftovers. We'd certainly stay here again- and if we come back to Vegas, we intend to.
The pool was closed, which was a mild inconvenience- we were able to use the Aria's pool. The elevators felt like they had the heat on, but again- a mild inconvenience.
Clean, beautifully designed and greatest bathtub EVER!
Our room with a view of the Bellagio fountains and Eiffel Tower was incredible, for half the price of surrounding hotels. The suite was modern and spacious with a couch, two tv's, a kitchenette and dining table, and king bed. The bathroom was gorgeous. I found the bed to be very comfortable. The room and hotel were very clean - non-smoking everywhere with no slot machines was such a bonus. Walking to the Bellagio was easy and covered the entire way, so we didn't have to bring a coat.
There was *nothing* I didn't like.
Hypoallergenic room Full Size Bathtub Kitchen
It was very nice to know that housekeeping wanted to be diligent about changing towels and sheets, but since we did not wish to have either of these changed during our stay we left the "Do Not Disturb" light on at the door. Even with this, we were left messages each night of our stay asking if we wanted our towels and sheets changed.
Tge room was not cleaned properly and dirty. There was no coffee machine. The biggest issue was room being so cold. We stayed with our baby and it was unbearable. We had to call them three to four times just for heater to be adjusted, no luck. I would not stay there again
Cold and dirty room
Clean, great service, great location, wonderful experience!
Really is a great LV property. I've stayed at most of the 4 and 5-star hotels and this is one of the nicer ones, especially for the money.
Upon arrival, I really liked that the hotel is non-smoking. I was traveling with my 6 months old baby, so it was nice to not walk through a cloud of smoke or a noisy casino. The room had a beautiful bathroom with a tub big enough for our family to soak in together at the end of the day. We didn't use it, but the kitchenette was nice as well. The king size bed was comfortable. They provided robes and slippers when we requested. Complimentary small bottled waters in the fridge. Aria express tram was convenient.
There was a creaking noise from our ceiling. We didn't notice it when the TV was on, but when we tried to go to sleep it was loud enough to keep us up. My baby woke up several times because of it. I couldn't sleep for hours because of it. My husband complained to the front desk, but it didn't stop. It was contantly creaking until we finally gave up and asked for a different room. We had to move to a different wing at 2 am with a 6 months old baby. it took another hour to put her back to sleep. My husband and I were so tired the next day. They provided complimentary 12pm late check out, but told us to pay $20 for 1pm check out. No coffee maker in the room even with $35 resort fee. The sign said to pay $20 for it, so we didn't use it.
Great food, amazing suite, fabulous hotel staff, and great location!
After staying here for the first time after several visits we have decided not to stay anywhere else. The convenience of being able to get to the pool area from your room in less than a minute is invaluable. Having no casino changes the whole dynamic of your trip on a very positive way. Keep in mind the Bellagio and Aria are less than 5 mins and the tram around the property is fantastic. Our stay was awesome with a great view of the strip on the 45th floor.
Pool gets very crowded. They don't want to reserve too many chairs. Understandable but frustrating nonetheless.
I really liked the gym. You have weights, ellipticals, and treadmills. All you need for a vacation workout.
Reception gave us a room that looked into another room (and that other room looking into ours). I asked to switch rooms, and they gave us a smaller room. Later when I returned from dinner, room service had made up the sofa-bed. Reception apparently hadn't cancelled an order for the sofa to be made-up from a previous occupant. This all felt very strange and amateurish. I spoke with reception, and they sent up chocolate covered strawberries to apologize for their mistake. When the delivery person arrived, he rand the bell and knocked once before using his key to open the door and enter our room. We were already dressed for bed, and didn't have time to put on a robe in the time between the door knock and when the delivery-person let himself in. This also seemed inappropriate and amateurish. Last, the sheen of this hotel seems to be rapidly tarnishing. Many heavily used items in the rooms and in public spaces show damage. There is no attempt by Vdara management to keep the hotel feeling new or even gently used.
