6.0 Good
Pros: Quiet place, but not much to do in Vauclin. The hotel was OK, the staff very nice.
Cons: -
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good water pressure. Older but well taken care of property. Friendly owners.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: No door to the en-suite. A window so high up you could not see out. Nobody could communicate in English. The owner claimed he did not have our booking when we came so we had to come back two hours later. No fire alarm. The hotels washing hung on the top of the staircase, just outside our room. It was clean but a very strong stench of chlorine. Unfortunately the beaches on the east side of Martinique are full of Sargassograss (do not know the proper name) so the beaches could not be used and there was a horrible smell all over the village. The odour is supposed to not be any good for you.
Cons: Everything could have been better.
7.5 Good
Pros: The host was very hospitable. We had emergency situation, we had to look for place to sleep for 8 people. They were sold out but they gave us other beds to overnight.
Cons: Our rented car was destroyed at night in front of the Hotel but the owner helped us to inform the police. They hardly speak English.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is well situated close to the beach, town and ferry
Cons: The petite dejeuner was over priced at 22 euros although we were able to negotiate 15 euros which was the price at the time of our booking
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean, comfortable rooms. New and fresh. The bar at the terrace has a terrific view of the city and bay.
Cons: Somewhat cold and almost sterile in places, like the reception area. The location is a bit removed from the fray of the town, which could be a good thing if that's what you want or it could make the walk to get into the center of town a bit longer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast as it was delivered in the room was excellent!
Cons: The price is a little bit high for the value. We started by a disappointment when they gave us a room which was not clean yet... At 6pm!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location for carnival. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was ideal for me, within walking distance to every thing in Fort-de-France eg banks, supermarkets, markets, historical and cultural sites. Since it is close to the sea, the walk along the seawall/ Malecon is very nice with good views of Trois Ilets , Fort St. Louis and the town. Breakfast was superb. Eat as much as you want. The breakfast staff very nice and efficient. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful , friendly and efficient. Very comfortable bed and beautiful room. I slept soundly. I have stayed there before so I knew what to expect
Cons: Since the hotel is fairly new and modern it is difficult to find things not to like. However the free Wi-Fi did not sound secure to me
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Design to soup and nuts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in Fort de France. Great view from the terrace bar. Lovely staff, great service.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff is excellent really friendly and helpful. Breakfast and meals, in general, were good. The new year gala excellent. That is all.
Cons: I found that the services offer on-site were not true. They are no 24-hour room service. No evening meals on a Sunday, no lunch of Sat or Sun. No coffee machine in the room.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was ok, various things to choose from, although the drinks at the fountain didn't match the labels (which could have been a huge health hazard to me, the label said "passion fruit" when what was served was goyava juice and I'm allergic to goyavas)...
Cons: The check-in time is slightly later than in other hotels. The rooms are "no-smoking" but mine reeked of tobacco smoke. TV was not functioning, the bedside lamps lights were too agressive. The bed creaked like an old wooden floor each time I turned in it... No elevator.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room, general facilities, cleanliness, staff.
Cons: Distance and gradient to town centre.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast is fine
Cons: Cocroaches... what else need to say...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view
6.0 Good
Pros: Booked the properly for the short stay (to have a rest for 6 hours after the flight and before embarking the cruise ship). Selected the cheapest property in relative proximity to the city center and cruise terminal). The room was generally OK for the short stay: was large in terms of area, had good bathroom facilities and sound insulation. The main positive thing is that we were ultimately provided a room with 3 beds for free despite booked and prepaid room for 2 guests (we were 3 people and were planning just to have a rest for 6 hours and not sleep overnight - thus we had booked a double room rather than a triple one).
Cons: We arrived at 1:40 PM being very tired after 8-hour flight from Paris and were asked to wait in the lobby until 3 PM as our room was not ready (we had warned the property about our slightly earlier arrival beforehand). The lobby was overcrowded by other cruise passengers - it was very had to find a place to sit. The local staff was slow and did not demonstrate any signs of empathy - we were given our room key precisely at 3 PM. The room turned out to be rather dark and not very comfortable (though, large in terms of area). City center turned out to be not as close from the hotel than we had expected - had to walk there for quite a long time following not very comfortable road. Ultimately, had to take a taxi to go to the cruise terminal. The hotel location is actually not very pleasant and depressing with 20 minutes walk to the area of restaurants/ shops/ major sights of the city.

5.8 Okay
Cons: Swimming pool towels never available!!! Poor breakfast compared to the cost of it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The garden is a beauty. The location is perfect. The staffs are always their to help us.
Cons: When booking with ‘booking.com’ we chose a room with a kitchenette. It was clearly indicate that we have kitchenware in the kitchenette, but arriving at the hotel we have to pay extra for the kitchenette. The hotel says that its booking.com error and they should modify their web page.
7.0 Good
Pros: Ok for one night but at that price I would have expected better facilities.
Cons: Clearly not a 4* hotel. Swimming pool is quite small. Hotel is rather noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most of all we like the Palm bar in the swimming pool ;) The breakfast was also delicious and the size of a romm was great! Stuff is very kind!

Pros: Pool and poolbar are amazing. The view to gardern and garden itself is so cool. View to Creol village also very nice. Nice and helpfull staff.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beach proximity Bar and cocktails Swimming pool Lovely gardens
Cons: There could be greater food variety and more fresh vegetables Entertainment could be a bit more modern
5.0 Okay
Pros: It is a big hotel consisting of many small cottages in bright colors and also an apartment building. We had a room in the entré level in the apartment building with a small patio surrounded by walls so we could see the sky. The room had everything needed - but no luxury! AC, clean, shampoo, Kleenex, two towels per person, water bottle ...It is a three star hotel! The area was nicely kept with a lot of beautiful plants around the small cottages, like a fairytale village. The breakfast was OK even if it was a buffé serving. The dinner was included also a buffé. The problem with buffé is that it very quickly gets messy and "greasy" so also here when around 100 persons are served at the same time. The quality of food however OK. We also had a à la carte lunch at the restaurant overlooking the beach and that was good. Nice staff! Fast service. We spent some time by the pool which was nice, well kept and not crowded. Most people go to the the close by beach. So even if probably fully booked hotel it was quite and nice and you didn't have the feeling that there were so many people there. The only severe problem in this hotel was a not working wifi!!! It worked sometimes in the lobby but not always. We found this as a very big problem especially when you need to check flights, check-in flights, keep in contact with the rest of the world.
Cons: The non-existing wifi! So frustrating!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool Well maintained The buffet breakfast is good
Cons: Be prepared to understand some French. Very little English spoken. The buffet dinners were not very tasty. Not enough vegetarian choices and the Menu was only in French. There are restaurants in walking distance. Buy the breakfast only plan.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a great facility with spacious rooms and a very nice layout of little cottages. Right on the beach is amazing and multiple pools to use.
Cons: It was not easy to find the reception building when arriving at night. The location on maps pinpoints a warf on the extreme edge of the property with no signs pointing where to go.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The pools are very beautiful, the view on the ocean as well, and the balcony and the chairs on it were very comfortable.
Cons: I found it quite expensive, and the buffet was not to my liking. WiFi signal was very poor, and the shower nozzle was fixed to the wall in a very awkward manner, so you had to hold it.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Wide choice for every taste, fresh food and friendly staff. Restaurant located directly on beach.
Cons: The rooms looked slightly worn out and could have been cleaner.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the rooms and the food! The grounds are GORGEOUS!
Cons: More comfy beds and bed linens.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Direct on the beach
Cons: Very dark rooms, fool of mosquitoes, wet and not ventiladed. Food was terrible. Internet, was says on booking.com in all areas and free of charge. Its lie!. Internet was only in the reception but IT specelist disabled mobile ports. What is thats mean? Only computers and ipads can conect to WIFI. No Iphones or mobile devices. Also this hotel orentadet in old people who looking for full board meal.

7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful beach front location with nice onsite amenities.
Cons: It was a bit touristy and the times for when the Outside bar and lunch restaurant were open we’re not easy to follow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel property was beautiful, easy to navigate, and designed to aid in relaxation. The location was excellent—a two-minute walk to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store.
Cons: The property was slightly run down, but still a great value for the price.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was remarkable and friendly, it was a pleasure to talk to Lucien and GG at the front desk. Élodie in the office was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent
Cons: Our rooms 19 and 16 need renovation , AC not cool enough! Bath tubs dirty , building is neglected !!! It is a magnificent scenery which is not enhanced due to the lack of renovation and TLC. The parking needs additional parking spaces and cramped

Cons: Breakfast omg would have been nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staffs
Cons: Things were good enoughwe were well received
1.0 Poor
Pros: Staff people are nice
Cons: The hotel description says there is a pool, but it's very small, and there is absolutely no place at all around the pool to put your stuff. So nobody actually uses it. Location is terrible, you hear noise from motorway all the time. Bathroom is horrible, impossible to take a shower without putting water all around. Lots a other small cosmetic issues : cracks in the paint on the walls, etc...
7.1 Good
Pros: Good quality dinner at the restaurant, a surprise for a 3 star hotel. Food was inventive, well prepared and tasty. Prix fixe dinner menu 37 euros for appetizer, main and dessert. Also options to have only two courses at lesser cost. Breakfast hot & cold buffet was good quality, foods were fresh and appealing, but not a luxury buffet, just the basics.
Cons: Not a hotel for those with fear of heights. Built on a hill, you must cross a bridge to the 4th floor to check in. The rooftop pool is crossed by an open staircase that leads to the sun deck and hot tub. Hot tub water was tepid, not hot. The pool does not have change rooms. Only coffee available was Nespresso or a combo machine with powdered cappuccino, hot chocolate etc.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was good
Cons: Do not take nothing in the fridge when you take it you have to pay . It not free lol
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Restaurant with a limited menu and no soup. Staff was friendly. I will not stay there again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It would be nice to add one more towel per person, cause only one is not enough.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice hotel, all good. Only issue is hot food of breakfast looked like grey baby food so did not attempt but meant to be scrambled egg and sausages.
Cons: Hot breakfast

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff. Rooms were okay as well. Clean and neat. You can cook yourself if not you go downtown. The hotel is quit close to the restaurants etc. However if you walk you will need to climb since the hotel is located on a hill. So if your health condition is not good and you will walk around, then better book a hotel in the heart of the les Trois-ylets
Cons: A hammock near the pool
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I like most the view and the pool.
Cons: The cleaning, and the restaurant nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The kitchen for cook by yourself is provided for all rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really simple basic hotel and room but had everything you need inc fridge, cooker and utensils. Views across the bay from 3rd floor room were stunning.
4.6 Okay
Cons: location on foot tough walk up hill
5.0 Okay
Pros: The only advantage is a beautiful view, but only if you pay extra for a room on the 3rd floor without an elevator. Air conditioning is an advantage, but the outdoor unit is inappropriately positioned because it is too low on the balcony and when you sit outside, all the waste heat is blowing directly at you
Cons: Photos do not correspond to reality. Especially not the bathroom, after the reception was told that we wanted a room we chose according to the photos on booking.com we were refused despite the fact that the hotel was empty. The maid does not perform her tasks and apparently works without control. I understand the dust on the closet, but under the bed it can be cleaned up in a normal cleaning

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is not a luxurious hotel but it's clean and cute, and bedding is comfortable. The staff is nice and tries to help. The beach and pools are great.
Cons: The wifi was sporadic and weak, some of the sliced fruits in the breakfast bar were rotten and not removed (for 3 days, I had to dig to the middle or back of the display to get my slices of pineapple with no brown). I had to change room because of a serious leak in the AC system and no-one could move my luggage from the non-functioning room to the new room. I was given a new key to move myself and when I asked if they could put my luggage back in the original room after repair (I was there on a convention and was not around during the day), I was told that there was no one to do it. But with the "island state of mind", it didn't bother me too much.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Sea view from balcony is stunnig. Very good location, close to several lunch, dinning possibilities and small shops. Might be crowded in season.
Cons: The hotel rooms need a maintenance.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice location near the top of Pointe du Bout.
Cons: Air condition in room was insufficient, more noise than cooling. Dinner was of mediocre quality, better alternatives available near the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: great location and great staff
Cons: old building, not very comfy
4.6 Okay
Cons: Lot’s of mosquitoes in the room, VERY expensive for what it offered.

6.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast did not represent value for money. e.g. no omelette or scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon on offer. Only hot thing was a boiled egg, coffee and hot chocolate. At 8.30 there was very little fruit left and the croissants were all gone.
Cons: The water in my shower was not draining out. I was charged one euro for each time I asked for a taxi to be called for me and I wasn't aware of the charge until I got my bill. The windows in my room couldn't stay open.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was the only thing I liked about this property
Cons: The rooms were very dark and small. I felt like I was in a dungeon . They weren’t cleaned very well. Closets were super dusty . The bar and restaurant in the middle floor were not vegan friendly nor did they know what vegan was.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very good location if you want to cruise afterwards
Cons: Noisy
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Julia the manager was incredible, she was so good to us we can't say thank you enough! We will be back!
Cons: The bed was huge, the room was tiny, however it's a very old building, so we get it, maybe a queen bed or a Murphy bed would give the illusion of more space. :)) we loved this hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Location
6.0 Good
Pros: WELL SITUATED
Cons: HAD NO REFRIGERATOR NO RESERVED PARKING
6.0 Good
Pros: Very convenient for cruise terminal and the ferries.
Cons: Very noisy location. Loud music from various street entertainers and kiosks on the street directly outside the hotel until 2am. Most of the staff don't smile or say hello. Limited drinks choice in the bar. The room we had didnt look anything like the photo and didnt have a bath as described. Old colonial style decor but looking a bit neglected. Expensive for what you get.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent bed, very good breakfast, location cannot be better to visit FdF.
Cons: Room too small, hot water not really available, bathroom with a smell
6.0 Good
Pros: The bed
Cons: Loud Music from the bar. Very outdated hotel. They could not speak english, so it was very difficult to comminicate
4.0 Okay
Pros: Receptionist was very kind and helpful to us she found us another room that was acceptable. Restaurant there was a life saver since it was pouring rain. Breakfast was ok
Cons: Our 1st room the air conditioning didn't work and the window did not lock. They tired to put us in a single twin bed room which I said was NOT acceptable. If that was all they had to offer then they needed to find us another hotel to stay at. 20 mins later they had a room on the 5th floor that must have been a premium room for this hotel. It was acceptable so we decided to stay.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the cleanliness of the room, elevators was available for heavy loads, and lastly the breakfast was awesome.
Cons: Not a major issue but one of health concern the bathroom floor was a bit slippery when showering
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a very simple accommodation but very suitable for those who plan to be out and about alot. Rooms are spacious with basic decor. Well located just 5/6 minutes drive to downtown Fort-de-France but having your own transportation is necessary. Also just 6/7 minutes drive to the airport. Continental style breakfast with not very many options but it gets the job done. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay!
6.0 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: I wasn't able to charge my phone anywhere at the hotel. Very disappointed. Food choices for dinner was poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and welcoming...room had enough services inside...wifi works well, toilet super big...all in all was more than enough for an hostel...
5.8 Okay
Pros: Simple, basic, cafeteria decent. I chose it because it was close to airport.
Cons: It COST me 35 EUROS for the taxi to airport! Driver took long route. For the 76 euros for hotel, 35 for taxi=110 euro. I could have stayed in a more luxurious hotel In centre'Ville, and taken TCSP street car for 1.4 euro
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dinner food truly amazing! I could come back just for the food. Kudos to kitchen team!
Cons: Bed cover probably??

Overview Reviews
Located in Fort-de-France, Redoute Paradise is a 2-minute drive from Balata Cathedral and 14 minutes from Palais de Justice. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food was great, host was very friendly and accommodating and generous. Pool and hot tub are wonderful.
Cons: The property outside has a strong odor of compost that is a bit unpleasant at times when trying to enjoy the pool and hot tub area. The tent accommodations that we got our reservations for didn't really seem very inviting or worth the price - old Coleman tents with nice stuff inside... I was very grateful there was an indoor option available for us at the same price, it was much nicer inside.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The map associated with the Booking.com app didn't take us directly to the hotel, but after calling, the owner met us on the street and showed us to the property. After showing us to our room and the breakfast area, he then took us to a neighborhood Portuguese restaurant where we were able to get a nice meal. He was considerate, obliging, and very friendly. We were very grateful to him for his kindness. Our poolside apartment was clean, spacious, and very well equipped for a longer stay. We even had our own hot tub that we enjoyed. Unfortunately, we only had one night here and we'd recommend a longer stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: The bed was comfy but bathroom is not part of the room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was nice, with lovely garden. The owner was welcoming and mostly very helpful but keeps your Identification as "precaution".
Cons: Owner could have been more helpful when I needed help making a reservation at a restaurant. He started to help but then walked off before I had one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Patrick has built a haven of tranquility. Green relaxed, well designed and he gives the best of service ever. You can see he thought of every little thing (up to the 1 big metal cherry placed in each room). We were so happy to see the place when we got there and anything afterwards just improved.
Cons: Nothing about the property, just port de France has an early shut down so nothing really to do past 6. Highly recommended that you get some wine and cheese and stay at the pool (which was amazing)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic welcome and place. Patrick was very kind in every moment of our vacation. Superb breakfast. I recommend it to everybody. 10 + rating
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The aesthetics of the property was unexpected yet delightful. I loved the animals around the property, a good balance of greenery and water features. A cool mix of modern contemporary styles. The owner is a darling!
Cons: The property is not too close to downtown but can be accessed within 10-15 minutes by car.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind host, delicious breakfast, peaceful place, comfortable bed, nice garden.
Cons: It would be nice to have some snacks or fruits in the apartment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very accommodating owner who got up extra early to fix breakfast for us when we needed to leave early

Pros: The owner has been extremely generous toward me and fed me on the house when she learned that I had not yet eaten. The terrace surrounding 2 sides of the house is wonderful and breezy in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and the place is nicely furnished.
Cons: Better to get there by car (or taxi). No eating places in the immediate area around the house. In my room there were lots of mosquitoes at night.

7.1 Good
Pros: Perfect location on the main square, clean and modern room, comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi
Cons: We had an 8am flight so we got up at 5am to shower and pack. The water dripped and trickled and then shut off completely. Even the toilet wouldn't flush. We could not take showers and could not complain to hotel staff since their reception is closed until 9am. Bad ending to our stay.
