Pros: Was in a lovely location and very clean
Cons: Bit dated needs updating but needs to keep its look, and the internet wasn’t good
Pros: Beautiful location as we have stayed there before. Lobby with the large fireplace and comfy seating areas are nice. Like how they have difft social functions in the lobby area thru out the week. Bath was updated. Pleasant friendly staff
Cons: Rooms need to be updated. Carpet, drapes and popcorn ceiling very dated looking. Saw a few large spiders in our room which was not good. They are remodeling the deck and spa area which was closed on our visit. This would have been nice to know before booking.
Cons: We were not informed about construction at the hotel. The sun decks and spas were not available, and we didn't have any views except from the parking lot. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for its views.
Pros: The hotel was very charming and was located right in the middle of June Lake village. Walking distance to everything. The hotel itself had everything you needed including laundry room, gaming room, coffee bar, and even a fish cleaning room. The staff was very friendly and even arranged ice cream parties and movie nights for the guests.
Cons: The pool was closed and they did some renovations which caused some noice in the mornings (from 8 am) - both temporary of course.
Pros: Pretty much walking fit restaurants and shops
Cons: Unfortunately the jacuzzi, BBQ, and surrounding deck area was closed for repairs when we were there. On of the main reasons we booked the hotel. Did not know this until checking in.
Cons: The spa facilities are currently under construction. The owner passed us some day passes for the spa at the Double Eagle which was great.
Pros: Quiet, quirky and historic. Well equipped kitchen, newly done bathroom, some thoughtful touches.
Cons: Unfortunately we couldn't access outside areas as work wasn't completed. Mattress probably needs renewing.
Pros: Charming and full of character. Lovely location.
Cons: Could have done with some fans in the room.
Pros: Exceeded expectations. The common areas have fantastic vintage rustic/old Hollywood ambience, while rooms are comfortably updated. Staff was very welcoming and helpful, including giving us passes to a lovely nearby pool/spa so kids could swim. Kids also appreciated sundae night. Our room had a king and a fold-out sofa bed; both were very comfortable and we slept very well. Nice to have a kitchenette.
Cons: They're currently doing construction in the deck area, so jacuzzis weren't available. (However, outside spa passes provided--see above.) Once complete, the deck/jacuzzi area will clearly be lovely, with a great view over the town and down to the lake. Happily, there was no bothersome construction noise at all. Not really a criticism, but we didn't notice the kitchenette had no oven until after buying cookie dough to bake.
Pros: Spacious one room condo with comfortable beds and good kitchen facilities. Friendly staff and ability to do some washing during our stay. Location in small resort of June Luke was nice and we spend some great days in Yosemite entering from the north.
Cons: Room did get a bit hot in July without air con but open windows and a fan more or less compensated.
Pros: Good location
Cons: It's dated. It's dark. In need of complete remodel. THE most uncomfortable mattress I've tried to sleep on. No HVAC.
Pros: Nicest hotel in June Lake. Location is right in the middle of town.

With a stay at Double Eagle Resort & Spa in June Lake, you'll be in the mountains, within a 15-minute drive of June Mountain and Gull Lake Marina. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It’s a beautiful space - idyllic almost. Room was great size, comfortable and clean.
Cons: I read reviews saying this was convenient to Yosemite. NOT TRUE. From Yosemite Valley, it took us 2.5 hours to get there through some harrowing curves. Beware, it’s across the park and you can’t get to the Yosemite Valley (where all attractions are) from this end of the park. Also, office and restaurant close sharply at 9pm and they won’t serve your family dinner if you walk in at 9:04 as we did. All they would sell us was salads.
Pros: Fabulous location, quiet, peaceful and easy access to everywhere. Cookies were fab!
Pros: It was a beautiful location and close to restaurants and outdoor activities in the area.
Cons: The mattress was very soft and squeaked every time I moved.
Cons: Pricey, but good
Cons: Dirty linen. Hairs on the bed. It was as if nobody cleaned the room after the last tenant moved out. The towels smelled of overuse
Pros: The tub and the food!
Pros: Location. Ease to get in and out. Quite
Cons: Advertise WiFi but service is poor and drops off all the time.
Pros: I must have been there on an off day. My first fish was raw in the middle and I had to wait 30 minutes for a new meal.
Pros: Whaaww! What a location, in the mountains, with a waterfall just above... Very nice rooms around a small pond. Nice pool, nice restaurant... We stayed 4 nights and I could have stayed longer!
Cons: Perhaps the only small downside was some noise from upstairs neighbors (just footsteps, all guests were very quiet). Next time I would ask for a room on top.
Pros: Breakfast was very delicious. Prices were good Service good
Cons: The visit in July. The room was too warm in the evening. The dishes had to be washed by us or we would have to pay $50.00 extra. WIFI wasn't working.
Cons: Price per night for this cabin rental was way to high not at all 4 -5 star —average at best—pool facilities fare not kid friendly.
Pros: Luxurious rooms, great staff (is wonderful), so many amenities and activities, both in-room and on campus. The spa building was amazing: locker rooms, huge workout gym, heated (somewhat) pool, hot tubs, yoga studio, etc.
Cons: Every room should have a microwave!! Floors need to be bulked up: walking on the 2nd floor--we feared we were disturbing the downstairs b/c of the shaking and creaking. Restaurant prices were definitely on the high end.
With a stay at Gull Lake Lodge in June Lake, you'll be 0.3 mi (0.5 km) from June Lake Marina and 9.2 mi (14.9 km) from June Mountain. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The property was perfect and the people who checked us in/out were fantastic.
Pros: Kitchen well equiped
Cons: Old beds, the mattraces need to be changed
Pros: Lots of space for family of five. Handy kitchen for making our own meals. Very close walk to park and boats. Extremely short drive to town with restaurants.
Pros: *brought our own coffee but used coffee pot :) Staff was very friendly, and housecleaning was attentive to guests and kept rooms stocked. Very welcoming and clean. Parking was great. Will definitely stay again.
Cons: We stayed in rm 1 Bodie; and the upstairs rooms make a lot of noise. Not sure if it was the extra door up there. But it sounded like furniture being moved at all hours of the day/night.
Pros: Gull Lake Lodge is at a perfect location: closed to both Yosemite Tioga entrance and mammoth lake and this place is quiet and beautiful. Host is super nice! Rooms are suites: they come with full kitchen and living room. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: Limited choice of food if you’d like to eat out without driving out of the town.
Pros: It was large, comfortable, plenty of linens and blankets. Nice Fireplace with lots of wood, lighter, etc. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with what you need, including coffee for cold mornings. I would recommend it! Heat in every room!
Cons: Nothing to complain about. My stay was very nice.
Pros: Simple motel in great location and very helpful staff. We loved our stay and would return anytime. Perfect gateway location for Yosemite and the surrounding lakes are lovely.
Cons: Nothing to fault given its budget pricing. Kitchen very well equipped and our first floor apartment was great.
Pros: The Hotel was clean and very close to Gull Lake. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros: Plenty of space in a King Suite. Decent kitchenette. Easy walk to restaurants or lake & mountain views. Friendly staff.
Cons: Needs a little TLC and might better be classed as a Motel than a Lodge. HVAC system made slightly annoying noise at night. Bathroom sink stopper didn't stop water at all.
Pros: It wasn't actually a Motel room but it was a whole apartment with kitchen, living room, and sleeping room. That wasn't explicitly mentioned (or we simply missed it) - so our expectations were more than met. Very nice staff, we can highly recommend this place.
Pros: Nostalgic quiet and peaceful
Cons: Walking distance to Gull Lake
Pros: Location was perfect for any fishermen located in between two of my favorite Lakes in the Eastern Sierra‘s. Easy walking distance to the center of town where we enjoyed fine dining and an amazing shopping experience. The room we stayed in was very comfortable easily slept four with all of our gear for the fishing season opener .
Cons: Older building
With a stay at June Lake Motel in June Lake, you'll be a 5-minute walk from June Lake Marina and 7 minutes by foot from Gull Lake Marina. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Next to grocery store. In center of town. Close to ski resort
Cons: Shower was either freezing or scolding. Shabby broken window shades. Bath towels old and falling apart. No tv stations no access to Netflix on the tv
Pros: It was cozy, and right downtown. Charming town. Instant hot water from tap and shower, and comfy bed.
Cons: It seemed a bit higher priced than the other similarly equipped motels. Parking is very tight in lot.
Pros: Have stayed here many times over the years. Great accommodations friendly staff. Would highly recommend
Pros: the bed was good. The air conditioner was good.
Cons: parking was good.
Pros: Real cute kitchen area. The dedicated smoking area had chairs which made it more pleasant.
Cons: It wasn't a good location for visiting Yosemite Valley if that is in your plans. It would have been good to have more outlets by the bed or a power strip for our phone charging.
Cons: Noise level. No a/c so we had to leave our windows open. Constant traffic noise.
Pros: Owner on campus. He made every effort to accommodate us at a busy time. We were able to occupy a room with a full kitchen, more than we needed and very nice, for a few days.
Cons: In the particular room where we reserved, the "kitchenette" was an adjunct to the bathroom -- a very small fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker -- no counter space for making a salad or sandwiches, no cooking surface. I don't know about other rooms.
Pros: This is an excellent property. Well located for skiers, fishermen, and other outdoor activities. If you want to save money, the excellent supplied kitchen has everything from, corkscrew to crock pot and all utinceles, pots & pans and serving services you will need. It's always hard to critique beds and pillows because of individual preferences. But unless you're impossible to please, I think you'll have a good sleep. Oh, the market next door has an impressive selection of meat, veggies, and staples.
Cons: The TV could be larger, but you didn't come here to watch
Pros: Clean and spacious room. Room was clean and well appointed.
Cons: Our room didnt have an air conditioner.
With a stay at June Lake Villager in June Lake, you'll be 8.9 mi (14.4 km) from June Mountain and 14.5 mi (23.4 km) from Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center. Featured amenities include a business center, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: located in city center. several restaurant & bars in walking distance. June Lake is very close by and is very nice. Moreover, you can visit Hot Creek, Mono Lake and Panum Crater from there. There also some hot springs and the ghost town bodie close by. Nice place to sleep after a stay in Yosemite National Parc.
Cons: no breakfast is offered, most expensive stay during our whole roadtrip. TV was not working except two channels or so.
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: I think that if you pre registered and the room is ready before check -in time . They should give you a curtesy call. That way you don't have to wait till 3pm. I'm just saying ONLY if the room is ready before check-in time.
Pros: Cute place to stay near the lake. Lots of room in the unit. Near the restaurants on the main strip. Very clean.
Cons: Parking was very tight. But that seemed the norm for the area
Pros: It was very close to the lake. And easy to get to. The staff was very polite.
Cons: The TV didn't work and the air didn't work.
Pros: Clean towel daily. Position close to shops and pubs.
Cons: Nothing really, just corners weren't well cleaned, the rest was good.
Pros: Cute village. cosy and comfortable room
Cons: Room was a bit small.
Cons: There was a weird smell in the room when using the kitchen sink. Smelled up the room.
Pros: No breakfast here. Fantastic location. Wonderful staff!!! Sweet little town.
Cons: Our room was not at all as nice as the ones that you show online. It was completely outdated and tight. If not for the location and staff we would have been very disappointed.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the check in process was very smooth
Cons: WE travelled in Summer and felt the room should have had a fan (at least) as it was quite warm and an uncomfortable night sleep
Pros: The location is great and allows walking accessibility to restaurants and brewery. Just a short drive to the mountain.
Pros: Coffee can be better, no tea in room! TV not working well
Pros: Pleasantly surprised with the upstairs room and the cozy feel of a cabin. The town is quaint and beautiful with everything we needed within walking distance. Wish we stayed longer to enjoy this little gem in June Lake!!!!
Cons: Nothing!! Perfect
With a stay at Lake View Lodge in Lee Vining, you'll be in the mountains, just steps from Mono Lake Committee Information Center and a 2-minute drive from Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: location was good
Cons: bathroom fan was very noisy, air conditioning moderately noisy, but switched on and of frequently. One day(sunday) the room was not made up or the towels changed
Pros: Convenient to sites. Great restaurant next door. Well stocked mercantile next door too. Ample granite counter space in our room. For the price of the room the bed linens could be better quality although towels were fine,
Cons: Rt 395 was noisy. Air conditioner was noisy too so it was either leave the window open or close it and turn on the air so either way was noisy all night. Bring earplugs.
Pros: We liked the good vibes of the place. Lee vining is a real nice town and there is a nice dinner close to the Lodge.
Cons: Nothing to eat if you arrive late.
Pros: The cabin was nice and the grounds lovely.
Cons: The shower is quite small and indoor chairs hard to sit on.
Pros: Staff was really nice and helpful.
Pros: Convenient and friendly Ideal spot for a fishing base Staff great Nicely’s good for family style food
Cons: The bathroom sink edge came up to my chest. I could not reach over the sink too ANYTHING. Very poor set up. Way to expensive
Pros: Cute, quaint, with friendly and helpful staff. Cafe next door was fabulous!
Cons: The bed was very firm...we like softer mattresses.
Pros: Beautiful grounds and very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing - all good
Pros: Cute tiny house, close to yosemite
Cons: It was very warm in the house, air circulation was poor. The largest window did not open.
Pros: Very basic lodge with just very basic facilities. But very expensive
Cons: Price, should have been 1/3rd of the actual price
Pros: Location is great for Yosemite
Cons: Not having a bathroom for the price we paid
Cons: Some of the light bulbs were out or the switches didn’t work
Pros: View of lake and location
Pros: The cleaning crew did a good job of cleaning the place. The condo is close to everything - dining, hiking, water activities. All comforts of home were available (except Internet and cable). The master bedroom and bathroom were excellent.
Cons: Guest bathroom has a smell, like sewage- possible plumbing issue?? Internet and cable were not working, possibly disconnected. Should not advertise wi-fi and cable if it has been cut off. Bring insect repellant..tons of mosquitos and they swarm the doorway they will get into the house. Check in time 4pm..but room not cleaned. I understand check in can be later however after a long drive from a.m. and doing activities until check in time, it would be nice to have 4pm check in actually mean that you can access a clean room at 4. We have a check out time of 10am..if we said we weren't ready to leave until later. I'm sure there would be no leniency and we would be charged extra.
Pros: Great location. One block from main street of town. Beautiful view of June Lake.
Cons: The beds are terrible and need to be replaced. Same with the couches.
Pros: The view
Cons: Screens need changing, mosquitoes came in
Pros: The location of the condo was perfect. It was located on June Lake, next to the marina and walking distance to the village. The size of the condo was very comfortable for our family of four and our 2 teenage kids each had their own room and space.
Cons: The condo has not be updated since the 80's. The furniture and bed linens are dated and need to be refreshed. We were there for 4 nights, but only given 6 towels for 4 people. With the daily hikes we were in need of a daily shower. This would not be a problem if they provided washing machine soap. We could of washed up some towels, but no soap was provided. Everything was bare minimum for the condo. In addition, I recommend that they get a coffee pot with auto shut-off. We accidentally left it on all day. To top it off, the smoke alarm is broken or needs batteries, not sure which but it was just sitting on a table. Finally, there was scratching in the walls at night, mice or rats is my guess. Its a shame because overall the condo is in an awesome location on a gorgeous lake.
Pros: Large apartment, convenient for group up to 6-7 people.
Cons: Tv didn't work ,no wifi ,hot water for a short period ,
Pros: Space, enough fresh towels, kitchen appliances all worked fine, location.
Cons: Not enough restaurants close by or grocery stores
Pros: Check in was easy. Ladies were friendly. We were able to check in early. Great location. Size of place was good. Nice unobstructed view.
Cons: Outdated, needs all new furniture. Uncomfortable couches, beds were not comfortable. Someone was in our parking spot on Sunday.
Located in June Lake, Whispering Pines is a 5-minute drive from Gull Lake Marina and 5 minutes from June Lake Marina. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nicely located and quiet at night
Cons: No place to plug in my electric hybrid.... Some black spots in bathroom sink(hole or mold-I didn’t want to touch it
Pros: Location is pretty.
Cons: I had to tape electronic device plugs to the electrical outlets as they were very loose. Bathroom smelled musty. I would also recommend to get rid of Kerig coffee cups as they are detrimental to the planet. Considering this hotel is located in nature surrounded by national parks, it would be the responsible thing to do. I brought my own coffee and filter.
Pros: View from the room
Cons: The manager (or owner) processed payment straight from the credit card without even asking us. He wasn’t even apologetic about it when he saw that we are not happy about it. Distance from centre of town.
Pros: Had a big comfortable bed. When we had trouble with the TV it was addressed right away. The WiFi worked.
Cons: It’s long in the tooth. The chairs in the bedroom are wobbly and poorly repaired. Furniture looks cheap. There is no air condiyand the fan they provide is very noisy.
Pros: The setting where the property is located.
Cons: The 10 AM check out. Also, I nearly missed a small sign in the kitchen regarding the $35 assessment if all the dishes are washed. We had used two glasses. Fortunately, I saw the sign and did the dishes
Pros: It was a family owned hotel and you could see the dedication in the service there. It was like coming home. And waking up with the wonder view outside the room was great
Pros: Hotel is rustic - as was expected in the mountains. Room was spacious for the the four of us - 2 bedroom with living room & full kitchen. Plenty of counter space for our fishing gear, snacks & drinks. Amazing view of the waterfalls & Carson Peak from our window.
Cons: A window screen was broken & we were attacked by mosquitoes for 2 nights before we discovered their entrance.
Pros: Our room was very quiet even though there were other “guests” close by. The location gave us easy access to town while giving us the peace & quiet of natural surroundings.
Cons: Bathroom needed towel bars to hang our wet towels. Also, there was a damaged section of flooring at the bathroom threshold that was a trip hazard.
Cons: no service
Pros: The only good thing is that there was a nice restaurant & lodge across the street.
Cons: I didn't like anything about this place. I prepaid (WAY too much in comparison to nice places, I found out too late, not knowing) for 2 nights, and if I could have found another place to stay on the 2nd night (I looked!) I would have forfeited my 2nd night and gone somewhere else and paid for that. There's a reason this place is the only place available in June Lake area--no one wants it. There is no air conditioning--only a single box fan that sounds like a jet engine. Fortunately I missed the really hot temps by one day. The furniture is very basic, old and shoddy. Wallpaper peeling. No towel bars or even hooks in bathroom. Shower curtain rod fell down. Kitchenette is extremely basic--few amenities. First night I was put in room next to foyer with outside access & sliding glass door, ice machine & stairs to 2nd floor--VERY busy and noisy. Got moved from that room. Motel is 3 miles from June Lake Village, not a good location. A 3.3 review is positively deceiving and not what I would choose--would be much less than that.
Pros: The view from the window.
Cons: It was over priced for the condition of the motel.
Pros: The view was incredible. The room was clean and comfortable. AND, the owner of the Hotel went far above and beyond the call of duty to help me recover a very important item that I had left behind in the room. She's my personal hero.
With a stay at Yosemite Gateway Motel in Lee Vining, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Mono Lake Committee Information Center and 15 minutes by foot from Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area Visitor Center. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good location, clean room. View is nice from the balcony.
Cons: No breakfast. No fridge in the room. Way too overpriced for a basic motel.
Pros: Location is good for travel to Yosemite and Mammoth National Monument. Excellent location to Mono Lake
Cons: We had two rooms, one room the TV and exhaust fan are not working. The other room the exhuast fan is too loud.
Pros: The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and travel to.
Cons: We were in room 4, rooms 1 thru 4 are located right up front on Hwy 395, although this was very convenient for access (no stairs up or down) these four rooms are separated from Hwy 395 by only a sidewalk. We arrived Thursday and the traffic didn't let up until 3am, plenty noisy. rooms was comfortable enough for 2, but everything is pretty well dated. NO MICRO WAVE, OR REFER. Only a TV, which was not used. come on this is a vacation. I'd rather have a refridge. Back balcony was terrific and great view. Staff and House keeping people were very nice.
Pros: Clean, couple of places for food over the road
Cons: Wifi was a bit hit and miss
Pros: Great location after spending time in Yosemite. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Friendly staff
Cons: The bathroom was clean but needs updating.
Pros: Good location for visiting Yosemite. Good mix of restaurants opposite motel.
Cons: Room provided with portable air-conditioners that were totally unsuitable for coping with the high ambient temperatures. Had to top them up with water through the night. Bathroom grouting was appalling. High price for what was offered.
Pros: Clean in bedroom, but the bathroom was questionable. The showers doors were replaced with a curtain, but the door rails left behind on the tub. By the bathroom door the wall was covered in plastic edging that was flattened out and appeared to have mol
Cons: See above.
Pros: quiet view bathroom reasonably priced
Pros: Great View !!!
Cons: No A/C
Pros: Cheerful staff, fabulous views across the lake. Great breakfast place just opposite.
Cons: Make sure you face the lake, the main road can make some noise.
Pros: Very nice place clean with good view
Cons: No fridge in room, there was cat although they say there is no pets allowed

Bodie State Park is 40 minutes’ drive away.
Pros: Staff was friendly and location was excellent, right across from Mono Lake
Cons: Beds were so uncomfortable and squeaky! Room was hot and stale smelling. Very expensive for a one night stay! The lights kept turning on and off, could have been paranormal???
Cons: No A/C in the room.
Pros: A lovely historic place to stay but the road outside is quite busy so earplugs for sleeping are recommended. This is a great place to see dark skies and do some star gazing !!
Cons: Busy road next to the rooms. The windows being made of wood don’t offer much soundproofing but it’s a small price to pay for the beautiful location
Cons: No access to coffee before 7:30. This is ridiculous for people who wake up and expect either a coffee maker, or access to coffee when the sun comes up. For the price of the lodging, they could furnish coffee earlier.
Pros: The view of Mono lake.
Cons: I rode a motorcycle and most of the parking was not paved. I had to park far away from my room. The included breakfast, sucked.
Pros: Location perfect. Beautiful view of lake.
Cons: Couldn’t sleep. Uncomfortable beds (springy and short). No air conditioning and windows cannot be opened without the blinds fully opened. Horrable road noise.
Cons: Nail hanging out of the floorboards, highway is really close so if light sleeper wouldn't recommend.
Pros: Such a lovely stay! The lodges are supercute and environment is cosy. When arriving we could smell the herbs from the garden, that are being used in the kitchen. Do try the food at the restaurant!! We had the best diner since arriving in the USA!
Pros: The bagel in the morning. THAT’s IT!!!
Cons: Requested two beds but was given one. I told them of their mistake and charged me an extra fee for a second bed. Their website showed two beds in the pic to choose a room, once clicked it went to a single bed. I Was traveling with my grandson who 6’1 and there was no way we both could fit in 1 bed. The room was RUSTIC!! 2 metal coat hangers that were all bent up and a plastic coat hanger. No television and the room had a mildew smell.
Pros: The property is quite old though appears being recently painted and updated. It is located right across mono lake so has beautiful view but as it is also right next to the 395 high way so can be noisy. The stuff are very friendly and the restaurant serves very good food as well.
When you stay at Boulder Lodge in June Lake, you'll be on a lake, within a 15-minute walk of June Lake Marina and Gull Lake Marina. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location - June Lake and the whole East Sierra are amazing with good access to East Entrance to Yosemite
Cons: Best described as a dilapidated motel. Has not been updated in many years. Certainly no sign of spa facilities. Grounds are just weeds. Bathroom was small with plastic panelled walls and ceiling tiles sagging from moisture. Room furniture was battered old pine and bed small.
Pros: The hotel has a great location overlooking June Lake and within walking distance of town. The staff was friendly and courteous. We are veteran travelers at this facility and have had good experiences.
Cons: This is for room 202. The baseboard was falling off the wall in the dining room, bathroom and the curtains were water stained in the living room and bedroom. The sliding glass door wouldn't lock. In the bathroom, your knees almost touched the wall and you felt like you would fall to the left when sitting on the toilet. The room really needs a good makeover. Common area outside was littered with remnants of water balloons. We've stayed at this facility in the past, but never room 202. Usually we called the hotel direct for reservations, perhaps this is the booking.com room?
Cons: Noisy both at night and in the morning
Pros: The only nice thing from these place is the location... others the rant was horrible place to stay
Cons: The rooms where not what they show on line... the office was a mess
Pros: There was no breakfast served which is not a problem. We leave very early in the morning. Location was wonderful. Close to Hwy 395. Quiet. Our room had a balcony with a view of June Lake. Room was nicely decorated and bathroom had 2 sinks which was very nice. Bed was comfortable. However there are some very serious issues. The whole complex looks very run down. Old cars everywhere. Brand new BBQ sitting here and there. Other appliances sitting around. Parking lot very bumpy. Door does not easily lock with old fashioned key. Finally gave up and not lock door when going out. No double locking when inside the room. Drawers did not open and close well. Screen door to balcony had no handle and cannot close all the way and mosquitoes came in. Office very friendly. Did not go to indoor pool. Place is very tired looking and owners obviously are trying to improve things. Signs of improvement projects. New railings here and there.
Cons: Safety issue if young women staying in our room since you cannot double lock the door. Owner can easily lock and open door but we did not have the right touch with the jiggling so we just left the door unlocked when we go out. We were not concerned with losing anything since nothing of value was left in the room.
Cons: Rooms stunk. Smelled like sewage. Patio door didn't open easy. Looks like off the track.
Cons: The bed bed room too small living room not comfy
Pros: The room was a last minute booking so I got a lot more room than I needed. It included a mini kitchen and separate bedroom....enough for a family. But I didn’t have much selection. I was coming to support my daughter and grandkids in the June Lake Triathalon and the location was fantastic. It is on the eastern outskirts of June Lake and only 5 minutes from Oh Ridge where the Triathalon was held. The only real negative (besides being much more than I needed) is that the hotel is rather dated. Electric plugs are not set up for today’s requirements for electronics (although the wifi worked well most of the time). The bathroom had no counter, just a sink and the back of the toilet. The shower was either hot or cold...getting a tolerable temp was a juggling act. but the hotel was clean. . And it served my purpose even if it was more than I needed
Cons: See above
Pros: Location and view was great. Rec room and fresh popcorn good. Owners pleasant.
Cons: Wi-fi in room would be good. Our patio screen door was bent and kept falling off its track. Microwave was burnt inside on the top. They said they would replace but did not while we were there.
Pros: Balcony with the view, our own kitchen, quiet nights.
Cons: Walk to the lake could be cleaned up.
