Do not book here! They will scam you. We booked this hotel a year in advance for Kentucky Derby weekend 2022. We confirmed the reservation with the hotel front desk several times in the months leading up to the Kentucky Derby. The day before our check-in date, we were told that the hotel is “sold out” and we would be moved to the Quality Inn which was definitely a downgrade. When I refused, I was told that I would either have to switch hotels or they would cancel my reservation. When I asked for more information, I was told that the husband and wife that own this hotel and the Quality Inn decided to transfer 25 rooms from the nicer hotel to the worse hotel at the last minute. Very unethical! Don’t fall for this bait and switch!
2 days before our trip to the Kentucky Derby, the hotel cancelled our reservation and rebooked us at the Quality In and notified us via email.

Pros. I typically do not leave reviews, but I thought this hotel deserved it. First the staff was excellent, well mannered, and super helpful. check in/out was fast. Overall the hotel and the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable (& clean) breakfast was good, and the pool was not to hot or cold...very relaxing place and the price was unbeatable. I will stay here again when visiting and I would recommend to others! :)
Cons. The only thing I wasn't to pleased with was when checking out I was charged $25.00...the lady a the front desk said it would be returned but still yet to receive it. Other than that it was awesome.
Cons. The bed was less than a foot from the AC unit with the air aimed directly at my head the entire night.. Turning it off wasn't an option as it was 90+ in Louisville. The AC unit filter must have not been cleaned in years as after the second night, I woke up with a terrible sore throat and cough from what I assume is bacteria particles in the air. Terrible experience..
