Great location, great staff and a thoroughly decent place to stay.
Breakfast was excellent and free drink on arrival
Pub toilets on same level as bedrooms
Great hotel, restaurant, pub and roofgarden. Friendly people and excellent breakfast.
Bed was very comfortable. Ability to screen share on TV from phone was great. Bathroom was ideal. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent, if a little small portion wise.. I am a large and hungry individual though. Poached eggs and pastries at breakfast were excellent. Coffee machine and water in room were excellent too.
Room was noisy (on main road)and warm(no aircon), however I spoke to the staff in the morning and they advised a different room request the next time. Cooked breakfast was not great, I didn't have the opportunity to discuss properly though, as I had to leave in a hurry for a meeting. Sausage didnt taste great, nor did the bacon or black pudding . Poached egg was great. They could do breakfast from 7 if they are looking to attract a business clientele.
Friendly staff, excellent location. The setting was unique as the building offers not only rooms but a rooftop bar, a pub and a restaurant, all at your disposal. Highly recommended.
On Saturday and Friday nights it can get a bit noisy, which is to be expected since it is upstairs a pub and restaurant.
