Pros: I couldn't recommend this hotel more. From start to finish my family and I had a wonderful stay at the Thongbay guest house. Some of the plus points for this hotel were as follows. .Extremely helpful and friendly staff .Beautiful rooms .Comfortable beds .Free Taxi service to town and airport. .Location was perfect. .Delicious breakfast severed to room or by the Mekong River. I would definitely recommend this place to a family, couple or even single traveler that's looking for peace and complete relaxation.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Getting breakfast served on our balcony each morning at a time of our choosing was an unexpected treat. The staff were friendly and helpful, the riverside view was beautiful and the bungalow was very clean. We have already recommended the guesthouse to friends and family.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Really nice to have breakfast brought to our room each morning and to be able to sit on our own balcony to eat it. Very quiet location with a river view and lovely green grounds. Staff were very pleasant. Free drinking water supply to refill bottles.
Cons: More frequent shuttle buses into town. Better lighting in the room.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Such a nice resort villa accommodation so different and so much better than standard design hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff exceptional.Breakfeast brillant and food generally was very good. Lovely gardens
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The villa style is so different and so much better than just a hotel room. The design was interesting with rough stone walls in the bathroom, high ceiling, planked exterior, so different in every way, so nice, so comfortable. The location was convenient but quiet nice to wake to the sound of rooster and birds not city traffic. Enjoyed breakfast on the verandah overlooking the garden area so different to being in a room or crowded restaurant. A wonderful experience!!! Will surely return.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything from the moment we arrived to the last minute there incredibly warm, friendly staff, stunning river views, beautiful gardens, free shuttle to town and airport. 10/10 My favorite place I've stayed anywhere
Cons: Nothing. Only suggestion is allow people to mix and choose breakfast from all options instead of having to choose set option. Saying that the food was always delicious
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The guesthouse is beautifully situated and in a lovingly tended garden. Staff very friendly and attentive! The bungalows are grouped around the wonderful garden and some of them face the river. Everything works like a swiss- watch and the prices are reasonable. They have a great cook who prepares tasty meals. The air is good and the atmosphere peaceful. Rooms are big and the bathroom as well.
Cons: The WiFi could be a bit stronger and run beyond 22:00.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff were amazing. Well trained in customer service, pleasant and helpful. Front desk staff fluent in English. They even invited guests to join their staff party. I'm not exactly sure how they did it but they always knew us even with diffferent staff working. You can tell staff get along well and enjoy their jobs. Facilities were great along with beautiful grounds and views of river and local farm life. It was enjoyable stay and great place to relax.
Cons: A little noisy but not fault of guesthouse. More to do with location. Noise seems to be typical of local population.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice place with beautiful garden and also river view. The shuttle service into town was perfect. We have extended our stay and we liked it very much. Highly recommended.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: I stayed at Thongbay with a friend and Could not have been more satisfied with the guest house. Our bungalow overlooked a beautiful garden and every morning we had a delicious breakfast on the porch. The staff was incredibly helpful and organized transportation throughout Luang Prabang for the whole stay. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was a huge plus!
Cons: The location is a bit far from the center of town, but they do have a free shuttle that runs several times during the day. It would have been nice to have had a little more flexibility in terms of our ability to get into the main part of town, but we made it work!

Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the Mekong River. Both my partner and I loved the hotel - the exterior is a beautiful colonial building, and the room itself was clean, comfortable and met all of our needs. The hotel room included a range of different items that were perfect for our stay: free toiletries, soft towels, a bathrobe each, slippers. The room also included: a safe, an umbrella and hairdryer. Any problems we encountered the staff dealt with quickly - they were friendly and very welcoming. They helped us find different places to eat and drink. They also were on hand to help us book any travel arrangements we needed.
Cons: Nothing - it was perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, terrace view and comfort
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The facility was extremely accommodating for our needs. E.g. I was served all the coffee I wanted - in my room - breakfast hours as well as what we could order -were basically unlimited - the staff helped organise transport for our trips. Fans and umbrellas provided on the terrace.
Cons: There was a smell of cigarette smoke in my bedroom - on the second day only. I think because of a guest smoking on the balcony of his room above me (I cannot imagine he was smoking inside the room). This was despite my balcony door had been closed while we were out. While this was no big issue for us - I think perhaps Belle Rive would like to know - in case other customers are more sensitive to cigarette smoke.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Amazing hotel, the big balcony in the room with the view on Mekong. The room is big and has everything you need. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nice, the hotel has its own terrace overlooking the river
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice breakfast and homemade jam is the best. Lovely staff, helpful and friendly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is an amazing property just in front of the Mekong river! The staff is really professional and the services are top-notch quality. They supported all our questions and needs and made our stay a memorable experience.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location next to the Mekong River and short walking distance from everything. Overall design and architecture of the place was very nice.
Cons: Complimentary boat tour (cleanliness and overall state of the boat could be better, we got all the motor fumes for most of the trip, it was uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location with balcony overlooking Mekong. Very short walk from boat trip down from Huay Xai. Great staff , helpful and above all super friendly. Damien speaks perfect English and provided detailed info when we had to rearrange our holiday due to Coronavirus shutting Vietnam border. Luang Prabang has a laid back feel - very relaxed. Night market good and Kuangsi waterfall not to be missed. Great place to stay.
Cons: No negative issues with hotel.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The accommodation is a bit out of the city center, what makes it quite and remote. The swimming pool is beautiful, and after a nice day of walking this a perfect way to relax.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was quite good. Stuff was very friendly. Pool was just great even for children's. We liked very much the room coz it was quite big and very comfortable. And you can take the bike that you will find on parking place, and they were in good condition.
Cons: Only one minus was, that our house was near to local houses so the dogs and chicken in the night can awake you )))) But it was small thing ear plugs can help :)
Excellent 9.0
Pros: All of the people that work at Le Bel Air are so kind and welcoming, and really made our stay a treat. The food in the restaurant is first class, and the pool is magnificent. I can't wait to return for another visit.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were clean, spacious and well designed. The staff was amazing, friendly and competent. I have stayed at hundreds of first class hotels around the world and this is one of the five best I’ve experienced.
Cons: Nothing. I will be staying here again Gand recommending it to my friends and colleagues.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Swimming pool great. Good position next to the river. Room spacious and stylish.
Cons: View from our room overlooking other rooms.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Le Bel Air has a great location on the Mekong River. We chose it as it was a quiet location close to town. The staff, food, rooms etc all were the best.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast very good except the coffee and the cappuccino my friend has to pay! I
Cons: For the payment they didn’t ask the permission to debit the total invoice for the 2 rooms with our credit card. We have been already at the hotel. Our wish would have been to pay cash.....
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good location, excellent service, good food; nice resort
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: everything was great. especially staffs are so nice and kind.
Cons: - there were some stairs from robby to room, or restaurant. normally it is not a problem at all, but it could be a little bit tough for the elderly. - location : not very close to downtown. cars or tuktuks cannot go through the bridge infront of the hotel. if you can rent a bike or a motorbike, it would be ok. (otherwise, you can take a shuttle)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All facilities were superb... food and drinks . All employees were great from front desk to housekeeping via bar and restaurant. Their attention to detail was exemplary..

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful hotel on the banks of the Nam Khan river only a 10 minute walk into the center of town (over the bamboo bridge) or the same by hotel shuttle bus. Beautiful room with balcony overlooking the gardens & one of the swimming pools. Staff (& Stephan) were absolutely amazing & nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was extensive with both European & Laos choices. Dinner in the same location also had a good selection of local dishes overlooking the gardens & river beyond. Happy hour cocktails watching the sunset set across the river cannot be missed!
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike here!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Beautiful tropical vibe and decoration just like you see in the pictures. The whole setting is lush green. Very good location, near the bamboo bridge which is an attraction in itself (pay less than a dollar for a return ticket).
Cons: It doesn’t really feel like a boutique hotel: it is not a small hotel and you don’t get the kind of personal attentive treatment we felt in other places much less expensive in southeast asia.
Good 7.5
Pros: It was a nice property, the only problem was the noise in the room, due to the road and houses nearby
Cons: Really clean and vell kept
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very good breakfast. We liked the laid back location away from the busy part of Luang Prabang. Yes you had to pay a small amount to go across bamboo bridge but it was fun and the hotel was fantastic value compared with a far more expensive but charmless hotel we stayed at on our return to Luang Prabang at the end of our holiday.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The resort was superb, beautifully designed. Excellent room, breakfast was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful. The garden was lovely, and it has 2 swimming pools.
Cons: Nothing. It's a bit out of the town centre, i.e. 5 mins walk, but even that could be considered a plus, cause it makes it very peaceful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice place - close to the river promenade, but also has free shuttle bus service. Breakfast is amazing, good variety of food, fresh fruits Staff polite and helpful

Good 6.0
Pros: Desk staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke pretty good English. Rooms right on the riverfront are probably a bit compromised by traffic noise, but rooms off on the back alleys are very peaceful. Traditional construction of the units and the decor (wooden floors, old-fashoined furniture) has charm; and it's great to have a little private balcony to sit out on. Their open terrace 'Viewpoint Restaurant', just a short walk away on the other side of the road, has one of the best views in the whole town; but I had very mixed experiences of the food and service there. (It's perhaps best avoided for main meals while they're under-staffed during the Covid crisis.)
Cons: You don't really get much of a view of the Mekong, as there's a road and a line of trees (and telegraph poles, etc.) and a high riverbank between the river and the hotel. Their restaurant just across the road has a fabulous view, but so-so food. The cable TV package is terrible for English speakers, the worst I've encountered anywhere in SE Asia. Only having a couple of watchable channels is really very disappointing for a hotel at this price point. I struggled a lot with mould/dust allergies while I was there, and I suspect that cleaning/replacement of the bed cover had not been done regularly while business was slow in recent months. The elaborate mechanism for tilting the upper portion of the bed I found irritatingly pointless (and it wasn't even working in my room anyway); and it seems to mean that they can't fit a headboard to the bed - which results in your pillows falling down the back of it on to the floor all the time. The location isn't great: although it's nice to be in the 'old town', and right on the Mekong, this is at the far eastern tip of the peninsula - so, about a 30-minute walk away from the famous Night Market, and also from most of the bars and restaurants you might want to visit, on either side of Mount Phousi. As I've mentioned, the quality of the restaurant was rather disappointing; and there seem to be no other facilities - gym, spa, bar - that you might expect from a hotel at this price-point. And the facilities in the room are actually fairly basic (not that much space, no easy chairs...). I'd enjoyed a much more enjoyable stay in a simple family-run guesthouse (bigger balcony, bigger fridge, much better TV) for the two weeks prior for about one-fifth of what they charge here. The Mekong Riverview is comfortable, but far from luxurious - and hence doesn't seem to be very competitively priced.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice room, nice environment of the hotel, and staff was helpful and flexible to work.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: staff was so very friendly. They helped us have a tour with a tuk-tuk driver, and the next day in an air conditioned van to the waterfalls. They made dinner reservations for us. Rooms are large. We had a river view room, and it was very enjoyable to sit on our patio.
Cons: nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really comfortable bed and good en-suite. Nice breakfasts. Very helpful front of house. Good location to explore.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location, staff is very friendly and helpful, nice restaurant with calm atmosphere, walking distance to main places, great swimming pool and spa, only located nearby but worth the walk. Would definitely recommend it again
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Old world charm. Location is ideal at the end of town overlooking the Mekong River and within walking distance of all the town's sights and restaurants. Front desk staff = fantastic all round. Definitely recommend this property. Same day laundry service too.
Cons: AC was a bit old fashioned, but worked well enough. A bit of street noise during the day. Wonky flight of stairs up to the second floor. Nothing else to add.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I like everything (except the spider I saw before check out :D). Location is great! Walking distance to almost everything. Breakfast is phenomenal. The room was clean. No bugs, I saw only 1 spider before checkout so it did not bother me much.
Cons: It was a little hard to find at first because you need to walk in an small path which leads to another hotel but they are almost like connected so when you walk to the corner of the other hotel you can see Villa Oasis and this path is not long 150m or less I think (this is the entrance from Kingkitsarath road).
Excellent 9.0
Pros: A cute and cosy hotel with wonderfully friendly staff. Small touches like recieving a welcome pineapple shake and some fruit upon arrival, made the visit special. You can take out a bike for free and cycle round the town.
Cons: Nothing for Vegans for breakfast apart from fruit as even the bread has milk in it. Advertise elephant riding tours....please research the cruelty behind riding an elephant before you think of booking.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The garden with the water lily pond was so beautiful
Cons: The placement of the air conditioning was right over the bed and blew cold air on our heads.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: - the location. Right next to the night market, shops and restaurants. - The pool was very nice - The bed was comfortable - The breakfast was really nice.
Cons: - There was a LOT of insects mostly mosquitoes. No mosquito net. - The people living upstairs were quite noisy - The toilet seat wasn’t sturdy
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the pool and the river. The shower had great pressure.
Cons: The bed was very hard.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location and wonderful terrace which was both relaxing and with nice view
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location. Interesting place. Bikes for free. A quite place away from the city. Had a pretty good swimming pool. Not the best but good. Good breakfast.
Cons: It was not possible to really lock the room as one balcony door was a bit broken.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The free drinks the staff brought us every day.
Cons: The toilet seat was slightly loose.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff is super friendly, always ready to help with a big smile on their faces. Location is convenient to central L.P.
Cons: The villas are very rustic and the access through a back alley is not the most beautiful in the area

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful staff, very helpful with organization of excursions and transportation. Hotel is located a nice walk from city center, but by the river in a quiet residential area. Fresh coffee and cold bear served any time of the day. We had a great time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place, just outside of the busyness, the people, simply the sweetest you could find, and the great rooms and breakfast. An all-round blessing to have stayed there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super nice staff. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautiful, modern while keeping an authentic vibe. I used their bicycle to get around town and it was great.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Amazing staff who are eager to get you aquatinted with the beautiful city. Bikes included were a great plus!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: We spent four days in one of the rooms with river view and can definitely recommend this place!! Very spacious and comfortable rooms, nice balcony and amazing view over the river. Only a short walk away from town (10-15 minutes). Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits on a beautiful terrace on the river. Keo and his guys are very friendly and helpful hosts. They give guests the feeling to be welcome every time, they give advice for activities, help to organise and they are there for anything you need. We can highly recommend their private tour to the waterfall and the buffalo farm.
Cons: A bit noisy because the building right next to the house is currently under construction. And the rooms are badly soundproofed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staffs were proficient in English and very friendly. Very knowledgeable and very helpful when we asked for dinner suggestions and places to go. Room is beautiful. Though you gotta wait a little for the hot water.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Loved the location and the beautiful styling: of the rooms, of the breakfast area overlooking the Naam Khan river, and the light jazz music to accompany our mornings. The service of the staff was excellent, especially Keo and Bunac, who helped us graciously on several occasions. They refilled 2 big glass bottles of water in our fridge daily, and upgraded one of our rooms to King sized with balcony, and a bath, which, on one particularly cold evening, I was so grateful to soak in when we got home!
Cons: There was little/no shelving space in the bathroom to put things, and the sink was a bit shallow (so overflowed when face-washing). There were a few small style preferences of this nature but we still enjoyed our stay here. We often took a tuk tuk to or from the main streets, but this was a small price to pay for such a beautiful setting.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was very clean and there was a small terrace where we could enjoy some drinks in the evening. The staff was amazing, always very helpful. They provide free bikes. The welcome drink was a nice touch. We loved to have breakfast on the terrace with the splendid riverview. We will definitely come again.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: They are all amazing and friendly, always ready to help us for everything. The Room with river view was big and the bed was really comfortable, just 10 min walk to the centre.Peacefull place to rest
Cons: Good breakfast but they should put more choice of local fruits.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect. The room was nice and clean and there was a small terrace where I could drink coffee watching the street. I could order breakfast from the menu and it was served with some fruits and tea. But the one I was satisfied most was the staff. They were exceptionally kind and helpful and I could feel I was treated with great care. I’m a hundred percent sure to stay here again in my next travel.
Cons: It’s quite far from the main street but they provide bicycles.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: The husband and wife that run this hotel are absolutely lovely and so helpful. Definitely recommend staying. Lovely pool and dining area.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good pool and really good buffet breakfast (though all was precooked) there was a good choice which varied every day, muesli, toast and plenty of lovely fresh fruit, served outside next to the lily pond.
Cons: We found that it was maybe just a tiny bit far to walk home from most of the attractions in the centre of town, but we managed ok everyday.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: A nice room with bath tub. Very nice friendly staff. Arranged tuk tuk at short notice. Swimming pool, though not large, was very nice.
Cons: Soap dispenser allowed to run short. Breakfast was disappointing: hot dishes placed in containers about 7.30 am and then left to cool and congeal. Coffee not very hot either. Coffee creamer in room allowed to run out.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff, a lovely swimming pool and very clean rooms
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Pool, staff, room, location
Cons: Breakfast was ok but unimaginative and unvaried

Good 6.7

Cons: Basic breakfast Can improve with one or two Laos local dish
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice clean rooms.very good location. Alms giving ceremony just front of villa. Laundry and motorbike service and little shop just cross road.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Cosy and quiet, set in a super nice and enjoyable garden. Rooms at the back are as quiet as it gets, super large and well equipped, with a very nice balcony overlooking the garden. Staff very nice and helpful, and easily helping out with anything you can ask for. Breakfast was a feast every morning :-) Also conveniently set in 1 of the streets that has the monk processions in the morning, nearby restaurants and bars, with laundry facility and convenience store directly opposite.

Excellent 9.2
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The breakfast is really good, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff is really helpful. The free bikes is a really good thing. The location is not in the main street, but the view is beautiful.
Cons: The only thing a did not like was an animal that was making noise at night. It's like a frog, I don't know, and I though it was really close to my room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property was very convenient and walking distance to main streets. Also an excellent view of the river, especially at breakfast!! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Deuan who helped print my boarding passes. Khob jai lai lai!
Cons: Mosquitoes
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Quiet location , river front, just 10 mins stroll to night market
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Quiet location away from the main street with riverside view. Night market is still within walking distance. Service staff was very helpful and attentive. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location and view of the river are good - that's pretty much it.
Cons: Overall Hotel, incl reception looks tired, and dirty - I was told it opened 5 years ago, it feels more like 20 years, with limited maintenance done in between. Bathrooms very tired ( we booked 2 rooms with river view and both were below par: toilet roll holders rusted and falling off on the ground, paint dirty, minimal bathroom amenities, incl lighting etc..). More disappointing though was hotel hustling to force us to pay cash when checking in ( which I refused). They then relented and agreed for us to pay by CC, but wanting to impose an additional 3% charge (which I refused as not stated in booking). Hotel was so disappointing we decided to move to another one after 2 nights (out of 4 nights booked), and I told them we would be checking out early. They point blank refused to consider charging us only for the nights used, and insisted on charging the full booking amount. That's their prerogative based on bookings T&C, but first time I meet a hotel where there was a total refusal to discuss or accommodate such request, even partially - staff became quite aggressive when engaged in that regard. Receptionist continuously chatted to the "manager" via telephone and passed messages back to us, we never saw any one in charge, besides the gentleman at reception. Considering how they tried to impose their non disclosed terms on us, unwillingness to engage me when I asked for a change was pretty disappointing. Final straw was receptionist writing amount due to pay on a piece of paper barely larger than a postal stamp, and getting upset when I asked them for an invoice. I refused to pay anything without a bill, receipt or invoice issued, which seemed to be a major issue for them. After a solid 10 min of arguing, a hand written note was finally issued - no carbon copy, no record on anything on their end - their excuse being they are a small hotel. There are plenty, much better hotels with river view in Luang Prabang - do yourself a favor and avoid that...
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the room is large enough and facilities are good
Cons: the breakfast is too simple
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We enjoyed the friendly staff, delicious breakfast and viewd of Mekong River, polished teak, and easy access to monasteries, bamboo bridges, shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing.
Cons: Our back window and balcony faced into window if apartment behind us.

Good 7.9
Pros: Great little hotel in a good location Wooden, heritage style Very helpful and polite staff Excellent breakfast in a lovely green courtyard
Cons: A little on the expensive side
Excellent 9.0
Pros: They let me choose my room from the free ones on the day I got there and it was large. Staff were super helpful and arranged all of my tours to Kuang Si waterfall and Pak Ou caves. Great location which is walking distance to most attractions in town. Included breakfast was fantastic.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent breakfast Nice garden were the breakfast is served
Cons: Avoid rooms facing the street, can be noicy from the backpackers restaurant opisite the hotel, but they close 11 pm.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: very good. Room is spacious, a lot of choices for breakfast. We are looking for staying in lotus again.
Cons: nothing
Good 7.5
Pros: Good spot nice and central
Cons: They never made the extra bed in the room
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel is in a very central location of Luang Prabang yet it is in a quieter side of it, as the hotel is located parallel to and in between the main street and the river road. It is 3 mins walk to the nearest restaurants, cafes, temples, and monasteries. We really enjoyed the free flow of breakfast. It is basic breakfast of omelettes, croissants, and really good coffee and local special daily (between rice porridge - the best! and mango sticky rice). The hotel room has basic toilet and room amenities that are kept clean regularly. The staff is polite, gentle, and helpful, although because of the courtyard design of the property can be heard speaking loudly from the courtyard. They regularly ask about comfort and needs regarding food and our overall stay.
Cons: While it is generally a quiet hotel tucked in a quiet street, the courtyard layout of the hotel plus the room with a door in between does not lend itself to complete good night's rest. We were up on some nights and awakened early morning with next door guests speaking loudly in the rooms and courtyard. The assistant manager readily offered us another available room on the second level after we spoke with him. We very much appreciated it! This hotel can do a little bit more work in terms of details of hospitality and service of a boutique hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lotus Villa is so charming! The hotel - nestled along a quiet street right in town - has a beautiful courtyard, super yummy breakfast, excellent service and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Honestly, there was not a single thing I didn’t like.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: All good but just the smell of the new paint wall wood was not comfortable
Good 7.9
Pros: The hotel is only 10 bedroom size and it is now under construction/renovation to add additional 14 rooms. It has got the small space for car park with maximum 2 cars. Just across the hotel, there is a small restaurant that fully booked all the time.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room is exceptionally clean and spacious. Was able to get restful sleep as the beds were very comfortable. Roomy bathroom with great shower. Breakfast was always plentiful and well presented. We even had a packed breakfast when we had to leave at an unearthly hour during one of our trips. The staff were courteous, diligent and kept the place spotless. Hien, the lady who managed the hotel was exceedingly efficient and helpful. She arranged tours for us in Luang Prabang and helped us get to Plains of Jars, Vang Vieng and Vientiane on private transport. We would not have seen as much without her assistance. If we have an opportunity to return to Luang Prabang, we will definitely stay there again.
Cons: Nothing.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is a terrific hotel! Breakfast was lovely, served outside on the veranda, and the wait staff was both kind and accommodating. Both the food and the surroundings were well planned and executed. The pool was beautiful (a little chilly) and resting in the chairs beside the pool was so needed after a hectic 3 week tour. The room was big and beautiful with a great view of the lush grounds, with a super-comfy bed and heavenly pillows. The hotel staff was both friendly and helpful, always willing to do what was necessary to make our stay outstanding. The manager even ironed my dress! Thank you, Hahn.
Cons: At first we weren't sure that we were going to like crossing the river every day, but we found that it was pretty fun and the boat that the hotel has was always there in a flash, so we didn't have to wait at all. Or, crossing the footbridge was an adventure and quite exciting. And it made for a very quiet stay. So, it all worked out very well.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We liked everything about this property. Enjoyed the quiet location alongside the river.
Excellent 9.2
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Apsara Rive Droite is the very definition of a boutique hotel - it is not just a hotel room, it is an exceptional experience. There are only 9 rooms in the hotel and the staff takes exceptional care of their guests. Mr. Han and his staff will ensure that from the moment you arrive, your experience in Luang Prabang will fantastic: from travel recommendations to inside tips to make the most of your time. While access to the town requires a 2 min boat ride across the Namkhan, there was never a wait and it added to the experience, plus it means a quieter experience than staying in town (noise pollution (e.g. loud music) is not well enforced). Breakfast is first rate - they source coffee (Saffron!) and fresh baked goods (plus outstanding homemade jam) from the very best in town. The limited size makes you feel like you have the hotel to yourself.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
