Casabella is a wonderful private estate, with swimming and tennis on the grounds, whose generous owner/operator is a professor of law. He was so kind to us on our three night stay, driving us into town, though the walk is only about 20 minutes from the historical center of Martina Franca, what proved to be perhaps the loveliest small town we had ever seen. The grounds are immaculately groomed. The historical buildings are lovingly and perfectly restored and modernized. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. Wireless internet was free and fast. The common areas of the hotel were spectacularly decorated and maintained. It was a particular pleasure to play the new piano in the main dining area. The shower head broke on the last morning and I had to hold it in my hand.
The owner was very friendly and helpfull, the room was very nice and so was the garden. The owner drive us to Martine Franca to the restaurant and brought us back because in Martine Franca it is very difficult to drive and park the car. We booked half board via booking.com. It was not possible (not enough people)So each evening we had to go to Martina Franca where it is impossible to park the car. It is not a few minutes walk from the historic centre (10 minutes by car) as mentioned on booking.com information
It is very convenient for the people who are planning a trip to Pulia especially for Alberobello, Zoo Safari and around. The hotel is very new equipped and has really very cosy atmosphere. Even though owners can't speak english, actually it is not a problem since they are very nice and sincere people. Last thing, it is very clean which is very important for me since I am travelling with my son.
Beautifull hotel, excellent design, very rustic but luxurious. Convenient parking. Excellent garden with swimming pool. Nobody in hotel knows any word in English.
The accommodation was spotless and the pool was excellent. There was no information provided on any of the room facilities so it was necessary to ask about everything in order to get help. In some cases this was quite inconvenient.
