Pros. The location is close to restraunts and shopping. It is quite a walk from the train station. Take a cab.
Cons. The electricity and plumbing are old and don't work well. It was extremely hot and too loud to sleep with the window open. They said we couldn't turn on the air conditioning and didn't offer a fan. We were up all night hearing the people above us. The complimentary breakfast gave us food poisoning.
Pros. Mario the business owner was beyond friendly, efficient and informative. Breakfasts were feasts of hot and cold food well beyond the usual continental breakfast. An elevator was also a welcome surprise in this old palazzo.
