What are the pros of staying at ibis budget Madrid Centro las Ventas?
Very nice and helpful staff. Great value for money. Good clean room & WiFi. Short walk to Metro station. Convenient. Great location! By some nice food places and really close to a metro station. Excellent service. It was near the metro and bus stop, making it very accessible. Just what I needed. Nothing more nothing less. Room, comfortable beds. Very clean, very close to metro/bus station, shops and restaurants around, nice staff. The hotel has an excellent location near groceries, stores and restaurants. The staff was attentive and quick. I loved the great modern decor. The room was comfortable, organized, peaceful and spacious. It is clean but the room is too small. Compare with the price i think it is good overall. Everything was excellent. Excellent location right next to Metro. If one has the tourist card, central location is not essential. Small, friendly, minimalistic hotel best suited for a short city break on budget. Clean Room and close to the subway station. It was a clean room in minimalistic style. Our child loved the bunk bed. Breakfast was good for the price. It has the necessary to stay for vacation or for work. It isn’t central location but easy to reach by metro. Metro nearby, friendly staff, service. Staff were excellent. The breakfast was good. Good location, big room and comfortable bed. Super friendly staff, long hours for breakfast and right next to a subway station which will have you in the city center in 10 minutes. We arrived quite early but they let us check in, which was amazing for us. And another thing I like is they have their own parking place downstairs (need to reserve on the day of arriving), feel much safer and convenient. The location was perfect 2 minutes walk to the metro and 15 by metro to the city center. From the airport to the hotel 12 minutes drive which was a plus for us. Restaurants and grocery stores are also close by. It's IBIS budget hotel so it exactly delivers on its promise - good price/quality ratio - Location is good, just next to the metro stop which takes you around Madrid - Lots of restaurants around, Carrefour and shops, post office around the corner - It's on the edge of paid parking zone, so 5-10 minutes away from hotel you've free parking but to find the spot is very tough. I've left the car for 2h (max stay) in green zone and was overdue 10min and saw already a municipal workers checking my car for the time overdue... - Breakfast is simple but good for the money, and it's till 10:30 or 11:30 on weekends - Staff was really nice and helpful with all requests we've had. Location was good, well connected with public transport. Clean and had everything we needed. Good location is a nice area. Clean. Close to metro (line 5) and bus stops. Extremely comfortable rooms, very clean! The hotel is located a few steps away from the metro that takes you right to the city center into the heart of Madrid!! Very good restaurants nearby. And... wonderful people at the reception!!! We needed help at some point during our vacation, and they were absolutely fantastic!!!! Budget price, room not big but staff helpful. Warm shower. Friendly staff. Easy for metro access. the price and location, close to the subway station and about 30 minutes from the gran via zone by subway. pet friendly. very close to metro. good breakfast at a great price. i would stay here again. It was ok to stay there for 3 nights (just to sleep and have a shower its perfect), from the center 20 mins by metro, from the airport 35 mins. It’s location and the cleanliness. For the price the hotel was excellent. Good cheap breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly.
What are the cons of staying at ibis budget Madrid Centro las Ventas?
Toilet door doesn't give any privacy. Basic low cost accommodation. The room was very small. Washroom and shower were both small and the hotel rooms felt a little older than the lobby. My curtains were worn out or broken. The ventilation for the bathroom and the restroom should be fixed. VERY SMALL rooms. Like ridiculously small. Bathroom. Very small rooms but again understandable because of cheap prices (would work perfectly for one person not more). The rooms are very small with the shower and washbasin inside. Some of the staff little moody. Room looked like a Hospital. No wardrobe. Nothing. Shower head was a bit damaged, not providing proper shower. Breakfast a tad simple and repetitive, take that into account if staying more than a couple of nights. Light in toilet. It turns off every few seconds. And there is a smoke detector, and shining strongly during the whole night, disturbed us a lot. And we got a room with an extra kid bed above, good for family travellers but not us. my head got hit two three times. Pillows are bit soft. The breakfast was not the best. But it worked. Parking is tough around. Rooms is quite small, but that's what you pay for, though after having stayed there 4 days you feel too jammed :) We've had a leak in our room in the middle of the night, so needed to move, but it was quickly resolved by the staff. If you're late for breakfast, some things (like tortilla) would be missing and won't get replenished (though we asked). It is still not worth and value for money. There was no enough big towels, Breakfast was also very average compare to other Ibis hotels. Only thing was no hairdryer. The breakfast was too simple. The same items everyday. The breakfast is not worth it even if it is really cheap. We needed to refresh the door cards twice during our stay which was inconvenient. Limited space for breakfast. No space to move around while serving breakfast. Overpriced for a budget hotel. Not much in the way of local bars and restaurants at night if you want to stay local but the connection and proximity to the tube makes up for it. Bad facilities Awful Internet connect (was not able to work with the hotel's WiFi) Very little space besides the bedroom. No hair dryer in room, so need to get it with 10 EUR deposit. A couple of lamps weren't working; really tight access to the parking - you better be a good driver and drive a small car! Ventilation in bathroom dirty. It met my expectation. As expected. Everything. finding parking was hard. Would like a bigger room but cant complain for the cost. TV size. the hotel rooms do not have air conditioners, only weak fans. the bedroom was smaller than I thought, the bathroom doesn’t have a good design. breakfast was horrible! also there was no eggs , ham or cheese, was sitting there for 30 min and breakfast was never replaced for the new replacements, this was around 9am, people working in there should be faster to bring those main items for breakfast, only eat bread and butter, do not recommend breakfast! The pillows for the beds were flat, you should bring your own. Bathroom very small with no privacy. batshroom. The rooms shown are not what we booked. Everything. No breakfast. Room a little too small for 2. Hot room Bunkbed above head Window not completely to open - hot.
