10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful hosts and a wonderful breakfast. Everything was clean and with a nice homey touch. We liked the location as well - close to the center but on a very quiet street.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I appreciate to have received breakfast to take away at 4:30 in the morning
Cons: As i was travelling for work breakfast at 7:30 is late to arrive on time, but you have fresh fruit and bread so overall OK for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A stay in a hotel or guest room is sometimes full of surprise, good ones. A cozy room, convenient transportation, easy access to restaurants/bars, passionate hosts, and great breakfast (if included). How about all of these happening in one stay? Villa Atmosphere resides in a quiet neighborhood in walking distance to the restaurant area and the La Bastille. The room is spacious, well quipped and maintained. But, Dominique, the hostess, makes the Villa way beyond that. We had sweet memory with the Villa (Dominique will explain where the name “Atmosphere” comes from): the breakfast prepared with passion, the wonderful stories about artdeco (Dominique's husband Denies’ specialty), the laughs in the dining room, and the caring of both of them. Months ago by a simple twist of fate, my wife booked one of the two rooms of the Villa. Now we look at the photos taken in the Villa and with the host couple, we feel we were so lucky. Dominique and Denies are the most special hosts in our totally twelve times of visit to France, and this is definitely our most memorable stay in France ever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful clean place , delightful gourmet breakfast , extremely attentive and helpful owners- giving us great tips on everything from restaurant to eat to what to visit on our trip.
Cons: N/a- all great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very large and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very clean and had extra touches. Breakfast was delicious and Dominique was a kind and helpful hostess.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Dominique makes an excellent and informative host. She also provides a fantastic breakfast. Location is a comfortable 10-minute walk from the old quarter.
Cons: Parking is a potential problem. We did 3 or 4 circuits of the streets in the area looking for a parking space and then turned lucky when a car vacated a parking place just across the road from the accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dominique's kindness. The breakfasts were exceptional, the table was laden with choices- breads, cheeses home baking to name but a few. Our bedroom and ensuite was large, very clean and spacious. Fresh coffee top ups, not a problem. A lovely lady who enjoyed meeting and caring for her guests. Originally booked for 3 nights but extended the stay after the " good feel " about the guest house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome, nothing was too much of an issue. The room was spacious and very clean and had large windows, large shower room. The breakfast which was served in the morning was homemade, including yogurt, croissants, and a selection of fruit tarts. There was also fresh bread, it was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quiet location. The room is comfortable with big bathroom and great air-condition. Best breakfast! Above all is the great host Dominique which by her attitude and warm personallity makes the difference between "very good" to excellent experience. We highly reccomend this place!
Cons: Yes, the stairs are not so comfortable. BUT this is relatively a very small issue.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: great host - very helpful awesome breakfast! Tartes, 3 types of bread, fruits, all kinds of cheese....just marvellous

Cons: Breakfast might be slightly bit pricey
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Rooms are carpeted. Location was perfect for major sights of Grenoble and for access to the station.
Cons: Fancy "design" wash basin splashed water everywhere. Seemed to be short of room cleaning staff as my room was not ready at check-in time and the room was cleaned very late the following day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable property with comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price! Charming staff who were very helpful and polite!
9.6 Excellent

Cons: The wash room is really not well designed. Beautiful but not practical at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff. Great LE CLUB with complementary soft drinks and welcome drink and snacks. Great fitness room. Modern rooms. Excellent value for money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Club room, 24 hour drinks, snacks, breakfast
Cons: Gym is really bad. Just 3 cardio machines, that’s all.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Lounge Food all day long Clean-ness
Cons: - need larger desk - need a table and to put stuffs - need to fix shower water leakage

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and interesting room design, club area was really nice, staff were helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The club lounge open 24hr is nice and so is the terrace. Although there is no on-site restaurant there are plenty within walking distance. The club lounge has plenty of snacks and beverages. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff are accommodating and are willing to help with any inquiries.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After 38 hours of travel from New Zealand we could not have gotten a better place to relax and recover - outstanding and exceeded expectations!
Cons: I did find bed firmer than used to but would still stay again
7.5 Good
Pros: Great hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, buffet breakfast and appetisers at 6:30pm were included so very accommodating
Cons: The bathrooms were an interesting design, they had glass and shutters I felt like people in the room could see in, not my preference
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has comfortable bed with especially nice pillows, which is important to me. Many amenities are included that aren't usually. The rooms are pretty spacious compared to most you will find in Grenoble.
Cons: The design is a little bit 'cold' and not necessarily my cup of tea, but sort of interesting at the same time. The elevators aren't very 'smart' in their programming. Sometimes they switch direction when you expect them to keep going the same way.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and staff were very good.
Cons: The city is not clean and not attractive..
Hôtel Arena Grenoble - Grenoble - Building
4
8.8 Excellent (899 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel Arena Grenoble in Saint-Egreve, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Chartreuse National Park and Museum of Grenoble. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and an elevator (lift).
5.4 Okay
Pros: Clean room and parking for free.
Cons: Hotel location is very bad next to factory and highway, smell in all hotel, very bad breakfast. For three star hotel I would expect much more. This hotel should be one maximum two stars hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was a good price for a quiet night. Even though the hotel is right next to the highway, it was very well insulated for sound. It is fairly close (by car) to several restaurants and supermarkets, and there is a restaurant right next to it.
Cons: The room was very hot even during cold weather and after turning off the heating. It was uncomfortable to sleep and you cannot open the window because the highway is too close and the noise is too high to keep the window open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extra comfy bedroom boxing way above its payroll...
Cons: Maybe there could be a bit more choice at breakfast. But it's only me...
5.4 Okay
Cons: No ‘real’ air conditioning. It was close to 40C the day of my stay and the room was not much cooler. Also, look hard at the rate. Paid for half board without knowing. Location is nowhere near downtown restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall great value for the price
Cons: There was no kettle in the room and none in reception to share. For the families with small kids it's essential. Breakfast was below average. If you like eggs and bacon then you'll be disappointed
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The only problem was the room was abit hot . The air conditioning was not very good
5.0 Okay
Pros: Easy check in Good room
Cons: They wake You up at 8.30 To clean The room The district is industrial area with only 1 restaurant The room was full of mosquitoes flies and spiders
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean!
Cons: Basic rooms, without any addicional amenities. Uncomfortably opened rooms, with six-digit codes. Lack of personnel since 10 pm. Poor breakfast. Factory outside the window - big noise all the night.
7.1 Good
Pros: We were here for one night while traveling. Everything was great: clean, it looked like everything was new, nice bed, nice view on the mountains and a buffalo grill next door so searching for dinner was easy. Also really nice breakfast!
Cons: The toilet did not flush properly. Not even for a number one. I understood this is a problem in all the rooms and they are trying to fix it. But reading reviews myself this is a problem that is going on for a while now. Nearby reception is one toilet that does flush properly for number two, wouldn’t even try that in my room. Great to kill the romance. Airconditioner could be better but was okay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with air con nice staff

7.5 Good
Pros: Recommendations for restaurant for having dinner was excellent
Cons: surroundings from constructions for more than two hours, hairs on my bed from foreign people, water flow in the bathtub didn't work well. Paid EUR 179/room/night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: During my stay in Europe I travelled to two other cities and of all the hotels in the 4 star category. Park Hotel stood out the highest from the rest. From the staff to the breakfast it was superb. When in Grenoble again I plan on staying here.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and stylish hotel with great facilities. Lovely base for our long weekend and very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Smart, classy, clean, very polite and helpful personnel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, nice helpful staff, excellent room and facilities. Good breakfast on Friday with very attentive waitress.
Cons: Poor breakfast on the Saturday- not even end of sitting and most things had gone and not replenished. Most disappointing. Plus point was that on complaining the charged for this was deleted from the bill. I'm sure that this was a one off glitch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All very comfortable, clean and high quality.
Cons: The fact there was neither a window nor an air extract for the WC.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious. Extremely comfortable bed, super soft sheets, wonderful breakfast, very accommodating staff. It’s a lovely hotel.
Cons: Did not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. It lacked a descent exercise room.
7.9 Good
Pros: Decor of Bathroom and lobby
Cons: Toilet and room were too small
6.3 Good
Cons: Very disappointing with the hotel, the last day I forgot a gift package in the minibar fridge and according to hotel management it has “vanished”. No help to find it whatsoever, only excuses... Not an acceptable behaviour for such expensive and high end hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large room, very comfortable and clean. I would have preferred other type of pillows, but take it as a personal preference. Wonderful location, just cross the park, with very convenient commute to any corner of the city. 15 min walk away from Old City, quite area of the city, very good isolation of the rooms. Quality bath products (Clarins).
Cons: I would have liked a beer in the room refrigerator - not the case, just water and some juices. And some more options for the pillows (softer ones are missing)

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Large room. Nice view over the window. Comfortable double bed. Large bathtub Outdoor free private parking.
Cons: Poor shower flow. I didn't use the kitchenette because my stay was too short but there non living and only a desk below the flat screen.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice views, free big car park
Cons: All ok
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Room wasn't cleaned often enough while i was there
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I totally appreciated the very warm and professional welcome by ‘ Amine ‘. This is someone that totally understands hospitality, he is an outstanding member of the team and the company Choice Hotels should be very proud of him. Our room was super clean as was the bathroom. It is really clear that the direction of this hotel take great pride in presenting a top class product. The room does not have air conditioning. This is because the hotel is classed as a low energy consumption hotel. Very environmental !! The breakfast was excellent, providing warm and cold choices and served à volonté
Cons: The lack of air conditioning. Apparently the window blinds lower automatically to keep the sun out , but we found that this did not keep the room cool and to have any confort we needed to sleep with the window open, thus we were accompanied by the people talking down on the bar terrace, the trams, speeding cars etc etc. Apparently we could have requested a ventilation fan, but we were only made aware of this on leaving the hotel. I think we can all appreciate the environmental needs, but can also understand the need of our customers to be comfortable. Our room was really hot, to the point of being at some point uncomfortable. I feel that a solution is required especially as we go in got summer.
7.1 Good
Cons: Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night
7.5 Good
Pros: The room Size is big. Staffs are friendly. The cleanliness of the facility is good. Public transportation is easily accessible. The university is at a walking distance.
Cons: There is no air conditioner, the room was warm and not very comfortable. The noise from the street was a bit disturbing. There are not many good restaurants around. There is no gym in the facility. The breakfast was very simple, EUR 11 is a bit high for the breakfast.
4.6 Okay
Pros: I like it with the kitchen and all basic equipments.
Cons: no air conditioning room in 30 degree temperature. no toothbrush provided. less restaurants around the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for a stay with dogs. Uncomplicated. Very clean.
Cons: No air conditioning. Our room was rather warm. Window canmot be opened bc of the noisy street.
5.8 Okay
Pros: location right outside the city center, tram in front of the hotel. Good location.
Cons: Et booked a superior suite which wasn’t read when we arrived “because they had a big weekend and not enough time to clean”. We had to chase them to get a new room after one night. Quite disappointed in their management.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is great if you go to the university (20min in foot) same distance to the city center and there’s a tram right in front of the hotel. Two room sizes available, the smaller ones are perfect (mountain view) if you need calm, the bigger ones are on the street side (very loud) and since it’s a passive hotel and no air conditioning it’s difficult to close the windows.
Cons: It’s a shame all bigger room (family suites) are on the street side - too noisy but still a good hotel overall.
Résidence Le Patricia - Grenoble - Building
7
8.5 Excellent (577 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Résidence Le Patricia places you in the heart of Grenoble, within a 10-minute walk of Museum of Grenoble and Dauphinois Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and an elevator (lift). Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location close to city center
Cons: No AC.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Large clean comfortable room good facilities
Cons: Very close to two adult shops
7.9 Good
Pros: Superb location with secure underground parking; our two bedroomed unit was quirkily decorated and well resourced; the staff were very welcoming and informative about local restaurants and other facilities.
Cons: The rooms are not air conditioned and although fans were provided in each room, during the exceptionally hot weather we experienced the rooms were uncomfortably warm. Access to the tiny car park is tricky and probably only suitable for small family cars.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to old part of the city & teleriphique. Good space for four people.
Cons: The Marilyn Monroe statue in the room was creepy!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and the apartment was really amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hospitality from Didier and his lovely wife Ana. Great location in the very center of Grenoble, 2 minute walk from cable way to the Fortress at the hill. Clean room with all the necessary amenities. Cherry on the top - Tuesday welcoming party at the reception. Great wines and fantastic appetizers handmade by Didier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean appartment, great location and welcoming hosts. Would deffinitively come back. :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived, it was one of the largest rain storms I've ever seen and the host was so so so helpful with our luggage and even parking our large van in the tight parking garage. He gave up his own parking spot for us as the lot was full. Amazing customer service!
Cons: Nothing. It was exactly what we were expecting. Cheap and cheerful. So close to the stadium and city center area.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked very much the professionalism of Alla, the front desk person during my stay. She was very helpful with finding information. A remarkably nice person.
Cons: I manage rooms exposed to noise very well with my ear plugs, but for those who can't, ask for a room on an upper floor if it faces the street. The Internet connection was too slow for backing up my iPad, even though I let it run all night.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Great staff.
Cons: We had the worst room in the building. It was large, but right beside the lobby, overlooking a parking lot/entrance and smoke would come in the window if you left it open.
Citadines City Centre Grenoble - Grenoble - Building
8
8.4 Excellent (1,517 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Citadines City Centre Grenoble, you'll be centrally located in Grenoble, just a 4-minute walk from Paul Mistral Park and 6 minutes by foot from Museum of Resistance and Deportation. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: This is our second experience at Citadines. (previous was in winter). The room is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well furnished. The windows provide good noise insulation. Unfortunately, it can be very hot in summer. Considering the average level of the accommodations in Grenoble, it is probably the best choice except during hot days in summer.
Cons: Too hot in august. The room is provided with a dishwasher, a hot-air blower for winter, but nothing reasonable to cool down the room in summer. We found an old ventilator, a desk one, in the closet, which is incredibly noisy. This makes it impossible to use it overnight. One can resist few minutes, then it becomes unbearable. Also, since it is very small (see photo), it has to be placed on the bedside table, close to the head and it can’t cover the full bed. Providing tools like that is a lack of respect for the guests. I think that a ventilator is not a proper service in a 3 star hotel for a city which in the last years is constantly reaching 38 °C in summer. For 15 euros one can buy much better ventilators making guests’ life less painful. (this is ¼ of the cost of one single night.. ). The hotel cannot claim to provide ventilators, because they can’t be used. And I am not the first guest complaining about that. Eventually, the only chance overnight is to open the window. And every night we had to wake up because of mosquitos.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very good and well stuffed with all you need for cooking. As well the hotel has a free coffee machine in the lobby. Would like to thank all the stuff that were very friendly and helpful!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was clean, spacious, well lighten and with tons of storage space. Kitchen was well equipped. bathroom was huge. bed was comfortable. Cute little balcony too (5th floor). Location was excellent for exploring city. Staff was caring and friendly. I loved the 24/7 free coffee (from automatic machine but good!) in the lobby
Cons: Breakfast was not very good and not worth the extra 10 EUR. It had mediocre cheese (factory-made slices in small plastic wraps), two cold cuts (cheap and tasteless), ok sausage and scrambled eggs that I think were made from a liquid in a bag, or microwaved. First time I see tasteless food in France
4.2 Okay
Pros: Cheap,- and a small terrasse
Cons: Student appartment and poor breakfast
7.9 Good
Pros: The kitchen is fully equipped, clean and great location
Cons: No air-condition but there’s a fan for summer
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We arrived midnight but someone met us to give the key.
Cons: Hot no AC
7.1 Good
Pros: locality
Cons: missing HVAC in room

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I would recommend having a fridge in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff great
Cons: Room smelt of smoke- who knew in 2019 you had to opt out for non smoking room?!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Cheap breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Budgies outside the breakfast room!
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good breakfast
Cons: No cold tap water in badroom, not very well isolated
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This property had a great location in the city centre and the room was quite nice. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our shower was very small, as in so small that you could barely move in it. This may have been due to the fact that we were in a corner room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all extremely kind and friendly, without exception! Good breakfast buffet in a pleasant room. This is the oldest hotel in Grenoble and its position is excellent, right on the main square, and we had views of the square from our room. We'd definitely come back!
Cons: The bathroom could have done with more hooks and a surface or shelf to put things on. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night, which although it wasn't in the hotel itself and wasn't the hotel's fault directly (someone had set fire to a rubbish bin in the backstreet) did ruin our second night and scared our children, however the lovely staff dealt with it very well
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious room in Vieux Grenoble. Helpful staff, great service. Hotel is close to everything.
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and extremely good value for money. Quiet, clean and tidy.
6.3 Good
Cons: Smoky smell and aged rooms

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was very helpful Very clean dorms with a nice shower
6.7 Good
Pros: Here it said that it was a hostel but when I got there I realized it was a hotel, a little bit old but the way but it was fine, it was just for a night so I didn't really care. Despite this little inconvenient it was OK.
7.5 Good
Pros: Helpful & friendly employees
Cons: Please make it more clear that it really is a hostel! (In my case: shared two-bed room).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, cofortable and clean. Very pleasant staff.
Cons: a little bit expensive for dorm room
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice hotel well located
Cons: The bed was bad so I didn't sleep well
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was really nice. When I arrived early, the lady at the reception desk not only took my suitcase, but gave me a map and gave me hints on all of the best things to do in Grenoble until I could check in later. I followed her advice and had an amazing time.
Cons: My room had a strange set-up. It was basically a normal 2-bed hotel room with a divider between the 2 beds. I also wasn't able to make the shower work, even after 15 minutes of playing around with it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Personal is jently, my recommendation.
Cons: Everything was OK.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is convenient, staff is super helpful and friendly! Room for 2 with own bathroom, which is really good for hostel. The room and bed were clean. There are 2 options for breakfast: 5€ and 9€ with different menu.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice place to stay, it seems more like a hotel than a hostel except for the fact that you are sharing the room with other people. But comfortable beds and nice that there are only 4 people in a dorm room!
Cons: A bit confusing to find - the address takes you to the Hotel Trianon and there is no mention of the hostel but it is actually in the same building as the hotel and uses the same reception!

Pros: Warm apparent.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning. We have a problem with the towels and there wasn't anybody to get in touch.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean. Close to public transport.
Cons: No reception and difficult to use self service. No cloth or dishwash liquid to keep kitchen clean. Had to purchase. No second key offered when booking 2 bed apartment. Had to wait 2 days to get it.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location was secure and close enough to the tram. Very cheap.
Cons: No air conditioner. Bad stench coming out of toilet sink drain. Dirty sheets. Construction next door was noisy in the morning. No one on duty to assist in case of problems, ie, questions re thermostat etc. Payment was through a self-service 'vendo machine' which did not accept cash (good thing i had a working credit card with me otherwise i would not have been able to check in).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very modern hotel, everything is automatic. Lots of space and small breakfast place with tea and coffee.
Cons: No physical person to ask for advise. Some minor difficulties of entering the hotel and phone number did not work!
7.5 Good
Pros: Property was spacious with toilet seperate to bathroom which was essential with 3 adults in a 3 bedroom apartment.
Cons: The instructions to enter the property were sent in seperate emails and the self service kiosk was not user friendly. There was no dishcloth, dishwashing liquid or plug to keep the benches etc clean. These should be supplied. No instructions on how to use washing machines or dryer. This would be helpful. Had to ask for a second key.
7.5 Good
Pros: Fully automated apartment with self service. Rooms are neat and value for money.
Cons: We couldn't operate room heating and tried to reach reception directly and over phone also, but failed to reach them. The entrance gate is also not opening properly. It gets struck some times. We struggled to enter initially.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment is quiet. The decor is modern which I like. We used the deck everyday.
Cons: The weather was hot while I was there. A fan would have helped moved the air. My husband and I needed to buy many kitchen items: scub brush, kitchen towel, kitchen soap.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet area (except when France won their World Cup semi final ha ha). A short walk to the tram stop to get you into town and very reasonable at 1euro 60 c. We had a view of the mountains from our apartment which was lovely. Apartment very spacious and clean and very good value for money. Three supermarkets within a short walk which is always a bonus.
Cons: Key code had changed prior to arrival and no sms received. Couldn't get anyone on phone so had to go through Booking.com. Took a long time to sort but got there in the end! Two other couples had the same issue. Apartment we had was very hot and you cannot have doors open at night due to mosquito's, so bear in mind if staying when it's hot. Mattress too soft for me and i hated the pillow, but that's just personal preference. No kettle.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is new and the rooms are quite large. Functional kitchen and balcony means you can easily stay for multiple days.
Cons: The hotel does not have a manned reception and when we arrived, there was no way to access the room key vending machine. The phone number on the booking email rang out multiple times. Eventually a cleaner let us in and we figured out how to get a key. The room facilities were great, but the air-conditioning was not effective and it was uncomfortable warm at night. Additionally, various neighbours were very noisy until quite late on both nights we stayed. The breakfast bar consists of a coffee pod machine (although to be fair, breakfast is not an offering they give). The underground car parking spaces are tiny.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness, bathroom, modern apartment.
Cons: Couldn’t access property! No one to let us in, impossible to use the access keypad with the codes we were given, nobody answered the emergency number. Thank goodness another resident came along to let us in! Couldn’t turn heating down in the apartment at all - it never went below 25 degrees. Washing machine was in the basement of the block but I couldn’t open the door - yet another keypad on which none of the passwords worked! Nobody around to ask and my emails weren’t answered. Cleaning products are not supplied even though the information says so. Pillows are like rocks and beware of falling off the back of the sofa!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the centre - you can drop off outside the hotel and the parking in the nearby public (covered) parking was a 3-min walk. There is a height limit (1.9m I believe) but our VW Golf with roof box fitted in no problems. Seemed relatively safe. Views were excellent - our room faced the mountain with the bastille on it. The view across the rooftops is very Mary Poppins-esque Room comfort and facilities were brilliant for a travelling family - huge space with a big bathroom, separate toilet and a big storage room that I used for my bike. Beds were great, no road noise, and we slept really well. The kids loved the massive jacuzzi bath that brought some real laughs when they put a bit too much bubblebath in! Staff couldn't be more helpful with information before and during the stay. It's close to restaurants and bars and McDonalds is round the corner if you're that way inclined. It's also close to the cable car that takes you up to the bastille; ask at reception and they'll give you a card that gets you a discount on the entry fee for the cable car. For less than £95 for a room and parking in August we thought this was great value.
Cons: Family rooms are on the top floor so aren't serviced by a lift, which may not suit some people.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: The decor is a little dated but I guess that’s go br expected in an older property. Difficult to lift suitcases up the stairs at the entrance
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location. Low price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely: friendly and helpful. The location is of course, excellent. The pastries at breakfast delicious and the range of local jams? Interesting and tasty. The Phillipville parking is fairly convenient--maybe a 5 minute walk (imperfect with a heavy bag) and it is designed for older tinier cars rather than newer SUVs).
Cons: They were tearing up the streets which made driving challenging--which was was OK to go? But that's not the hotel's fault.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good central location. It was nice having a balcony over the square. The bathroom came with a bath - although it was a bit short.
Cons: Breakfast ok, not cheap, and on balance I would say a bit too much quantity without the quality. The coffee not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location near the center, close to restaurants, and with a great breakfast in the morning. Reasonable parking available within a short 5 minute walk. Staff was friendly and helpful, spoke English well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was pretty good! we didn't try the breakfast though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly 24 h reception Great breakfast Very good location in the city centre but not too loud Good value for money They have an agreement with a car park next to the hotel (11€/night)
Cons: Room a little bit aged, but clean and tidy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located in old center, near de commercial area and at few minutes to funicular, into a historical building. but upgraded. Excellent breakfast. The hotel give opportunity to park the car into a public parking at 5 minutes.
Cons: In front of the hotel is a nice public garden, but on some days (Friday) is noisy for the rooms situated in front of the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central location, friendly staff, parking nearby, air conditioning, old fashioned feel to the decor.
Cons: Onsite availability of cold drinking/bottled water either free or to purchase would have been appreciated, especially during the hot weather.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location was ok, near the tramway and a few shops. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and served unitl 11:00am.
Cons: The rooms were small and there was no gym!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff particularly Des, could not be more helpful. First class.
Cons: No complaints
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had hot and cold options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: - the staff let us check in at 12h
Cons: - small bath tub
7.1 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, breakfast from 6 to 11 on week-ends, very quiet rooms.
Cons: Small rooms, no water pressure in shower, no room service on week-ends, breakfast barely ok. The housekeeper walked in the room despite the "do not disturb sign" hence waking me up. When she saw she could not clean up the room because I was sleeping she must have told the receptionnist... who then called in my room (waking me up another time) just to check.. I told the manager who assured me it won't happen again the day after... and it did. I dont get how a "do not disturb" sign can be misunderstood especially in a 4 star hotel...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The slots of the parking are very small, and you need to pay a lot of attention to the car
5.8 Okay
Pros: breakfast
Cons: strong musty smell in the room
6.3 Good
Pros: Design of rooms, despite rooms are very basic. May be breakfast is good for France.
Cons: Shower in the room was not working properly. Only one iron in the hotel, guests have to wait in queue to press their stuff, that is stupid.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine. No issues.
Cons: If I could change something, it would be the parking situation. For someone who is not accustomed to park in tight spaces, the parking was a nightmare. I had to have someone help me to avoid hitting the walls. It took a while to park every time because of that.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fan provided. Location.
7.1 Good
Pros: The lcoation was great, five minutes walk from the station and metres from two of the tram lines. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. I asked for a quiet room and got exactly that, I could sleep with the windows open without problems. Some of my colleagues were at the front of the building and complained of noise at night.
Cons: No air conditioning made for a hot room. The room felt pretty dated, particularly the bathroom which had lots of chipped tiles etcetera. The wifi was very slow and patchy, both in the room and downstairs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were clean. The staff went above and beyond to help us out when an item was left in the room during our stay.
Cons: No A\C in the rooms was improved by the fans in each rooms, but some rooms could use larger fans.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy clean and comfi place in the middle of Grenoble. very good price. I didn't try the breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, locationvery nearatramstopsndthe mainstation
Cons: Very small shower cubicle and no aircon ( it was 30 degrees outside) but at least a fan was provided. I asked for twin beds instead of a double and even though I booked months in advance they weren't able to accommodate this.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the main station and not too far from the old town. Great breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable, if slightly small, room.
Cons: It was very hot while we were staying here and even with a fan, the room was hot all night so it was hard to sleep. Although I really liked this hotel if I ever need to stay in Grenoble again in the summer, I will be looking for somewhere with air con.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good price for a small room
Cons: Small bathroom without a real shower, just a bathtube with no curtains so you has to flood the whole bathroom when you tool a shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super welcoming! Highly recommend the breakfast here, different kinds of meet, omelette and boiled eggs, varieties of breads. The room was quiet and calm.
Cons: No air-conditioner
7.5 Good
Cons: No coffee machine in room otherwise adequate
8.8 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice very clean room, nice location, very easy to reach from the train station, and very nice personal. especially a lady (forgot to ask her name!), she explained me a lot about the city. It was really hot outside but in the room was not that bad. I had a good night. And it was quiet!

Pros: Excellent staff and very helpful. Made phone calls about an issue I had with car rental- helped with directions and tourist advice. Very recommended.
Cons: NA
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is nice, 5min walk to the train station. Staff is kind. Cannot complain too much -- it is not expensive.
Cons: The room is full of the smell of detergent. The mattress is somewhat broken. There is a fan in the room, but does not help much in a hot day in Grenoble. With the heat and smell of the detergent, we have to open the window during the night, but then it was noisy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: - 5 min walking distance from the Funicular - 3 min walking distance from the river banks - 3 min walking distance from the nearest supermarket - The room was clean and cozy - The staff was really helpful - Even though there was no electric teapot in the room you could get some hot water from the front desk. - You can see the Bastille from the higher floor balconies
Cons: - Parking might be difficult. You can't park on the street during the day for more than 2,5 hours, but parking during (from 19:00) the night is free. - Some of the staff can't speak proper English.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: In-house breakfast and staff a bonus for this property along with location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to railway station! Although there was no aircon there was a fan in the room that kept the heat manageable. Nice little shower room. Great value for money.

Cons: The hotel is very dated and need modernizaiton. The room was not too bad.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean room and the hotel restaurant was decent.
Cons: The sticky bed was horrible, there is plastic used in the bed, my girlfriend decided to sleep on the covers, it was the only way not to be sticky and sweaty. So whats the point of air conditioning if you use plastic. Parking was paid. Expensive for what you get.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: A rather quirky hotel but lovely for its individuality. There had been a lot of attention to detail in the decor of the hotel and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The receptionist was very welcoming and very helpful with directions to places of interest. We travelled by car and so the inexpensive secure parking was a bonus. There was no noise in the hotel from other guests and no noise from outside and we had an excellent night's sleep as it was so quiet. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of local produce. The wifi worked well. The hotel was close to the things that we wanted to see and enabled us to have a good look around Grenoble.
