10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house has been designed to be a very elegant b&b. The bedroom was really very elegant and very spacious. The room came with king bed and a single bed that was seemed could have been from Buckingham Palace. There was also a great selection of teas and biscuits that were quite good. The breakfast room was very well decorated and had a complete breakfast made for a king. Really had a great stay and would go out of my way to stay here again if in the area in the future.
Cons: The parking lot was fairly minimal and the driveway is very narrow, long and the pavement is not good or uniform. The bathroom was fairly dated and was just adequate. The flat screen TV was very small

Pros: I liked the hotel it was close to Blarney Castle, and that it was very quite. My husband enjoyed using the gym while I tried to recover from jet lag. The hotel restaurant we went for dinner was great! The waitress and waiters were very nice and friendly.
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable to sleep on, and the staffs at the reservation desk were average - didn't seem to be very welcoming.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to the village and Barney Castle. Restaurant right downstairs for meals.
Cons: Elevator was out of service so we had to lug suitcases up the stairs. Restaurant service was not the best. Servers in restaurant were not tuned in to customers. More interested in socializing among staff members. Food was very good.

Pros: Modern room, very clean, very welcoming owner. Great breakfast and quiet location.
6.6 Good
Pros: Margaret and David were wonderfully hospitable. Good food, great location a short walk from town and the castle, and a comfy BIG bed. The shower was absolutely fantastic, and overall the room was extremely nice. We also loved the breakfast selections, and the breakfast room itself was a beautiful, cheery place to start the day.
Cons: The "common area"/lounge was not very inviting, the door was kept shut and there were a few bits and pieces of stuff from a remodel strewn about. Margaret was very apologetic about that, but it was definitely a bit of a disappointment.

Springfort Hall Hotel - Mallow - Bedroom
8.6 Excellent (704 reviews)
This exclusive 49 bedroom hotel is tucked away amid tranquil woodlands and landscaped gardens. It evokes memories of a forgotten era of gentility and charm. There are many activities in the area to enjoy while staying with us for instance, Golfing, Angling, Walking, Equestrian, Cycling, Castle visits, Heritage Centres, Garden Visits, Parks, Caves, and of course total peace and tranquility. Although the house is Georgian, the estate goes back to the Norman invasion of Ireland of 1169 and, for centuries, remained the property of the landed gentry. This mellow, Grade A Listed house echoes its noble past in dimension and design. And, under its present ownership of the Walsh Family, its tradition of refined hospitality continues with a professional touch and the added embellishments of the present day to ensure a luxurious and carefree stay.
