9.7 Excellent
Pros: Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and airport. Modern, clean, airy and spacious lobby with indoor and outdoor seating. Rooms are modern, sheets and towels are fresh-smelling and clean. Soaps and toiletries replaced each day. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in room-nice touch. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning and water in the afternoon. Newspaper is complimentary each day. Hallways are quiet at night. Staff is very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Stayed with my mother while visiting family who live in Cary area; she will find fault in any and everything, yet even she commented she would stay at this hotel again. Seriously, the best compliment ever. Very reasonable price-excellent value.
Cons: Hook on door for towels was missing-a minor nuisance. On check out day at 9:00 am maid knocked on door repeatedly. I forgot to put do not disturb sign on door. I answered and told her we would be leaving soon, but she spoke little to no English, and kept repeating when we would check out. She eventually got the message, but annoying nonetheless.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Felt clean, comfortable, and safe. Close to some decent dining options. All around great value.
Cons: Staff was neutral upon our arrival -- not rude but not exactly friendly either. It didn't really have an impact really on our experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, the indoor pool, the free cookies, and the business center so we could buy and print our hockey game tickets. :)
Cons: We didn't love the bed comfort level, but we do have a temperpedic at home, so it just wasn't as comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really appreciated the friendly and knowledgable front desk staff. They were very professional and helpful throughout my stay. I loved they layout of my room and the pool(even though I couldn't enjoy it) looked amazing and the people in the pool looked like they were having tons of fun!
Cons: Can't say there was anything I didn't like.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was secluded very quiet
Cons: No vending machine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean, spacious, and very affordable via Kayak. We saved over $150 for a 2 night stay with Kayak.
Cons: Hot breakfast was out of service on one morning.
6.0 Good
Pros: 2 bedroom suite worked well for father and daughter in town for a multi day swim meet (requiring afternoon rest by the swimmer). Mattress was fine.
Cons: Absolutely nothing plush about the space. Bedding was sad. The layer above the sheet (I can't call it a blanket) seemed like a thin mattress pad. It was soft. The coverlet had to be flammable. Both were only about as wide as the bed making it challenging for 2 people sharing the bed to have covers.
6.5 Good
Pros: Overall the facility was great in a desired location with plus size on the amnesties
Cons: I don't know where to start about the staff. Lady was rude upon check in. Then when I get to the room it was not what I had booked. Took over an hour to come to understanding and still didn't get the room I booked. I will never stay here again
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice clean accommodations. Competent friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My boyfriend and I loved the location. It was really close to everything in Cary. We also loved the room, it had a full kitchen and living room and balcony. Absolutely amazing. The staff was very polite. Everything was just so perfect!
Cons: We didn't like that by 4-5pm the building was shading the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast. Friendly Staff. I had left my garment bag from the previous week and was surprised that it was waiting for me in my room's closet this week. Great Happy Hour Social during the week with complementary food and Wine/Beers.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: When we arrived to check in at 3 p.m., we were told that we'd have to wait 30 more minutes. We left to get an early dinner and came back 90 minutes later. Our room still wasn't ready. We were able to check in at 4:50 p.m. Then the air conditioner in our room didn't work and when that was fixed, it made such a loud noise we asked to change rooms the next morning. We were not able to get much rest with all of the noise. They accommodated that, but we had to take a room with a full size bed instead of the king like we had, and then the air conditioner in that room didn't work, so we had to call maintenance. While laying out by the pool, the workers were painting the building with their radio blasting and them talking, talking, talking, singing, etc. The three days we were there, there were cut tree branches in piles around the patio. What a mess. The hot tub at the pool was out of order as well. It wasn't enjoyable at all. We couldn't wait to leave.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Cary/Raleigh, but want easy access to shopping and dining, this is a perfect location. The hotel was majestic from the outside pulling in, and the lobby/dining areas were the same. Very classy. The room was a king suite, complete with full small modern kitchen, spacious living area, very comfortable and clean bed in the bedroom (which was slightly on the small side), and the room had a romantic vibe to it. The only thing less than ideal was the free breakfast included. It was mediocre at best.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of space in a suite to have people meet after dinner. Very clean!
Cons: Bathrooms were a bit small and dated but clean and functioned flawlessly.

Cons: Upon arrival we find out that are unavailable because they have no more king suites available. They told us that they found one available and we went up to our room. Once we unpacked out things and before we planned to go out for the evening we go to take a shower and we realize that the room is a handicapped room and the shower is extremely uncomfortable. I paid $130 for a nice romantic room to spend the weekend in Raleigh with my girlfriend for our first Valentine's Day. I was extremely dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I would like a refund on my room due to the fact that the reservation was humbled by Doubletree Hot I would like a refund on my room due to the fact that the reservation was humbled by Doubletree.

Pros: The rooms were very clean and had beautiful bathrooms. The free cookies at check in/check out were a nice touch.
Cons: There were no free travel amenities. When I asked guest services for q-tips I was told they "are available for purchase" at the small store in the lobby.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is why I love Hampton Inn. You can count on impeccable cleanliness, a very comfortable, well furnished room and little unnecessary extras. I was in town on business and initially went barebones, staying at a competing "comfort in simplicity" chain for two days, trying to save a few bucks. It was not worth it! My room was tropical hot, and I couldn't control the temperature and the wifi was spotty at best... Then the latest winter storm front stranded me in Raleigh for two more days. To dampen the aggravation of Travel Hell, I decided to upgrade myself to a Hampon Inn for the extra two nights. Once I checked into the Hampton, everything got instantly better. The location is great. Several restaurant choices, the beltway within striking distance, and stores across Tryon road for all the stuff you didn't bring because you thought you'd be home by now. When I checked in, the complimentary cookies and very good fix-it-yourself coffee helped me to "reset" when I got to my room. When I logged into the wifi, I found Hampton now offers a five dollar premium wifi option (above the complimentary wifi) for those willing to pay for a faster, more reliable connection. Today, a fast, reliable internet connection is as essential as hot water! Of course, my room was impeccably clean; and everything was in great condition. Having seen the stark difference, I'm a fan of Hampton Inn for business travel going forward.
Cons: I wanted a cookie every evening :-) but didn't see them my second night.

Pros: Bed was super comfortable. I loved that I could use my streaming apps on the tv.
Cons: The walls are a tad thin. I could hear the snorers at night, but that’s better than what you could wake up to at night. I just turned the a/c fan on High and went back to sleep.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location Breakfast Staff
Cons: Bathroom wasn't clean enough Bed pillows were not comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself was very nice. I think the rooms might be about due for an update. Some of the furnishings are showing a little wear. However, everything worked, the hotel was spotless, and the employees went above and beyond in their jobs. I attended for a conference, and those facilities were fine. The meals we were served were really quite good, as was the dinner I had in the hotel restaurant. I recommend the shrimp and grits. Fabulous. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Love staying at Embassy Suites, the omelet bar for breakfast and the large suites make the brand a good value for the money. Right off I-40 so easy to get around the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. Complementary airport shuttle (runs every 30 min). Quick walk to a strip mall with a bar and restaurants in it. Plenty of parking. The indoor pool/hot tub/sauna was a good place to relax.
Cons: The rooms are starting to feel dated with the wallpaper border around the top of the rooms and the color palette was similar in vibe. The pool water level seemed a bit low since the water couldn't get into the side drains but was otherwise fine. Wish they didn't charge for wi-fi.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The hotel staff was friendly and hepful
Cons: The first room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The hall carpet was a mess and there were frayed edges at the door transitions. Overall cleanliness was poor. The second room was a little improved. No cigarette smoke odor everything else was about the same. We could have stayed in a similar hotel, in terms of overall condition, for less money. In fact we recently stayed at a newer facility for less.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: You can check in early as 4 pm and I went at 7 pm and the room was not ready I have to wait 1 hr to I can check in
Cons: Floors the pool is next to the elevator and the hallway it was al wet because people coming out fro the pool walk to the elevator was all wet make the floors wet

Pros: The hotel had an excellent chef. He prepared us a delicious meal on our first night when we had just spent the whole day in the car. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

7.7 Good
Pros: This was a very good, clean and appealing motel. We are from Ca. And had trouble locating it. It is back off the highway and at night NC does not have street lights and no large signs to let you see it from highway.
Cons: Someone needs to do a better job with the breakfast. Bacon barely cooked! Sausage not cooked the 2nd day. Ran out of eggs. Large group of basketball women were there so maybe motel was unprepared for so many people.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice. Our room was clean. Parking was convenient to our room and I liked the breakfast.
Cons: I booked the hotel as something fun for my sons birthday with the intent on getting good use of the pool and hot tub. The pool was cold and too small to enjoy with just 7 kids in the pool. The hot tub was even smaller and couldn't enjoy it because it was full with 4 kids and another adult. The pool room was obviously out of sight / out of mind as the room needed tidying up and a restock of towels. All the chairs for adults/non-swimmers were soaked because they are 2 feet away from pool (too close). I clearly indicated on the website that I was booking the room for 1 adult and 3 small kids. I chose the king bed room because it was the best value and seemed like it would have met our sleeping requirements (3 kids on the king and the adult on the pull out). The king bed was great for the kids but the pull out sofa needs to be thrown out! Nothing positive can be said about the pull out bed. The mattress was so bad, I actually got poaked from a spring that stuck through it. The frame was so uncomfortable/unbearable I actually chose to sleep on the floor and was much more comfortable sleep. I'm sure for the average traveler the hotel was fine but for my intentions and experience it wasn't worth the discounted rate of 79.99. I'm confident I could of had a better experience at another hotel at that price.

4.2 Okay
Pros: The day manager who helped resolve our choice to check out early was very nice. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The couch was so uncomfortable you couldn't even sit in it. There was an unusual odor in the suite that was not pleasant but couldn't really figure out what it was. The rooms were outdated. The breakfast was a joke. Very skimpy!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a large clean room next to where we needed to be.
Cons: The front desk was not friendly at all. Barely spoke to us or even looked at us. We did not feel welcomed at all. Worst check in ever.... Felt like an inconvenience to her. Breakfast was poor.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: We were staying at La Qunita Inns because of their Pet Friendly policies. From now on, we will look for these when on a road trip with our 35 lb mixed mutt. In general, this hotel is designed and placed for business travelers to the area. Away from normal road trip amenities like chain restaurants and shopping. We arrived at night and only saw neighboring office buildings. Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was as expected. Great value.
Cons: No dedicated pet walking area. That would have been handy. Elevator is a bit slow. Minor problems in the grand scheme of things for an overnight stay,

3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The room was spacious and reasonably clean and comfortable
Cons: The check in desk had a long line each time I walked by and it took about 10 minutes to get service each time with no eye contact or acknowledgement from the staff. The front desk staff who checked me in was disorganized and kept asking the same questions more than once. There was a leak in the hallway. There are stairs everywhere and I never did find the elevator. It is definitely not handicap or stroller friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had more than I expected.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Check in staff Renee was awesome! Room was nice and clean.
Cons: There was nearly no food in breakfast. It opened at 7am and we arrived around 8am to find no eggs, pancakes, low on juice. I asked the front desk as there were others behind us looking for food. It took 15 minutes for the person to arrive. We left just as she arrived. There was a dog staying there. So now we must ask for no smoking and no pet rooms???

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is gorgeous, greeted with convenience of valet and breakfast exceptional. Tablet in the room was cool and convenient. Room gorgeous. Bed super comfy. I would stay there again it's been more time to try the spa. The staff was very accommodating in and available for any need.
Cons: Broken ice machine and fried green tomatoes. For a Resteraunt in the south you master this delicacy if you dare to serve it. By the way where was tub? Shower lovely but no garden tub a mistake in design.

Cons: The first room they gave us had the air conditioner hanging off he wall and a makeshift unit on the floor, the second room they gave us the smoke alarm was hanging off the wall and the bathroom looked nothing like the pictures it was old and very outdated. The room was dirty and the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. Oh and the staff was VERY unfriendly. We left and went to another hotel.
6.2 Good
Pros: The convenience of where the hotel was located, everything was in walking distance
Cons: While I don't think it was a bad area, there were a lot of people outside around the building. I didn't feel very comfortable getting in/out of my vehicle being that I was traveling alone. The toilet was also broken in the room, it was constantly running water. Check-in lady wasn't very friendly but the gentleman when I checked out was very nice
6.0 Good
Pros: There isn't carpeting so you know that the floor is clean. The television worked well, even during several storms that occurred while we were there. They have guest laundry facilities.
Cons: No coffee pot in the room, you have to ask for a hair dryer and iron and ironing board, only a few rooms had refrigerators and microwaves and those were booked the whole time we were there. The staff told me that they didn't have something and then my husband went and asked for the same thing later and they had plenty. They only leave soap ( that smelled terrible) and shampoo. No lotion, conditioner or any of the other little goodies that they usually leave.
