Excellent hotel, staff friendly and helpful, overall very good value.
very comfortable rooms good room service outside hotel alittle scuffy meals expensive
Excellent location in Centre of the Hague, very close to train station. Hague is only 30 minutes from Schipol Airport. Beds are very comfortable. Showers / Bathroom is clean and functional. Staff and services are a bit hit and miss. Internet and TV was not working. Breakfast is overpriced. My morning alarm call (from receptionist)mysteriously disappeared!
room + staff + location
The beds must be some of the best I have slept on. I travel constantly and live in hotels. This is better than my own house! Room is well sized and the decor is amazing. I had to point out to them that their pay channel TV was not functioning. They kept on telling us that the engineers are busy fixing it and will only take another 30 minutes. Needless to say.....3 days later we were still waiting for the engineers to fix it. The fact that they are currently building around the hotel makes it very noisy untill about 16:00 on a Friday.
It's in the middle of an ongoing building site - the heating does not work - the staff claimed not to know about my early check in requirement - the staff claimed the only room available was a suite at extra cost rather than the one I had booked - parking was non-existent and staff unconcerned
location, room (superior) v. comfortable; quiet despit warnings of construction nextdoor no Internet upon arrival, took more than 1h to solve the problem - then only through cable
The quietness, the space in the room.
The most comfortable hotel that I have ever stayed in A lot of building work in the local area
everything was very nice No
Clean rooms, breakfast buffet, 5pm checkout on Sundays A bit far out, but city can quickly be reached with bike or tram/train.
The rooms we're excellent
The location, nice neighbourhood, the hotel is brand new and perfect in every way
I was asked if i would like to have a room with a view of the town bat check in. Fantastic to give me the feeling that i can choose. No other nh hotel i stsyed with has ever asked me that. Keep up the good work. The long line in the morning to chack out.
The hotel, like all NH hotels is well designed without being stuffy. The breakfast was really good and went on until 12 on sunday which is amazing. We were also offered 5pm check-out on the Sunday for no extra charge. Staff were lovely. Would stay there again. Two complaints - the bed was a twin which they said was standard and the location - would have been nice to be a bit closer to the centre as trams end at 12.30. Great hotel for the price though!
I dont know - all very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nothing!
Large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff There are no nearby restaurants or shops, which are open in the evenings or on weekends
Excellent Room Rate was incorrect on checkout - luckily I'd taken a print of the booking.
very friendly staff, great service, great atmosphere in the hotel, loved the design, good breakfast buffet, great value for money location is central but not close to all tourist attractions, shops etc.
Nice comfortable rooms, clean, nice view, good breakfast The free WiFi is incredibly slow, almost unusable. Since I live in the Netherlands I could use my 4G connection instead, but speed of the Internet should really be improved a lot
The Receptionist was able to get my wife and I checked in very quickly as we were running late for an appointment. The rooms were very clean and modern
Excellent hotel, with outstandingly friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps the best hotel staff I have come across - and I have travelled a lot over many years.
Very nice hotel.
I appreciate very much the kindness of the hotel 's staff and the hotel generally. The city is probably the last place of Holland to be visited. Not too nice people around the city....
Hotel look, Staff
Location - it was close to the office (i was on business trip), but also close to the city if you want to dine somewhere nice (>10 min by car). Staff was very friendly. I had a car and parked on the street front of the hotel with no cost. The mini bar is very pricy, so you should bring your own drinks with you if you do not like the tap water.
Wonderful staff and room. Great price. Quiet area of town. I could relax and work without noise. Incredibly comfortable bed. The location was a little ways from the main part of town but the metro can have you there in 5 minutes or less. The metro was easy to use.
The staff was very helpful offering advice about what to see and how to get there. Public transportation is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If available, try to book a room with the 17 foot ceiling. Warm water falling from the shower head 17 feet above is almost like taking a shower in a tropical rain storm.
The energetic, enthusiastic staff. They offered their services at the slightest moment they could be of help.
Beautiful hotel very nice even better then the pictures of it
there is no internet access in the rooms, the wifi does not work in the rooms, only in reception. This is rubbish!!!
The decor in the rooms was very nice and the food served was lovely
The design. Nice breakfast and breaksfast room. Good size rooms, and bathroom. It's location is too far from the city center of Delft, needed to go by bus.
nice view, great interior design, smart features - hooks on the wall, good use of space
I liked the design of the hotel which was imaginative. The location is good, just off the main highway but quiet. The views were fine. The bed was soft. The cleanliness was so so (garbage not changed).
Clean and value for money
The food was excellent and the service good. Rooms and bed very comfortable No
felt welcome, good standard, good bed gaood food n/a
Quit hotel, nice facilities
Excellent design and good service
The bed was clean, and the exterior is nice looking. The place was dirty, the carpets smell and need cleaning or replacement. The breakfast was poorly plained, lacking in any sort of creativity or even thought. The microwave ruined breakfast bread. Another concern was the smell of the place, the room was non-smoking, but it reeked of smoke. The common areas smelled dirty, not just boat like. There is a greasy feel to the place. That said it could be nice with clean carpets, improved ventilation or just opening more windows more often, care to the food preparation for breakfast, and some updating in the decor.
Close to the park and the centre of Rotterdam. Nice surroundings. Nice Chinese interior and exterior. The interior was worned and gave an impression of dirtieness. Electrical fittings were not fixed.
This is the cutest hotel in the world. Such an experience to stay here. It's not in the middle of the city, but it is well worth the hike through the beautiful gardens or around the bay. The room was huge, had a spacious shower and a kettle with tea and coffee. The bed and pillows were clean and comfy and the room had a safe. The staff were helpful and lovely and there's an asian supermarket in the building/boat/barge/thing. Breakfast was less than desirable...
The relax atmospher, the variety and the good service The lack of English speakers among the staff.
Air conditioner is working. Dear Sir/Madam, I am sorry writing that hotel is very dirty and towel was in the room not clean too, no internet connection in the room, lift not working, breakfast very poor only you can eat bread and butter other thing very old, only fresh is bread. Location is not bad but for location you can not chose this hotel!!! I chosed because I didn't know how durty.
Good Food, good prices in market for seafood, it is a Chinese style place, chinese restaurant,
The location was interesting. It was a little tired and grubby
absolutely nothing Where do I start? The whole place was absolutely filthy. Our fridge was covered in blue mould. the place has obviously never seen a cleaner, the hotel "rules" states that there is a cleaner everyday - rubbish!!! the carpets were disgusting, the wires were hanging out of the wall, you would be as well sleeping on the warddrobe door as the beds were like a brick. There is a no smoking policy but our warddrobe had cigarette ends in it. Even if you were desperate - please do not ever book into this hotel (actually got a cheek calling it a hotel)!! Don't even start me on the breakfast!!
The food was the only thing good at this hotel... Not a very good hotel. It's dirty and expensive. Lots off extra cost for parking. If you are traveling with a pet then prepare to pay 20 euro a night extra. One time experience for us, not gonna book this hotel again.
Location of hotel. Carpets a bit worn
The duvet and pillows were amazing! Loved the whole luxury feel of the hotel when I entered as well. The receptionist told us the wrong time for breakfast, so we missed it. The check out time was far to early - the room was booked for a day (24 hours) should be able to check out 24 hours later.
The location of this beautiful hotel is central and convenient for a city trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable We had diner in the restaurant and that was not that good.
Veri friendly staff, very luxurious rooms. Noisy - room windows not noiseproof.
Breakfast and ambiance The size of the swimmingpool was a bit disappointing
The welcome from all the staff and the couresy and kindness shown to us at all times. We did not enjoy the canned music in the lift. A shower cap could be provided.
Very nice, high quality hotel with friendly staff
Central location. Comfortable bed. Room was rather dark and had no additional lighting options. Wardrobe rails far too high for comfortable access of hanging clothes.
Surprisingly friendly place with generous rooms that were well presented. Staff were very helpful with our baby. Useful small gym, pool and sauna area. The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, and some of the detailing lacked quality in the finish.
good location no free internet connection and poor TV. extras for a young child
Proximity to the beach No car park 10 Euros per day for street parking
It has a perfect view to the see. The only one in that area with its nice old style outlook. Familiar/intimate atmosphere. Lovely decoration/furnishing. Kind, helpful personnel. Silent, and small hotel. Nothing.
It was the most charming hotel on the entire strip and the staff were very, very helpful. The room was on the small side, but very liveable for two days.
Location, atmosphère, kind staff, easy to reach the centre and railway stations, room clean and quiet, wi-fi internet free beds too soft, shampoo to be paid in addition, hair dryer not available in the room (but to be asked at the reception).
Excellent choices for breakfast, efficiently presented. Staff willing and able to advise on best routes to Keukenhof, being mainly the reason for our stay on this occasion.
Clean, comfortable, friendly, breakfeast, individual design - basicly everything Only "complains": very soft beds (too soft), two single beds (in a double room), breakfeast only until 10 am
friendly, helpful staff reception and dining room has old-world charm room itself had lots of space great views (wish we had better weather!) room was sparsely decorated with little or no amenities very small bathroom
The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was great, my room was comfortable and quiet, and the hotel had a retro charm that I enjoyed much more than the sameness of chain hotels.
The hotel locates just on the sea shore. The breakfast is lousy.
The facilities are nice and my wife felt she was at home I liked everything about the hotel
Nice, clean and comfortable hotel close to center of Scheveningen, deserving of the high reviewers score. Great beds! Furthermore, of all the hotels we've booked so far on booking.com, this was the first time someone actually read the note with extra wishes. Lastly, to Dutch standards, the breakfast was great! Nothing, really. We'll come back next time.
service hotel staff and price of the room
Friendly staff. Good quiet location. Central heating / hot water boiler in my bedroom.
Close to everything in a wonederful location. Travel to and from the hague central via bus #22 was nearby and trams 1 and 9 are within two blocks. Scheveningen beach is wonderful with 9 million visitors per year. Van gogh painted in scheveningen There was no elevator but woman at desk readilyt helped my up with my luggage. A wonderful gesture to indicate a great small hotel.
The center location of the hotel next to the beach and shops there was no DVD player I am sure there are 30 euro players out there, like here in germany. A phone list in the room of local taxi sercives and take out resteraunts, better strip map of local area,
value for money, great breakfast, free internet, clean
cheap and quality for price
Nice room, nice bathroom Free WIFI on website, but password protected. Password was not available!
The overall conditions were excellent, especially for the price paid. The breakfast, as well as the wireless internet access were included. Unlike other major and even more expensive hotels in den Haag. It would have been nice to have 1 or 2 degrees Celsius more in the room.
Room was fantastic and room service excellent. Would go again
Great location and good connection to public transport Bathroom was rather small
Very loud, no alternative room available, under renovation, no fitness area.
Location. Breakfast good. Style of rooms was not that I excepted. Whole floor carpet was awful, totally different style than other things. Excepted also more from SPA: No private rooms for changing clothes. No bath jacket + shoes at room.
Swimming pool and sauna/steamroom were excellent, and free internet access very useful. Easy to find and accessible to tram and metro. Breakfast was expensive.
The Staff were the kind I would happily employ and had great temperaments suitable to the `Industry. Good position for Museums and a quick ride to Theaters. Beds too soft and ended up with a backache.Pillows too thin for comfort of neck. Smart tap design in bathroom was difficult to decipher re bath or shower etc until shown and no signage or directions to tell you how to use them. Design upmarket utilitarian and found anywhere. Usual expensive mini bars and snacks.
Views from all areas Swivel chairs in water bar too fast after a few drinks!
We loved the view at the town and the harbour from the 13. etage. The breakfast was good, but expensive. The room was excellent.
The hotel was very good value, the rooms were well kept and the staff were very frienly.
Perfect view from the 12th floor. Nice bar, good service. Cool room.
I reserved a Business Suite and I was upgraded to Deluxe Suite for free upon my arrival. I was very impressed with the ambiance, cleanness and by the quality of the room and service. I found this residence / luxury hotel very tranquil and relaxing. In the room there were lots of coffee and tea choices available as well as 2 free bottles of mineral water. The fire place in the room was something very special. Even there was no fridge in the room maxi bar fridge near the lobby was a great addition. Breakfast was superb. The hotel was located in a very safe and nice neighborhood. My stay was top notch with every minutes well spent. Many thanks to the owners Petra and Frank for their outstanding hospitality !
Beautiful room, great bathroom, helpful hosts.
Room was great, owners very welcoming. overall a fantastic hotel
the fantastic atmosphere staying with a family in their house that they rebuild into a 4 room hotel. the very good service, quality of the rooms, the location in a living area
Large room and excellent bathroom. Great breakfast.
I regret that it was only a short stay. This is one of my best experiences around the world.
Very warm and friendly owners who were also respectful of privacy.. They were happy to assist where ever possible eg.provide phone. connect to internet, information on the area including transport and restaurants. The hotel was beautiful and in a quiet environement. The room was large and beautifully decorated with sitting and dining area. We had breakfast in our room looking onto the peaceful courtyard. It is located opposite a park, close to the tram and has local shops and restaurants closeby. We will be staying again next year. We loved everything about the hotel
Very clean and comfortable good hosts and situated in an pleaseant area
Exremely private and the Owners where good hosts , they obviously enjoy and love what they do . It was a totally different experience to your every day €200 a night hotel room . Thanks again .
Great location for my purposes (near to the Peace Palace), lovely welcoming family atmosphere, and, uniquely for a B&B they really focus on the quality of the bed (adjustable mattress, perfect pillows and duvet)and breakfast (quality ingredients, excellent coffee). Although this wasn't a problem for me it could be for elderly customers: the stairs are extremely steep.
Helpful friendly staff, newly decorated, central location, breakfast included.
Breakfast very poor. No air conditioning.
Hotel ok for couple days of staying
The cotel is close to public transport and the rooms are nice, clean and quite spacious. Also the Internet connection worked very well.
The room was clean and comfortable. Price is good. It's not so far from the center of the city and close to old port district which is interesting place BTW. Breakfast was minimalistic
Old building recently optimized. The stairs, while I think that it is a usual aspect in Holland architecture (usually you have to cliff through them) . On the other hand the hotel has an elevator.
nice staff and good location the breakfast is poor.
Small but nicely renovated, clean hotel. Rooms are rather small. Good value for the money.
The hotel staffs are very accommodating, they always ask me of anything I need and offer me coffee when I stayed at the lobby.
Neat and Clean room with friendly staff at the hotel. There was enough space in the room.
I booking four days but I just living two days. I can not call the reception. Heating =cold. I don't want living again
simpaty of the staff. keys door was blocked, make me go dawnster with bags to the information to acitvate the car.
Near Station It was a v small room, sheets were not v clean, window was broken so i was wondering if my belongings were safe
free drinks machine
Stuff was very kind and you have free coffee, milk and tea available all the day. Heaters were switch off during the night.
Excellent value. Very convenient location near Central Rotterdam. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great location, friendly personnel, excellent (and free) wi-fi connection, 15 mins walk from Rotterdam Centraal Station. Was absloutely charmed with the hotel design; it made the room and the lobby look very cozy, The room and the bathroom were really tiny. There was barely enough storage space, and fittings were a bit outdated.
I asked for a non-smoking room and first room I was given smelt like a smoking area. Second room had a bathroom that smelt like iron (very strong). When we arrived, we couldn't pay for the room because of a problem on the credit card machine. They phoned our room 1AM to ask me to go downstairs and make the payment!!!!! As I didn't go because we were sleeping, they called again 7AM!!!! And to complete, I couldn't have a bottle of water because the hotel was out of it and there was no place around where I could buy it.
Excellent value for money Good breakfast Building works in progress retiling the floors - noisy at breakfast
The animal print covers for the bed, and the 24 hour-all-you-can-drink- coffee machine.
Nice small hotel with surprisingly modern and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. There's no internet in the room, only in the hotel lobby.
We stayed in an apartment with a kitchen when we only expected a room. The hotel is being renovated and the shower stall was cramped
traditional and real dutch
It was really nice. Lovely room, nice stuff, clean: good hotel!
Proximity to the old quarter of the city. Steep stairs and no lift.
The location of the hotel is very central in the older downtown part of The Hague and thus very convenient for getting about. The refurbished interior of the lobby is good, it will be nice when they finish the rooms as well which they apparently are undertaking. This is a typical thing in Dutch buildings but man, the stairs are really steep! And if you are carrying a bag, well I would not recommend this for the infirm or elderly.
Talking about the facility, it is only a hostel, but the price is quite expensive, even more expensive than your price for a 4 stars hotel.
It was clean. I have never seen smaller room. Private bathroom means shared bathroom in this hotel - the description is not accurate. I asked about waking me up at 7 am. The hotel staff said ok - but nobody did it. No wonder if they appeared only at 7.15...
hotel was individual - had its own character. very convenient locataion
Very friendly and helpful staff
I don't know if other rooms are the same. For my room, it is really hard to fall asleep near the railway.
Very clean. Shared rooms ... but public is very nice.
The breakfast Our room was very cold
Good, cheap place to stay in Den Haag. Must leave a deposit of some sort to get a key that allows you to enter the hostel past 1 am. No public kitchen facilities available.
the location the staff were a little rude and snappy
Nothing,possibly the staff. No comment!
There was no booking under my name from booking.com but the staff managed to give me a room at the same price that I made trough booking.com The noise from outside (tramway!!!)
Location near the train station was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
staff, proximity to city centre noise during the nights (construction works nearby)
nice staff !! juices at the morning
convenience for my business very old fashioned decor.
The room was great, there was an extensive amount of choices for breakfast, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The online bill on the tv was completely wrong - it showed the city tax per person as 71 euros per night instead of 71 cents, and did the same with the mini-bar drinks - 375. euros instead of 3.75 euros.
beds were OK outdated interior of the hotel, unattractive breakfast table and room in combination with too high price.
Very enjoyable stay - good facilities and good breakfast. Nothing
The atmosphere was very relaxed
The location The gym and pool area has not been updated for a number of years now and is becoming quite dated and shabby. It badly need cooling, as the fans are not adequate.
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in this hotel, but you definitely need a car to visit the nice beaches e.g. of Schouwen-Duiveland. If you just want to visit Rotterdam the public transport facilities are o.k. The breakfast on Sunday in another room (ballroom) only offered limited options (e.g. no hot chocolate for children, not even on request)
The girl, Chrystal, working at the restaurant, bar was very friendly. The food at the restaurant was not wotth the price. Especially the manner how it was served on your plate.
A very comfortable hotel, with excellent and knowledgable staff.
friendly, quiet, excellent beds and a strong commitment to helping others.
A quiet and spacy place to stay
the modern style, cosy, our room was really full of light (from outside)
Location You can stay at this hotel if you do not want following things Reception after 23 hours, no minibar in the room, no iron and iron desk, no ironing service, no bar in the hotel. It does no offer services that supposed to be in four star hotel, I would consider changing this hotel to two or three stars.
The rooms are huge, stylish and very comfortable. The staff is friendly. Bathrobes were a plus. The breakfast was quite average. The basics are there and a long the right lines, but there could have been a bigger selection.
It is a very clean hotel with friendly stuff, nice breakfast room and good breakfast with absolutely divine croissants. To much noise through the walls especially in the early morning.
Beautiful spacious room and bathroom, extremely friendly staff, comfortable bed (apart form the pillows). Some minor points: pillow too thick, no BBC 1 & 2 on TV, WiFi a little pricy (many hotels these days offer free continuous WiFi which is great for the business traveller), lack of hot-water kettle.
Architecture and size of rooms was great. Breakfast room was impressive. Quiet and very comfortable night. Would recommend this hotel.
lack of parking. hotel should have a deal with the secure parking under the Erasmusbrug
location was perfect for me room was very cold
Nice hotel near Scheveningen Beach, easy to reach Haag and Delft directly by tram (200m), it has it's own parking
Very good localization, poor quality breakfast
Really a great locaton and excellent facilities. Family run by attentive and lovely people. Breakfast was top notch. The maid could have been more attentive to the kitchen and bathroom.
Friendly greeting on arrival. Accomodation clean and comfortable, typical Dutch steep stairs! Breakfast included large and varied choice of options.Free car park very useful and unusual in Dutch towns. Stairs could prove awkward for anyone with mobility problems, but some ground floor rooms seemed to be available.
no tea making facilites, or hotel bar.
- close to the beach - great breakfast
big room,very comfortable bed.good breakfast
Convenience for getting into the centre of The Hague as well as to the beach. Free parking. Pleasant & helpful staff.
Excellent location beach, public transport, quiet place.
Friendly and helpful staff
Friendly hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast and good service. Location is nearby the city-center. Within a few minutes walking you are on the ´Grote Markt´. The square with pubs in front of the hotel may cause some noise in some of the rooms, specially in the summer.
The central location Parking difficulty (in all of Delft). No lift. No air conditioning (that was a surprise)
the staff and the location + the
