Cons: A bit far from town, but free taxi service is provided.
Pros: The hotel is charming, beautifully decorated, and the rooms have a terrific view of the ocean. The bathroom was modern and the bed was firm but not hard. The terrace off our room was perfect for having a glass of wine while enjoying the view. The breakfast is absolutely awesome!! A free taxi service was available to take us to town/pick us up and we never had to wait more than a few minutes. (You could also walk but it's steep.) The staff was very helpful and friendly, and spoke English. If we have the opportunity to visit Cinque Terre again we'll definitely stay at La Serra Sul Mare!
Pros: La Serra Sul Mare is a great B&B just outside of Monterossa... the owner and her daughter have decorated beautifully, cook a great breakfast, and greet you in your room with coffee, tea, and small pastries. What a treat. Don't let the fact that it is just outside of town be a drawback.. the walk to town is short, and if you don't wish to walk, they provide complimentary taxi service. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.
Pros: The owners were great and so was the breakfast! They were very helpful all during our stay.
Pros: The hotel staff was extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast was incredible with many homemade, delicious dishes. The location was great for hiking the Cinque Terre and the free taxi service into Monterosso was a wonderful perk.
Cons: We had a few heavy bags and they had to be carried up the many steps. However, the Signora actually helped us carry them......amazing!
Pros: From the moment you call at the gate your are treated as a special guest. The view of the mediterrean is spectacular, rooms are beautifully appointed and the breakfast remarkable.

Pros: Super friendly owners who were very attentive. Maria spoke excellent English, was very warm and eagerly recommended the best places to eat in town. Wi-Fi reception was excellent and the breakfast (vouchers for a local cafe's offerings) was mostly good (just avoid the fruit salad- there were some flies hanging around the outdoor patio buffet).
Cons: The only downside is the smell outside the property that greets you when you walk down that street, but that's not something the B&B owners can control or help much. The location looks a little sketchy when you first see it (the entrance to the inn is at the end of a side alleyway), but it is a very safe place to stay.

Pros: The service for this place was outstanding! Upon arriving, they gave our group of 4 welcome drinks (along with an extra bottle to take back to the room), and let us sample some incredible pesto. They recommended places to eat for dinner, and overall we really enjoyed their hospitality. The breakfast was great as well, included fruit and yogourt, which most places do not. Our room for 4 could have slept an additional person plus had a baby cot included.
Pros: Cherry was amazing. She accommodated to all of our needs. We were 4 girls backpacking Italy on a budget, but our stay felt like a real treat! The room was amazing, and the included breakfast was probably the best we've ever had. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone who tells me they're traveling to Cinque Terre!
Pros: We had a wonderful stay here - a girls trip from London for the weekend to walk the Cinque Terre. Our hostess Cherry was brilliant - made our trip!!
Pros: This is a great place and is rented by a wonderful couple that are very helpful.
Pros: The owners are wonderful, very accommodating. We had booked a four person room and showed up w/ 5 and didn't get charged any more. When I asked where to buy tea, she took me to a shop and bought it for me to place in the room. Best breakfast w/ meat, cheese, bread, jam, coffee, and pastries. Cute room, spaciously comfortable, t.v., loved the shower head, tea kettle in room and table!

Pros: The hotel was fantastic - our room was clean and air-conditioned, staff was very nice and accommodating and breakfast was awesome!

Pros: The hotel was no frills but it was clean and the room was a decent size.
Cons: The location is lousy. It's perched up high on a hill with beautiful views of the water and town, but it's totally isolated and requires taking a shuttle into town, which only runs sporadically.
This hotel has the best view in Cinque Terre!! Our room had a balcony with a table and chairs, so we'd sit outside to eat our breakfast every morning. Very romantic! The perfect hotel for our honeymoon :) *Very important: the road to the hotel is very long and steep, so do not try to walk there with your luggage when you arrive. The hotel has a free shuttle service that runs hourly or pay 8 for an individual trip. We didn't realize this and tried to walk to the hotel with our heavy luggage. It was a big mistake but fortunately the shuttle saved us halfway up the trail.* Our only complaint is that the bed was super hard, so we kept waking up with back pain. Otherwise, the room is spacious and bathroom was comfortable. If we get the chance to come back to Cinque Terre one day, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!
Pros: Breathtaking view!!!
Cons: Bed was really hard and uncomfortable.

A terrace, ping-pong and foosball are all provided in Degli Amici's unique and colorful garden. There are terraced olive groves and vineyards just behind the property. Monterosso's sandy beaches are just 660 feet from the hotel, which provides beach towels for guests. The train station is a 9 minute walk away, and ferries to Portovenere and the other Cinque Terre towns leave from the pier.
I usually don't write reviews but this place was so wonderful that I want to let ppl know about it. It does not have a ocean view but Rina's room was all and more than I needed. Exceeded my expectation. Best place ever. I stayed at the top room. It was a little apartment with kitchen ( great breakfast included) , living room with tv, bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and cozy.
Pros: I really loved this place, it was like a little apartment, very cozy, clean and great for couples (very romantic).
Cons: You have to call them or email them in advance and let them know what it will be your arrival time to make sure someone is there for you. I emailed them until I got there and in 5 min someone was there to check in so it was not a big deal.
Located in Cinque Terre, this bed & breakfast is steps from Vernazza Beach, Footpath Vernazza-Monterosso, and Vernazza Ferry. Church of San Pietro and Lardarina Staircase are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Cons: The mattress was worn out, and the bedspread appeared dirty. The room was very small. I had to turn sideways to get from the bed to the bath. It was close to the train station, but I didn't care for the neighborhood.
Located in La Spezia Historic Centre, this guesthouse is within a 10-minute walk of Church of Nostra Signora della Neve, Amadeo Lia Museum, and Palazzina delle Arti e Museo del Sigillo. Museo Diocesano and Church of Nostra Signora della Salute are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Lovely family run establishment, well worth the money-good breakfast and great location in Cinque Terre.
Cons: The rooms are sized well but a bit outdated, towels and linens are basic but adequate. All in all, the rooms are no frill but the treatment was superb.
