Very clean and excellent location Could really have done with a fridge. One suplied at l'ours blanc. Breakfast should have been included in already expensive rate.
We were very impressed with the restaurant manager, Tierry, who looked after us so well during our stay and the food was excellent. The hotel is very conveniently placed for skiing and has a comfortable lounge area with views of the slopes.
great staff, fantastic facilities. very warm summer nights, no fans to help keep the room cool.
Friendly staff, great atmonsphere, good food, beautiful location, comfortable rooms - all in all a brilliant hotel.
The staff were very pleasant and the food was good The fabrics and decor should be refressed, however, it is a budget Hotel and was good in that regard.
A very welcoming hotel. breakfast excellent dinner -excellent for the price.Although not luxurious it was clean and homely and the staff were very efficient and nice.Fairly close to the pistes, and situated on the main street close to all the bars etc. Also my son enjoyed the pool and hot tubs after his day skiing. Excellent thouroughly enjoyed our stay there.
It was very charming and a great deal. Both the meals and the rooms were fairly basic, and better than expected. The location was excellent (around the back for ski rental, and another 25 yards to the ski lift).
nice freindly staff it is in need of up dating quite desperately
helpfulness of the staff and location The facilities felt very tired. Lumpy pillows worn and frayed towels
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Close to the village centre and more importantly an easy walk to the ski lifts.
Very helpful and friendly staff, lovely food the pillows
Wonderful ambience and firsr class food. Excellent lounge facilities and pool area.
The meals were very good, the fact that we were not actually staying in the hotel but in another building next door meant that we had to get our coats and shoes on each time we wanted to go for a meal. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and were very attentive. There were several times when no one was on reception. Was hoping for a swim and relax in the jacuzzi after skiing but the water was too cold, I used these facilities once during the week which was a shame as this is why I booked this hotel.
The food was lovely at dinner. The breakfastcontained no cooked / hot food, just continental style. No cups or cutlery at breakfast, the object seemed to be to prevent one getting enough to eat. The staff were a little surly and abrupt. No effort was made to translate menu's or to understand us when we tried to order at the bar or in the restaurant. The pool and spa are good but the whole hotel, whilst being quite near the centre is on a hill so steep that people ski down it, it is covered in ice and almost impossible to scale on foot. We had to change hotel mid-week due to this inaccessability. This should be made clear on web-sites. We had to pay again for a central hotel as we were not made aware.
Excellent cuztomer searvice. very aaccomodating re arricval times and breakfast
Staff very helpful, husband who is a plain eater did not like the choices set on the dinner menu cooked an alternative. Excellent value for money. Room on 2nd floor was dark. No holder for shower head and no screen or curtain.
The service and attention to detail provided by all the hotel staff throughout our stay was absolutely brilliant. They went to a lot of trouble altering menu options to suit my daughter's vegetarian needs. No. We thought every aspect was superb!
This is such a cosy hotel and so convenient for the centre of Les Gets. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and the service is excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent facilities for keeping ski equipment. Close to the bottom of the slopes. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Exactly what you would expect from an Alpine resort hotel. No coffee making facilities in the room.
Hotel staff always pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast was nice. Very child friendly.
Welcoming and comfortable hotel. Nice atmosphere!
The staff were very friendly. Overall we had a great time.
The hotel was very well maintained and the owners took pride in their hotel
The staff were lovely. The setting is fantastic and the pool and sauna was a great relaxer after the skiing. The breakfast could be improved - more choice e.g more cereals, more fruit like bananas, sausages, more fruit juice choice.
Great location, super friendly staff, well presented accommodation Curtains too thin, could do with lining,
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. 150 yards from the ski lift
Location. Room. Cleanliness. Free Wifi & flat screen tv in room Stayed Half board but had no menu choice although when we heard that the meal for the following evening was seafood which we do not like we were given an alternative.
Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful; The food was good and the hotel very clean. The use of computers for guests was great.
Excellent proximity to the slopes
Ideal location for the centre of town, Very clean appartments and all the facilites needed in apartment for a cheap break .
Well equipped room and hotel - appeared well kept and clean
Simple, compact clean rooms. Ample parking. Central location.
First class service by an experienced and friendly family group
Excellent location for mountain biking really central and Les Gets is a really nice resort. No shower curtain so every time you had a shower you would flood the bathroom and the bathroom could have been cleaner, so nasty looking hairs on the floor. The receptionist was a bit miserable.
Staff very lovely! Fab location. Reasonable price and good food. Rather limited choice for vegetarians...however this is true of all of France. The staff wre very accomodating and gave me a choice veggie pasta, veggie rice or omlette for evening meal. Its limted but at least they made an effort! Also worth noting that the rooms that sleep 3 people are very crowded. They are only really suitable for 2 people.
The evening meals; the location and the staff. The thin walls and noise in the bedrooms.
Excellent Location, Staff Vey Friendly !!! - Hotel Clean with a shower room available if you want an extra days skiing after checking out. Wish there was a choice of courses for dinner as set menu did not always suit - Also suggest that you should be able to switch yo a la carte menu with a discount if not taking set menu.
Very good location in relation to the facilities offered by the town of Les Gets and very good access to ski lifts.
lovely family owners. location near slopes and micro brewery pub.
Freindly helpful staff, very close to lifts and centre but not noisy The options for vegetarain for the set menu for guests was unimaginative/ poor. Was offered larger quantities of mash + broccoli, given a portion of rice as a meat sunstitute
Good location, good food, polite and helpful staff all at a fair price Standard of decor could be improved in corridors
a very cosy atmosphere, clean surroundings and very friendly staff. perfect position for ski slopes and village.good well cooked food.we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Comfortable hotel in a good location right in the centre of Les Gets. When we stayed, it was right at the end of the season and the hotel was about to close. The hotel was virtually empty and the atmosphere correspondingly bare! However, I'm sure during the season, the hotel would be a good choice.
We had a great summer stay at Le Crychar. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very well maintained and clearly looked after, with lots of the small touches that elevate it from being average to really special. It's a 5 minute stroll to the centre of Les Gets so in easy reach of everything in the village. The room was a little on the small side, but the balcony was great for the evening and that more than made up for it. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
The staff were wonderfull. They were always helpful, and genuine appeared to want to do everything possible to maximise our experience. The Ski in ski out facilities were second to none. The bar was relaxing and very comfortable. The food also was of a high standard. Nothing!
The hotel was extremely well appointed and in a wonderful position
Very friendly staff, one of the best ski-in ski-out chalets I have stayed in, it could not be closer to the slopes but still accessible by car. Very good breakfast buffet. No
Hotel staff and the atmosphere
Excellent staff and facilities. Well located for the bus stops and easy walk to town and the nearest telecabin. Would definitely stay there again. The beds were a bit small.
Nice interior design. Friendly staff. No
Everything was well run and all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Front desk staff and owner could not have been more helpful, nice breakfast each morning (fresh apricots, fresh plums, eggs cooked to order, local cheeses, baked goods), beautiful location, owners have a yellow lab whom my child adored, room was rustic but very charming, clean, and nicely done, good bed, nice balcony for sitting and looking out. Internet service, while free, was spotty, so almost impossible to stay connected. Parking is tight (free but not enough available spaces for all guests). No air conditioning. Windows don't open in the two-story room, but the door to the balcony provided some relief. However, my son who slept upstairs with no opening windows or door, was very hot (in July), so we had to move his mattress downstairs on the second night.
Lovely hotel, short walk to main part of town. Staff were friendly and very forgiving of our not being able to speak the local language. The facilities were great and well maintained. The rooms were unbearably hot in the afternoon however we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave. The inside pool temp was too cold (the outside pool was lovely though). We were not able to take advantage of the great onsite restaurant as they didn't open until 7:30pm which was too late for our toddler.
Hotel owner was the friendliest ever - he was so nice! Lovely outdoor pool, lovely view from room and breakfast room. Very friendly hotel - will definitely return and recommend to friends
A well run, friendly and relaxed hotel with good amenities and fantastic setting. Madame Directrice was a little unfriendly when we pointed out that they had charged us for too many breakfasts.
The attention to detail, especially to the children
Bed uncomfortable, pillows big, hard and not down or feather. Room not what we expected (very small, not what we call south facing except on balcony).
Convenient, nice rooms, great breakfasts.
Perfect for families with children, very good location, very good value for money, excellent team and services offered. They could improve the the amenities in the bed room.
Nothing. Unhelpful on reception.Beds very hard, uncomfortable. Very basic drab room, not as shown on website, as was the hallway. Certainly not a 3 star hotel.
