Completely renovated in 2008 and located just steps away from Madrid main square '' Plaza de España'', this modern Hotel offers spectacular views of the Royal Palace and Casa de Campo. Perfectly situated within walking distance of Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Madrid's main museums (Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofía). In addition, a Metro stop can be found right at the entrance of the hotel allowing convenient travel to the airport or Madrid's main local attractions. The hotel offers 274 spacious contemporary luminous rooms, all with superb views. All rooms offer surcharge access to our Spa and indoor pool. As well, it offers, our delicious restaurant "UNO" by Melia Madrid Princesa where you can delight with exquisite Mediterranean dishes. Our exclusive ''The Level'' service is available too, and it includes complementary access to our ''The Level Lounge'', where breakfast, bar and Spa services are all offered for free.
Good location and ok staff. It is a boutique type hotel with a lot of looks but not much essences. The hallways looked like a disco from the 80's.
Extra €17 for use of the 10x5m indoor pool and sauna is crazy and bad service for a 5-star hotel.Hotel staff appointed us the a very bad, underclass restaurant.
very central location (2 mins walk to the next tube station), huge and varied breakfast buffet, very comfortable beds, reasonably sized rooms (including the bathroom). Although from the outside looking very grey, a huge block of concrete, the inside is very modern and everything seems to have been recently refurbished.
Ridiculous having to pay for the spa/wellness area. Even for only printing my boarding pass they wanted me to pay for the internet but in the end I was "allowed" to use a PC in the business area. To my taste the room interior was a bit too modern - certainly something to get used to.
Cleanliness/Comfort of Room and good access to wifi.
No tea/coffee making facilies - guide to TV channels.
breakfast was good.
the room was very cold(in design). coffee maker didnt work.no english channels apart from cnn and fox news.for a deluxroom itdidnt have a luxurious feel. the upgrade at 80 euro a night on top of 170 per night was definetly not worth it.walls in room were dirty.pool was small, water dirty.
The general atmosphere in the hotel beautiful. Cooperation of staff and management of the hotel, a wonderful
Very exciting style.
Not good enough information in the rooms
I can't answer this question correctly as the hotel was under renovation and some of the facilities were not available
If the lifts were full or not working properly there were no stairs available to use because of the renovation work
Stinking Lobby and too much construction and construction noise in the hotel lobby and bar
