Pros: Very clean. Extremely nice I was worried about breaking things. Very happy and will stay again when ewe are in the area
Abigail House Bed and Breakfast LLC is a great choice for a stay in Danville. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 8:30 AM and 10 AM. Rooms at this upscale bed & breakfast get the details right with nice touches like iPod docks, premium bedding, and bathrobes.
Pros: Its a little thing but I really liked the little night light they had near the floor by the bathroom. I thought that was a brilliant idea
Pros: With pre-check in done before we left for vacation, the in-person check in took less than 1 minute with Bob. An absolutely pleasant and easy experience. Very clean, excellent breakfast, and quiet, a top-notch hotel and experience!
Pros: Everything...it was a welcome respite after a very long day of travel. It is pretty to look at, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are lots of little perks and amenities such as free newspapers, cookies and other treats, bags of ice, etc. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds did not have those awful synthetic coverlets, but rather, nice textured linens in natural fabrics, including the bedspread...so you know they are laundered frequently. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was also a spa with jets. I believe there was a pool, though I didn't have time to use it. The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of selection from cold to hot. It was the best hotel I've stayed in for many years. I was only there for a very quick overnight. I wish I would have arrived earlier so that I could have relaxed and enjoyed it more.
Cons: Nothing. It was truly a nice place. I even heard a little boy of about 10 or so say to his dad at breakfast "This is a very nice set-up here!" and I must wholeheartedly agree!
Pros: Kind and welcoming staff. Breakfast was ready at 6 a.m. and exactly what I needed.
Pros: Every aspect was excellent. Price exceptionally good as well!
Cons: a little high priced
Pros: It was clean, updated, and great staff
Pros: Clean room and Very Friendly Staff
Cons: It was priced a bit high IMHO
Pros: Very clean and up to date...the bed was one of the best I have slept in...great free breakfast.
Pros: Very clean, quality hotel. Would stay there again.
Highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area.
Pros: It was a brand new hotel so everything was nicely done. The decor was modern and the free breakfast was just what we needed. The staff was friendly and they even upgraded our room!
Cons: Nothing - everything was excellent!
Pros: A good holiday in express. Very new, clean and the bathroom was bright and very nice .
Pros: Close to shops, free breakfast, cleanliness
Pros: The cleanliness and breakfast food was outstanding
If you are coming to this area, this is the place to stay.
Pros: Clean, quiet. Pretty new. The breakfast was great. Hot coffee of various brews available all the time.
Cons: There was one towel with a huge hole in it.

Pros: Had amenities that other hotels did nkmot have like pool and hottub. Location to where we needed to be was good overall.
Cons: Hot tub was dirty and kind of gross. Not enough seating or food for breakfast.
Pros: I like Hampton Inns particularly for 1) desks with good reading lamps, 2) nice breakfast, 3) comfortable beds. Because of the previous guest my room phone wasn't working, BUT a cheerful employee fixed it immediately
Pros: Very clean.
Pros: Hampton Inn's are always clean and the staff is friendly.
Pros: The pool was nice. It is close to Knoebels park.
Cons: The refrigerator slid out and spilled our water and a vanilla shake all over the carpet we cleaned it up. When we checked out I told the clerk they did not offer a discount.
Pros: Nice hotel. Clean and friendly, Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, nice staff, rich breakfast and very convinient location by 180
Cons: A bit pricy and cold water in the pool
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the people were very, helpful, and friendly.

Pros: clean - nice pool area - nice breakfast area
Cons: We were told we could hold a family gathering that would include locals and then a couple weeks before the event, were told we could not unless they were guests.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, room, staff, public spaces all met my expectations and were all fine to excellent.
Cons: The problem was internet service- it was non-existent at worst and weak at best. Although it is advertised as 'free' I suspect if you *really* want internet, you should request for business internet and pay the fee. Too bad.
Nice people, clean hotel, close to university.
Pros: Great service. People really nice.
Pros: Pool hours and free hot breakfast
Pros: After staying at other local hotels in the area, this was a clean, well run hotel with a great room for the price point.
Pros: The lady in the breakfast area was extremely polite to everyone. She made sure that everything any guest needed was there. She was constantly emptying the garbage or refilling the food. She is definitely an asset to the hotel staff. Always had a smile
Cons: only that it was located some distance from our end destination. Otherwise, a terrific value
This hotel is clean and well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The lobby was so inviting I would have liked to have time to just sit and relax there! There was a separate dining room for the excellent, free hot breakfast. And, bookshelves full of books for us to borrow and take with us, to be returned at our next stay. A wonderful experience.
Pros: Extremely pleasant, professional, friendly and helpful staff. Smiles and friendly greetings everywhere. Front desk reception made us feel welcome after a long drive.
Cons: I can't think of anything I did not like! We liked it so much that we asked if there was the same hotel near our next stop. Tammy at the front desk was extra helpful, not only finding the hotel but calling them and making the reservation for us.
Pros: I went to a wedding and the location was perfect. It was clean, quiet, and easy to get too. Well located next to a gas station.
Pros: Dining Room-- always a great menu, friendly professional staff, hotel manager, always willing to assist with any problem solving and answer questions
Cons: Continental breakfast on Labor Day-- could include dry cereal and milk, cranberry juice
Cons: Wish bedding was all white
Cons: size of the standard room was extremely small. We expected a queen size bed but it was only full size. Very expensive on the weekend for what you get.
Pros: The room was very nice, but pricey for Danville; food is very good at restaurant.
Cons: The overall noise (doors to rooms and outdoors as well as room noise) in Building 3 is very loud; did not like that bathroom light automatically went on when within 3 feet of the bathroom door.
Enjoy your visit to Danville with a stay at Pine Barn Inn. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with room service and free WiFi.
Pros: Hotel room okay But noisey Bikers group At night. Sit drink beer Loud loud talking Carrying to late night,,very unpleasant
Cons: Again. No staff present to deal with loud loud biker groups drinking beers outside room etc.
Pros: Convenient to shopping
Cons: Check out time has changed to 11am instead of 12 without being informed. 12 noon is an important check out time for us so unfortunately we will not be booking at that hotel again
Pros: Convenient location priced right
Cons: Hotel was fine just no vending machines on the floor and the snack area had limited selections and no diet soda
Pros: Good location, nice staff, good breakfast.
Cons: Well the scrambled eggs, strange lumpy texture, sausage not too good. Prefer bacon.
Pros: The proximity to Bucknell and the price can't be beat.
Cons: The breakfast options were not particularly dazzling. Even my Cheerios were stale.
Pros: Breakfast included. Extra pillows on bed
Cons: Kleenex was rough
Pros: It was nice cleanand start was friendly. I like having a couch to sit on and the refrigerator and microwave.
Cons: I thought the eggs and sausage breakfast was of cheap quality that you'd expect to cheaper hotels.
Pros: The rooms were very large with two queen size beds and a pull out sofa.
Cons: Nothing. The staff was friendly and the room were clean.
Pros: Really a great bargain. Clean, great amenities, wonderful breakfast, extremely helpful and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone making a trek on I-80. If you're going from Cleveland to NYC, it's a good halfway point.
Cons: It's a little ways off I-80, but the drive isn't terrible. Plus you pass lots of shops and stores on the way so you can pick up some late night hotel snacks or a quick bite since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast buffet was quite good.
Pros: Complimentary breakfast and pool
Pros: Very nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was good. Will stay again if In that area.
Pros: Small but good fitness room. Excellent breakfast. Nice room with frig and microwave.
Cons: Location a bit difficult to get into. Probably unavoidable considering the traffic issues.

Cons: Squeaky doors, toilet that squealed for an abnormally long time after flushing. Sofa was in disrepair so that I really could not open it to sleep. Bedroom with 2 queen beds had only a lamp between the beds--no table or surface of any kind.
Pros: This has been the best Hotel I have ever stay in staff was very helpful the room was very clean.
Cons: I have no complaints at all was very pleased with the whole thing.
Woman at front desk did not speak english. She had to call someone who came in 5 minutes. Air didn't work. Man was trying to make it right, but I wasn't happy.
Pros: The lay out of the room
Cons: I called the day before to check reservation and was told all was good, upon arrival was told I couldn't have the 2 bed suite I reserved. I was given a 1 bed suite (for 3 people) and was told I could change rooms the next day. Air did not work.
Pros: SPOTLESSLY clean, and everything good repair. These are true 'suites,' with closed-off bedroom, separate living room, and fully-functional kitchen with full-sized stove & fridge. Charming and brilliant hostess. Strong A/C. NICE 3-star room @ 1-star $.
Cons: The walls are a little thin, and the exterior of the building and the stairs are a little 'tired' and cheap-looking, but don't let that put you off. The room is a solid, NICE three-star live-in suite. This is a true bargain for the price.
The staff member, while polite, initially charged us for 2 nights, even though the reservation was for only one night. We did get the second night removed from the bill. Further, given the appearance of the surroundings, only a single lock on the room door, and the fact that the lobby itself was locked with several locks, we did not feel safe at the hotel. We ultimately decided not to stay at the hotel at all, and found another place to stay for the night.
Pros: The single member of the staff was polite.
Cons: The room description was inaccurate; the 'deluxe' suite was a small room with a sofa bed, low quality furniture and a television that did not work. The room was below ground, so it had neither a view nor a balcony.
Pros: It has a full kitchen it's somewhat convenient . Because it's pretty far from a convenient store.
Cons: When we got there we were very tired, and the room was very cold so we had to sleep with some close on until it got lot warmer.
Pros: Very clean Low Price
Cons: One TV in none in bedroomthought it was 2 queen bed suiteone bed and a pull out sofa
Pros: Clean and nice room
Cons: Door needs weatherstripping around it to save on heat
Pros: The room was very clean and fresh. It looked updated.
Pros: Very clean and very friendly.
Cons: It was a little small for the 4 of us but we made due.
Cons: We only needed to stay one night. Price was good for what we needed. We had a 1 year old stay with us. The place was decently clean, but not the type of hotel I'd want her crawling on the floor on. Comfortor had a few stains
Pros: The king size bed was comfortable, we had plenty of pillows. The sheets were crisp and fresh and the AC worked great.
Cons: We had just an okay visit. When I went to check-in I noticed a large dead bug in the crevasse of the doorway. After I got my key and walked into my room it had a very humid and musty smell that never went away even after the AC was turned on. The caulking in the shower wasn't cleaned well and was really grimy and moldy
Pros: The room was clean! The shower was divine - Water was hot and water pressure was like getting a massage!
Cons: I didn't like that they charged a daily fee for using the safe. I did not use the safe and had the fee removed from my bill when I checked out of the hotel.
Pros: Great price, comfortable mattress, generally clean
Cons: Slight musty smell
Pros: Value, right off highway.
Cons: No closet. No extra blankets in room.
Pros: Room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. Very good night's sleep.
Cons: Nothing! Really was very good.
Red Roof Inn Danville, PA is 100 percent Non-Smoking with Newly Renovated Rooms featuring Flat-Screen TVs. We are three miles north of downtown Danville and conveniently located off of I-80 at Exit 224, Red Roof Danville is 3 miles from Geisinger Medical Center, 8 miles from Bloomsburg Fairgrounds and just 10 miles from Knoebles Grove Amusement Park—take the kids! The Priestly House Museum and Bloomsburg University are 15 miles; Bucknell and Susquehanna Universities, and Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mines are about ½ hour’s drive.
Cons: Breakfast was terrible. Coffee was undrinkable.
Pros: good location, clean. king suite room was nice and we got it for less than 2 queen beds room. Little was available in the area due to PIAA swimming finals held nearby, so this was a happy find The plethora of high school swimmers were very nicely behaved guests and our stay was very quiet..
Cons: housekeeping was having to do redo someone's room. blankets, bedspreads, sheets and all in the late afternoon for a room with 2 dogs apparently, and was quite vocally not okay with it , Another young woman client was camped out on the couch in the lobby for hours Friday afternoon.. These things weren't very welcoming.
Pros: I was a little hesitant based on some poor reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and filled the bill as a place to spend the night after a long drive to visit Knoebels.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't all that great, but the coffee was good and you could make your own waffles (which were pretty good), so, considering there was no extra charge for breakfast, it was probably a good deal.
Pros: I had the same room I did last year :)
Cons: I paid $140 for a room with a jacuzzil tub. It pricey but worth it
Pros: The room was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located near Danville, with no outside traffic noise.
Cons: The room was freezing cold when we got there, and took a while to warm up.
Pros: We were in a room with a King bed that was very spacious with a nice seating area and 2 TVs! Nice size bathroom. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: The only minor issue was that they could have used brighter lightbulbs. There were plenty of lamps, but they all had low wattage and the room was dark.
Pros: They allowed our dog. There is no alternative in the Danville area, and if you're coming to NYC after a long trip, this is a good place to stop. Rooms were clean.
Cons: 1. no refrigerators in rooms unless you get one of their few such rooms.
2. ditto microwaves
3. plumbing backs up (we've stayed here twice, both times the same).
4. random stuff doesn't work, like our AC in the last room,
It's a pretty enough motel for the price but expect some hassle.
Pros: Everything was clean ,would come back anytime.
Pros: We were in town for the weekend and didn't want to stay at a "cheap motel," the Best Western provided us with a little more luxury at an affordable price. The room was up to date with a flat screen TV and nice bedding. The room was clean for the most part and comfortable for our stay. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast but they did have a nice set-up.
Cons: We paid a little extra for a room with a jacuzzi however when we filled it with water and finally figured out how to turn on the jets, we noticed the water was extremely dirty which was not only disgusting but disappointing as well.
Pros: The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating when we asked to be moved to a different room. All staff seemed very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The first room we were given smelled like a combination of wet dog and urine, with the chairs in the room covered in stains. Hating to be "those people" and complain...we were too grossed out to stay in that room and requested another. The employee working at the front desk was very apologetic and kind and gave us another room immediately. This room was slightly less offensive, but I was still less than impressed with the overall cleanliness of the place- stained carpets, hair in the shower/tub, the hotel soaps and lotions had previously been opened and used (gross...), etc. We travel and stay in hotels regularly, and I would not stay here again. I am sure there are much worse hotels out there, but this place was not up to the (reasonable) standards I expect.
Pros: room comfort ok
Cons: Pool closed

Cons: Was disappointed that there was no fresh fruit at breakfast.
Also that a non smoking room cost more that a smoking room.

Pros: Inexpensive lodging with friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet.
Pros: It was close to the highway.
Cons: I did not feel safe in this hotel. The first room I was given did not have a working lock. There was a large dead bug on the floor. The second room had a working lock, but there was a used band aid on the floor of the room. This was a horrible experience.
Pros: Quick, neat and friendly
Pros: friendly greeting from the clerk, room bright and clean much bigger then it seemd in the picture, quiet setting
Cons: not really it was perfect for what I was looking for and will be sure to look it up again on my next rip out to Ohio
Pros: The location was close to the Hospital
Cons: Room was dirty, so we had to change rooms twice. Staff was not attentive or listened when called for room service.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. Good lighting in parking lot.
Cons: Carpeting could use a good cleaning. Exterior of building needs a good power wash and painting it would make a world of difference. Breakfast needs improvement with more items such fruit and yogurt (had very limited choices).
Pros: The lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays. Very clean and staff was friendly.
Pros: Great stay and experience. Although there was little aesthetical issues, it is definitely worth the cost.
Cons: Little to nothing
Pros: Pleasant surprise. King bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and big screen on the wall. I wish the channel changer had a menu and could get info about the channels (only negative).
Cons: TV channel changer needs to be able to provide info about the channel that it's on (need a menu).
Cons: In the range of cheaper hotels but perfect for a one night pass through. Would book again.
Pros: Very nice place to stay. Used this motel in the past . Would use again .

Cons: Old outdated dirty bathroom, dirty refrigerator, Storage underneath of staircase? No one in the office in the am.
Pros: The bed
Cons: The room had mold in it. It was not clean at all . pulled furniture away from the wall its was nasty. Mold on the roof of the bathroom . Bathroom tub was not cleaned. I have pictures of the room . It was not worth --- dollar. It needwd to be ---
Pros: Air conditioner worked well since it was really hot out. Beds weren't bad.
Cons: When we arrived, our room was given to someone else under my name!... They never checked id and didn't charge the guy because our room was prepaid. They ended up calling him down to office and charging him and giving us a different room. It delayed our
Cons: Very dirty, poor parking, and other people staying at hotel were smoking, drinking beer and shirtless in parking lot and public walkways
Pros: Came with a mini fridge and microwave, was clean and not dilapidated, great for the price
Cons: Ice machine was broken
the coffee pot still had coffee in it. no coffee was left.
Cons: the room was not cleaned before we arrived. the
Pros: I liked it because of the location
Cons: what i didnt like is that the room wasn't maintained well, i found spider walking on top of the bed and other insects...the lamp near the bed wasnt working, the nightstand drawers wouldn't open and the cabinets looked old and dusty.
Pros: This was the closest hotel to my destination that I could find with a reasonable price
Cons: It was very basic, but the bed was comfortable
Pros: The reason why I like the hotel is because it was close to my desired location.
Cons: The reason why I didn't like it because they didnt have my room set up. There was some confusion with what I wanted, I asked for two beds on online, when I got to the hotel there was one bed, so they had to transfer me to another room.
Pros: The room was fine, as expected.
Cons: Promised free breakfast, but the office was locked. We had to ring the doorbell to even check out at 7 am. We couldn't have had that stale cereal even if we wanted to!
Cons: Yes they did not change sheets big stains on sheets
Cons: Grumpy front desk check-in. Stained upholstery on chair. Bathroom ceiling tiles broken, not replaced. Large amounts of enamel off of sink and tub. Phone in room, to reach front desk, did not work. Went to plug in phone charger and found extension cord with multiple plug-ins already: tv, microwave, refrigerator. That is a fire hazard. Extremely poor lighting in breakfast area. We've stayed here in the past and were happy with the accomodations. 10 years later - not so. we will not stay here again.
Pros: I've stayed at the Day's Inn multiple times since it's one of the only hotels (excluding AirBnB's and bed/breakfasts in town) that you don't actually need a car to get onto Bucknell's campus. Relatively cheap compared to the other hotels.
Cons: The establishment is not known for being the best, but at least it's usually good enough for a quick trip. However, this year my room was just not good, and didn't feel clean. The whole place is in need of major renovations, but especially this room. Water stains on the falling-apart ceiling in the bathroom (which makes me think there's probably mold/mildew growing in there), whole room smelled damp and musky (it was on the first floor), the toilet wasn't completely clean when I arrived, etc. And because I booked through a third party/paid upfront and not directly through the hotel, I couldn't get a refund or cancel my reservation so I could go to another place.
Pros: The room was fine for our needs but the bathroom was full of mildew making the shower unusable. In addition the wifi was very poor, making it a difficult experience for our son. The pool was very nice though and the staff friendly.
Pros: Clean, ac works, no complaints besides a poor continental breakfast
Cons: Breakfast, pool closed, beds in outdoor stairwells were kinda weird
