We stayed at Hampton Inn in Marlborough while we were attending a local hockey tournament. The staff could not be any more patient with our children one highlight was they do have a floor hockey room and the kids thoroughly enjoyed that.

During our stay multiple families were at the hotel for various sports activities in the area. Numerous kids (ages 6-12approx) were running up and down the hall during the day and evening. Only time they were quiet was when they were at the pool. One afternoon about 4 o’clock I literally had to open my door and yell at them for running up and down and being obnoxiously loud as my husband was tryin...

The location and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms were small, which I was able to handle. However, during my three-day stay, there was a kid's hockey tournament. What did this mean? Well, let's start with being able to fall asleep when they did due to the noise level and waking up at 6 am to kids not roaming the halls but shouting through the halls. This continued all morning, making ...

Nice place in a convenient location. I liked my room and the staff were pleasant and effective. I was disappointed only in the cleanliness of my room. I think it's cleaned by someone who does not see dirt, or is far too busy and stressed. I chalk this up to the difficulty of finding workers at the moment, but still, my room needed a deep clean.

Cons (-) The hotel actually overcharged my overnight accommodation without any notice, and I found out when I received my bank statement. I am very angry. I think the hotel staff is very irresponsible. I will definitely not stay in this hotel again next time. The breakfast staff was very unfriendly and she looked as if she was angry. At 8:00, almost no food, but when I asked her, she was very impatient, an...

Pros (+) Bed was so comfortable! Spacious room. Nice and quiet. Good breakfast.
Cons (-) Red lipstick one of of the pillow cases, which means the staff doesn't launder all of the sheets. Curly hair on the bed. Housekeeping definitely cut corners.

Pros (+) The only good thing I can say is that the accommodation was comfortable.
Cons (-) This was the lease welcoming Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed at. Staff was not at all friendly and security was ridiculous. I have never been in a hotel with so much security. I mean they were storming around the hotel, standing in the hallways and scaring our hockey kids to the point of nightmares . They are 9-10 year old boys. I never felt at ease and relaxed
