Pros: Check in / Check out were both quick & easy.
All coffee supplies were in the lobby all day. You could always stock up on sweeteners, creamers, and hot chocolate. Great for substituting the dry packaged cream and sugar you always get in the room packages.
You can totally trust the housekeeping staff. I left a few dollars on a table (instead of on the bed) as a tip. They left it untouched..
Cons: Both female desk clerks that I dealt with did not seem to extend themselves at all. Hard to obtain any information from them, most especially the night clerk, without asking very specific questions. During our three day stay, no one bothered to tell us that if you showed your room key to the Denny's Restaurant, conveniently located next to the motel, that we could receive a 15% discount. Luckily a Denny's waitress, the last day we were there, saw the key and discounted our last meal. Because we were with a large group who treated each other to meals, that little omission by the clerks cost me about $30 for the first two days.
Clerks also failed to mention that if you wanted your room cleaned & restocked on a daily basis, you need to hang out a certain well-hidden door card. We didn't find the card until the second day. Needless to say I had to make a trip to lobby when our room was not cleaned. Even then, the clerk did not mention the card.
Having managed an 88-room beachfront motel at one point in my life, I found their conduct and manner very lackluster. Definite training and monitoring required. At this point, they just don't get it, This is supposed to be a hospitality industry. They completely missed the mark on hospitality.
Pros: The friendly and professional staff along with the clean room and many offers
Pros: Nothing it was horrible and a waste of our money. If it had not been it was late and we were exhausted we would have left
Cons: The hallways weren't air conditioned and so hot you could not breath, front desk was not helpful, the hot breakfast was not only limited to nothing and that was at 7 am not at the end of it. Sausage looked raw. We were so disgusted we left and ate sonewhe
Pros: great for the price
Pros: staff and location
Cons: the room air condition..
Cons: Sometimes the floor could be cleaner. I can't understand why the cleaning staff puts the clean towels on the bed and NOT where they belongs in the bathroom and hung-up.
Pros: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: I didn't like the dinosaur of a television and it's remote.
Pros: I love it!
Cons: I didn't get to stay long enough
Pros: Cleanest hotel I've stayed at. Bed was incredibly comfortable. 24 hour Denny's next door with a 15% discount for guests.
Pros: I liked that the rooms were updated and didnt have carpet.
Pros: This was the worse! Bugs and filthy sheets and carpet. The door was broken and could not even lock. The gap between the door and wall was large enough to let even more bugs come in. No water in the pool either. Sheets were disgusting with fresh stains
Cons: We immediately left and found a clean hotel nearby. When we explained to the Deerwood manager Denise and asked for a refund she would not refund the full amount. We were in that horrid room for less then 10 minutes. This place needs to be condemned.
Pros: Very nice stay. Highly recommended
Pros: Lovely view (campground), staff was friendly, the area was quiet, and it was right off the interstate.
Cons: No complaints.
