Very beautiful hotel, old but some rooms have been nicely refurbished. Staff very helpful and polite.

My bathroom had a bit of a damp smell and the shower wasn't hot enough. There was a noise of trickling water during the whole night that made it very difficult to fall asleep

Interesting old building. Rooms ok but not outstanding for 5 star. Friendly staff - we changed our room upon arrival and were given complimentary drinks.

Bags could have been taken to our room. Sandwiches in afternoon tea too thick - scones were excellent. No concierge on duty on a Saturday night.
