To add insult to injury, the plane was delayed and I missed my connection and had to sit in Istanbul airport for almost 8 hours."

This was the second time I have flown with Turkish Airlines and my experience was the same if not better this time around."

There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely"

Cons: "Club World is a super dated product. The tech is old and you are uncomfortably close to your neighbors. Also even when you buy a business class ticket British Airways makes you pay to reserve a seat in advance if you don’t have status with them. That feels over the top for a premium customer."

Cons: "Had the boarding queues setup and when they got to group 5 they flipped the sign and those of us in front had to go in the back. Once we were in the main queue they opened the 5-9 queue for some privileged traveler and then left it open allowing the back of the queue to become the front."

Due to late take-off we were too late to land in ZRH as runway had already closed. Diverted to Stuttgart, where no BA staff was on the ground to deal with and all services had already closed (~00:30). Basically ~50 customers were dumped at a place they didn’t want to be and no info on his BA wanted to deal with it was given. After 1 week still no info on compensation. And this wants to be a major carrier?"

They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

If can get this close to losing people I now understand how luggage gets lost so often."
