What are the pros of staying at Easyhotel Leeds?
Great value for money, right in. Really really helpful staff! Super friendly staff, large room. Room was clean. Good value for money. Clean and comfortable. Central location. The location and the staff were lovely. It was clean and staff were lovely. The location was ideal and the multi story car park was practically next door. Very handy. Very helpful and efficient. Excellent location helpful and nice staff. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Also the location was efficiently central. Concerning the room; the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and it was easy to get clean towels at reception, of fair quality too. Also nice smelling soap. Just very basic and right for the price. Box standard, clean and fairly quiet hotel. Can't complain. It's simple, no frills. Room and bathroom immaculately clean. Lady on reception was lovely and super helpful. Bed very comfortable. Good basic room, comfy bed, great location. Clean room smack bang in city centre around shops. Check-in was straightforward. Rooms were basic, but clean. Location wise is perfect. 10 min walk from the train station, and in the centre of Leeds. Everything was super duper.. You get what you pay for. Friendly staff, good central location, easy to find, comfy bed and warm and cosy. Very clean and bed was good. It was excellent with low cost. Small twin room adequate for our needs, comfy bed, clean enough throughout, can't complain for the price. Clean, easy check in/check out, nice staff, good price, great location. I got this room for the location as I wanted somewhere very central. Leeds is a small, walkable city and this hotel is right in the heart of it. Definitely a bare bones room, not even a toothbrush holder! Literally a couple of beds built into the floor and a bathroom containing a shower, loo and sink. But the room was very clean, the beds incredibly comfortable (I like firm mattresses so this was perfect), the aircon/heating was good and the shower was hot enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful, including the cleaners who were smiling and nice. I thought the decor of the room was very nice, giving a sense of cleanliness and modernity with the little splashes of orange being nice highlights. The baggage storage was useful too as it meant I didn't have to wheel my suitcase around.
What are the cons of staying at Easyhotel Leeds?
Need to pay extra for tv! Air con was stuck on. Window in room was locked. Can't access free hotel parking, after a certain time due to traffic bollards and traffic restrictions. The bed was uncomfortable, there's no bin in room and the pillows were really flat. Rooms are super small but it was expected as stayed before. Beds are rock hard, both got bad backs today! Very uncomfortable nights, hardly no sleep at all! And air conditioning wouldn’t work. There is no breakfast on offer but we knew that when we booked. Our access card to the room stopped working and reception reprogrammed it. On returning to the room it still didn't work. It was reprogrammed again but still didn't work. It was difficult getting the receptionist to leave the desk to check it out and it turned out the battery in the door lock unit needed replacing. 20 minutes to get into the room is not really acceptable and doesn't define Easy Hotel. On arrival the staff member that greeted me was very nice and friendly. However One of the staff was quite rude to my friend in the evening. The room was sparse with nothing in the room whatsoever. By far the biggest issue is the air conditioning. You have a room with no window and air conditioning that doesn't work so you have no air circulation. dare I say this is a little dangerous. WiFi is terrible and insecure. Room was very cold and thermostat in the room didn't work to turn the heating up (despite me downloading instructions using the QR code provided). Coiuld have been a kettle in the room... No kettle in room, very small and toenails on the floor. Facilities weren’t always available etc kettle and hairdryer. Smelt of stale beer. Very small pokey rooms and no cleaning as standard. No mat outside shower so having to use towel for floor so I would slip on floor. Overpriced for what it was. Small hot cramped room and bed. Only one pillow each provided and only one towel between 2 of us. No basic facilities like glasses to drink from or tea/coffee tray, no hairdryer, no where for luggage or clothes. Most basic hotel I’ve ever stayed in will not return. Staff were roof the bed was like a rock.

Opt for a Window Room
Several guests mentioned that the windowless rooms were quite small and lacked natural light, so consider paying a little extra for a room with a window to enhance your stay.
Consider a Windowless Room for Short Stays
If you're only staying for a short period, opting for a windowless room might be a cost-effective choice, as it was found to be adequate for a one-night stay by some guests.
Take Advantage of the Central Location
The hotel's central location was highlighted by many guests as a major advantage, making it convenient for accessing shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Check Parking Discounts
The hotel offers discounts for a nearby 24-hour parking facility, which was greatly appreciated by guests. It's worth inquiring about this option to save on parking costs.
Be Mindful of Room Size
Some guests found the rooms to be very small, so if space is a priority for you, it's advisable to consider this aspect when booking.
Request Additional Amenities
If you require specific amenities such as a kettle or additional towels, it's recommended to request these from the staff, as some guests found these to be limited in the rooms.
Consider Noise Levels
Guests staying in windowless rooms did not experience noise issues, making these rooms a suitable option for those sensitive to noise.
Check Air Conditioning Functionality
Some guests encountered issues with the air conditioning, so it's advisable to ensure that the room's temperature control is functioning properly upon check-in.
Inquire About Luggage Storage Fees
If you plan to store luggage before check-in, be aware that there may be a fee, as some guests were surprised by this additional cost.
Be Mindful of Bathroom Privacy
The en suite bathrooms were mentioned to lack privacy due to glass doors by some guests, so consider this aspect when booking, especially if privacy is a concern.
