We got clean towels almost every day. If you want to pay with a card, better make sure you also have cash. I was told the "machine" didn't work and I had to go looking for an atm the night before departure. Therefore, the cost of my stay at this hotel was higher due to the atm cash withdrawal. If I didn't ask in time I don't know what would have happened, but I would certainly rather not miss my flight than go looking for atm. Fortunately we had a car and found a cash-point. There was no "sorry" or discount due to the caused inconvenience. The lady acted as if this was normal and none of her concern and as if their equipment problems was nothing they should inform you about. All in all yes, they're very friendly, but the service is a joke. Air conditioning is only available at extra charge, which isn't clearly stated anywhere. The toilet, shower tray or bathroom sink didn't get cleaned during our stay at all. As a non-smoker I didn't appreciate the extreme proximity of our studio to the pool bar. Also, this particular studio offers very little privacy. All people passing under the balcony, people sitting in the bar, people in the opposite building, even people in the garden rest area can see you. If there are people enjoying the night at the pool, you'll think they're partying next to your bed. The studio is located at the bottom and about 4 meters straight line to the nearest bar table. These problems though are specific to this one very unfortunately located studio No.214
This was a great place for relaxation in the sun, sightseeing without moving, excellent food and nice people to talk to. This part of Samos is beautiful, off the beaten tourist track, and the price was more or less unbelievable. Basically, I loved my few days there and would have stayed a month. A minor quibble is that the kitchen could be much better equipped for actually cooking.
The location was wonderful. Just a few steps away from a lovely beach with clean water. The apart. hotel was clean and modern. It had an adequate kitchenette. The staff was friendly and spoke English.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, good location, clean hotel Too maany mosquitoes in the room
A lovely family run hotel in a charming fishing village with a pebbly beach. Quiet and unspoilt with a handful of authentic tavernas. Within easy reach of a busier strip of tavernas, bars and a larger beach. A nice quiet backwater from which to explore the island. Plenty to do, from hiking to boat trips to eating out at small tavernas. Perfect. I should have perferred it if the shower/bathroom had been a little larger and there had been a balcony to sit on (I had a juliet balcony). However, I think the facilities were very good for the price.
We had ordered a triple room with a mountain view, but was given a double room, and when we didnot accept, we were given a trible room with no view - and when we then wanted to leave, we were offered a suite! In this way the host had the right to claim pay for three days. But we didn't want to stay, we didn't feel we were treated with respect or kindness.
Good location, good value for money. Staff at the restaurant very friendly.
The gourmet restaurant.
The shuttle service by caring and friendly staff The slope was steep to get from the room to the dining area.
the beach and the bar was very nice
Not up to the expectations advertised on the web, especially the sea view bungalow. We barely had a view, and did not have the balcony of the photos. When we expressed our contempt, the reception team were helpful, but the person who was supposed to tend to our problem did not even call back. Nothing was done to adress our claim, it was apparent they did not care. The price versus room quality & service was not fair.
I liked the location: it is magical. I also liked stuff- they were very friendly and helpful. I did not like the food offered in the hotel: both breakfast and dinner were very poor in terms of quality. I also did not like the facilities and infrastructure, which is outdated. The hotel needs renovation; eg beds are old and extremely firm; aircondition machines seriously old. Value for money is poor: they either need to improve the facilities and food or reduce the price
