With a stay at Les Fréjals in Compeyre, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Cévennes National Park and Acroparc du Mas. Featured amenities include a library and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We were very comfortable at Les Frejals, with a lovely spacious room, use of a guest lounge, and parking on site. Martine and Luc made us very welcome and helped ensure we made the most of our time in their part of France. Compeyre is a beautiful village, full of interest, not to be missed.
Pros: Everything was amazing-great location, wonderful hosts. Best breakfast we had in France! Very comfortable room with a great shower. Try to give yourself a couple of nights here!
Cons: If you type the address given by booking.com into gps it doesn't take you to the right location, and takes you down some very old, very narrow streets. Just drive past the main village of Compeyre and you will see signs-or e-mail the property beforehand for directions. We arrived later than we had hoped and it was difficult in the dark.
Pros: Les Frejals, and our hosts, were absolutely faultless in every respect. We were delighted with the accommodation, the breakfast, the location and meeting the other guests.
Cons: We cannot fault anything whatsoever!
Pros: The hosts , house and view and incredible
Pros: Everything was just very neat and comfortable. The owners went out of their way to make our stay a very pleasant one. Just top!
Pros: The facilities are wonderfully renewed and decorated with impecable taste looking to make your stay more enjoyable. Garden is a beautiful complement to the house and makes breakfast a truly great start of the day. Every detail in the breakfast is considered! Luc and Martine really fucus to make your experience completely pleasant. They are the best hosts to make you feel at home.
Pros: Awesome property, great hosts, couldn’t do enough for you
Cons: Nothing, it was superb!
Pros: Lots of space, both in bedroom and surrounding facilities (lounge and kitchen, great garden too). Great breakfasts with home-made elements. Martine and Luc were great hosts, providing lots more information and support. Just 15-30 min drive from Millau, Gorges du Tarn, and several other sites. Will definitely consider to visit again!
Cons: Can’t think of anything, really; a wonderful little castle!
Pros: The owners, the room and breakfast!
Cons: Nothing! All was great
Pros: Maritime and Luc are super nice hosts who see to everything you need. Breakfasts were feasts. You have here the natural world at your feet and all the earthly comforts one can ask for. Gracious help with travel on Tarn and Jonde.
Pros: What a lovely B&B. The photos are accurate. We were there off-season for 2 nights. Our room had a balcony, which would have been lovely had the weather cooperated. Anita and Pascal are welcoming hosts. We speak only a little French, so communication was limited, but that was not a problem. Wonderful breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room with a huge inglenook fireplace and lovely antiques. As no other restaurant was open on one night of our stay, Anita and Pascal served us an elegant, wonderful dinner of beef bourguignon. The wifi was great – better than most we had on our trip. The area has many interesting things to see. Boyne is a small village and a great place to stay if you are in the area.
Pros: Lovely couple who own property. Helpful about things to see.
Cons: Toilet between two other rooms so felt self conscious using it.
Pros: If the rooms in La Petite Boynarde were larger it would almost certainly score a perfect TripAdvisor 10. The hosts are delightfully friendly and helpful. The location is central for a day trip to the Gorge du Tarn or the hillside, scenic village of Peyre and its spectacular view of the viaduct at Millau, and the road to the impressive ruins of the Chateau de Peyrelade virtually starts in the back garden. The house has a large external patio overlooking a small creek and stone bridge, an ideal location for a glass or two of wine at the end of the day. The dining room is very impressive with its enormous fireplace, even more so when the breakfast fare is laid out. The hosts go to a lot of effort with the breakfast, providing homemade cakes and jams. Anita also made some special gluten free pancakes for my wife. One of the best continental breakfasts we have had during our 4 week stay in France. The perfect score miss is almost certainly a result of the small rooms, hence the Petite in its name. Ours had a separate toilet and bathroom and a small balcony, with a table and two chairs, which increased its spaciousness. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The tariff was very good value so RECOMMENDED if you are not allergic to a small room for a night or two.
Cons: The hosts have put a lot of effort into the communal areas for the guests, the dining room and riverside patio, and into their continental breakfast but probably need to slightly upgrade the facilities in the rooms. They do not provide toiletries except for hand wash, or tissues and the towels are a bit small and thin. Tea/coffee making facilities are not available in the room, possibly due to space or power point issues, but they are available in the dining room. The 5.00 pm check-in is also a bit late for the travelling tourist. Minor negatives in many respects but they do create negative perceptions in a guest’s mind and are easily rectified. Still RECOMMENDED.
Pros: Very friendly owners although they spoke only little English - but that is our problem. Very good breakfast. Enjoyed meeting other guest at breakfast. I would certainly stay there again. As a bonus there was a hill climb in the village. Great fun.
Cons: Little disappointed that we didn't have an en-suite toilet and bathroom. We did have our own but had to venture onto the landing to get to it. Also parking was under a tree which dropped very sticky sap during the evening.
Pros: Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. What more can you want from a one night stop.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Pros: Everything was great! The hosts were such a nice couple and although we spoke no French and they do not speak English, we were able to communicate. We met 4 other couples staying at the B&B and all enjoyed a homecooked meal together the first night of our stay which was very good. The room was very clean and we enjoyed sitting on the tiny balcony attached to it. The location is great if you are interested in kayaking on the river Tarn as it is only a 4 minute drive to a company called Aqua Soleil which offers a 8km or 16km run. We really enjoyed our time!
Pros: very clean
Pros: Pascal and Anita were wonderful hosts. They were helpful in planning our activities and accommodated our requests. Breakfast was delicious. Home made baking and local fruit were real treats.
Pros: The accommodation was perfect for us. Quiet, comfortable, tastefully decorated. Our hosts were charming, very welcoming and helpful. Very good breakfast too.
Pros: Large comfy bed
Cons: Everything was fantastic
Located in Mostuejouls, Villa La Muse is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Cévennes National Park and Gorges du Tarn. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location. Spacious and well decorated bedrooms. Delicious home made breakfasts and very friendly and helpful hosts.
Pros: Every thing
Cons: The gravel drive, very steep and cambered. Not good on a bike
Pros: Excellent location for exploring the region! Very helpful hosts. Jean-Claude is a real encyclopaedia! This was our second visit at Villa La Muse and a third is on the cards!
Pros: Beautiful location in the mountains near a small lake for swimming and water attractions. Very attentive hosts. Lovely dinner in an intimate setting. The building has been updated and offers a feel of French country charm combined with modern conveniences and amenities.
Cons: The rooms are not very sound-proof, so you can hear voices, footsteps, etc. through the walls.
Pros: Very friendly welcome. Room was perfectly prepared including baby bed for our daugther. Everything very clean and in good condition. Views from room very beautiful. Nice outside pool. Our daughter loved the bunny in the garden ))). Very relaxing athmosphere. To go to such a nice place with a small child is always a gamble, not everyone is amused by the noises and activities of small children, but we felt very comfortable here.
Cons: What could be improved? Well, maybe a bit more shower gel in the bathroom....but for sure, had we asked for it, we would have got it. In principle we hope the good standard will be kept and we can return again
Pros: A wonderful location and beautiful house. Adeline was so kind and helpful during our stay, giving great advice on local hikes and where to eat. The breakfast each morning was delicious, setting us up for the day. Our room was so nice and bright, the sun shone in each morning and lit up the beautiful views of the Gorge. A truly special place.
Cons: The only negative is that the rooms are quite noisy, but only really the floorboards.

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The property was really different, peaceful and quiet and away from it all. The room was huge, as was the bathroom. The hosts were lovely, they had only a little English but they made us welcome. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Our room was quite dark, and the floor was very creaky! We would have benefitted from a fan as it was warm at night and it was a bit hard to get air in.
Pros: Bfast good. Great view from room. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Would have been nice to have been offered the choice of dinner at Chateau as restaurants were some miles away down a very windy road. Other Chateau do this.
Pros: Fabulous chateau, very quiet, wonderful view, superb breakfast and home cooked 4 course dinner with the friendly family
Cons: Do not trust your satnav or the booking.com directions. We were sent down an unmade road. Follow signs in the village instead.
Pros: Loved staying in a French chateau. Breakfast was amazing... beautiful homemade jams, baking and local produce including a basket of freshly picked cherries! Family very friendly. Frank was exceptional at looking after his guests. He spoke much better English than our limited French. We appreciated swimming in the pool - very hot when we stayed.
Pros: Lovely chateau owned by a lovely couple with a young family. A different experience to staying in a hotel. Fabulous breakfast with home made jams etc.
Pros: Friendly host arranged charging of our electric cars, booked our restaurant and provided a lovely breakfast.
Pros: It's a castle so don't expect all the twentieth century luxury and comfort as it would spoil the whole experience. Large room with seating & table, amble original wardrobes, magnificent on-suit marble bathroom in the tower with views across the Tarn valley. Comfy bed slept like a log, spoiled for choice at breakfast with plenty of homemade jams, cakes and flans plus the usual eggs, cheese, yogurts, breads etc.

The house furnished with beautiful antiques, has a calm garden with an amazing view on the mountains. Room and bathroom were large, very clean and comfortable. Pros: The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful.
Pros: Relatively cheap room for one night stay for tourists with car. The house is quite old and authentic, it gives a clear picture how people lived here years ago. Nevertheless the room was clean. When we came in the evening after dinner, all parking places were occupied and the owner gave her private place for our car. The breakfast was fine and big enough.
Cons: The shower was in the room, which is unusual. Poor wi-fi connection.
Pros: We had booked a double room. Upon arrival we received the key for a room on the 2nd floor. The room had been occupied before by someone else. Immediately we received a key for another room, with apologies, on the 1st floor, a twin room (more expensive). Staff is very friendly and room was very clean.
Cons: Breakfast is not included, it is 9,50 euro p.p. it is a good breakfast, enough choice.
Pros: Francesca was a wonderful host, very welcoming even though we made a late reservation, she greeted us and was helpful with local knowledge and sites.
