Pros: I had a lovely stay at crestant cottage. The location was the perfect proximity to the station and the wedding venue I was attending. The BnB was clean and homely and the cherry on the cake was the amazing host Nikki! Nikki was super friendly and even gave me a free ride back to the train station when I was leaving.

Pros: Nikki was extremely helpful and went out her way to make me feel at home! Would 100% come back
4.6 Okay
Pros: Owner is nice and kind, but not flexible - we asked her to stay till 11 am, she declined. Explained, that till 4 pm is not enough time to change 2 beds :)
Cons: The shared bathroom is terrible! Water is hot or cold in the shower. Toilet in the night time and day time always busy! Room clean, but not comfortable - there is no space for luggage. Only two sockets - for lamp and for cattle, there are no sockets to charge phone and computer. And the last - if you are checking in from 4 pm, the check out is till 10.30, why is the price so high? 75 pound?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to the A3 for easy access to London and Portsmouth
Cons: I had a room on the front looking out onto the car park. It felt very exposed as there were no met curtains but apparently the windows are one way glass so no-one can see in during the daytime but I did not know this.

Pros: The greeting on entering the Jolly Drover after a long journey. The room was well equipped, spacious and plenty of tea & coffee bags. After a comfortable nights restful sleep the breakfast was excellent with a varied choice of cereals and a hearty cooked breakfast of your choice.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The evening meal and the breakfast were very well cooked and presented, with plenty of choice. I would stay there again when in the area.
Cons: There was nothing that warrants a negative comment. My wife would have preferred a second pillow to be available but, to be fair, we did not ask for one so this is not a criticism. I am sure, that had we asked the staff for another pillow they would have accommodated.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: A very welcoming host, superb location for the south downs way and Queen Elizabeth country park, meals were excellent
Cons: Our room a little smaller than we would have liked but comfortable. Our friends had an excellent large room with bath
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great rural location, excellent for Southdowns Way Nice big room, great breakfast would recommend
4.2 Okay
Pros: DECORATED WELL AND CLEAN
Cons: THE ROOM WAS SO SMALL THAT ONE OCCUPANT IN THE DOUBLE BED COULD ONLY GET OUT OF BED WITH GREAT DIFFICULTY. THIS WAS DUE TO A SLOPING CEILING FROM HIP HEIGHT AND THE FACT THAT THERE WAS ONLY 40cm MAXIMUM SPACE BESIDES THE BED. IN THIS SPACE THERE WAS ALSO A RADIATOR HANGING ON THE WALL AND AT THE END OF THIS SIDE OF THE BED WAS A TV WHICH HAD TO BE MANOEUVRED ROUND. THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT FLOOR SPACE TO PUT A SMALL OVERNIGHT SUITCASE WITHOUT TRIPPING OVER IT. IN OUR OPINION THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SINGLE ROOM WITH A SINGLE BED. THE BATHROOM HAD NO STAND UP SHOWER WHICH MEANT YOU HAD TO SIT IN THE BATH. NO GRAB RAIL AND YOU HAD TO STEP OUT ONTO A NARROW STEP WHICH WAS ONE OF THREE LEVELS IN THE BATHROOM. THIS WAS VERY DANGEROUS. THE ONLY WINDOWS IN THE WHOLE AREA WERE SKYLIGHTS SO HIGH THAT IN EVENT OF A FIRE WOULD BE NO ESCAPE ROUTE AND THE ACCESS TO THE ROOM WAS A VERY NARROW STAIRWAY THREE STORIES UP. WE ATE IN THE RESTAURANT BOTH MY PARTNERS MEALS WERE VERY DRY. WE WERE BOTH EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY AND PRICE OF THE MEAL.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming atmosphere

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Facilities.
Cons: Food could have been better.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Spa facilities is good. It is a serene environment that can help one relax. The facility have activities to keep you busy / fit. Spa service was good.
Cons: - food service was poor - bed was hard and uncomfortable - phone in the room wasn't working so we couldn't even call reception to complain from the room - our neighbours were first playing loud music, then fighting / crying and we could hear all of it. - the windows are not double glazed, this will be a horrible place to visit in winter. - WiFi was almost non existent as it kept dropping off. We couldn't really use it. - Poor food options - food was TERRIBLE, we had to go out and eat at a cafe nearby (called LAZY LIZARD cafe) and ordered Chinese for dinner. I understand serving healthy food to guest, but make the healthy food edible. The chocolate fondant desert tasted like it was frozen for decades and microwaved, the custard served was cold and the shredded beef with rice was awful! The guy that served us was just rude!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The spa was ok but not treatments available
Cons: We were treated like outsiders as we did not book a spa day. The staff seemed very confused about everything and do not know how to run the business as a hotel. We would not stay again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The facilities and location were fantastic. Room was beautiful.
Cons: The staff were a bit slow. Lovely, but it was like when you asked for something it was the first time they'd ever been asked and didnt really know what to do...! Very odd! Also, was not impressed with having to pay £8 each for an off the shelf, supermarket like Ceasar Salad and Smoked Salmon sandwich!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was a bit surprised that there was no kefir or gut bacteria boasting breakfast items.
7.5 Good
Cons: 5pm check in 10am check out Restaurant very average food not impresive, charges extra for capucino these days not on
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff are awesome, Location fabulous food fab for those who want healthy options.
Cons: Bed too hard, very busy and a little under staffed to cope with the busyness of the place. Some guests don’t really appreciate that people are wanting a quiet time. My daughter would have liked to have had less healthier options!
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The fact we booked for our honeymoon, even had told them in advance. Had matching husband and wife jumpers on arrived not even a congratulations nothing even the 2 ladies booking in before us turned around and said it. Rude staff, the skink in our room was terrible have photos of this! The floor walking to our room covered in stains terrible hygiene! Have photos of this. 6am staff dragging a delivery right outside our room! The most un relaxing visit! Spoke to manger after he said it wasn’t on a note about us being only married 2 days ago he got up the email Up and I pointed it out! So it was visible, got chucked 2 samples of some product and that was that! Not even a apology Email nothing! Even on our booking the surname was spelt correct and on arrival it was spelt wrong!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful spa and hotel in a fantastic setting. The spa is well equipped, rooms are spacious and the surrounding natural area is outstanding.
Cons: The prices are misleading. It is unclear that when booking a hotel room the access to the pool and spa facilities are charged £55 per person on top. We only found out when already paid for the booking. The check-in is not until 5pm which makes no sense for those looking to travel for just one night. We were very disappointed to find out about the extra charges and would have appreciated a higher price upfront rather than finding out later we had to add more than a hundred pounds to use the spa (the only reason why we chose this place in the first place.) This could have been managed a lot better - when we complained about the charges we were told they were clearly stated on the booking page. Are they?
