Pros: Just fantastic
Pros: Beautiful house in an idyllic location. Very relaxed and friendly, informal, service. Particularly enjoyed the cosy bar where we could chat and mingle with the other guests. Ursula - the manager - works hard at creating an atmosphere where guests can relax and feel at home.
Pros: The breakfasts were wonderful. The staff were helpful. The hotel has a lovely view over a lake.
Cons: The hotel is kind of far from activities apart from fishing.
Pros: Evening meal was unbelievable! Very relaxing setting. Full body massage at the spa was one of the best ive had. German owner was extremely friendly, welcoming and warm.
Pros: very good breakfast well service. quiet place
Cons: cant complain
Pros: Slept like a log in this house. I am normally awake 2-4 times at night....only up once and then back to sleep
Pros: The whole stay was excellent and Dermott was an exceptional host, nothing was a problem to him and his guests.
Cons: Absolutely no dislikes. Rooms and food were A Class plus. *****
Pros: I arrived late at 10pm and got a lovely welcome from Dermot. He was very friendly and helpful. I was departing at 5am so he left out breakfast for me and showed me around the kitchen so I could help myself (he even offered to get up and cook me breakfast at that hour! But I declined
Pros: Our host was welcoming and did his best but i think the B n B just lacked a womans touch missed the little comforts
Cons: Our room was over priced at €85..we were informed it was a store room for a shop that was originally in the house.. €60 would have been enough..It had a musty rising damp smell..the towels were hard and old needed to be changed..The ensuite was very very small with a shower...
Pros: Owner drove us to the next village that had restaurants.
Cons: Few services nearby.
Pros: It was probably the largest room we stayed at during our Ireland stay. And the best water pressure of any hotel so that was really nice. The owner, Dermot, was fun and lively and showed us pictures of his grandfather who had been a stand-in for John Wayne during his filming of 'The Quiet Man' that was filmed in nearby Cong in the 1970's. We met some really interesting people there and had a delightful stay. Dermot recommended we go to Burke's pub for dinner and we had a great dinner there, drinking the local brew, and sitting outside in the back overlooking the beautiful yard. The hotel was warm and friendly and we felt taken care of. Great Irish breakfast! We would definitely go back there.
Cons: It was all great. Couldn't ask for more.
Pros: Very friendly owner and great breakfast
Pros: Beautiful house and Dermot was very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely stay.
Pros: The owners were very friendly and welcoming! The fact that it was in a very small town! Personalized breakfast and the scramble eggs was delicious!

Pros: Ethan in the bar/restaurant couldn't do enough for us and made the few days there extra special
Pros: Breakfast was good, location was good for us but would not appeal to people looking to party
Cons: Bathroom towesl were very skimpy and shower was just about passable
Cons: The smell of burning turf throughout the hotel was very overpowering!!
Pros: Very pleased with the visit
Cons: Bar closed too early.
Pros: Loved everything about the place, from staff to food its great
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Bathroom needs a little bit of upgrade, mainly the shower.
Pros: 1) Easy and quick check-in / check-out 2) Restaurant/bar staff were friendly, attentive 3) Good, clean, tasty breakfast with enough variety
Cons: 1) Access to viewing tower is via the shop which was closed when I arrived (7pm) and still closed when I left (8:30am) 2) Hotel is clean and functional, but lacks character (zero irish heard spoken amongst staff in this gaeltacht tourist hotel), or a sense of coziness (bar area is really just a bright restaurant area. No snugs, partitions, separate booths)
Pros: Clean, convenient and great location on the Connemara Loop.
Cons: A little dated, bathrooms could do with an upgrade.
Pros: Friendly staff members, excellent food and comfortable room.
Pros: Convenient location
