Good value with friendly and helpful staff. The internet WiFi was very poor. Even though my room was very close to the front desk, the signal was so weak I struggled to do even simple email. Good thing I wasn't planning on doing anything important or work related. This needs to be fixed if they expect business travelers. The location is tough to find as it is tucked behind other businesses but once your are there, it is an easy on and off Rt1 for Cary or Raleigh.
We were just staying for one night and it had everything we needed.
Check in staff Renee was awesome! Room was nice and clean. There was nearly no food in breakfast. It opened at 7am and we arrived around 8am to find no eggs, pancakes, low on juice. I asked the front desk as there were others behind us looking for food. It took 15 minutes for the person to arrive. We left just as she arrived. There was a dog staying there. So now we must ask for no smoking and no pet rooms???
The location was great. Very easy to get to and had lots of restaurants and nice businesses nearby. Very clean and comfortable. Very impressed by Best Western Plus
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had more than I expected.
Good location. Well maintained property, inside and out. Super clean. Very well trained, helpful staff with great attitudes, both in person and on the phone. Overall, an excellent property in all respects at a very reasonable price. From here forward, this is my hotel in Raleigh. Nothing negative. It was all top notch.
Front desk staff very pleasant and understanding. Dirty, dismall and ended up leaving after 2 room changes got my deposit back from the agent. NEVER again. I stayed at a Hampton Inn and Suites, They should take a page out of their book.
The room was spacious and reasonably clean and comfortable The check in desk had a long line each time I walked by and it took about 10 minutes to get service each time with no eye contact or acknowledgement from the staff. The front desk staff who checked me in was disorganized and kept asking the same questions more than once. There was a leak in the hallway. There are stairs everywhere and I never did find the elevator. It is definitely not handicap or stroller friendly.
Easy in and out, no frills but nice clean room with adequate toiletries, friendly helpful staff. Property could be kept up a little nicer on the outside.
Very comfortable rooms...pool was good.. close to everything. Need a vehicle or uber, but everything pretty close.
Very clean, great value, friendly front desk staff, new bathroom Scratchy thin sheets, oddly small sized pillows, no fridge in room
Clean Severely outdated bathroom, missing light bulbs in room.
This was a very good, clean and appealing motel. We are from Ca. And had trouble locating it. It is back off the highway and at night NC does not have street lights and no large signs to let you see it from highway. Someone needs to do a better job with the breakfast. Bacon barely cooked! Sausage not cooked the 2nd day. Ran out of eggs. Large group of basketball women were there so maybe motel was unprepared for so many people.
Great staff, great breakfast, comfort level was great
Room very clean. Continental breakfast good with a wide variety. Staff friendly
Bed was very comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast bar was well supplied. House cleaning did not clean room on 2nd day.
Room was clean and comfortable. Has perfect coffee/teamaker.
The staff was nice. Our room was clean. Parking was convenient to our room and I liked the breakfast. I booked the hotel as something fun for my sons birthday with the intent on getting good use of the pool and hot tub. The pool was cold and too small to enjoy with just 7 kids in the pool. The hot tub was even smaller and couldn't enjoy it because it was full with 4 kids and another adult. The pool room was obviously out of sight / out of mind as the room needed tidying up and a restock of towels. All the chairs for adults/non-swimmers were soaked because they are 2 feet away from pool (too close). I clearly indicated on the website that I was booking the room for 1 adult and 3 small kids. I chose the king bed room because it was the best value and seemed like it would have met our sleeping requirements (3 kids on the king and the adult on the pull out). The king bed was great for the kids but the pull out sofa needs to be thrown out! Nothing positive can be said about the pull out bed. The mattress was so bad, I actually got poaked from a spring that stuck through it. The frame was so uncomfortable/unbearable I actually chose to sleep on the floor and was much more comfortable sleep. I'm sure for the average traveler the hotel was fine but for my intentions and experience it wasn't worth the discounted rate of 79.99. I'm confident I could of had a better experience at another hotel at that price.
Breakfast could be upgraded
The cleanliness, the indoor pool, the free cookies, and the business center so we could buy and print our hockey game tickets. :) We didn't love the bed comfort level, but we do have a temperpedic at home, so it just wasn't as comfortable.
Felt clean, comfortable, and safe. Close to some decent dining options. All around great value. Staff was neutral upon our arrival -- not rude but not exactly friendly either. It didn't really have an impact really on our experience.
Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and airport. Modern, clean, airy and spacious lobby with indoor and outdoor seating. Rooms are modern, sheets and towels are fresh-smelling and clean. Soaps and toiletries replaced each day. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in room-nice touch. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning and water in the afternoon. Newspaper is complimentary each day. Hallways are quiet at night. Staff is very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Stayed with my mother while visiting family who live in Cary area; she will find fault in any and everything, yet even she commented she would stay at this hotel again. Seriously, the best compliment ever. Very reasonable price-excellent value. Hook on door for towels was missing-a minor nuisance. On check out day at 9:00 am maid knocked on door repeatedly. I forgot to put do not disturb sign on door. I answered and told her we would be leaving soon, but she spoke little to no English, and kept repeating when we would check out. She eventually got the message, but annoying nonetheless.
The day manager who helped resolve our choice to check out early was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The couch was so uncomfortable you couldn't even sit in it. There was an unusual odor in the suite that was not pleasant but couldn't really figure out what it was. The rooms were outdated. The breakfast was a joke. Very skimpy!
Pet friendly & clean- staff very nice! Didn't like 3rd party booking; am 74 yrs old forgot I had Dr's appointment I'm was in mi. For first day ; had to pay so far no response that I will be reimbursed ;keeping fingers crossed
It was a large clean room next to where we needed to be. The front desk was not friendly at all. Barely spoke to us or even looked at us. We did not feel welcomed at all. Worst check in ever.... Felt like an inconvenience to her. Breakfast was poor.
Hotel is gorgeous, greeted with convenience of valet and breakfast exceptional. Tablet in the room was cool and convenient. Room gorgeous. Bed super comfy. I would stay there again it's been more time to try the spa. The staff was very accommodating in and available for any need. Broken ice machine and fried green tomatoes. For a Resteraunt in the south you master this delicacy if you dare to serve it. By the way where was tub? Shower lovely but no garden tub a mistake in design.
Love staying at Embassy Suites, the omelet bar for breakfast and the large suites make the brand a good value for the money. Right off I-40 so easy to get around the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. Complementary airport shuttle (runs every 30 min). Quick walk to a strip mall with a bar and restaurants in it. Plenty of parking. The indoor pool/hot tub/sauna was a good place to relax. The rooms are starting to feel dated with the wallpaper border around the top of the rooms and the color palette was similar in vibe. The pool water level seemed a bit low since the water couldn't get into the side drains but was otherwise fine. Wish they didn't charge for wi-fi.
Staff and room The breakfast food line was long...no food....no plates....terrible.....need new way of serving...only put a little out and wait again for more
Modern decor throughout. Very pleasing to the eye. The lobby is very chic too! Way to go, SHS! You exceeded my expectation. Nothing
The bathroom was amazing. The room was clean and the furnishings very trendy. The breakfast area was a bit crowded but other than that no.
It had the best bed and pillows I have ever slept on!
New, clean, quiet, friendly. Room was nicely designed.
Room was very clean, spacious, and very affordable via Kayak. We saved over $150 for a 2 night stay with Kayak. Hot breakfast was out of service on one morning.
Location was secluded very quiet No vending machine
The location was great. When we arrived to check in at 3 p.m., we were told that we'd have to wait 30 more minutes. We left to get an early dinner and came back 90 minutes later. Our room still wasn't ready. We were able to check in at 4:50 p.m. Then the air conditioner in our room didn't work and when that was fixed, it made such a loud noise we asked to change rooms the next morning. We were not able to get much rest with all of the noise. They accommodated that, but we had to take a room with a full size bed instead of the king like we had, and then the air conditioner in that room didn't work, so we had to call maintenance. While laying out by the pool, the workers were painting the building with their radio blasting and them talking, talking, talking, singing, etc. The three days we were there, there were cut tree branches in piles around the patio. What a mess. The hot tub at the pool was out of order as well. It wasn't enjoyable at all. We couldn't wait to leave.
Overall the facility was great in a desired location with plus size on the amnesties I don't know where to start about the staff. Lady was rude upon check in. Then when I get to the room it was not what I had booked. Took over an hour to come to understanding and still didn't get the room I booked. I will never stay here again
I really appreciated the friendly and knowledgable front desk staff. They were very professional and helpful throughout my stay. I loved they layout of my room and the pool(even though I couldn't enjoy it) looked amazing and the people in the pool looked like they were having tons of fun! Can't say there was anything I didn't like.
Very nice clean accommodations. Competent friendly staff.
Plenty of space in a suite to have people meet after dinner. Very clean! Bathrooms were a bit small and dated but clean and functioned flawlessly.
My boyfriend and I loved the location. It was really close to everything in Cary. We also loved the room, it had a full kitchen and living room and balcony. Absolutely amazing. The staff was very polite. Everything was just so perfect! We didn't like that by 4-5pm the building was shading the pool.
2 bedroom suite worked well for father and daughter in town for a multi day swim meet (requiring afternoon rest by the swimmer). Mattress was fine. Absolutely nothing plush about the space. Bedding was sad. The layer above the sheet (I can't call it a blanket) seemed like a thin mattress pad. It was soft. The coverlet had to be flammable. Both were only about as wide as the bed making it challenging for 2 people sharing the bed to have covers.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Cary/Raleigh, but want easy access to shopping and dining, this is a perfect location. The hotel was majestic from the outside pulling in, and the lobby/dining areas were the same. Very classy. The room was a king suite, complete with full small modern kitchen, spacious living area, very comfortable and clean bed in the bedroom (which was slightly on the small side), and the room had a romantic vibe to it. The only thing less than ideal was the free breakfast included. It was mediocre at best.
The rooms were very clean and had beautiful bathrooms. The free cookies at check in/check out were a nice touch. There were no free travel amenities. When I asked guest services for q-tips I was told they "are available for purchase" at the small store in the lobby.
Upon arrival we find out that are unavailable because they have no more king suites available. They told us that they found one available and we went up to our room. Once we unpacked out things and before we planned to go out for the evening we go to take a shower and we realize that the room is a handicapped room and the shower is extremely uncomfortable. I paid $130 for a nice romantic room to spend the weekend in Raleigh with my girlfriend for our first Valentine's Day. I was extremely dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I would like a refund on my room due to the fact that the reservation was humbled by Doubletree Hot I would like a refund on my room due to the fact that the reservation was humbled by Doubletree.
Easy in and out. Prompt shuttle service to the airport. I wanted price below $100 after taxes.
Would have preferred $10 off instead of the lame breakfast offering
Close to airport, has shuttle to airport, fitness room & pool, nice property, helpful staff, quiet, large room, fridge & microwave, restaurants nearby, clean, pretty room, good value. Pantry items are expensive - big mark up. But you can walk across the road to a convenience mart & pay much less.
Clean rooms, nice desk with lamp and new and updated amenities.
This was a surprisingly nice hotel considering the price was so reasonable. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was in a safe area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are 2 buildings next to each other. I went to the wrong building to check in first. There should be a better way to differentiate between the 2 buildings for check, especially for people who have been driving all day.
Construction in hotel was disruptive
My previous stay at a La Quinta in another location was in an older, run-down facility. This one was newer and the decor updated. The room was fairly large with a mini-fridge & microwave included. The free breakfast was good with plenty of options. I especially liked the wafflemaker. The staff were all nice & personable. I had an outer room that faced a busy roadway. There was less noise at night but one should ask for an inner room.
The facility was nice and very comfortable although we didn't spend much time in the room. The staff was very friendly. Lack of toiletries that other hotels have in the room. No restaurants open after 1 a.m. in the area except Waffle House.
I loved that this was very close to the airport. Great gym and it was nice to have a pool. The bed was not exceptionally comfortable but it was fine. I'm sure the bedding was cleaned but as is the case with white, there were some remnant stains... Warning: There is NOTHING around here. Went to the outlet mall nearby and there was a subway, an asian fast food, and philly cheesesteak place. This place was deserted.
I had called before my arrival and requested a room on the first floor that opened up to the pool. Donald was able to accommodate my request. Also, the pool and grounds were kept clean.
Recently remodeled and looks great. Bed was extremely comfortable. Airport shuttle and parking along with the breakfast make this the place to stay when traveling out of Raleigh
The airport location is perfect, the staff was quite courteous and helpful, the room was comfortable and spacious. The fitness center was okay but no better, and the breakfast was not as good as at competitors like the Fairfield Inn (which of course is also more expensive).
There was a police officer stationed there all night. Everything else.
I arrived after 10pm, and the lobby was closed. The gentleman at the window told me I could not come in after lobby hours. I had to stand outside in the rain while he fumbled through paperwork and couldn't find my reservation. I felt like a second class citizen. It was cheap, but next time I'm in the area I'll use a hotel that's not going to kick me out of the lobby.
We went to Raleigh NC, for a concert hotel room was clean, had extra towels, iron and breakfast had too many options Can't complain it was great
I loved the cleanliness of the room and eating area. The food was really good. The hallway and rooms smelled fresh. Very close to lots of food and the mall was 8min away and the highway was 10 seconds away from the entrance. I would definitely stay again. As a solo female traveler I didn't feel 100% safe because I was in a suite which was in the back of the parking lot and there were people propping the door open and sitting in the hallways. I did like that you could only get in with a key card as long as no-one had the door propped open.
The beds were comfortable and the soundproofing with the outside was perfectly adequate (and necessary given the location at the interchange of I-440 and Route 1). The free included breakfast was pretty decent, too. Good selection of beverages and healthful and non-healthful options. The hot breakfast items varied from day to day, which is nice for multi-night stays. Free wi-fi worked without issue. Sounds traveled fairly easily from the adjoining room to ours, perhaps because there were shared doors that could allow them to be used by people traveling together. On one out of four nights, we were kept awake by the conversation of a group of men enjoying themselves until eleven or midnight, and on another out of the nights, we were awakened at 5:45 by conversation from wedding guests (a very large party was staying in multiple rooms up and down the hallway). The guests were not being obviously inconsiderate and probably had no idea how audible they were. Between them and the fairly loud AC unit, it was difficult to get enough sleep. Our other two nights were better. Possibly other rooms would not have suffered as much from this problem.
No issues - clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. Not much else to ask for.
The rooms were ok The check in process took about 30 minutes because there was only one staff member working the front desk.
The lobby was very pretty and inviting, room was clean and cozy. It was very nice to come in very late at night to find security walking the halls. There was nothing I didn't really like, the room definitely needed more towels (only 2), and it would have been nice to have a small fridge/microwave as a bonus.
The room and the friendly staff service was great. Especially the outstanding and friendly lady chef who prepared the breakfast meal. The food, beverages, cleanness and service provided by the chef were top notch. This was our 2nd stay at this location. As much as we "did" enjoy our stay, there were a couple of items I would like to address. I was disappointed to discover we did not have a small ice box or a microwave in our room. To start we had little sleep with no food, beverage or rest prior to arriving at Best Western on July 20th. We started our day up at 1:30am to prepare for our road trip. By 6:00 am we arrived to within 20 miles East of Raleigh, we found the West bound traffic on I-40 was horrific bumper to bumper until our exit off at the I-440 exit. By the time we arrived at Best Western later that afternoon we were exhausted, due to our road trip and to my fiancee's numerous medical appointments & procedure earlier that day. After our check in we learned that a guest down the hallway from us had "2" large canine's in their room. So when anyone walked by the room the dogs would begin to bark excessively. After we obtained ice, we retired to our room and managed to obtain a meal, after which we turned in for the evening @ 5:30pm, hoping for nothing more than wonderful peace and quiet. Which we did manage to obtain for about 1 to 2 hours, after that we were woken up numerous times by loud and noisy talking guest, who opened and closed their room doors entirely to much. We would have called the front desk and complained if we were not so physically and mentally exhausted. The noise generated in the hallway seems to be amplified by small hallway. Regardless after 12:30am we were back up unable to rest any longer and began the task to prepare for our trip back home.
Large room, fairly nice for the price. The hospitality staff wakes you up with 3 minutes of knocking on the door at 9 am. Checkout wasn't until 11 so this was a rude wake-up after working late.
The complementary breakfast was great and the room was really comfortable! Very close to downtown and had some great restaurants around it! There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom
Very close to where we needed to be. Convenient location. Staff was very courteous. The room didn't have a refrigerator, microwave or a working coffee machine. Staff was unable to accommodate us when we wanted to heat up food in the evening. The lobby operated only during specific hours. Once the lobby, not the desk, was closed you were out of luck and any amenities not the room you went without. There was hair in the bed which lead us to believe the room was not thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom was not refreshed so we ended up spreading towels on the floor. The room felt damp which made the room uncomfortable. We didn't get a good nights sleep. We were relieved to check out.
Modern, green conscious, staff was very friendly and we loved the suite set up. The free breakfast was so healthy and delicious
Entry, included breakfast, room layout, ease of access Coffee taste was not good
Plenty of room, was clean and quiet. I have no complaints
The staff members were so helpful and nice !! You cannot beat this place !! Had awesome time !! Free shuttle to airport and also the breakfast is luxury and restaurant food is legit !!!!
It's a nice hotel The night shift workers looked at me like I don't supposed to be in their hotel. Then put me in a handicap room. Never reserved a handicap room but they put me in one.
Well designed room, good location right off highway. Nice stay
The hotel had an excellent chef. He prepared us a delicious meal on our first night when we had just spent the whole day in the car. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the pillows were very soft and the pool was having an issue.
The hotel staff was friendly and hepful The first room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The hall carpet was a mess and there were frayed edges at the door transitions. Overall cleanliness was poor. The second room was a little improved. No cigarette smoke odor everything else was about the same. We could have stayed in a similar hotel, in terms of overall condition, for less money. In fact we recently stayed at a newer facility for less.
You can check in early as 4 pm and I went at 7 pm and the room was not ready I have to wait 1 hr to I can check in Floors the pool is next to the elevator and the hallway it was al wet because people coming out fro the pool walk to the elevator was all wet make the floors wet
In City Center, helpful front desk staff, comfortable bed. Very high cost for City size. When asked was lied to about parking and Internet access. Was told that hotel parking was valet only for $30. This was wrong. You can self park for $12 though we parked one block away for $7. Also, was told Internet access was $10 per day. Lies. There was free Hotel 24 hour Internet Access for free, albeit slower but ok for email and general internet access. When we went to breakfast at 9am, there was no staff and we had to ask front desk and suddenly 6 staff members suddenly appeared. Not acceptable for this class of hotel. Breakfast was over priced for what you get.
Location Confusion on parking...was attending a motorcycle event in the area
Friendly, staff at the front desk were very happy and helpful. We were able to check in when we arrived without delay. We felt safe and secure. The Rye restaurant offered a evening meal buffet special and it was great. Although the hotel was hosting multiple events, it did not feel overcrowded or too busy. Road closure preventing returning to hotel during the race. It would have been nice to show a hotel vouchered to gain access to a way/or escort to the parking area.
Breakfast and big rooms Not applicable
Liked location, central and close to mall, felt relatively safe. Enjoyed alternate entrance nearer to room. Size of room was great, fridge and microwave a plus. Nice woodsy view outside of windows. Staff was very nice. Pool seemed nice but didn't go. Would stay again, very nice value for the price. I did not love the slow elevators, and they need a not protein at breakfast. Love hard boiled eggs but with three nights it got a bit old. A nice scrambled egg option would make all the difference in this hotel for me. They also needed to vacuum the halls a bit more for overall cleanliness impression. But these wouldn't affect my decision to stay again.
The staff was very nice. Location was perfect for us. Tired. Has been remodeled, but .... toilet very old, very low to the floor.
Staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. It was a little hard to find as there was only a small sign. The plantings were nice and it was well maintained. Other guests - Our room was freezing when we arrived and it was nice weather so we opened the window but had to close is as there were people outside smoking and even though we were on the 4th floor, the smoke came in the window. The people stayed in the parking lot until after midnight and were loud. Also, just as a heads up, we were in a king suite and there was a couch but it was not a sleeper - could only be used as a twin.
No fan in bathroom working
Good central location for the Raleigh area. Staff are polite and courteous. Beds are comfortable and clean. Good price on the wallet, but you know the saying.... Breakfast was....well, you might prefer to spend the money going out for that. Main elevator was frustratingly slow. 5 to 10 minute wait even though there are only 5 floors. No door whatsoever marking stairs. The other side of the hotel did have stairs, but not marked. The maid always forgot to replenish potty paper.
Leaving Hairs on bedding, dried rice on counter, stains on bed, frn, and carpet.
Rooms are very plain. Work area is not functional. Needs to step-up to 00's - wireless internet would be nice. Bottomline -- very overpriced for the Cary area.
Everything about the room was fine except that it was a smoking room. I had reserved a non-smoking room. When I checked in, they told me I was getting a non-smoking room, but it was clear after I got into it that they had just aired out a smoking room and sprayed air freshener. When I complained they admitted that they were out of non-smoking rooms, so I was stuck. Just pretending to give the customer what they ordered and waiting to see if they catch on is not the quality of service I except from a Marriott.
this hotel was located near major roads and highways with easy access to restaurants and stores. the room was clean, great a/c, had a computer hook up if needed and great parking lot.'
The food at The Bistro was Amazing! Hannah Rocks! Thank You for providing such great service.
I stayed there only 1 day, without complains
I stayed at this hotel with the love of my life, I was the best time of our lives. And i owe it all to this hotel, the service and the room was just amazing we felt right at home. I would highly recommed this hotel to any couples who are in love and want to feel right at home.
Clean rooms and nice facilities. Enjoyed the hot tub which was located inside and the pool which was located outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was overpriced at $* per person. When we booked we were told free breakfast on the weekends, but were not given any vouchers. This made for a bit of an uncomfortable situation when we were brought a bill, but the wait staff took care of it after a brief explanation. Lesson learned... ask at check-in for free breakfast coupons/vouchers. I REALLY would not have wanted to pay $* each for what was offered. We liked the security of the Courtyard layout with pool and activities enclosed. There was some shopping close by, and better shopping several exits to the east. The biggest mall is much closer to Raleigh so might want to consider a closer hotel if you are there for the shopping. Otherwise, I would stay here again if visiting the Cary area.
This is hotel was more than i expected i fell in love at this hotel.
The hotel was beyond our expectation. The front desk was very attentive, providing great recommendations for restaurants. They also provided type-written directions to nearby malls and movie theaters. The bed was SWEET and the room service was above average. The staff was attentive. I will return again.

This hotel was perfect. The room had a full kitchen, living room area with a fireplace, and bedroom area. Lots of space. Very clean. The warm breakfast was a surpise too. This hotel has everything you need.
The cleanliness of the rooms and housekeeping was very nice. You need a sign noting to NOT take your pets in to the dining area. There is nothing noted and I was rudely told to get my dog out of the eating area (I wasn't where the food was, only where you sit out near the lobby).
Comfortable beds. Good food at breakfast. Air Conditioner was very load. Woke up every time it went on. Bathroom door would not close tightly.
Rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. An excellent place to stay if traveling with pets, though the added pet fee of $*/stay is a bit steep. The hotel is convenient to interstates and is in a nice, safe, well-landscaped business park setting. All rooms are smoke-free, which was a huge plus for our family. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed for one night and was an excellent experience. Friendly staff, great hot breakfast, and clean.
Newly renovated room No fridge No iron No WIFI (broken)
There isn't carpeting so you know that the floor is clean. The television worked well, even during several storms that occurred while we were there. They have guest laundry facilities. No coffee pot in the room, you have to ask for a hair dryer and iron and ironing board, only a few rooms had refrigerators and microwaves and those were booked the whole time we were there. The staff told me that they didn't have something and then my husband went and asked for the same thing later and they had plenty. They only leave soap ( that smelled terrible) and shampoo. No lotion, conditioner or any of the other little goodies that they usually leave.
The first room they gave us had the air conditioner hanging off he wall and a makeshift unit on the floor, the second room they gave us the smoke alarm was hanging off the wall and the bathroom looked nothing like the pictures it was old and very outdated. The room was dirty and the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. Oh and the staff was VERY unfriendly. We left and went to another hotel.
Comfortable beds, clean up to date rooms, and friendly staff.
The convenience of where the hotel was located, everything was in walking distance While I don't think it was a bad area, there were a lot of people outside around the building. I didn't feel very comfortable getting in/out of my vehicle being that I was traveling alone. The toilet was also broken in the room, it was constantly running water. Check-in lady wasn't very friendly but the gentleman when I checked out was very nice
The location was within walking distance of many dining establishments. The hotal provided a listing and directions for these eateries. The hotel dining accommodations (decor) could use an update.
You pay for parking per vehicle. They'll give you as many as you want but won't warn you. Not a big issue, and those who travel frequently likely know this. This just took us off guard.
Not even complimentary coffee in lobby for am
The location phenomenal. Everything was fantastic, until morning, kind of like when you go out and drunkenly bring someone home. I prepaid for my booking, and so when the front desk asked me for a credit card, I didn't think anything of it. Just to cover incidentals, the clerk said. I woke up to a receipt slid under the door, $7 for parking. I was kinda ticked, but didn't really mind, because we parked in a parking garage, and i figured no major cost, its fine. Breakfast prices were insane. "Breakfast buffet" for 2 with one water and one juice was over $30. I say "buffet" because it was little more than a continental breakfast. On the buffet line were fruit, cereal, milk, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, grits, and oatmeal (maybe I missed an item or two.) The restaurant had terribly poor service, the food was mediocre at best. The night before we went and grabbed dinner at The Burough, within walking distance of the hotel, for 2 entrees, 2 sides, 2 drinks, an appetizer, and amazing service, we paid the same as we did for breakfast.
the bathroom facilities were too low
Location, clean and neat Staff was less than competant, initially told me that they had no record of our second room being booked. Told us we would have to call the booking agent to resolve the issue. While waiting for the manager, another clerk came and found the reservation. Our initial person, had in correctly spelled the parties name. Instead of checking, she just told us there was no room available. Restaurant was inadequately staffed. There were only two wait staff and one cook on duty for breakfast, service was very slow and were seating people serving and clearing. Not enough people for a full hotel.
Great location. Everything clean. The person I checked in with was not very friendly or welcoming but rest of the staff we encountered were great.
Breakfast staff was unfriendly; breakfast is poor
Desk staff was friendly. Located near some night life. Toenail clippings on carpet. The window shade was broken and hanging down. Shower head was pointed out of the shower initially which could have made a mess. The hotel seemed to have been recently remodled, but somehow in a state of disrepair.
Can' beat the location, can walk to everything TINY bathrooms, no pool
Free parking, the room was ready and clean when we arrived, the staff was efficient. Front desk attendant was not knowledgeable about area.
the room, internet connection, location, safety, hotel staffs.
