The room was very clean and confortable as wellas the toilet. The breakfast was aldo ok and the parking facilitiets were excellent. I know it is personal but the pillows eere very inconfortable. I asked for another one at the reception desk and there were no pillows available.
Very clean, well furnished, sound proof, spacious and very good value for money Everything was perfect.
Location, handy by car for airport and Bordeaux hospital. Clean, comfortable and good value.
Easy to get to by car, secure parking, reasonably sized room, value for money compared with other budget hotels
comfortable bed and spacious room it would be better if you could say how to find you easily - which junction etc. we got lost trying to find you in Gradignan
Hotel was deserted when we arrived and although the keys were left in an envelope there was no details of the code to enter through the door if we went out. Restaurant was closed and only by luck we found a restaurant. No advance notice was given of this status.
Staff and rooms where ok, however the general places looked better then the rooms. The closet wasn't fixed good to the wall. When you sit down you was afraid to fall. At the shower I couldn't get the water colder
Flexibility for arrival time, customer care.
The fact that the staff member on duty was very helpful as we arrived late. The price of coffee
Pleasant and helpful staff: The hotel swimming pool was dirty and the electric lights in the pool were hanging loose and dangerous. I wanted to have a bath but this was not possible as there was no plug. There was no plug for the sink either. For 57 euros per night I expected to be able to have a bath. I did ask for plug but did not get one.
It was easy to find. The restaraunt was closed, it was saturday! The Massive problem there was no Airconditioning, and the temp in the room was 30 plus! We had to go to and buy an electric fan. But were still not able to sleep for more then two hours! We booked for two nights but only stayed one! It could be a great hotel, nice pool, well looked after but No Aircon, Big issue.
Nothing. With strong objection the opening times of the reception did NOT correspond to the advertised times. We arrived early but within the published times only to find that the reception was closed and the hotel locked. Not at all acceptable after 8 hours driving. After telephoning the number on the door a poorly trained receptionist arrived to open the door who clearly had a very bad attitude and could not care less. Although the hotel information stated there was a restaurant it was closed !!! Absolutely unacceptable after a long days drive.
Easy to find - good size rooms
Comfortable, convenient location from which to explore the Arcahon Bassin
It was extremely convenient for our prime purpose in going there which was to visit the Le Teich ornithological reserve - one of the best reserves in Europe. The hotel was clean and efficiently run. We were disappointed that the hotel restaurant had recently closed which was not apparant when we made the booking.
Nice staff, very clean room, very good value. In a quiet (at present) situation. Maybe that it has no restaurant.
Clean, confortable and good petit dejeuner
Convienient to Motorway and Dunes de Pilate
The Hotel was easy to find and close to the highway and near the Le Teich ornithological park (you need a car to get there). Rooms were not fantastic but were new, clean and and had very decent bathrooms. Excellent value for money.
The street lighting to the hotel was off the first night which made it very difficult to know where to turn off as it is so underdeveloped around it. The signs to the hotel were difficult to find from Le Teich we had to ask at the local presse to be directed to the right route. We found the shower very small ( we are quite slim )! and the dining room too tightly packed which made it hard to choose and move around the bar.
The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good. The hotel was quiet and the parking no problem. The hotel is not finished yet. It stands next to a busy road and not in the middle of the forest.
Just off motorway but reasonably quiet. Good for Parc Ornithologique, and Gujan-Mestras, where the seafood restaurants are good value. Didn't go to beaches at Arcachon but thay are a short drive away. Air conditioner in one room leaked water from ceiling onto the floor.
The waiter in the resturant The hotel smelled of public toilets. The room was dirty, and the beds and pillows were un-comfortable.
The hotel restaurant was very good. Rooms small and not very clean.
The breakfast was fresh and good quality. No evening meal available on Sunday. Not good after driving all day !!!! Had to go outside to get to Hotel restaurant ~ in the rain ?????
Staff were friendly No restaurant facilities on Saturday evening and all day Sunday, Church clock stars chimming loudly from 7am. Room very small as was the bathroom.
The character and style also we were made very welcome Nothing other than there was no lift
I have stayed before and I like the fact I can put my motorcycle in a secure garage and the food is also very good. The cost of staying there has gone up quite a bit over the past four years
Good location for my purposes; fine restaurant
house was clean and comfortable kitchen could have some cleanig materials
size of property and security
self catering facilities limited reception opening hours
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They do speak English. I needed help with setting up my Internet, and a network technician came to my room immediately and did everything fast and professionally.
Nice apartment for the family - good size and clean. The pool was out of use during our stay and we choose it specifically in the area because it had a pool. No discount was given to us because of this.
own space not finished facilities not ready.
Very Calm and Clean
structured as a village, very beautiful, new buildings and new rooms very peaceful very distracted service. ............ various things in room miss. .......... soap, toilet paper, towels, phon. ...... however all it takes is phoning the reception and the all it arrives
large suite, good kitchen facilities, nice bathroom, good pool. wouldn't stay for a holiday as location not great but ok for a stop off. Floor had been swept and looked clean but feet were black after a few minutes as it needed to be mopped
Handy for airport. good base for exploring region, poor for local restaurants within walking distance. Poor finishing of interiors, lack of basic supplies.
It was close to the motorway and a nice quiet location. Hotel was good and staff friendly. The bar/restaurant does not open Sunday evenings like most of the restaurants in the area
Good reception staff, pleasant & polite restaurant staff. Clean facilities Bar prices too high - 10.50euros for 2 large beers that were not completely full - we thought was excessive & poor value for money
The room was clean and the hotel was adjacent to the highway. The hotel was understaffed and was abandoned at check-in time. The room design was impractical - in particular the bathroom. Poorly thought out room design was an annoyance during our stay.
The restaurant meals were excellent. They obviously have a very good chef - for a budget hotel this was very unexpected. We ate at the restaurant for three nights in a row and every meal was top class. The yound waitress was very efficient and helpful. Her wind and food suggestions were spot on. The Manager was also very helpful. The hotel is almost new and the rooms were spacvious and clean. La Brede is a good central location for both bordeaux aiport and the vineyards. Nothing really
very convenient en route hotel nothing
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Quiet. Good restaurant with friendly staff. Nice soft bed, but unfortunately had developed a distinct concave shape to each side of the matress.
free wireless , high speed internett!!!!!!!!!! airco did not work !!!!
Lack of signage and no direction from staff, took 15 minutes at the end of a 550 mile drive to find the room
The welcome is friendly, staff is helpful, restaurant is neat and tidy, and the food good and choice not boring. Especially fish courses The fact to check in and out outside of the sleeping quarters.. Not to have a shover cap and a hair dryer...
It was easy to find and on our route. The breakfast was fine, no complaints. Despite being beside the motorway, it was very quiet. The room was really very small as we needed to put in a cot, but as we were passing through it was not a problem.
The services qnd resto of the Campanile chain The situation in a very poor neibourhout
good location very quiet Didn´t like restricted evening meal, better and more varied selection of food in other Campanil hotels
The chateau was beautifully restored by the owners and they were charming hosts.
Village location but close enough to city for visits and meals. An all year round hotel that looked very off season outside. Untidy gardens and stacked up furniture clearly visible.
we liked the peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness of rooms and grounds also the pool and facility of bicyclle hire we thought it would be nice if there was a bar or simmple restaurant to enjoy some company of an evening,as there was very little evening activity in the village (tthe local bar was clised)
The Hotel was Fantastic! Everything was perfect. Breakfast, Bedroom, Garden, Swimming pool. I will stay again and enjoy this beautiful place and service. An early check-in was possible, and we were upgraded to a better room. Stay here if you come to Bordeaux!!!!!!!!!! This is just hotel policy, but 15 Euro for 1h extension of stay is expensive.
Very peaceful, luxurious and beautiful walks at dusk. Perfect end to our holiday travelling around St Emilion and Bordeaux reqgion. Perfect location to get to airport with ease, and far enough to experience the tranquility of the area. Beautiful Chateau. ... the weather could have been a bit warmer and less cloudy! Apart from that, perfect.
A quaint hotel with friendly owner situated among vineyards. Large rooms with kitchenette but no restaurant - 3 mins drive. Breakfast included.
The setting. This is a work in progreass hotel.
It is a peaceful setting overlooking a vineyard. You ar in the country, but in 5 minutes you can walk to the bakery, a restaurant, a brasserie and tourist information. It was quaint, peaceful and full of antiques. Breakfast was included in my room rate and was very good, lots of choices. The staff are very friendly and offer restaurant suggestions in town and a few towns away. There was a terrible rain storm one night and we woke up to 2 inches of water in our room. We were in a room on the main floor on the lowest level. Our hosts were very gracious to move us out to another room and very apologetic. The soil is clay with crusshed rock on top. Unfortunately it rained to heavy and long for the ground to absorb the water.
The accommodation and owners were both lovely, they did everything to make us feel welcome. I would recommend it. The only thing was the gravel in the inner courtyard which made it difficult for my partner to walk and to wheel my suitcase across to my room, it would be better if it was a solid surface, also as it was raining it was a little bit messy. Secondly, in the room there was nowhere to put our case and I felt awkward as I had to place it on top of a very nice chair.
Nice enviroment, kind staff and beautiful rooms. Noiseless and relaxed. For those with children there is a new McDonal just two minutes away.
