Pros: This property is immaculate The staff and service is unbelievable
Pros: Probably one of my favourite hotels and locations in the world. Amazing service and staff. Was my girlfriends birthday and they went the extra mile and made 2 cakes, balloons and champagne in the room at no extra charge. Very nice touch.
Cons: Obviously it's expensive but you do get what you pay for, place is incredible, staff and service incredible. Only complaint would be the bed was vert uncomfortable, i could feel the springs.
Pros: The most beautiful property in Spain , fantastic facilities and service. TOP!
Cons: A bit far distant, but worth traveling .
Pros: Loved 99 percent absolutely gorgeous. The decor, landscaping, staff, flowers, food, ambience. Beautiful beach club. Chris have warm welcome on arrival despite the antisocial time!
Cons: Breakfast service hit and miss, beverage service very slow. Bed was too firm.
Pros: Service exemplary. Gardens sensational! Peaceful and truly 5 Star! They also allowed us a late( 14-00 ) checkout which was so helpful. Rooms spotless. Fresh fruit( changed daily) and flowers . Towels changed constantly.
Cons: Nothing really. Perhaps the water at the main pool should be free.
Pros: Everything. This place never fails us. Like it more and more each time we go
Pros: We very much enjoyed breakfast on the outside terrace, great choice included in the room rate. Our suite was vast and beautifully furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful, notable service from the staff in the bar, the mediterranean restaurant and the housekeeping staff did a great job.
Cons: absolutely nothing
Pros: Lovely architecture, gardens and outlook. Most staff very pleasant especially lunchtime and breakfast waitress.
Cons: We were not allowed a drink in the bar and denied access to the outside restaurant as I was wearing a long sleeve dress shirt, tailored shorts and dress shoes.Despite another guest in shorts and various guests in casual jeans and loafer shoes. When prebooking both the hotel and restaurant did not warn of the no shorts rule and in any case on website was very confusing as it implies smart casual attire was the dress code with no beach attire etc and shorts, implying they were beach shorts. In any case the brochure in the room only mentions the Japanese restaurant for no shorts. It was an anniversary trip for my wife and we were told we would have to leave the hotel if we did not change into trousers which the hotel would let me try.We have stayed in hundreds of 5 -7 star hotels in the Summer around the world and never had this problem so the hotel should warn the guests this could be an issue when booking both the hotel and restaurants. In any case on the website it uses the word “ refrain” from wearing shorts not “ cannot” .Because of this issue we had to wait 45 minutes for our predinner drinks, were late for dinner and it totally took the shine off what was to be a special anniversary dinner. We were given the pre dinner drinks complimentary, although this gesture did not make up for the shorts issue and lost time especially as we weren’t offered the welcome drink advertised. The cheapest price for a room for one night was over 1000 euros, and with spa treatments and dinner over 1700 euros.Customers paying this amount should not be treated like second class citizens in terms of withholding drinks etc in front of other guests. When I complained both the night before and on check out there was no apology just a shrug of the shoulders” that is hotel policy”.We regularly visit the golf club club for golf / and or meals as we have a house South of Marbella but this whole incident and your staff reaction to it has left us very disappointed and spoiled our Anniversary...

Pros: The hotel was perfect for me visiting family for one night In a beautiful little fishing village. The bathroom was perfect with a walk in shower and for once a towel that was able to wrap around the body after a shower.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard and there were no windows to open
Pros: The location is convenient for anyone with intent to visit a lovely part of Sabinillas, and with hopes for a quick walking distance to Duquesa port. The receptionist was very helpful; he really made the impression that he wanted to help. This is something that I don’t often experience with many accommodations in southern Andalucia. Additionally, when deciding to extend our stay in the vicinity, staying in the same accommodation was an instant choice. Gracias por su hospitalidad!
Cons: Lightning could be slightly improved, but no deal breaker. NO COMPLAINTS.
Pros: Location was excellent. Also parking available. Good value for money!
Cons: Staff was so confused. It was unprofessional.
Pros: Lovely rooms. Cleaned every day with fresh towels. Staff excellent especially reception staff.
Cons: My only tiny issue was room was very hot. Has air con but it doesn’t kick out much. Having said that it was extremely hot when I visited. And I know air con units do sometimes struggle.
Pros: Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The room was rather short on facilities, I.e. no desk or chairs.
Pros: Jesus, very helpful and friendly.
Pros: Location. Cleanliness. Easy check in. Beds.
Cons: Shower was small and a few signs of damp/ rust around the seals. Towels were old, thin and a bit rough.
Pros: Lovely place to stay.Felt at home and the owner was lovely, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We willbe back.thank you :)
Cons: Wish we wouldhave booked the whole weekend.Nothing not to like!
Pros: Spent 1 night as had business in Sotogrande. Great location, lovely walks on beach promenade, good food within easy walking distance. Pawl is a great host and kept us well informed every step of the way.
Pros: In all my travels this the best apartments I have stayed at. The house and the rooms are very clean. The matterss is really comfortable. Also, the beach is just 1min away. The beach is not croweded, even on Sundays when locals are off and got to the beach. Usually it was quite easy to get a good parking spot but on days like sunday when more people go to the beach it gets a tiny bit harder. Paul and Laly are amazing and welcoming host. They were very helpful and gave us great tipps. With Paul we had some very interesting conversetions and he also took us on a amazing walking through the mountain/river. Laly, although she doesn't speak a lot of english, was also very kind and a pleasuar to be around. Additionally, they have the prettiest cat I have ever seen, who is also very nice to guests. I am definatly coming back. Paul if you are reading this: You are amazing. (Hope this is not weird)
Pros: Very close to beach and 5 mins walk from very good restaurants
Pros: If you want to be near the sea you can't beat this location, Paul, the owner was very helpful.
Cons: Imdidn't realize at the time I had booked a room in someones private house, so there was some confusion on my part just after booking, we only stayed for one night and enjoyed the stay
Pros: Ours was only a flying visit between gigs a I am a musician but the area is lovely and the welcome and the facilities were excellent.
Pros: We have read the review already that the accommodation is in Pauls private house. Nevertheless it was tidy, very close to the beach and Paul had quite some recommendations for our stay. If you do not expect a hotel but keep in mind that it is rather a lovely stay in a private room, this accommodation can definitely be recommended.
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: No aircon. Bathroom was in another room. Said it was luxury room. Dont think so.
Pros: Good location, friendly host
Pros: Paul, the owner, was amazing. So friendly, very professional and helped with local recommendations and directions etc

Pros: Really nice swimming pool area.
Cons: Breakfast menu were quite limited.
Pros: The 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious and had a big balcony / terrace. There were 2 bathrooms which was helpful, and air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom. It was very clean and had all the necessary equipment (including a dishwasher and washing machine). The communal areas were spotless; the communal lounge had a TV and books to borrow in several languages. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the receptionist was helpful in answering our many questions about the area.
Cons: We had great trouble finding the complex initially (even with a sat nav) so it would be better if more detailed arrival instructions were given. The swimming pool area was good but the pool itself was rather small for the number of people in the complex in July.
Pros: Staff were friendly. Apt was great good value .Bed Cody and kitchen well equipped. Pool area very clean.
Cons: Pool was unsupervised. Lots of people and I couldn’t get a sun bed! People throwing each other into the pool which needed to be stopped, it is an accident waiting to happen!
Pros: Nice clean place with secure parking good size apartments at good prices. Ideal if u are traveling by car or dont mind 20 minutes walk to amenities
Pros: The cleanliness of the property and the position geographically which gave great panoramic views over the bay and countryside. The pool area was very clean and well equipped and the water quality excellent. Parking was in the underground car park which kept the car cool so no uncomfortable car journeys. The staff were polite and very help full and we were able to book in early as we took an early morning flight and arrived at lunch time.
Cons: We did not have anything to complain about
Pros: It was good value for money
Cons: Without a car it’s a bit of a walk to nearby bars/restaurants
Pros: Convenient location to visit Andalusia with a descent distance to Gibraltar, Malaga, Ronda etc. Spacious apartment well equipped. Pool wasn't crowded and staff very friendly and helpful. Free underground parking. Calm beach with shops and bars around.
Cons: Swimming pool could be a little bigger and it is a mile walk to the gravel beach.
Pros: Clean pleasant, air conditioning . well equipped for self catering , Felt secure . locking louver doors over the patio doors . personal combination safe box , could walk to the pool bear foot. nice pool with loungers and shades.
Cons: I would have like moor English speaking T V channels
Pros: Fantastically clean, staff friendly particularly bar staff. Rooms were of good size. Pool area was never too overcrowded.
Cons: Only issues we had were our 3 bedroom (1st floor) apartment had very small balconies the living room 1 with table was too small for us & our 4 children (inc 3 6ft boys!) to use together. Balcony off main bedroom was slightly bigger but we couldn't get the table out there. Luckily our friends had 3 bedroom on ground floor with a VERY large outside area. More importantly BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS of swimming pool steps they are very sharp at edges we all had little cuts - unfortunately our daughter badly cut her thumb on side of steps in shallower end and needed 4 stitches at medical centre although staff were lovely and helpful.
Pros: The apartment was so clean The terrace
Cons: The sofa was old The kitchen tools was a little bit poor

Pros: No nothing good about food and had no kids menu
Pros: The pools where nice, apart from the locals leaving their towels on the sun beds so knowone else could use them. The food and catering staff where really good.
Cons: The bed was rock solid. Also our apartment was very far from the communal bin area so carrying our waste bags (kitchen & bathroom) 500m in 30degree heat wasnt the nicest thing to do in a family holiday. Perhaps they could've been picked up in one of the many on site buggies.
Pros: Great place
Pros: The views and absolutely nothing else.
Cons: The worst accommodation I have stayed in, in Spain ever.... it is incredibly poor value for money. Never again. Think very carefully before booking this place. The pictures are incredibly deceiving!!!
Pros: Well maintained grounds and facilities
Cons: Bed was incredibly uncomfortable, had terrible sleep every night in it. Need more umbrellas by the pools.
Pros: Everything was great...Service at reception was very good. Food was nice... Location is great.
Cons: We could have been told when bed sheets and towels would be changed.. Nothing else.
Pros: Great pool but too busy and loud!
Cons: Didn’t see any staff ever. Never enough sun beds
Pros: Value for money
Cons: accessibility for buggy
Pros: breakfast and Dinner was easy and tasty, food was a little cold at the start of service,
Cons: Bed was terrible, you can't sleep on them, me and my wife took it in turns to sleep on the Sofa ! Paintwork is in bad state and balcony look like if was rusting You are not told you the location of your room from the pools/restaurant - pool was 800 steps from the room, not the place for them to put a disabled child
Pros: Swimming pool and rooms

Pros: Beds are v comfy, a/c quiet and very efficient

Pros: Cleanliness and efficiency of host
Cons: N/a was what was expected
Pros: Private. Quiet. Nobody bothered me. They let me put my rollator in their private quarters so I didn’t have to carry it upstairs.
Cons: No view Looked out onto an inner wall The room was very dark.
Pros: Location was perfect and the room was very clean.
Pros: Unfortunately the stairs to the top floor but otherwise for what I paid value for money
Cons: The stairs good value the price
Pros: This is a very quiet and chilled hostel. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable, and it was really nice that they provided fresh water for us to drink each day. The location is fantastic, and there’s a good bar with great tasting freshly made food. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. I would recommend this hostel to any of my friends or family.
Pros: The staff were friendly. The accomodation was ideal for someone travelling alone.
Cons: My car was taken by the police to a pound. At the police station noone could speak good enough English to explain why. I had to walk about 3 miles to the pound and wait until someone turned up. Several expats at the golf club all had similar experiences.
Cons: My room was just a room , no toilet or shower
Pros: The owner was extremely helpful, even though he could not speak English. He had good communication/manners and was very informative.
Cons: No outside ventilation in the room.
Pros: Spa bath
Cons: Restricted hours for use of spa bath

Pros: Location and reasonably quiet considering location close to centre.
Cons: Could not complain
Pros: Near to restaurants,
Cons: Very noisy from all the people out at night. Also very noisy from the A7-road just a outside the house... No balcony to sit on. Old furniture and the whole apartment needs renovation and refurbishing.
Cons: The host is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Absolutely unbelievable. Also, I paid extra for the penthouse as it advertised one large bed and it cam with two singles. Access was very difficult as key safe was not working. The host reluctantly walked down the stairs to assist and was nothing but rude.
Pros: Location and nice terrace with view of harbour
Cons: No hairdryer and basics for an apartment such as washing up liquid
Pros: Air con excellent. Good fridge. Location fantastic.
Cons: Balcony small.
Pros: Location, owner was very hospitable to checking in early and leaving late. Great value for money
Pros: Nothing the room needed a good clean, the shower was not fitted correctly, never saw staff.
Cons: Nothing we could have stayed in better hostels than this place.
Pros: All of it
Pros: Room was very well located and the place was clean.
Cons: Beds were ok and the water pressure for the shower was very very poor. One big thing for me where I stay is having a good shower anything else even the bed I'm not too worried about.

Pros: The location was excellent. Air conditioning didn't work. But, when it was reported it was fixed, (after a long period of time)
Cons: Bathroom shower didn't work properly, (no water pressure). Bath plug didn't work properly. Coffee's were cold. Breakfast was not hot and quite poor value.
Pros: Location was great, room was large, clean and very quiet even though the main road was not far away. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Wifi was greatThe hotel is between Duquesa marina and Sabinillas so you get the best of both.
Cons: That I only could stay 1 night
Pros: Although old and dated our room and bedding were very clean. The young couple working there were extremely nice and helpful, an asset to his business. Both hard working and made our stay very pleasant indeed. As we were only staying for one night whilst visiting friends we did not mind so much but if staying longer we would have complained. Against all that it was like stepping back in time to the Spain I knew 40 years ago which made us giggle.
Cons: Hotel very old and in need of tender loving care. We were reliably informed that although he charged us 90 euro the usual price is only 70?? No toiletries in the bathroom which one expects in a hotel so we could not shower. No ice in the bar when we ordered our drinks. For 90 euro per night just a bed isn't good enough!!
Pros: Proximity to beach and Peurto fella duchess’s
Cons: Charge of half the price before expiry of cancellation period
Pros: Location fantastic for walking to where we wanted to be. Quiet at night even though next to the A7...air con was a great idea..so at least we were cool. Shampoo..soap provided. Value for money ...fantastic.
Cons: Wifi could have been stronger in the rooms.
Cons: The shower was ineffective, overpriced, noisy loacation, stated to be beach front property but was not.
Pros: close to beach
Pros: Quaint and slightly nuts nut that could use updating and a little tlc. Having said that the staff and owners were lovely.
Cons: See above
