Pros: We absolutely loved this accommodation. Everything was perfectly clean and prepared. Beautiful house with beautiful neighborhood, full of olive trees. Hélène was so neat and prepared us great breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place where we stayed could be described by french "trés jolie". It is as a hidden gem within the surrounded nature. A very nice owner who was so kind to us. Nice location, beautiful garden, pretty house with swimming pool, lovely breakfast - we would like to come back and stay for longer there!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting. Sympatique hostess. Nice breakfast in room. Good location on our way back to Paris from Provence
Cons: Plug for bathtub needs to be repaired
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with beautiful views and quiet. Helene was amazing, so warm and caring, her breakfast was just excellent, fresh croissants and bread, yogurt and eggs done any way you want, plus all this served in the room! We were spoilt. For our first night, we arrived too late for dinner reservation and were tired out from the hours of driving but Helene was so kind to give us a box of cookies to tide us over. It was our first time in luberon, and Helene was very helpful on advising us where to go and what to see. The highlight of our trip was being allowed to help harvest the olives, at least for me while my poor exhausted hubby napped in the sun! Gorgeous way to relax in the sun after all the stress of working too hard! And I enjoyed chatting and learning something new. Provence is wonderful to visit without the crowd of the summer tourists, both on the roads and at the tourist spots. I loved all the quaint little villages on the hills and can imagine how beautiful the lavendar fields must be in summer. But the snow capped mountains more than made up for this. We did not manage to see everything so we will be back. It was too short a stay, but was perfect in every way possible, thanks to Helene! And of course to go shopping again at Collines for fragrant soaps and perfume, another great recommendation from our host! Location wise, this was perfect, easy to access the gorge de verdon and the rest of luberon, if only we had more time. ....our room was very spacious and looked just like in the photos, towels were super soft and the bed comfortable. This is one of the best places we have stayed.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Closest restaurant was about 15min drive, but no real issue.

Pros: Great welcome, great hosts, great stay. The hosts are giving great advice and are making a vvery varied French home made brrakfast that you take on a wonderful terrace among olive trees. I strongly recommend for a true and authentic Provence experience.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We are a family of four with two children who stayed at La Brunetière in July 2018. We received an incredibly warm and hospitable welcome from the owners throughout our stay. They really made us feel completely at ease and relaxed in their beautiful property, and always made sure that we were as happy as possible, We can only give them full marks for customer service. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially the spectacular Gorges du Verdon and lavender fields, while Aix and other beautiful Provence towns are only a short drive away..
Cons: Nothing!!! The only thing to note is that the property is at the end of a long rough track, which for us made for a very peaceful stay but means that you need a car to enjoy the surrounding area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Chambre d'Hotes La Brunetiere. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The place is beautiful and very peaceful. The breakfast was amazing as well. The location worked great being so close to the lavender fields, but it still lets you escape the crowds.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Isabelle and Claude invited us to have dinner with them which was delicious (they had gone out of their way to try a vegetarian menu for us) and they were delightful company. We had such a lovely evening, played cards. They were so kind, funny, interesting and welcoming - it was a really unique experience. The room was very comfortable. And in the morning we sat down and had breakfast with them and had freshly made pancakes and homemade jam. They gave us lots of time and were happy to chat. I recommend going out of your way to come and stay here.

Pros: Breakfast was generous and reasonable price at 12 euro per person.
Cons: No shower's curtain, water sprayed everywhere. As Genius level 2 member, it mentioned in booking.com that I received 15% discount but when I looked at the hotel's pricelist, I paid listed price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good. Also the pool is nice because it is summer and the location is not close to the sea. We alse liked the fact that our room was opening to a backyard garden.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The kitchen was really nice, room was roomy and comfortable.
Cons: A lot of wasps in the garden at the back of the rooms made it impossible to open the sliding door. And superficial cleaning, behind furniture a lot of dust and cobwebs.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good
Cons: Would have preferred 24 hr reception.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome and a lovely room. Very helpful staff. We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and the location was excellent to walk into the town. Would certainly return.
7.5 Good
Pros: It is located in a small and lovely town near Valensole - quite convenient to get onto D6 and D8 where you can easily find good spots for the lavenders. Good restaurants and shops in town. - can probably spend half day exploring.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room and the pool.
Cons: The reception desk was closed a lot of the time so difficult to find someone to talk to. When there was someone there, they were very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lou Paradou was our little night stop during our lavender Tour, after visiting Valensole and before going to the Verdon area. Location is amazing, just a 5 min walk from the centre of the Village, the Hotel is really modern with signs of a recent re-style that, in my opinion, was a really successful one. Our room was squeaky clean and with all the comfort we needed, AC (NOT PRESENT IN EVERY HOTEL), a kitchenette, large bathroom and a balcony. The bed was really comfy and they even have a swimming pool!
Cons: Next step could be upgrading a little the breakfast offer and updating the payment options, getting a contactless POS could be a nice start :)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room. Good to have kitchen facilities
Cons: Outdoor area, including pool could be made even more attractive with better furniture and outdoor activities. Hated television I’m all the time in bar.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We picked the place mainly because of the pool, as it was very hot. Otherwise we might have picked something a bit closer to the old town. It turned out to be a good choice, though, as the rooms were out to be quite nice, there was ample parking, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had an anxious moment as the on-site restaurant, which is a seprate enterprise from the hotel, looked to be fully booked. In the end, they were able to accomodate us when we agreed to dine at 21.00. The food was quite good and the service was cordial.
Cons: I would have liked to know it is a good idea to book the restaurant at the same time as the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, clean, confortable bed, nice breakfast
Cons: In the chairs around the pool was full of mosquitos and bees and the same was the pool (in Sunday in particular). Doing the check in on Sunday the restaurant was closed (indipendent from the hotel) and we had to drive 10 minutes to find an open restaurant (on Sunday most of restaurant around are closed)

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely cheerful, nice and attentive… Nice and quiet pool.. Huge bathroom I suppose once it was kinda a Motel - you park your car just outside the room :)
Cons: Shame there was not a minibar/small fridge to have cool drinks when thirsty in the middle of the night (we had extremely hot days)
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. Breakfast is not too much but enough and of good quality. The room is clean and the shower we had in our room was really nice. The pool looked nice even though we did not have time to enjoy it. Check-in, Check-out was smooth. The hosts are very friendly. A few mins drive to Auchan supermarket for a quick shopping needs is also nice.
Cons: There was no refrigerator ! We were looking for one in the room. During a hot summer, it would be nice to store away some drinks to chill after coming back from provencal Lavender Fields or Gorges du Verdon for example.
6.8 Good
Pros: Very clean room, love the extra pillows, good A/C (important when travelling in the summer months and this is the main reason we chose this hotel), good spread of breakfast (nothing warm though) quiet, each room has is own designated parking.
Cons: Too basic. For 95 euro a night some drinking water should be included. No drinking water (and no place to buy in the facility) no coffee tea in he room, too small Queen bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff (owners) is absolutely perfect!!! They were very friendly and very kind to us! The location is very good ...not far from the supermarket. You can walk or drive within 3mins (Walking maybe 10mins) and the city centre of Manosque is not far from here so that you can get some food there as well. Moreover, it's a good centre for u to drive and wander around Provence. The room is good also the bathroom as well! The vibe of the hotel is very lovely! I love the garden, all the trees and swimming pool! The breakfast was very good! The food is from local products so you can enjoy Lavender honey and local food from here! I really recommend you to stay here for your holiday! :)
Cons: I recommend having a refrigerator in the room so that we can keep some food or drinks in the fridge. The others are perfect!:)

Cons: The only comment I can make is the the WiFi was not very good at all

Pros: The hotel is a 2-star. It is conveniently located downtown and restaurants are very close. The hotel actually had free parking for hotel visitors. We stayed 2 nights. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the Vernon Gorge.
Cons: The room was small and there is no elevator in the hotel...and a lot of stairs to get to the third floor. It was 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 kids. The bed for the adults was an American full size, not a queen. Overall, it was ok.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and the location is fine.
Cons: The hotel is over-priced and wrongly categorized. It isn’t well-maintained and has obviously seen better days. It really needs an update. What’s more there was a pungent chemical odour in the section I stayed in, including in the room. The beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was a peculiar kind of wet room. In short, I think it should be rated as a 3-star rather than a 4-star hotel; to do otherwise is misleading.

Cons: The pool is a very short walk away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was simple, breakfast had a nice variety and the hotel has a lovely charm to it, but could be that it’s targeted to a bit of a more mature generation. We had a beautiful view from the balcony however quite possibly the smallest room I’ve ever been in. Beds were comfortable and the property has a lot of options for activities (pool, beach volleyball, ping pong). The town is quite lovely and good proximity to Valensole, and Verdon Gorge.
Cons: There are other options available I’m sure, but the standard room is very small.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel belongs to a well know chain therefore you don´t expect too many surprises. The rooms were spatious, nice and clean. Breakfast was typical french and it was ok although with not too much of variety. The hotel has a very convenient free big parking place for guests´ cars and a swimming pool. We really appreciated the fact that it is just in the beginning of the road to Valensole. The lavander fields were just 15-20 min driving from the hotel. We tried one of the restaurants next to the hotel and it was very good.
Cons: it needs more electrical outlets in the rooms.

6.8 Good
Pros: Rooms are renovated
Cons: Too old
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Two bathrooms, very clean, nice breakfast
Cons: The room viewed the panking, it was an ex-corridor or sth, so there were emergency exits open, and the lights
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, close to city center, facilities and restaurants. Close to lavender fields. Comfort bed, clean room, air condition. Safe box!
Cons: Fridge in the room could be good to have. Also breakfast was not good. No eggs or vegetables even for 12 €. Bread, yogurt and cheese/ham. Average French breakfast I would say. Keys to our room didn’t work, and we had to come to reception again and again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The check in experience and food was absolutely fantastic! Completely unexpected for what I consider a very basic hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect to go visit the lavender fields....only 10 minutes drive to the famous plateau de Valensole.
Cons: The room was a bit dusty
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beds are comfortable and bathroom is big enough. Staff are very friendly.

Pros: Loved the big trees and the shadowed terrasse. The restaurant was excellent and the staff very welcoming and professional. I enjoyed the air conditioning in the room and the bed was great quality. It was a really enjoyable stop-over on my travel.
Cons: Too short a stay.

Pros: Lovely room and pool. Excellent value.
Cons: Beautiful, sleepy little town. Things close pretty early.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff very nice and welcoming
Cons: Equipment is out dated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. If you are looking for a spa, thermals or the lavender fields this is the place
5.0 Okay
Pros: The facility is in a good location, the swimming pool is fair for a late afternoon bath, breakfast is average but enough for a good start. Nice staff, except for a clerk the told me to park my car in a handicap reserved spot, since the lot was full (obviously I did't, so he had to look for a different option, and he let me park the car in the garage for free, not without some previous words).
Cons: The facility is a little "vintage", with some improvements that makes it look better, but not always operative. For example the elevator is too tiny and slow, stairways practically concealed, and doors are old and heavy. Not to talk about the key, which was about 6 inches tall and about 1 pound heavy (not a tourist size portable key)
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was great. Room was good. Bed and shower were good. AC worked well. Swimming pool very pleasant.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were very helpful & friendly.
Cons: The location was NOT near the Lavender Fields, & a Taxi was needed. There was no food or drinks by the pool & we had to search for staff to get a drink in this area. Breakfast ran out really fast and hot breakfast wasn’t replaced. One morning there was NO hot breakfast at all. The gym was just two stationary bikes by the pool. WiFi was only accessible by reception. No extra facilities.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant. Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean. Quiet.
Cons: Shower cubicle VERY small. Prompter service in the bar during the day.

Pros: The pool, lovely to relax by. The friendly staff. The food. The location, within walking distance of the town but away from the hustle and bustle.
Cons: We would have liked more sunbeds by the pool and a few sunshades would have made it perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: Handsome old building. Excellent position near town centre and opposite the very good casino brasserie for dinner (closed 2 nights a week). Helpful staff. Ample parking.
Cons: Might have had dinner there if demi-pension could have been offered for short stays such as ours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place and Very beautiful city
Cons: Notice - No aircondition
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Villa Castellane is set in nice grounds with a swimming pool. There is plenty of parking. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the village and its restaurants and fairly close to the lavender fields on the Valensole Plateau. Our room was set across from the main villa and had a small terrace with chairs and a table. The room was a good size with a nice shower room and we were happy to find a refrigerator too!
Cons: The pillows were not very comfortable though no complaints about the bed. There is no airconditioning nor any fan so that in hot weather it could be uncomfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good position, very clean studio, comfortable bed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very clean. Small kitchen was fine for us. The receptionist were kind to give us to close rooms because we were 4 people and there was no more bigger room available. The receptionist can only a few English. In general recommended.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Wifi, reception at the restaurant, efficient air conditioning
Cons: Small room, not very clean, no soap and spouse to clean dishes, facilities quite hold, very small terrace, dark room
5.5 Okay
Pros: The room itself was ok, not really big but clean and comfortable.
Cons: It is a spa-hotel but when you arrive at the reception desk you could think you arrived in an hospital. Also for the hallways and surroundings, the atmosphere and smell of an hospital is everywhere. The terrace of our room was poor. It seems that they accomodate a lot of long term residents.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely place great location
Cons: It’s not really what I didn’t like, but more to the point it’s for the more mature people, if under say 50 years I would probably research a younger facility.

There is no staff to assist at all ( of course it is about 10pm when we check in ) . When we book through booking .com ,we choose without breakfast and we had already prepare for our own breakfast , but end of the day . We have no choice but to pay for their breakfast in the hotel . Hope that The management can look into this .
