Cons: Housekeeping was lax, half the lights in bathroom were not working but had the previous day. No air conditioning just a ceiling fan. No 24 hour reception desk.
Pros: Location. property condition; all good
Cons: somewhat under-staffed during memorial weekend
Pros: The location and the service.
Pros: Beautiful setting, large and comfortable room with whirlpool bath tub, great restaurant and spa facilities. Friendly staff.
Pros: Rustic and charming with an incredible spa and indoor pool that was available for all guests and a great happy hour at the bar. The staff at the restaurant and bar, led by Art, was top notch and the location near June mountain was perfect.
Pros: Beautiful setting.
Pros: LOCATION...Location..Location.. we had an upper room with balcony overlooking pond.
Cons: I felt bad for those below us as the floor squeaked A LOT as we walked on it. They need to fix this somehow.
Pros: Nice newer rooms. Clean. Free internet.
Cons: Pricey and no free breakfast provided.
Pros: Atmosphere and location were great. Room itself was lovely.
Cons: First time there and did realize this was a second floor walkup. With a pet reservation it was difficult to use stairs at least three time. Room was very hot. A suggestion:Insulate all second floor ceilings to at least R30, w/ adequate attic ventilation.
Pros: Setting, room and dining room. Adjustment made to rate for the problems with the room appliances. Management was very apologetic-----as they should have been.
Cons: Room was not ready: Furnance and refrigerator had been shut down. Room may have been closed and not rented for some time. . The wine list in the dining room was very expensive----starting at $11 per glass and $40 for a bottle of $10 supermarket wine.
Pros: Beautiful location, great rooms with jacuzzi tub, balcony overlooking pond - very picturesque. Lush spa, indoor pool/jacuzzi. A bit more expensive than other lodging in June Lake, but actually quite a bargain for this level of accommodation.
Cons: Bottom floor hotel room can hear every footstep of the room above.
Awesome place to go in off season. Quiet. Pond had frozen over, lakes all around, mountains all around. Loved the restaurant onsite. Staff was super friendly.
Pros: The location! Quiet and amongst all the mountains and lakes!
Cons: We were put in a room with someone above us and you could hear every step from the moment the person above woke up to when they went to sleep.

Pros: This hotel has the best location in June Lake. You can walk to the Tiger Bar and June Lake Brewing.
Cons: The bathroom was a little dated, room could use some fixing up. Sidewalk outside the door was cracking and falling apart. Looks like they are working on fixing up the exterior hardscape areas.
Pros: The rooms are not modern or fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. Cozy. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. 2 other places in mammoth were unpleasant. We stayed here again because we knew what to expect, and we're happy with it. Price reasonable
Pros: It' was an agreeable stay, in the center of town.
Pros: wooden floor
Cons: When 395 is closed down due to snow, June Mountain Resort is closed.
Pros: Very warm, comfy bed, good view of the surrounding mountains.
Cons: The heater was a little loud.
Pros: cozy and simple, adequately equipped
Cons: door locks are very warn out, almost a problem to lock/unlock the room. Some corners/details are outwarn too.
Pros: The room was roomy and clean and the bathroom was updated. Staff was amazingly friendly! This hotel exceeded my expectations. I will always stay at the villager when I visit June Lake!
Pros: The rooms were clean, but had no clocks of any type, no phone of any type.
Cons: No alarm or any type of clock or phone
Cons: Some construction going on. Some mildew in the shower. Dishes were not clean
Pros: The people there are all so friendly!
Pros: This place was definitely small town cool. It was a mini apartment instead of a hotel room. the description of cottage was definitely accurate.
Cons: No hot water. We were not warned about that, but I can't complain. I simply warmed some water on the stove for a nice bath! Lemonade from lemons!!
Pros: Lovely trip. Clean. Nestled. Prime location
Cons: Nothing. All positive. Staff was extremely courteous

Pros: Even though it's right on the 395 highway, it's a bit out of the way from most resort locations. Mammoth is 24 miles away, but it is a bit cheaper than Mammoth too. Facilities are very dated and need a major makeover, but the rooms are warm and comfortable. Amenities are very nice in room with a microwave, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, iron, and coffee maker. Bed was a bit springy but comfortable. All in all, a decent value for the night.
Cons: Internet was spotty and slow, due to it being satellite internet...
Cons: The room had no air conditioning and no way to drop the temperature, it had a fan but there is no way for cool air to enter the room from the prevailing wind side so the room was uncomfortably hot until around 2:00 pm when the outside air temp dropped below 70 degrees. Small shower and the room was extremely confined with the king size bed. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
